Having to go to a specialist doctor can create a bit of fear, but Solano Dermatology has always put those fears to rest. The building and the office is easy to find, clean and accommodating, and the staff friendly and professional. My surgeon was excellent in making me feel at ease, explaining the procedure and after care fully, and shared some of his background. I would recommend Solano Dermatology to any, and everyone looking for a Dermatologist.

I have seen Dr. Geisse, His assistant Kyle for close to 30 years With 100 + surgical removals and very few scars! They take time with patients, explain treatments and possible alternative treatments. follow up calls the evening after treatment. The facility is always clean, well lit, with nice open parking lot. A very friendly staff who greet and care for you as soon as you walk in until you walk out . Would give more stars!

I’ve visited several more local providers over the last several years and had “meh” experiences with all. Not here. Professional and helpful office staff and Dr. Mraz is an excellent clinician. She’s kind and thorough. This place is worth driving out of my way for. Highly recommend.

Sooo difficult to get an appointment here, and it takes so long to get one because theyre booked out months and months in advance. BUT once I got there, it was worth the wait. Excellent care, friendly and efficient receptionist, and nice tech/nurse staff as well. Ill go back but I sure wish theyd do something about their booking/phone messaging system.

The doctor I am seeing there were so great on my behalf and that is why I am giving a 5 stars except for some of the staff that is working there wasnt so great and not really helpful. Who or whoever is and who do wrong for filing up the paper work and putting it on a wrong files should have more have an extra careful of what they were doing. Theres a lot of issues from their staff getting fax or important papers from other departments and clinic. Follow ups are so bad

If you are an African American, or have darker toned skin, please do not go here. The atmosphere isn’t at all welcoming. You will wait 15-30 mins after you appointment time to be seen by anyone. Dr. Cary serviced me. Not sure if I spelled her name right. I visited this office twice because my dermatologist on base is out on maternal leave so I was referred here. When initially asking about the lasers they use, Dr. Cary stated that she uses YAG for darker skin tones. I’m not sure what happened but she burned me so badly on my chin area. She zapped me 3 times and after that I was so uncomfortable I didn’t let her finish. I’m so glad I stopped her in her tracks or else my entire chin would have been burned. Not sure how long it will take for this to clear up. I was already self conscious about the chin area on my face but now I’m really depressed about how it looks after being burned with the laser. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with darker skin. They have no idea what they are doing and they aren’t welcoming at all. Each appointment Kharri stared at me and asked so what do you want to?? Referencing my skin. I wish I would’ve never gone here in the first place.

My wife, kids, and myself have been patients of Solano Dermatology for about twenty years now. Ive never considered going anywhere else for this type of care and have never had anything but outstanding service with everyone Ive dealt with here. I know how difficult it can be to find quality health care - everyone there is very helpful, professional, and very caring about you as an individual - I actually look forward to seeing them for my appointments. I am so thankful that I found this group and I believe you will be too.

Napa has lacked a good Dermatology practice. I used the Vallejo office of Solano Dermatology until the Napa office opened. I have been seeing Dr Aronson for four years and have been very pleased with her professional skill and personable demeanor. I see her for regular skin check and have had a couple skin cancers removed effectively. I highly recommend her practice.

I had a wonderful experience at Solano Dermatology’s Napa office. The staff was caring and friendly, and were able to see me urgently. The office is beautiful and everyone I met was warm and welcoming. Dr. Aronson is knowledgeable and worked quickly, and answered all of my questions. I know I’ll be healing 100% soon because of her intervention and expert care. Hannah was friendly and excellent to work with too, she even remembered me from my last visit! She took great care of me. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I will highly recommend your office to everyone I know.

I had melanoma removed years ago in another state and needed to have a check up. You never know what staff or the physician will end up being, but in this case every staff member I met were lovely people. Dr. Okman was an outstanding physician. Courteous, knowledgeable, great listener, and efficient.

Dr. Geisse is unbelievable. One of the best doctors I have ever visited. He actually listens to you and explained benefits and risks of a procedure. I was very apprehensive about Mohs Surgery (damn internet). After 5 minutes I was totally at ease. I was expecting two to four hours and planned my day accordingly. I was in and out in 40 minutes. I was thrilled and celebrated with an early lunch. I would not hesitate to go here again. His assistant Kat was also was great, even laughed at my stupid attempts at humor. The front desk staff were super, I was 10 minutes early and I think waited no more than 2 minutes before being called back. My only disappointment was they told me to bring a book to read and I did not even get a chance to start it as they were so efficient...maybe next time.

Since 2017, Ive seen Dr. Mraz a few times, and always leave feeling taken care of. I trust her advice and expertise on the treatments I request for my acne scars, and shes even gone beyond the treatment I expect (if shes feels its best). Ill be a patient for as long as Im in Solano County.

A bunch of things have changed since Ive last been there. But they do have nice staff. It was easy for me to get there by Bus #5. It wasnt a lot of people so I got checked in early. They also had to assist other people who came in late due to work schedules. I had to return there next week Friday for my results. So Ill put more details till then

I am eternally grateful to Dr. John Geisse and his surgical team, and PA Debra Stock and the entire nursing and administrative team at Solano Dermatology Associates. I have had two squamous cell carcinomas removed and received exceptional care throughout. I was very impressed that after both surgeries, Dr. Geisse called me to check on me. His surgical PA (I am so very sorry I have forgotten your name) made such incredibly tiny and orderly stitches that I dont even need makeup to hide the scars. PA Debra Stock has taken very good care of me too. I had a great deal of sun damage and the Blue Light treatments have significantly improved my skin and hopefully reduced the risk of future skin cancers. PA Stock also helped me with other dermatology issues. This is an excellent group of professionals and I consider myself very lucky to have been cared for by this team.

I had a much better experience at the Vacaville location than I did at the one in Vallejo. PA-C Jennifer Ward was through, attentive, and interested. Ive been seeing Dr. Okman at Solano Dermatology for years, for several skin conditions. Hes been great and everyone in the office are so nice and helpful. When I needed an expensive medical device for at-home treatment he managed to get my insurance to pay for it 100%. Amazing.

Dr. Johnathan Okman was incredibly clear. Consistent in his assurance that my condition is reasonably curious, yet most likely nothing to be too concerned with. This kept my confidence through a series of unusual, and very scary health issues.In very real ways, whatever was going on within, had absolutely manifested on almost every part of my body..Im healing nicely. I went to Solano Dermatology Associates regarding a rash. When I got there they offered a full body skin exam. It was easy and great! They treated me for my rash. They had products I could purchase right there on site. Very pleased. I will definitely go back!

Always playing at work and laughing, but not so busy trying to help or find the real Issue. I had to go twice and still didnt get any accurate answers,just send me out quickly with no real effort.also the staff is high and mighty and kick me out for expressing that I dont like how thier way of conducting and some of the workers attitude. Its sad really they are not that good Ill leave it at that, uppity and too playful.i would expect higher quality from a good business or service.

UPDATE:Dr Okman called me personally and explained unfortunately why I was still being charged. In that conversation he ended up actually helping me with a different issue that I have struggled with my whole life.-I was recently referred to Dr Okman at Solano Dermatology Associates. It cost me $105 to meet with him and be told that I would have to wait until my skin reaction showed up again for him to do anything about it. When I called to ask why it cost me so much to be told to come back, all I got was thats just the way it is. As you can tell, they care deeply for their patients. I recommend finding a different facility that understands that they are a PROVIDER. If nothing was provided, I shouldnt have to pay the entire amount of an initial visit.

Went to have skin cancer site removed. Appt. on time, attended to surgery promptly, and about 3 to 4 weeks later it has healed. It was a big hole. Had a follow up and it went as scheduled to remove stitches and check the condition of wound.

Margaret Nonato is fabulous. She has done laser treatments on my hands and arms to remove the dark spots. She is incredibly caring and professional and thorough. I love her! The treatment is simple and results are dramatic. I have had Dr Geiss do MOHs treatment on my forehead with Kyle suturing after, and no one can tell I had surgery at all there. Dt Geiss also fixed my pierced ears, closing the elongated holes up so I could have them redone. He is gentle and attentive and very skilled. Dr. Mraz has treated my varicose veins to remove the unsightly bumps and ease the pain in them. She, too, is caring and professional. SDA is a stand-up operation. Ive gone there for probably ten years. You wont find a better practice.

This is an excellent dermatology clinic and we are fortunate to have such quality care in our neighborhood. Everything is gone over and explained before having a procedure. Supplies and directions are sent home with patients for followup home care.

Serena Mraz did a vein surgery and did not properly cauterize the vein leading to blood leakage in my leg....so she did a second surgery to rectify her mess. I still had tremendous pain and ended up in Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa where they removed the whole vein that had collapsed. That surgery to clean up her mess would have cost me $38,589.47 if I hadn`t had medical insurance, as it was I was out of pocket for $4,796.67 for her neglect. Today I have a bulging, painful vein down the front of my leg into my foot and the worry of blood clots when on a plane or a long drive in a car. Oh yeah, I suppose I should thank her for being disabled and being able to get Social Security 10 years earlier than I had planned.....except for the fact that financially I would be better off if I was able to stay working.

After a set of six months acne treatment with medication have been assigned from this site, my enthusiastic seventeen girl got a severe depression from the month of forth and doctor didn’t even notified her issues until I took her back to my primary physician after my very concerned. Think twice before letting teens go for acne treatment!
