I recently went to this place for their happy hour, and I was pleased to find a wide variety of food on their happy hour menu. The service was good, and a big plus for me was that they are dog-friendly. The outdoor seating area is spacious and has a relaxing ambiance. The waiter was friendly and even offered my dog a bowl of water. I definitely plan to come back and would recommend this place to others.

Plenty of great choices, they even have a vegetarian menu. Staff are fast, and friendly, they even let us store a cake in their freezer for a birthday occasion.Decor was somewhat lacking, but does not get in the way of having a great lunch

Beautiful restaurant right on the water, great food and service, indoor/outdoor dining optional, private party areas as well, we celebrated my daughters birthday here and had a private room by the water which was really nice and felt intimate for our little family of 5, they even gave her a complimentary ice cream cake on the house for her birthday, plenty of parking, plenty of seating areas, nice to go for a walk right outside after on the dock where the boats are with beautiful view of the water as a backdrop for photos, we even got a really picture outside with the sunset which was such a perfect way to end our celebration.

One of the best rib eye I’ve ever had. Tenderloin tips diablo was full of flavor—my favorite. Server, Sabrina was awesome. Peach cocktail is a new favorite.On another trip: i got to try their tomahawk, pretty fancy. My guy had shrimp tacos&enjoyed it.Everything I’ve tried were good. No disappointment.Returned for lunch. This was our first time at Smith’s Landing Seafood Grill in Antioch overlooking the Bay Delta. It was nice to enjoy our dinner while watching the boats pass by.Our food and drinks were very good. The highlight was Roberto our server, who was friendly, engaging and had a fun sense of humor.Also, thanks to the staff for surprising me with a birthday dessert, yummy and fun…thank you!Can’t wait to return again soon, thank you Roberto for making our dinner such a special event.

Had a late valentines day dinner with my wife here just now. A little bit on the pricey side, but, it was worth it. We tried some of their wine and other alcoholic drinks. The wine was really good and they have a diverse selection. I only had the opportunity to try two drinks, a long Island and a daiquiri. The daiquiri was good and had a pineapple aftertaste, while the long Island was a bit on the less-sweet-than-usual side.My wife has a Surf and Turf with a filet mignon and lobster. I has the pork tomahawk. Both were really good and the portion size was decent. We had a nice view of the water where we were sitting so the atmosphere was nice. The servers were also really attentive and the bussers were on top of cleaning. Great all around!

We tried to go to another restaurant in downtown Antioch but they had a 45 minute wait for a party of 2 (my husband and I) so we headed to Smiths Landing on a whim, and I am SO happy that we did. Our server, Audrey, was absolutely the perfect amount of helpful, sweet and attentive without hovering or coming by too often. We enjoyed the bread that came with 3 types of butter, shared the Crab Tower, my husband had the Shrimp Stroganoff and I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and everything was divine. I enjoyed a drink (Summers Day? Something along those lines) and my husband got a Mule, and both were really good. The icing on the cake was when Audrey heard I was celebrating an upcoming birthday, she brought out this gigantic Sunday, complete with chocolate dipped cone, m&ms, whipped cream and a lit candle. Truly blown away by the hospitality and the food. We will absolutely be back.

I went in last night to escape the heat and have a nice meal. I ordered Crab Louie and Grilled Lamb Chops.The crab was ok, not exactly fresh, juicy or sweet, but the salad was good. It was enjoyable.When the lamb chops arrived, they were really well done, instead of medium rare as requested. Apparently the manager had to authorize a replacement dish, as I watched the conversation. However, the replacement was delicious, as well as the sides.Might return tonight for the pan seared scallops. Definitely recommend

Wow! The view at Dinner matches the quality of the food served. As I am here for work, my wife and I tried this restaurant the first night. There were so many tasty options on the menu, we came back a second and third night. Each night did not disappoint. Happy Hour drink prices from 4-6pm reflected a 50% savings and the salted caramel martini was our favorite. I highly recommend this place. Being from Louisiana, I love seafood. The seafood and CAB Ribeye were both delicious!!

I had the best lunch from beginning to end.We ordered drinks which were on Happy Hour. All of them were so good. Then we ordered the Fried Calamari and the Crab tower. Both were really good. I think the crab tower just needed a bit of salt.For my meal, I ordered the stuffed salmon. Wow thats all I have to say. I will definitely order that again next time... They had a live band playing music in the background. Just loud enough to enjoy it and still have a conversation. I had s blDt, will definitely be back.

This place has outside seating with covering at the marina where I was seated by request. Only issue I had was the carrot cake which was gummy. I happened to go on a Wednesday which was Wine Wednesday, you get a bottle of wine for the price of a glass which you get to take home if you dont finish it. Im not sure if its just during happy hour which ends at 6pm. This was my second time eating here and will go back.

My friend and I were out for our normal Sunday brunch/lunch. We like to try new restaurants as well as revisit some of our favorites. Shes been here many times, I had not been. We both adore seafood so this was hopefully going to be a treat for us. We ordered the shrimp and crab lumpia. It was delicious. She ordered the scallops and I ordered the wedge salad with prawns. THE FOOD, ATMOSPHERE AND LIVE MUSIC was delightful. I wouldve given 5 🌟... But our server failed to offer any happy hour food or drinks. Nor did she offer or bring over the complimentary bread. While only asking just once How is Everything she whizzed by our table many times, without checking to see if we needed anything. After paying for our meals, she FLASHED BY, Grabbing the slips and tip on the table. She never once said THANK YOU FOR COMING IN. As a fine dining restaurant with $$$-$$$$ I wouldve expected proper restaurant etiquette. Never take the check and tip while your customers are still seated, unless its handed to you. She was knowledgeable about the menu and did have the best smile among all the workers there today. The Pork Chop was tasteless as it didnt have any seasonings except the panko crust dressed so deliciously in the gravy sauce.... YES SIR THAT SAUCE WAS GOOD. The Raspberry Lemon Drop had a quarter wedged of lemon drop in it, which means I was cheated on my cocktail. I will return and try something else, but I do hope the training staff reads this to better service the customers that are expecting better then what I was provided.

I love, love this place. It is the perfect place for a romantic evening or a celebration of anything. The food is 10 out of 10 recommend and the staff are super sweet and knowledge. The view is spectacular as it sits on the water and at sunset is gorgeous.A little.on the higher price end, but you will see it is worth every hard-earned penny.

We had a birthday celebration with 12 people. We were seated in a room with a view of the water, which was very nice. We had the Sunday Brunch Menue. The food came promptly, and everyone enjoyed their choice. The waiter that we had was excellent, which made the celebration even better. Would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I wanted to eat somewhere nice by the water. We saw this place on the map and came to check it out.We ordered the Tenderloin Tips Diablo (Amazingly above expectations!) Crab & Shrimp Lumpia (more vegetables in them than I was hoping for) Wedge Of Iceberg Salad, Pan-Seared Scallops, the Baby Back Beer Ribs, and some drinks. For the most part everything was tender and delicious. Even the bread includes 3 flavors of butter to sample, which I havent seen done anywhere else really.Pretty much any window you sit at has a scenic view to enjoy your meal with.There was even a live music performer during out visit.The place is very pricy, but thats to be expected as the food is on the higher quality end.

Great views and good service!The fish and chips were hot and crispy; I would get them again. The sole poboy my coworker got had a good couple tasty pieces of crispy fish but the white bread hoagie it was served on offers a bit too much bread while the tomatoes and shredded lettuce were not very flavorful and only added more mass to the bulky sandwich. The aoli was good and the fries were cooked nicely.You really cant beat the view off the bar. Great place to come in and grab a drink and a bite.

Big Ol Tomahawk Steak need I say anything else .. Newest visit 6/4/2024 This Time when I ordered the surf & turf the lobster was really over cooked it was extremely rubbery wasnt a fan of the butter either & The sauce on the steak I thought it was supposed to come on the side . A good steak should never have sauce on it . The potatoes were awesomely tasty an the asparagus was cooked to a nice crispy crunch I wasnt impressed with my meal this time for as much that was charged for this meal it should have been cooked to perfection !

Had a luncheon of 5 ladies and a toddler at Smiths Landing in Antioch. So beautiful to look out on the Marina! Our server was Marco and he was so TERRIFIC!! He was very friendly and quick with suggestions and advice in our ordering. Plus, we sat outside and it got quite warm so we kept him busy for additional water! Also, I had a lengthy to go order along with all of our individual orders and except for a little confusion on a couple of the bills (which he quickly fixed), he did a GREAT job!!

The food and service(Deon) were impeccable. This restaurant was halfway but pretty far from both us and the friend we were meeting. It was definitely worth the drive as the ambiance was great. They raised the shades for us after the sun was setting so we had a full view of the sunset and marina. It was great that there was plenty of free parking as well. Definitely will make a return visit.

Its a nice place with a good view. I really dont have any complaints about the service, but the food was, sadly, forgettable. I didnt hate it, or even really dislike it, but I certainly walked away thinking I usually enjoy less expensive food more than this (not that it was exorbitant). Great atmosphere with a nice, calming view of the water and the service was excellent. I have the lamb chops and I swapped out the mashed potatoes for the au gratin potatoes! Best decision ever! Everything was cooked to perfection. My friend had the filet mignon, which was to die for! I will definitely be going back and trying some of the other dishes on the menu!

The server and staff was kind and helpful. The lighting was too bright to enjoy the view. I found the Cajun crab dip to be a bit salty as well as the mashed potatoes. I had the crusted cod fish, the mango salsa was amazing, but it should be paired with a higher quality fish. The cod appeared to be undercooked, I chose not to have it corrected as I didnt like the fish. Ciopinno was also ordered and that was very good.

This place is great!! My family and I dined here for the first time a couple days ago and its now one of my favorite seafood restaurants. You know its a great restaurant if you dont take home a doggy bag.I had the shrimp tacos and I highly recommend them. My husband had the halibut with crab risotto which he said he really liked. Of course, I took a bite and really liked it. The halibut was lightly seasoned and not over baked. My daughter had the soft shelled crab sandwich which is one of Smiths Landings specialties. I didnt expect to see a whole soft shelled crab on an open faced sandwich, but there is was. She did not complain as she ate the whole thing.Smiths Landing was not very crowded and the staff were very nice and attentive. It was a little to breezy for me, so we sat inside with a view of the river. I definitely want to go back and eat outside on their patio.Overall, it was a relaxing dinner with great food that was not expensive. Which means we will go to Smiths Landing whenever we have a seafood craving. I cant wait to try out other items on their menu.(Sorry for the pictures of half eaten food, but we were really eager to try out the food.)

It is located right on the river. The view of the sunset here over the water is spectacular. It comes with great service. Our server made frequent and timely check-ins. Very generous servings. The food was wonderful! One of the best clam chowder soups Ive had.The service was attentive and wearing masks, there was hand sanitizer at the entrance. Menu was paper. At the time, the service was outdoors only but the extensive patio and deck makes it feel very comfortable eating outdoors. There is a nice view of the marina visible as well.Attached are pictures of the crab tower, ribeye steak, and scallops dishes. All the food was very enjoyable.

This was my first time here with two friends and my dog in tow. I just have to say our server Kiana made the experience 100% ! Our little party tried another place that claimed to be dog friendly but was not at all, so we came sorta bummed about that previous place and experience with their staff. Just got to say Kiana turned our disappointment around very quickly with kindness and sincerity! And we were so glad we ended up there and with her fantastic service. We were very excited to find out that they can make a fresh plate of food and bring fresh water bowl for my doggie! This experience was like WOW! I went to Smiths Landing Seafood Grill during Happy Hour with a friend. It is located off the waterfront. The place was packed out! We found the last table at the front of the restaurant where they were offering live entertainment. While the singer was good, it was a bit too loud for us to hear each other talking. Nonetheless, our server brought out our drinks and bread and butter. We ordered the Cajun Crab Dip (crab, mozzarella, cream cheese & cajun seasoning) served with wonton chips; Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips; Salmon Sliders (Havarti cheese, shredded lettuce & Sambal aioli). Served with french fries.The crab dip was excellent! A nice balance of all components. The wontons were a perfect addition 👌🏽 We enjoyed the rest of the food as well. The next time we go, we will try to sit a little further away from the music and near a window to catch the scenery off the water.

The two wonderful ladies at the bar were supplying drinks for the entire restaurant and taking food orders for the customers at the bar. With all that was going on the meal and service was very good. They have a different take on a couple items we ordered. The fried Calamari is actually made like cheese sticks but is a solid piece of Calamari and they have Lumpia that looks more like an egg roll, hey dont get me wrong because they were both tasty. I dont want to forget the serenity of the view, simply amazing.

We celebrated a friends birthday last night with a party of 12. We all thoroughly enjoyed all of the appetizers: panko prawns, crab tower, fried calamari and tenderloin tips diablo, all delicious! I personally ordered the fish tacos which did not disappoint. Our waiter Larry did a fantastic job with our drink orders. Plus they had great live music which called for dancing, of course, a great addition to the celebration. All in all, it was a blast!!

Absolutely loved this place! It was our first time here... the service was fabulous! We had the Calamari for appetizers, which were fresh and cooked perfectly! I had the Alaskan Fish and Chips, again, cooked to perfection and loved the fries, seasoned well! My brother had the Filet Mignon, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Our server recommended the Pumpkin Cheesecake... omg, it was Christmas in my mouth! Also their cocktails were spot on! They were well balanced and delicious! Highly recommend! We will be back!

To put it succinctly, this is basically the Dollar Store version of Skates by the Bay.The cajun crab dip is very salty and lacks any crab flavor.The fish and chips were well cooked, but bland. The house-made tartar sauce was mostly mayonnaise.The inside of the restaurant feels cavernous and drafty.The sign outside the restaurant is covered in mold or dirt ... It just looks bad.Service was good and our server was kind and attentive. No complaints there.Based on the great reviews and waterfront location I had high expectations, but ultimately I was underwhelmed.

Exceeded All Expectations! My wife and I made an early dinner reservation on Saturday to try out the long awaited new seafood restaurant in Antioch.After reading some of the mixed reviews I wasnt sure what to expect. Bottom line, I would recommend Smiths Landing to anyone that is looking for good seafood and drinks, without having to drive over Kirker Pass.We started our meal with adult beverages, my wife had the Rasberry Lemondrop and I had a Martini straight up very dry with Boodles Gin. Both were excellent and my hat goes off to the bartender, cuz Ive had my share of below par Martinis.While waiting for our meals a sliced roll of fresh bread with 3 butters, (Roasted tomato, regular and pesto) was served. My favorite butter was the pesto, but regardless, the bread definitely gets a thumbs up from a confirmed carbaholic.Continuing with the carb/bread-glutton theme - for appetizer, we decided on the crab and artichoke dip with parmesan cheese toast. This had to be one of my favorite appetizer. I remember it being called humphreys a long time ago. The menu was great, with a lot of delicious options. Few things to know when planning to come here:1. Do NOT come during any holiday wknd celebration. The noise level is out of control. First off it is not the Restaurant fault I think that there is so many bums and homeless encampments in the parking lot because that really throws people off when entering. The city really needs to do something about the homeless problem that is spreading throughout Contra Costa County. The harassment that you have to endure sometimes when entering this establishment is brazen they have no shame or courtesy. The place upon entering was very clean it really felt good to finally enter a place where you are not treated any different from a white person or someone of color because there are establishments surrounding this area that due that are very close. Our server was great black gentlemen with the walk outstanding service very approachable and great conversationist. We are surely going to make this a weekly outing for me and my wife outing. The food was also great we initially just wanted to try it out but we tried a little bit of everything from the calamari, friend prawns, burgers and salmon. The menu is easy to read very organized and neat. The sunset backdrop over the water front is amazing experience. Disappointed in my last visit. I have had only really good experiences here except for one of the hostesses who refused to seat me since I was dining singlely. Our reserved table was not ready. The overall experience was wonderful for a Sunday morning brunch. If you are in need for an inclusive morning brunch, which includes unlimited Mimosas and other drinks this is your place. The 3 course brunch includes an appetizer, main meal, and a dessert. The only thing missing is a live jazz band to fill the acoustics of the room. The view of the Delta was amazing. If you felt adventurous then they were limited outdoor seating. The wait staff was amazing they kept your glasses 🥂 filled on cue.

Went there for our wedding anniversary and had the snapper special. That, along with a lovely bottle of wine and the calamari appetizer, it made for a delightful dinner! The snapper was excellent! Even though they were aware from us both saying something when we arrived, and when I made the reservations, they could have earned that fifth star had they acknowledged our anniversary in any positive way! A little disappointed!

Lovely space, beautiful view, welcoming staff and delicious food. Tues. at an early lunch we almost had the place to ourselves. Our waitstaff was attentive, it was quiet enough to catch up with a dear friend and we were surprised with a really fun birthday ice cream dessert at the end.I cannot eat sea food due to allergies, but they have lots of alternatives, and the choices of sea food are extensive.

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times. Out of those 5 times 2 experiences went well. I really do love this restaurant. The way it looks and the location is awesome. I’m a local so it truly is amazing for our downtown water front area. Unfortunately we have had some not so great food. It’s honestly hit or miss with this place and that’s why I keep going because I have hopes for a delicious meal. For the prices it’s just not worth it for me anymore. It’s just been a miss too many times for me now. The waiter we had recently was great and made the experience pleasant. But still paying $150 for our evening with food that just wasn’t very good was a bummer. We don’t get to dine out very often. It’s pretty rare and we definitely don’t usually spend that much but when we do we expect the BEST food! But as I said the waiter was great and the scenery is beautiful. Praying the cooking staff can improve a bit.

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Brandy, the bartender, is absolutely exceptional at her job. Shes very quick and her memorization skills are unmatched. Jose, the manager is also amazing. And Nick Gumas is one of the quickest most thorough bussers I have ever seen. He is constantly on top of everything and is always reaching out to help. 5 stars, I will come back here every time Im in California. Exceptional business.

Situated overlooking the delta waterway the building is designed for a high end restaurant and Smiths Landing delivers! Mom had ciappino and I had the grilled salmon. Both were superb. Wednesday is half price wine night. $40 bottle of Cab. for 20 bucks. Server comped us full dessert for moms birthday. Dinner was a bargain at just over $100 for what we got. Not too busy on a Wednesday night. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Tried to go Monicas. 2 hour wait though we saw plenty of vacant tables. Shot over to Smiths and they sat us right away, Sorry Monica. Smiths was very busy too though nobody standing, everyone at a table. Oysters on point! Had dessert too! Great meal. Happy campers! Id like to see some better craft IPA on tap or even in a can. Excellent upgrade to the venue....I took my parents there to treat them to a brunch and the mimosa really kicked out off.You can pick from the brunch menu or the regular menu...The service and staff were amazing.We all finished our food (normally we take home left over) and the dessert 🍨 was a nice touch.I will say this, we are pretty picky about coffee... and theirs was really good.We had the omelet, scallops, eggs Benedict and steak.We shared a bite and they were all very tasty... perfectly cooked!Thank you Smiths Landing...Oh, AND THE VIEW?BEAUTIFUL!

Decor and service were excellent. Although alittle pricey (albeit, not for this quality of dining), the Rock Cod and Brazilian Seafood Pasta were both generous portions and delicious. Wine corkage fee for a bottle we brought was $15. Reasonable compared to other high-end restaurants. Before dinner (our reservation was for 5 PM) drinks were also reasonable and generous portions. Our table provided a beautiful view of the the Marina boat harbor, adjacent landscaped walking path, and the San Joaquin river, made stunning by a beautiful evening and sunset. All in all, a wonderful birthday celebration with my beautiful wife. Well worth the $$.

Smiths Landing is a fantastic restaurant offering some of the best quinine in east county. That combined with elegant surroundings and a great view of the San Joaquin make for a great choice to enjoy any occasion.Prices are good for the value, and you can choose what level of pricing you want to spend for luxuries like wine or dessert. Service was perfect.The one drawback is difficult parking during peak hours in a mediocre part of town (the Marina near downtown), but that probably wont change until the city of Antioch cleans itself up.

We had about 100 people sitting for training program and had buffet lunch served in second room for us.They have two huge rooms for events or meetings. Beautiful bar with fireplace. Lots of parking. This place has been good to me on every visit! My kids even love coming here because its so nice and has beautiful areas to go for a walk and be right by the water. It will be nice when they open the doc behind the restaurant.imagine all the money you guys would make on phone orders to all the boaters and fisherman, it would be very convenient to be fishing or whatever and call your order in and pull up at the doc..... The food is great the drinks are great and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. Kudos to all the staff @ Smiths landing keep up the good work!

Went here for an event. We were in their party room. The food was delicious and service was great, very attentive waitstaff. The clam chowder was soooo good. I had quite a few cups. I would definitely return.The only issue I have is that we paid for a certain number of people that didnt show and we were not able to take home the food previously paid for.

I ordered the Cioppino and I was very satisfied. Tons of meat, very favorably. Waiter came by our table numerous times, made us feel like we were the most important guest in the restaurant. We definitely be back again. 👍
