Sonos did produce a great looking prototype based on my design. However, they didn’t tell me it broke in transit. They mended it before showing it to me and I blindly signed off on starting production.We presold 200+ units.Sonos was months late for the expected delivery date and there was no state-side quality control. Virtually half of our figurines were broken in transit to the states. They didn’t tell me or didn’t know.The factory did not match our colors on packaging, and when it was commented on, they printed overtop of the already wrong packaging. So there was really strange registration.I would never leave a bad review for someone but I lost thousands dealing with broken figurines, returns, refunds and customer service w my own team. I paid in full and I’m sure half of my product was broken.The product I approved looked great. They did not follow through.I wish I could have managed their factory directly.I’ll delete my review if they want to remake half of my product.

I contracted with Carl at Sono Product Development to create a prototype for a baby doll in July 2020, not only have we missed every deadline, but I still DO NOT have a COMPLETED prototype. I paid over $8K, in advanced, as I was advised, to have phases run concurrently to assure an ON TIME production for 2020 Christmas Season, TOTAL JOKE!When I FINALLY received the SAMPLE prototype, in February 2021, I was so disappointed, not at all what I expected. Addressed all of my concerned with Carl, who in turn, attempted to sift an additional $8K to fix what should have been done initially. When I REFUSED to be pay an ADDITIONAL $8K, and simply requested for the project to be completed, NO ADDITIONAL CHANGES, just complete what I PAID FOR, like sow the hair on the baby doll’s head, HE STOPPED COMMUNICATING! Have left messages, sent emails, NO REPLY and still NO COMPLETE PROTOTYPE!At this point, I just want a refund or I will have to pursue this matter legally.Shevelle Ford

SONOS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT was hired by me, a childrens book author to create a plush toy and design its packaging. I chose this vendor based on their extensive experience.SONOS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT failed to meet my needs. They produced prototypes that were incomplete and malfunctioning, its not child friendly, and they refused to make changes. Moreover, the teams communication skills were subpar, and they struggled to meet deadlines.(6 months vs 4 weeks) The inside material is rough and awful, the stitching is unprofessional, the zipper gets stuck in the material, the head still droops, the logos dont match, the pillow is a pouch, the bear doesnt tuck inside to convert to a pillow, its flat and you can feel some kind of board inside, the strap wasnt changed to match the bear, the nose wasnt changed to look like a koala, its not shelf ready or esthetically presentable to license. Overall, it was a disappointing partnership.This company should be ashamed of how they take your money and ruin your dreams. I am in favor of a class action law suit. I do not recommend them.The response to this review will be ALL LIES to cover themselves! The proof is in the pudding and I have the proof!The company that made the initial bear, DOES NOT do electronics, thats why I went to SONOS Product Development. If I were the only one, I would say his response MIGHT hold a tiny bit of weight, but seeing there are others with similar problems; There must be truth in my review!

Carl and his team are very professional and knowledgeable in making an idea into reality. With his help and his team, they were able to design my art sketches into a 3D CAD design and produced a prototype. With their help, I was able to receive a utility patent. I am not entirely done with the project yet and will return to make additional modifications. I highly recommend Carl and his team (Sonos Product Development) to those who want their ideas into reality or seeking to receive a patent. -Dr. Edison Han

I have been working with Carl for the last couple of months on a toy idea that Ive had some several years. Prior to coming to Sonos, I went with another company that talked a lot, but delivered nothing. I was very specific in my vision in my toy and as the project progressed, I had additional revision. Rather then suggest and push a new prototype at additional cost. Carl and team came up with some out of the box solutions and even provided additional ideas that I never thought of in connection with my toy. Im extremely happy in every way with my dealing with Carl and his team. I would highly recommend his team. It has been night and day between Sonos and the previous company I was working with on this project. I hope to finish strong, but at this point I cant express my satisfaction in words!Thank you Carl and team!! Lets take it home and fantastic work!!!

Working with the Sonos team over the past several months has been amazing! I have really enjoyed seeing our rough concept drawings come to life. The attention to detail as well as craftsmanship is second to none! The project tracking system deployed by Sonos made it very simple and easy to monitor the progress of each project milestones and facilitated two-way communication for a fast transition through each stage of the project. We have found our Design Team!

Ive had the opportunity of working with Sonos on a couple of projects now, and I cant say enough how much I appreciate their input and patience throughout the process. I knew what I wanted, but there were so many additional things I hadnt thought about. It got a bit overwhelming at first, but you can tell theyve helped others through these issues many times before. Carls input and experience was really helpful in getting my design and ideas refined into something that was not only a better prototype, but more affordable for me, which was a big deal because I didnt have an unlimited budget to start with.If youve got an invention idea, or an original product you want to prototype and produce, they are great to work with. Carl and his team were fantastic to work with on my toy prototype!! Very communicative, attentive to details, and delivered above and beyond what was promised and anticipated. They made my design both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The process felt like a true collaboration, with lots of pro guidance along the way, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their toy or product concept made into something legit.

I am so lucky to have found SONOS Product Development. Carls ability to design and problem-solve really took my product to the next level. His ideas were truly brilliant. He works quickly and is very dedicated to your project. The moment I had my first functioning prototype in my hands is a moment I will never forget. As we are now working on fine-tuning, I am confident Carl and his team will get me to where I want to go. I am excited to start working with SONOS for my packaging, website and MANUFACTURING!!!! Carl is not only smart, he is personable and encouraging. After receiving a hundred Nos, he said, Yes!...and then delivered on that. Cant wait to share my product with the world!

My experience with Sonos way exceeded my expectations. They developed a toy for my son based on a character he loves and they brought it to life perfectly. I didnt know what to expect initially but took the risk of working with them and boy did my trust pay off! His face is going to light up with joy. I had no idea something this cool could be brought to life so expertly. I plan to work with them again on future toys.
