I have been scammed by Revolution Solar.On top of all the other stuff….The 30 year insurance I bought was never paid for so therefore I have none.But…Solar Insure was very helpful in finding current info on Revolution Solar and pointed me in a couple different avenues I had not thought of.So as an insurance Co…. I have no idea how they are.But the seemed like nice and helpful folks.Of course who doesn’t in this business when they want to sell you something

. start by saying Valerie Nichols of Solar Insure is an angel and a godsend! Her helpful attitude and efficiency was also felt 6mos ago but most recently, my solar edge app was not showing any energy production. My first instinct was to call the installers. As I did not get a callback, I made contact with Valerie once again. She was there with guidance and support every..step..of..the..way offering troubleshooting advice, videos and pictures! She even followed up the next morning to continue our case and eventually our communication issue with the app was solved! Such a relief. However, I am still awaiting a callback from the installers.Valerie is SO very patient and makes sure all questions I had were answered! She definitely went Above and Beyond!

In my experience in the solar industry, Solar Insure is the best protection available. In a volatile industry where companies often come and go, there is no better warranty value for homeowners than 30 years of 3rd party verified and guaranteed protection, regardless of the longevity of their original installer or equipment manufacturers. I rarely set up an installation without a Solar Insure warranty. The absolute best!!

I contacted Solar Insure regarding couple of solar panels producing much less energy than the rest. I spoke with Sarah.She helped me setup my account to give her access to analyze my solar panels and gave she also gave me information to contact Enphase to get their permission to analyze my solar panels.Sarah listened to my issue, explained everything in detail, stayed on top of my issue and acted very professional. We communicated several times on the phone and via email. She analyzed my panels and found out that the issue was shade related.I want to thank Sarah for her excellent service and will rate her performance with 5 stars.Don Prince

We had a 54 panel solar system put into place at our residence in June of 2016 by September of 2016 13 of the panels were not producing but because we had Frontier Communications for wi-fi we weren’t able to stay connected to the emphases so we weren’t able to know there was no production by 13 panels. This year we were able to have Spectrum for our internet/wi-fi service but no one in our area of the northern most part of California could give us any assistance and didn’t seem to give a hoot that our system was not producing so out of desperation I found Solar Insure using Google. When I called I got a lady by the name of Sarah who spent HOURS of time on Monday walking me through all the steps to find out that there is 13of our 54 panels not reporting any production. After that she took the initiative to search and tell me who in my area may be able to help us. We now have an appointment with a company to come out and hopefully rectify the issue. If all the people working at Solar Insure are as diligent as Sarah it should be one hell of a company to do business with. This time next year we should not have a $2985 true up with PG&E. I can only say I can’t give Sarah enough kudos for what she did for us but I sure hope her boss can. Thank you again Sarah, we truly appreciate you and all your efforts

I think All should know!Solar Insure came to my rescue. I was in tears. My solar system was going crazy. It was feeding the Utility first then Me second .( something like that) . CostingMe triple! The bill the Utility Company had sent me was Outrageous. +++ My Battery was confused and not working right.I’m not sure what was happening, but Nate at Solar Insure calmed me down and reassured me that all would be fine.Nate quickly got to work and got a Technician out to take care of my problem ASAP!Solar Insure and Nate were there for me when I thought all was a complete disaster. I can’t even explain how bad this was. I was living a nightmare. My System was only a few months old and my knowledge was none.They were knowledgeable and very prompt to take care of my problem. Communication was exceptional.! Having a solar system requires so maintenance; unfortunately one of my inverters failed and Solar Insure was able to diagnose the problem, order the replacement and had shipped to my home. The approved installers arrived the very next morning and had the system up and running. Solar Insure kept me informed real time and followed up to make sure the system was operational. Above and beyond.I had my system installed by Kuubix in 2022, and it was supposed to come with a 30-year warranty with Solar Insure. In 2023, Kuubix went out of business, and they said that we could file claims with Solar Insure for warranty work.Last week, one of my solar panels stopped producing. I called Solar Insure, and they said that the installer didn’t pay for the warranty nor did they register it. It appears that they took the money and ran, and since they’re closed, I don’t think I can get the warranty instated.Nevertheless, Sarah asked me for my inverter information and logged into my system to check it. Less than an hour later, she texted me that she had confirmed my suspicion that an optimizer had gone bad, ordered a warranty replacement from SolarEdge that would be delivered to my home along with the case number, then gave me a contact for a local installer to ask for a quote to install it when it arrives.I was blown away by how much effort Sarah put into helping me repair my system for someone that technically wasn’t a customer.The next day, I found and sent her a copy of my contract with the Solar Insure option selected, but as I’d feared, it was worthless because Kuubix didn’t fulfill their end of the bargain.I’m not able to sign up for the full 30-year contract because it isn’t offered to homeowners directly, but they do have a 10-year option available.If you have solar panels installed at your home, something is sure to break at some point over their lifespan. Based on what Solar Insure did for me, a non-paying customer at this point, I’m confident that they will take very good care of those with a contract.If your installation includes Solar Insure when you purchase it, though, it’s probably worth giving Solar Insure a call to make sure that the installer has entered it into their system so that you don’t get shafted like I did.

Prompt action considering I had issues during both holidays.My solar company went out of business solar sure jumped into action to fix an area on my roof that had some problems. 8/18/2023 - Valerie Nichols helped me file a claim for a panel/optimizer that was underperforming. She did a great job of communicating what information she needed from me, and then took that information and created the Case so that the panel/optimizer can get fixed. She provided me with all the information I needed to keep apprised of the status of the fix, and invited me to contact her if I had any questions at all. Very professional! Very thorough! Very personable!!9/7/2023 - Follow up. As Valerie Nichols had told me when she created the Case referenced in the previous paragraph, the part (optimizer) would soon be delivered to my house (via UPS) and she would then coordinate to have someone come replace it on the “bad” panel. The part was delivered 8/28/2023, and a Solar Smart Living technician came to replace the part on 9/7/2023. After the “fix” was completed, Valerie took the new optimizer’s serial number and updated the SolarEdge program so that my app is accurate!12/5/2023 - Update - On 11/20/2023, I notified Solar Insure (Sarah Bonsrah) that the output of my whole system went to zero. Within 20 minutes of my call, Sarah had worked with SolarEdge to diagnose the problem and order a new inverter for my system. That inverter arrived in 4 days, and coordination was made by Sarah to have it installed. The replacement was put in on 12/4/2023, and my system is back up and working. I am so very impressed by how quickly and efficiently Solar Insure handles these problems. Having spent several years developing, implementing, and operating a large-scale O&M operation, it is great to have the support of a company like Solar Insure. As our organization scaled in size we realized that getting warranty support for installed products could be somewhat tedious. We also noticed that we were taking on more and more sites from installers that were no longer present in the market.These are the main reasons we made the decision to partner with Solar Insure. They gave us the support we needed in taking care of fleet maintenance while also providing our customers with the assurances and peace of mind to know that their arrays were covered beyond what other installers could offer. I highly recommend them if you are an installer and I wouldnt move forward with purchasing an array without their coverage from a consumer standpoint.

My mobile application for my solar panels began to report errors with the panels shortly after installation. Despite numerous unanswered calls to my insolvent solar company, I was left on my own to troubleshoot problems out of my own capabilities.I eventually reached out to the solar salesman who previously represented my solar company and they mentioned that Solar Insure was the included insurance plan attached to my solar contract agreement. I made a phone call to Solar Insure to ask if they could do anything to help me out. This is where I was introduced to Valerie Nichols. After a quick rundown of my situation, it turned out my previous solar company also may have misled their sales representatives and customers to believe they had insurance the entire time despite not actually providing solar insurance.I thought I was completely out of options because I was not an actual client of Solar Insure until Valerie proposed a phone consultation to possibly resolve my solar issues. Valerie expertly guided me through the process of troubleshooting nearly every potential issue that a solar owner could experience. Although she was not able to do much on her end, she established that my panels may have suspected wiring or breaker issues. I was just grateful that Valerie took time out of her day to help me. After the consultation, she made a recommendation to a locally trusted solar company in my area who could further assist me with my predicament.Fast forward a few weeks later, my solar issues have been fully resolved and the assessment given by Valerie was completely accurate. My new solar company also claimed that my issues were likely caused by a rushed installation job. Having a general idea of what the problem was expedited the repair process and left little room for error. I had a 2 part problem.1. Because I’m not as technical as I’d like, I didn’t realize that I had to update the Solarinsure app with my new internet providers wi-fi and password, Valerie walked me through the process, had to boot the Wi-Fi and my cell. I cant say enough about how helpful this company has been for me. My installation company for my solar system went out if business with no insurance to my solar system. I was supposed to be cover by this Solarinsur company. When I called them to verify my cover by them per my installationcontract form my installer, Solarinsur did not have my information or me being registered with them. There was no way for me to get my system registered with them because the installer went out of business and bankrupt. Over the past few months people from Solarinsur have been continously in contact with to get my situation resolved so I can have my system cover by the Solarinsur company. Their representatives have been very professional and awesome! We finally got everything resolved and now my system is insured for 30yrs now. This is a very professional company that I would highly recommend to make sure a solar system provider this company as the insurer when you buy your solar system. Having Solarinsur as your insurance is a must to protect your investment for 30yrs! Can not speak highly enough how Solarinsur has been to me and my situation. Highly, highly recommend this company!

As an owner of a solar company. It’s extremely important to know that you can have a third-party back your work as well as the equipment that you sell to a customer. That type of piece of mine is amazing. No one goes in business to go out of business… However if that was to happen, my customer will still be taken care of.
