I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by SoCal Synthetic Lawns. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and care.Throughout the entire process, they were transparent and honest, ensuring that every step was communicated clearly. There were no surprises, no adjustments to the schedule, they delivered on what they said they were going to do. The Owner CJ came out multiple times to make sure the project was on track and following the final plan.This is a large investment and something you will stare at every day for several years. DO NOT choose a cheaper company to save 10% and regret it every day you look at your lawn or putting green.I cannot recommend SoCal Synthetic Lawns enough. I Highly recommend SoCal Synthetic Lawns for your turf remodel job. We chose CJ and his team for our backyard project. We are very happy with the results. CJ was very helpful in helping us decide what we wanted. What an absolutely positive experience working with SoCal Synthetic Lawns! I was determined to find the right contractor and did my diligence sorting through all the reviews via word of mouth recommendations and flier ads.I ended up doing walk throughs with a half dozen contractors that I had vetted. CJ’s company was selected based on knowledge of his industry and best practices, among other things.One of the biggest reasons for selecting SoCal Lawns is that CJ is a people-person and energetically collaborates with the customer to ensure the work is quoted accurately as documented. CJ is great at offering alternate ideas and concepts to ensure the customer is fully satisfied at the end.One of the coolest feature that CJ offers is TurfEdge. As you can see in my photos, this feature really makes the turf standout and appear thicker than it actually is.His crew is very talented, hard working, excellent attention to detail, and respectful of your time and property. The crew lead is a highly experienced landscaper and I observed him being very hands on with the other crew members to ensure the work was being done correctly and with high quality.I HIGHLY recommend SoCal Synthetic Lawns for your next project! CJ and his team do 6-stars work. They transformed our backyard. We debated for a couple of years between new sod and synthetic turf. Glad we went with the latter, together with pavers. We enjoy how the turf blends in with the contours of the pool and garden. And it looks natural. Our dog actually lays down on the turf to enjoy the sun. Osvaldo was the site manager and him and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They put in gopher mesh and applied material that guards against dog urine.

SoCal Synthetic Lawns is the company you can trust! I had a chance to saw them working on our neighbor’s yard and asked them for a business card. Since I live a 5 minutes drive from this company, I decided to make an appointment in person. In their office I met the owner and the office manager Amanda, and I could tell right away that they were trustworthy people. After Josh gave us a quote, we decided that we didn’t even want to get quotes from two other companies we had on the list, and we were right. Our backyard and the entrance area were almost done in two days !!!, and the third day they were mostly just making it look perfect. Great teamwork! We love how our backyard looks now!

CJ was great to work with, especially when we made VERY last minute changes to add a putting green! (Literally at 11pm the night before ) The crew was clean, friendly, and all were good at what they do. I could tell they werent cutting any corners & did it the right way. Ive never been a fan of turf because I thought it looked so fakey, but we love that it has the brown in it to make it realistic looking & its great quality. Would definitely recommend!

Theres nobody more detailed and thorough than me when it comes to long term investments. CJ (the owner) came to my home and spent as much time as we needed to make sure we understood all the options and differentiators. He created and patented a raised edge that is the absolute difference maker to make your yard appear real vs fake. Nobody else offered that option. They also do a S seam vs. a straight seam which makes it unnoticeable. To top it off they were $2000.00 cheaper than the 2 other bids. Dont look any further. I get so many compliments on this yard its insane. People dont even believe its not real.

The team (Office and work crew) at SoCal synthetic lawns, did a fantastic job on our synthetic grass installation. They showed up early every day and worked in poor weather conditions. Every time there was a sunny day or a misty or slightly rainy day. they were here giving it there all. They cleaned up every day so that we didn’t have to follow behind them to pick up paper cups and trash and other items. They are breath of fresh air. The team did both our front yard and backyard and they both look great. They have a way to make the synthetic long look like real grass with their raise edge. If you need synthetic grass, this group of experts will really wow you.

My husband & I looked into 13 companies for a putting green, interviewed 7 of them, and chose SoCal for their professionalism, detailed explanation of their work, love of the game of golf, competitive price, and finance option. They were flexible with working around our schedule. CJ & Josh gave wonderful suggestions for the design of the greens, putting as much interest in our yard as if it was their own. The actual project took only one week; all the guys on the team paid great attention to detail and focused on perfection. Overall the communication and support were excellent. The putting green is beautiful. It even has curves in the greens to make the game more exciting. Everyone says it looks like real grass. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional looking putting green.

When my wife and I decided to take up the project of replacing our backyard pavers with turf, I got about 8 contractors to come and give a bid to me. I evaluated them on many criteria including: Knowledge of the material, business, installation process, quality of turf, licensing or certified with ASGI, proper insurance cover, customer service, reasonable pricing, good reviews and references, tailoring the project to meet my expectations etc. I rated them all and selected top three for further discussion. CJ from Socal understood my concerns about balancing longevity and softness of turf and proposed a Coronado 100 oz turf with 15 years warranty and also offered ideas for boundary and shape. I was impressed with the service and knowledge and of course the turf quality. As far as the installation process, the crew led by Josh were very professional, arrived every morning exact 7 45 AM, started the work, kept me in constant loop of the ongoing activities and cleaned up everyday after work. The 450 sq ft area project was completed in 3 days straight. The brick boundary and the seams are flawless as one can see in attached pictures. All the guests who have visited us since them were awed by the turf. I would highly recommend SoCal team for your turf projects.

I am very happy with the installation and customer service performed by SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens. CJ and his team where great to work with. His price was very reasonable for the work performed and well inline and better than most quotes I received. The quality of the turf he provided was also better than the other 3 companies I shopped around with. It looks amazing and feels even better, very soft and easy to lay and play on. His team also installed this thing called The Turf Edge which raises the edge of the lawn up slightly. Rather than terminating at the edge of the concrete, it puffs up a bit a looks really good, makes it look a bit more realistic. Im very happy with it. He was very quick to respond to my questions (the million of them I had) and he gave a very detailed outline of the work to be completed and how his company does business. He and his crew where always on time and finished the project on time (actually just a tad a bit of schedule). There was some things that needed to be finished up after the work was completed and his team took care of all those items before final payment was approved. I highly recommend giving them a call and I would definitely hire again for future artificial turf projects.

SoCal installed my lawn several months ago. After my contractor that was building a new fence did some damage to the lawn, they came out and repaired it and made it look even better than before the fence project started. The customer service is first class and the attention to detail and care of property was first class as well. The repair project was a little difficult because it was right next to my pool, but the workers were very conscientious and kept the yard and pool clean of debris. Five star service.

What a fantastic experience all around! Before calling CJ for an estimate, I did my homework on the company and brushed up on what I needed to know about synthetic putting greens. I learned about all the possible pitfalls from poor installation to issues with melting; however, CJ’s website and the testimonials from past clients reflected a company that prides itself on quality and professionalism combined with responsible installation.When CJ arrived for an estimate, I was immediately impressed with his vast knowledge of the complexities of synthetic lawns…especially putting greens. He focused on details such as the lay of the grass for both chipping and putting, the optimum cup placement to maximize the space we had, and creating the best topography for the desired break on each individual hole. He also provided many hardscape options for the patio and small planter we wanted to install. He noted the windows closest to the greens and was concerned about possible melting due to window reflection. Fortunately, he has experience in working with several solutions, and the best solution was also the easiest and least expensive—installing full screens on all the windows in question (Torpin Screen Company).Expecting a hefty estimate based on this level of expertise and attention to detail, we were surprised with his fair and competitive quote.We continued to be impressed as the work began. CJ’s employees were professional, respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We were especially impressed with how clean and organized they left the area at the end of each work day. They obviously took pride in their work and often went above and beyond what they were expected to do. Several times, CJ himself came to check in on the project to ensure that our needs were being met. Most impressively, the work was completed in fewer days than estimated.The end product? Absolutely stunning! I feel like I’m at a vacation resort every time I step into my back yard. The pavers are lovely, the garden wall is perfect, and the putting green runs the entire length of our yard (happy hubby!). 100% I would recommend Socal Synthetic Lawns! A few days ago they finished installing new pet turf in our backyard after new pool construction. We are so so happy with the results and thrilled we decided to go with them. We know where the seams are ONLY because we saw where they put them, but no way will anyone be able to tell! The seams, beautiful raised edging, their service, and end-product is spot on. Edgar and the other two crew members with him did an impeccable job with great attention to detail. Update: its been nearly a year since we had our turf and pavers installed. Were really disappointed that SoCal Synthetic didnt recommend sealing the pavers. In retrospect, it was a huge mistake skipping that step. A number of our pavers look pretty awful from normal wear & tear, including an outside umbrella base. All the cleaning suggestions didnt work for us. Please make sure you are adamant about getting your pavers sealed so that youre not as disappointed as we are after such a large investment.We had an excellent experience with SoCal Synthetics. Theyre an incredibly friendly team, competitive on price and stand behind their work. Whenever we pointed something out that bothered us they replaced it without a problem. We strongly recommend working with them!

Edgar and his team showed up on schedule, even a bit early.They removed an unsightly bump which would have made the turf buckle and retain water in the low spots. The old grass was removed and promptly hauled away. They manicured and compacted each level until an ideal shape was achieved.One roll of turf, 62 feet long was laid as a single piece. That is mighty impressive.We chose two curbs. One positioned around our front landscaping which was beautifully curved. The second was a long straight one along our property line. Both were professionally installed, exquisite and a delight to behold.The entire team worked meticulously to ensure that the final finish was perfect in every detail.Numerous passersby gave compliments while the installation was in progress and especially after completion. Our nine year old grandson said that it looks like a completely new house. My wife and I are delighted with the project outcome. We most highly recommend SoCal to install artificial turf in place of your existing lawn.

They completed over 1500 sq ft of new turf in my front and back yard, extended an existing retaining wall and completed a new 85’ retaining wall. I am really disappointed to be writing this review. I spent $10,000 for artificial turf to be installed in my backyard and was initially so excited. The product looks beautiful and was installed quickly. However, the turf doesn’t at all fulfill the two important needs I had for turf and I’ve been left feeling very deceived by Socal Greens regarding their product.I chose this company based on their positive reviews as I was moving cross country and needed a company I could trust without being there in person. During my conversations with Socal Greens I let them know that I needed a safe, comfortable product for my baby to crawl on and for my dogs to use. I went with their recommendations and was happy with their communication and installation.When I moved in the turf immediately became so hot in the sun that it was unwalkable. My dogs burned their paws on it, requiring vet visits. My baby cannot use the backyard at all without risks of burns as he attempts to crawl on the turf. Socal Greens recommended that I spray water continuously over the area to reduce the temperature to be able to use it.I also asked Socal Greens for a product considered “dog turf” and whether it would stand up to occasional urine during the work days when they couldn’t go for longer walks outside. They recommended the same product with a special antimicrobial fill. Unfortunately, even with only the occasional pee, the smell is horrendous. I contacted the company and they strongly recommended a peroxide cleaning product. The product reduces the smell moderately for 1-2 days and costs >$50 per use. I can no longer open the windows into the backyard without the smell filling my house. I cannot entertain or have friends over due to the horrible smell. When asked about whether there is a problem with the infill Socal Greens stated that I should just not allow the dogs to go on the turf ever or their would be a smell….My backyard is now completely unusable. This is the single most expensive mistake I have ever made. I contacted the company to at least refund enough of the cost to let me remove the product. Their response was only for me to spend more money to figure out how to block out the sun in my backyard or to pay them more money to come and remove it.I recommend working with a company that will be honest with you from the start about the products they sell and whether they will actually be well suited to their intended use. Socal greens clearly cared more about cashing the check than selecting the right product, or admitting that their turf was just not a good solution for my home.

This company removed our concrete walkway and front step. They replaced this with pavers and rebuilt the front step. They also installed high quality artificial turf. The work was fabulous and the workers came every day with the exception of one rainy day. There was great communication between us and the workers and company management. Oswaldo and his guys were super easy to deal with and clearly take pride in their work. They cleaned up very well at the end of each day. We could not be happier with the result. We met CJ the owner of SoCal at the Del Mar Home and Garden Show this spring and we were immediately drawn to The Turf Edge product of synthetic lawn. We did not want the putting green effect that often comes with large expanses of turf. He came to our home in Alpine and we discussed our wish list for our front yard. He gave us a quote that included not just the turf but retaining walls and a great design for an island. We were very pleased with the price and basically called him the next day...we were confident he was our contractor.We were very impressed with Josh and the crew. Josh gave us some additional design ideas especially in the area of palm trees and plants. The crew was friendly and efficient and cleaned up the area when they left in the afternoons. After attending the Home and Garden show in Del Mar we decided to have a putting green installed in our back yard. We had a few companies come to give us quotes. SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens wasnt the least expensive, however they seemed to be the most thorough. After talking to CJ and hearing his suggestions the project grew into pavers, and gravel installation as well. I recently had synthetic truf installed in my front yard and couldnt be more pleased with the results. Ive received several compliments from my neighbors on how nice it looks. I had a few companies out to bid on the job and was most impressed with SoCal. Not really knowing much about the process or product they were extremely informative and no pressure. SoCal just finished installing turf on my front lawn and also removing and installing a new walkway made of pavers. You have to see this turf - it is far superior to the normal turf you see out there and the way they install it (including the edge) makes it look incredible. What a great experience. We purchased our home about a year ago and soon realized that most of the green in our lawn was crabgrass and weed. Several neighbors have synthetic turf so we decided to check it out.SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens came recommended and when we met with CJ, the company owner, he provided important information on the products, the process, and his company. We signed up and he gave us an approximate start date about a month away.When the HOA wanted to see a sample of the product, CJ was quick to bring one to my house, allowing me to meet the HOA deadline and get approval before the job started. They began work within a few days of the original estimate and finished early, even with a small rain delay.During the project the on-site people were careful of our property and cleaned up after themselves each night before leaving. They asked if we wanted small mounds beneath the turf to help with drainage and appearance, something I had not considered, but something that really improved the final look.Included in the job was a small dry creek bed running through the lawn. They used an attractive river rock and included a few larger rocks to enhance the natural appearance.We are very pleased with the final results and have gotten a number of very favorable comments from friends and neighbors. I would definitely recommend SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens.

They stand behind their products and work. Had an issue with the turf which was a mfgr problem. They worked with mfgr to get it replaced under warranty & SoCal Synthetic Lawn did the install again! Then, 1 year later the summer heat caused some wrinkles in the turf and SoCal Synthetic Lawn came out again to put more sand in it and power brush the entire lawn. And everyone from SoCal Synthetic Lawn have been very kind and professional. From the crew on up to CJ. They were all willing to answer my questions.

Final product turned out much better than expected. Looks very natural and met all of our needs. We did have an issue with a drain that was installed improperly, resulting in water not draining correctly. CJ came out and fixed the problem right away with the help of Josh, repairing the drain issue; now it works as good as new!
