These folks are very professional. I have attended this office for many years. This doctor is a relatively new owner. He is good. friendly, informative. An excellent doctor for my requirements. And his staff is great. And love the cleaned up look to the office. Goes right along with the direction this practice is going!

Best appointment I’ve had with Dr Anders in 10 years. Only negative is that we had no discussion of the scalp changes in the skin at the crown of my head which has been a concern during past exams. I’ll be back in two months for a follow up and make sure to bring it up. All else good; he seems very concerned and caring of my other issues.

No waiting at this office to be seen. I saw Katherine Wilkens for my appointment and was seen right away. She is excellent, professional and caring. Also answers any questions and explains her answers. The office staff are very nice and efficient. I am reminded of my appointments via text well in advance. They all had smiles on their faces and i was in and out of the office in no time. Easiest and nicest doctors office I go to.

Professional staff, minimal wait time, efficient with streamline care.I understand fee for cosmetic consultation, yet thought $250 was a bit much for 5-10 minute consultation. Katherine did remove skin tags and I appreciated her providing treatment with the fee. She is pleasant and informative.

Ive known Katherine Wilkins since she first started with Dr Smith years ago,shes always patient kind and very professional.My hair loss years ago was hard and upsetting as a woman getting older she has always been there when Ive needed her, the shots really do work !! This year Ive needed to cancel appointments do to a broken toe and broken wrists and migraines that plague me. Most Dr .offices would have cancelled me but they have always had understanding for patients getting older and experiencing health related problems that come up .Im grateful for them always willing to see me ! The entire office is extremely beautiful and filled with positive energy. The ladies who worked there were full of smiles, very professional and seemed to know a lot. I have had many visits to Dr, Anders office and most often with Katherine Wilkens. PA,C . The typical visit is to have a physical review of areas that have sun exposure damage and other annoying visible skin growths.Katherines keen eye has determined which need the appropriate treatment; a few have required surgery and biopsys. Often the little critters are frozen with nitrogen and disappear in a few days; the mild discomfort freezing is gently applied; always with assuring results. All the staff. the spotless facility and easy SR and Sonoma locations make it a 5 star plus. WG

If you are looking for a professional, top notch, world class dermatologist call Dr. R. Makala Anders in Santa Rosa / Sonoma.My mother was diagnose with melanoma on her leg. Due to the advance nature of the cancer, prognosis was not good. Dr. Anders removed the tumor and ten years later my mother is alive and doing well. Great job Dr. Anders, thank you.Four years ago my mother got skin cancer behind her left ear, a difficult location since the the cancer had spread to where the ear and head meet. To remove the skin cancer, a surgical procedure called MOHS was required. We consulted with the highly regarded MOHS clinic at UCSF, but decided instead to go with Dr. Anders. We are extremely satisfied with the results of the MOHS procedure that Dr. Anders performed to remove the skin cancer on my mothers ear. After the skin healed, you could not tell which ear had the cancer since both ears look the same. There are no scars and the cancer is gone.My 92 year old mother is very happy with Dr. Anders, and we highly recommend him.

This doctor is a smooth talker but definitely not to be trusted! He talks like hes super knowledgeable and knows whats best but thats only if you dont see all the red flags like me. Dont fall for the fact that he can schedule you quicker than other doctors. The only reason for that is that he isnt actually popular and hes desperate for your money. When other doctors are booked for a while its usually because they have a demand for their talent. This guy lacks all the skill of a professional and is extremely insincere. Hell charge you an arm and a leg and youll end up getting a botched procedure like mine. Stay away from this doctor unless you want permanent damage. He doesnt care about any of his clients, just their money. Hands down one of the worst decisions ive ever made. Now I have to pay an actual professional to try and fix something that is irreversibly screwed up. What a nightmare!

I had a mole removed and tested. I was told the procedure and test was $250 UNLESS it was sent to UCSF for the test. For which I was not given an estimate but I was assured it would not be sent there and it didnt look dangerous. My test came back negative and then I received a bill from UCSF for $300. So I paid $550 in total and am definitely feeling scammed. They should have called me for approval for my test to be sent there. I would have had no problem waiting for the original option that I had already paid for.
