I am very happy with the instal and pricing. Everyone was pleasant and professional and the installer took care of multiple sliders and windows quickly and without damaging anything. Given that many contractors who have installed or done work on my house invariably damage something else, it was a nice change that they did their job well and without causing any issues. I would use them again, and probably will next year to do the front of the house windows.

The service and quality of the product is wonderful. Can’t even see anything was added. One of our doors was a challenge to do because of the shape but the installer never gave up and tried three times to make it work. Extremely happy with the work that was done. Installers were professional and very friendly.

Sam showed up on time, answered my questions, and was generally courteous and helpful. He finished tinting 4 large picture windows and two full sized French doors in under two hours. The work was excellent, and I am very happy with the outcome.

Solar Art is a very professional company. From my first inquiry to installation was only 3 days. The estimator showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. We needed window panels on several large sliding doors tinted because the sun was bleaching out our hardwood floors. The installer, Oscar, called ahead and said he could arrive early which was great. The installation took a little longer than expected but it was not Oscar’s fault. The painter’s edging was not very precise so Oscar had to clean up all the edges to ensure a proper fit. I would highly recommend Solar Art for any installation.

I had a great experience with the Solar Art team! From the prompt communication to the quick frosting installation on my companies conference room windows. My manager was hesitant to get the installation, and didnt have time to do his research on Solar Art, so he left the ball in my hand. The entire process with SolarArt was very seamless. They gave me various tint options to choose from based on my requirements and were able to work within my tight timeline. The installation technician was very efficient and respectful of entering my home (he brought real house shoes to wear during installation - YES!). I would definitely use them again for my home window tinting needs.

We have a large set of old midcentury modern windows on our bungalow. They are very nice but effectively turn our living room into a functional greenhouse every Summer. An architect suggested we keep the windows, but apply a reflective film.We called a few companies, but chose Solar Art because they were extremely professional, and had excellent follow through. From the Sales Rep who quoted, to the Sales Assistant who mailed out the samples, to the Technician who installed the film -- they were all great to work with.We chose a German product, and it has made a huge difference for us. We wish we had done it sooner. We feel for the cost, and its effectivness it is well worth the money to help climate change proof our house. We would highly recommend Solar Art to anyone looking for a residential window tint application.

We had window UV protection put on our windows approximately 9 years ago. The west facing windows, that have the most sun exposure, had some issues. Chris, from Solar Art, was not with the original company and yet he treated me as though it was he who installed the window protection. He was very conscientious and followed through with fixing and repairing all the windows that needed to be repaired. He e-mailed me with appointment times and who the technician would be that was coming to the home. All the technicians were very professional. I would highly recommend this company for any UV protection for your windows and the quality of their customer service.Judy

I have an office nook in my home and the small wall behind the desk has been empty since we moved in a year ago. I worked with Solar Art to produce a vinyl wall covering with an image of Balboa Beach - one of my familys favorite spots in Orange County and where we got married. Now, the wall matches the beachy-chic decor of my house and brings SO much happiness to my workspace. Solar Arts team was also incredible to work with. The Solar Art team was helpful and patient, providing me with samples and information as I searched for exactly the right films to control solar heating in my house. The back wall of our house faces southwest and is filled with windows (upstairs and down) that result in a significant increase in temperatures in our back rooms in the late afternoon when the sun hits them. When I found the right films (made my Llumar), scheduling was quick and easy. The installer (Oscar) arrived on time, was cheerful, and his work was absolutely FANTASTIC. I watched him apply the film and then could barely tell that the film was there! The choices of film turned out to be perfect—cutting out UV and reducing the solar heating dramatically, but still letting a very good quality and amount of light into the room. And the price was reasonable—certainly this was the most affordable option to deal with the solar heating problem in our house (cheaper than awnings, patio covers and the like). My wife and I are VERY happy and would recommend the Solar Art team—and the Llumar solar control films—to anyone who might be considering them.

The whole team at Solar Arts was a great help, from the initial quote provided to the final execution. Onell and Chris were very helpful getting the details that we wanted to provide the most accurate quote. They even were able to work around our schedule, even though they had a full calendar. Alex showed up perfectly on-time, even a few minutes early. Come to find out that the film removal we requested was actually an odd epoxy all over our window. Alex problem solved right on the spot and although difficult, he was able to remove it all and execute a perfectly tinted window and door for us. Thanks!

The back of our house faces south and gets full sun all day. We had artificial turf installed last year. The suns power was magnified and reflected back onto out turf. A small patch of sun magnified temperatures on to the turf of 160 degrees. The result was melted turf.The burn lines looked like tire marks on the turf. We had no idea for weeks what suddenly caused all of these tire tracks to show up on our lawn. For a while I was convinced it was the wheel barrel I used weeks earlier that made the tracks, but one day my wife did notice the patch of concentrated sunlight. I made a time lapse video and the light patch moved right down one of the many tracks. The various tracks were made as the sun moves during the season. Hotter days made a more noticeable track as the burn (melting) was more severe.Solar Art installed the window film and now when I measure the temperature of the light patch it is barley 100 degrees and just warm to the touch with. Good news is the turf company has agreed to cover the cost of the replacement turf and I am paying the labor to have it replaced.
