Just took a test drive to have the engine drop out on my while in drive. Check engine light came on as well. They acted like they had no idea that would happen, LOL. Go somewhere else

These are very dishonest people. Stay away! I bought a 2014 Tesla. They lied to me about free supercharging, they claimed to fix what I saw to be a leaky sunroof before purchase only to have my car flooded during the first rain, my headlights don’t work, and lastly I had to replace the motor ($7,000) 30 days after purchasing the car. They took zero responsibility and won’t even respond to me. I also had to spend 1k fixing the leak that they agreed to fix in the first place.

Just went here last week. Andrey sold us a car with multiple parking tickets and expired registration. Now theres a whole battle going on between our bank and this business. And we cannot register this car because of this. Suddenly they cant pick up the phone. Honestly not worth the hassle.

After reading all these terrible reviews on Yelp I still decided to come over to this dealer to check out 2014 Toyota Prius. Surprisingly, the car was in very clean condition. I mean the car was very clean, no dents, nice interior etc. I took it for test drive and everything seemed great! I could not believe it so I decided to take this car for pre-purchase inspection, where everything checked out fine, just a couple things here and there needed attention (which I believe is reasonable for used car with miles) Overall, the car was fine and mechanic said that he would buy it if he would be me. I pulled the trigger and I love it! Thanks Andrey and Ivan for your help, I could not be happier!!!

Absolute worst experience buying a car. I bought a 2016 VW Tiguan from them about 2 months back and the car has been nothing but a lemon. They had supposedly done an oil change before I picked up the car. The first day driving it home, the oil sensor light comes on! So I call them and they tell me to take it to their mechanic. He supposedly changed the sensor and lo and behold, two weeks later, same issue. Next the right headlamp were not working. Again took it to their mechanic. Light worked for a week or so and went out again. They have horrible communication when you try to contact them. I became so frustrated I finally took it to my own mechanic. When he looked over the vehicle, the oil in the engine was like mud. THERE IS NO WAY THEY HAD CHANGED TO OIL. The car has an oil leak which needs to be fixed too. So far, above the price I paid for the car, I doled out over $1500 in basic repairs. My warning to anyone going here is beware. If I could rate them a negative, I would.

Sadly, the negative reviews are accurate. I was holding out hope that this dealer was a good one, but unfortunately they are running a scam like many others. I try to have an objective point of view on this, but I went to see a car that clearly was not the same as advertised online. Not only were the two dealers late to the appointment (I had to wait outside) but they had to jump start the car once I got there. I’ve had an appointment for days, and they couldn’t even make it LOOK like the battery worked before I got there. The A/C in the car did not work, and even though they told me a dealer had been driving it for months, it clearly had not been driven in ages. When I asked the same questions to both salesmen, they gave me different answers. When I called them out for lying, they were just silent, and didn’t even deny it. Don’t let them try to convince you that they “don’t negotiate” because they are just not that kind of dealer. Like I said, I try to be objective here, but the only positive takeaway is that they’re tone of voice was not rude. Please save yourself time, and just go to a different dealer, there’s plenty of cars out there.

Had a pleasant experience with my auto purchase today. No pressure sales tactics here and actually Georgiy (my salesman) informed theyre not paid by commission. He invited me to review the car handed me the keys told me to go ahead and check it out turn it on look it over, he also told me I can take my time. Price as advertised did not change as you see with other dealers when you want to finance. Vehicles was was described online. Test drove it and was able to finance a older vehicle. Happy with the purchase so far. Will update if major issues pop up with my vehicle.

On 7/14/20, I paid $8800 cash for a like new 2014 jeep compass latitude 2WD including tax and registration. I take it to a mechanic 3 days later and rear struts need replacement, several check engine lights stored, engine mounts replacement, serpentine belt, etc ($3000+). It also has a few odd electrical things going on, not even worrying about the cost on fixing that. I tried to contact Tom, who sold it to me, but he said that they wont do anything, refused to let me return it. He wouldnt even consider helping to repair the issues that the mechanic had discovered- 3 days after purchase. He told me that its my problem now.I ended up overpaying. The transmission doesnt seem to be doing all that great (a few months later), also the passenger side headlight has gone out twice now. I had to pull off the highway due to engine overheating. Had the coolant flushed and that issue resolved- this is within 1000 miles mind you. Brakes needed replacing after a couple thousand miles. Ive already paid over $1000 on repairs (all I can afford at this point). I might try selling for 6000 at this point and chalk it up to being too trusting. I told Tom specifically that I am doing God work, too- and he still had no problem doing this. On the plus side, the car is still running, and has a nice exterior and interior.Things I would do differently:1. Pay a mechanic to meet at the car dealership before purchase to inspect. Dont use any mechanic nearby / right next door.2. Purchase 2 day state insurance (even though theres restrictions and it probably doesnt work.)

Wow! What can I say besides Denis and Demetri are magnificent. Very professional, easy to work with and most of all, so polite and accommodating. I have bought many, many cars and have met all kinds of people. These guys are great. They took the car to my local Lexus dealership so I could have it inspected before purchase. When the inspection was completed they allowed me to pick it up and drive it to them so I could purchase it. This saved me having to worry about picking up my other car. They gave me a solid deal and offered support on future maintenance and warranty repairs. They had the CarFax and were happy to show me the facts. It is rare that you find people like these men in a sales business. No pressure, took time to answer all of my questions and no hidden agenda. I will buy again from these two guys any day. Really tried to buy a vehicle from this place. They text instead of actually answer the phone and seemed surprised when I said I wanted to buy. Also I’m from out of town and wanted to get a yes or a no on coming out to see vehicle. They didn’t reply. Left multiple text messages and emails. I was going to fly? Then started driving before I got on here and started reviewing other people’s reviews. I normally don’t drop a dime in California. So this was a blessing. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

STAY AWAY!!! I Called and spoke with Tom on a Sunday. He informed me I would need to get pre approved before I could come test drive the car. I do so and he ignored my calls/text for 5 days. He then notified me that I was declined for the loan. I asked for him to send me documentation to my email, in which he said the bank would send it to me. I did my own research and contacted the bank. The bank informed me I was approved for the loan. I then sent the screenshot to Tom. He has still yet to reply to my text. Don’t waste your time because that’s something they love to do.

Very disappointed on how they handled selling us a car that had tire pop and no longer hold tire pressure all because the wheel was welded in 3 spots to badly patch up break of wheel. Literally did not have the car more than 24hrs when tire failed. Response to us when we brought car back so they could see what had happened was very unintres and they said they dont repair cars there they sell them as is and nothing they can do. Even though when purchase of vehicle they say yes we inspect the cars and its a great car and buy. On return its all about its as is and we got the warranty so we can go through them. They inspect very lightly so they did not know any thing about wheel but that the car has a real for some other problem and that we should look into that. Why could he not say that a few days ago when we considered the purchase originally. Not trustworthy beware if you purchase from here

I bought my beautiful 2017 LincolnMKZ Hybrid from them back in May of this year (2020) and it was Tom I dealt with. Have to say that he made the entire transaction so easy, even although we were only a few months into lockdown here in LA. He was so nice to have found insurance for me too, as I didn’t think that I would be driving off that very day in my 2017 very flashy black LincolnMKZ. I highly recommend anyone to go and check out their inventory as they seem to always have a nice turn over of vehicles. He was very honest that although the car had high mileage 110K for a 2017, it was because it had been a Limousine. Also, I had previously owned the exact same car previously, it had been stolen and I was pretty sure that I wanted another LincolnMKZ, it was just the price of those cars were expensive, but because this car had high mileage, I got that deal on it. It also made it easier for Tom since he didn’t have to show me how to drive a hybrid as I’m sure some people would freak out when the engine cuts out to the battery etc. I give SoCal Auto 5/5 and the same goes for the service with Tom 5/5 plus. I’d definitely go to them first to look for a car for sure. Paula

Tried to purchase a vehicle from this dealership from across the country. Response times were slow, which isnt that big of a deal by itself. The end result however, was not great.I scheduled a PPI with a local shop after some back and forth with Tom at SoCal. I tried to get a purchase agreement in place and place a deposit on the vehicle, but was told they dont take deposits. They said they would hold the vehicle once I had a plane ticket showing I was a serious buyer. Before the PPI was complete, I booked a non-refundable flight to hold the vehicle, but just over an hour before the inspection was to be completed, I received a call from Georgie (who is only there one day a week) saying that the vehicle was being sold at that moment. So here I am with a useless one-way ticket to LAX, and some serious contempt for the shady dealings of this dealership.Do yourself a favor, and shop anywhere but this circus tent of a dealership. Or, if you are set on a vehicle on this lot, just know that you are going to be dealing with a bunch of clowns.

Im writing this review approximately 16 months after my date of purchase which was in September of 2017. I bought a 2011 Volvo XC60 with 103k miles on it. My correspondence started with Tom through a CarGurus ad I found with the vehicle at a decent price. At the time I lived just down the street from the dealership but I would have driven up to 100 miles and the best deal was at Socal Auto Group. Now, this was my first Luxury brand vehicle, used, with over 100k on it. All things that should be taken into account when buying used. I paid approx. $10k for a vehicle that was 6 years old that MSRPd for around $36k.Let me say that the car was not perfect in its first year. Here is what happened, and I believe Socal Auto was unaware of these issues so they are not to blame. First thing that came up was a rear taillight out. No big deal, then the A/C started intermittently working, we survived a summer in LA like this, I found that if I turned the vehicle on and off again that sometimes the compressor would kick on and then work, in the last 16 months Ive replaced, the tail light ($20), a head light (I did both $40), the battery which was 4 years old (standard replacement length, about $150), and then the doozy, the AC compressor ($1,000).I now am about 16 months in and have 15k miles into the vehicle, and about $1250 in irregular maintenance. A few oil changes and some car washes. Besides the AC compressor, the vehicle has been pretty nice and weird stuff like that is what should be expected when buying a vehicle with 100k miles.Socal Auto Group and Tom, were great to deal with. I already knew what I wanted and did my research before I got there. They didnt try to sell me, I said I was there for the XC60 I saw on CarGurus for $10k, I test drove it (I brought my own OBD Scan tool to see if there were any pending codes pulled on it and there were none), so I bought it. It was a second car loan I was taking on and my credit wasnt great. Tom got me approved for financing through a sketchy lender for a high rate. I got the car, made 2 payments, then refinanced through Los Angeles Federal Credit Union for a decent rate and switched over after less than 3 months.Overall - The car is like a 7.5-8/10, the dealership is like a 9/10. Thats 5 stars in my book. Id do business again.

Third party dealerships are always an interesting proposition, the service is hit or miss most of the time, luckily that wasnt the case here. Vadim, and Dmitry are very nice and helpful. It doesnt hurt that after they copy your license they toss you the keys to take a car out for a test drive without being pushy after. When the right model Tesla arrives I will keep any eye out to purchase from these guys.

Everyone knows the negative feelings that come up when dealing with a dreadful financial tail end of a wonderful car purchase... Many years ago, I experienced the feeling of being ripped off by a dealership and have learned that people with a certain amount of power may try to take advantage of your naivety.With this new auto purchase (2015 Chevy Cruze) from SoCal Auto Group, I caught a problem that the loan agency had sneakily made in an attempt to take an extra 1000 bucks from me. Tom helped me catch it and I am in the works of resolving it with the loan agency.It is a great feeling to know that someone has your back and was honest and upfront -not pushy- around extra services and hidden fees. This sense of security is what youll find at SoCal Auto Group.

BEWARE!!!These guys sold me an Audi A5 and the Oil light came on 2 days later due to a Piston Issue! ( approx. $4000 to fix! ) On top of that, when we negotiated price and after walking into the office to do the paperwork, he forced me to pay $2500 of it in cash so he can EVADE TAXES! After bringing the car back I mentioned the payment of $2500 in cash and he said, I dont know what you are talking about. These guys are the sleaziest !!!! Dont buy from them !

Bout a f250 from the car lot on 10/7/2020 and had to bring it back on 10/8/2020 due to check engine light and the cost to get it fixed is $7000 and we paid 19000 and he put on the paper work we paid 12500 because he didn’t want to pay taxes and he said not my problem do we are currently on are way to the court house for selling use a lemon I recommend everyone to do everything the legal way
