Dr Smith and family have been instrumental in my health journey.His son, Paul, is a promising newcomer to the chiropractic field. Despite being new, their passion for wellness and dedication to patient care shines through. With a gentle yet effective approach, Dr. Smith listens attentively to concerns and provides personalized treatments.On a personal note, Ive had multiple surgeries including a full hip replacement, multiple knee and also my neck and a couple of vertebrae in my lower back which included have my a coupe vertebrae fused. Im practically bionic, and Ive been afraid to try chiropractic for years and was kindly forced into coming by my daughters. I can say they are firm and also gentle and I am now walking straighter than I have in years.Their commitment to continuous learning and holistic healing sets them apart. Highly recommended for anyone seeking chiropractic care.

I found Dr. Smith recently when I injured my back pretty bad a few months ago. I was in a ton of pain and nervous to be adjusted but Dr. Smith took such great care of me! He did my X-rays right there on the spot and review them with me, taking time to help me understand what was going on in my neck and spine. Unlike the orthopedic doctor I visited during this injury who told me to stop lifting heavy weights, it was so refreshing to see that Dr. Smith understood my love for lifting, running, cycling and yoga and how I refused to give any of it up! He keeps athletes going! He educates us too! I also love the office vibe. Its super easy to pop in for my appointments. Im super busy so having a place that is so organized and on time is so wonderful. Thanks Dr. Smith and Crew!!! You are rad!

My son recently had a football related injury with both his back and ligament in his collarbone. He was so eager to keep playing yet the pain was excruciating. Luckily we came to see Deke and I have never seen such improvement so fast. Deke and Alicia’s kindness and willingness to help is unmatched and so are the results. My son was able to continue playing sports with practically zero pain and has been thriving ever since. We are so thankful for the Smiths for helping our health, caring so much, and being great human beings.

I started going to Dr. Smith soon after becoming a new dad. The parent life caused several issues in my shoulders and overall health. After some treatments, I can definitely sense a difference in my shoulder pain and energy level. Dr. Smith’s is very flexible with my schedule and he really goes above and beyond with on-site X-ray to document the patients progress. This really helped me understand what exactly we were treating and made the whole experience very transparent. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone who is considering chiropractic help

Always set’s me straight… that’s Dr Smith 😊I have been seeing Dr Smith for over 18 years and so has my son. We are always greeted by either Dr. Smith or his wife Alicia, who is the sweetest… it’s like visiting family.Whenever a part of my body is out of whack or achy, I consult him first for the cause & solution and he has never let me down.From the first time when I was literally crooked and hurting due to starting up horseback riding again to just yesterday when I went in for my routine adjustment and mentioned that my left leg was achy. Immediately Dr Smith asked me some questions, did a few adjustments, and went over some stretches for me to do at home along with some other changes to make in my daily routine at work. I know it may sound funny, but last night was the first night in a few weeks that my leg was not bothering me, and I am happy to say… I did my stretches the morning as suggested.Another comforting thought is that he, as well as I, look to a natural solution when it comes to one’s body and improving better health and mobility.Thanks Dr, Smith

I felt neck pain and hip pain about three years ago and the pains affected my sleep quality. I am so lucky to see Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith is an excellent chiropractor. He is attentive and professional. He takes the time to thoroughly understand my specific needs and develops a personalized treatment plan for me. He also provides exercises and stretches to help me maintain my progress. I have been seeing Dr Smith for the last 12 years after I was having lower back trouble following the birth of our first child, my sister recommended Dr Smith as a possible help and it was a help! I have continued with regular chiropractic care with him through multiple pregnancies and years as the benefits have continued to show themselves. Even though we have to drive farther now than when we first started, we continue with Dr Smith because of the quality of care we have found there.

Without an appointment, I walked into Smith Family Chiropractic office with severe neck pain. I had been in agony for about a week and on heavy pain meds. I am a programmer and work with computers every day. Around three years ago, I started to feel dizzy and neck pain. These symptoms made me hard to focus. I went to see Dr. Smith, who quickly diagnosed the issue and explained why it happened. I recently got injured playing softball and had major pain and numbness in my leg and hip. The pain was excruciating and constant for over a week. I called and quickly was able to get in. After seeing Deke the pain had drastically subsided and felt so much better. It was scary to think that people live with this much pain and don’t get it taken care of. It’s so true if you don’t have your health you don’t have anything. I would highly recommend Deke to anyone! The office is is so friendly and you are greeted with with a smile. I have had chronic upper back, shoulder and neck pain for over 10 years. It got really unbearable in my two years studying at San Jose State. I went to massage therapists for about one year, until finally one of them told me that I wasn’t getting any better and that I should probably see a chiropractor. I have been going to Dr. Smith for almost a year and I am happy to say that I have hardly any of the pain that I used to have. I am also thrilled that I am not getting the same, constant injuries from working out anymore. I have been able to not only maintain, but amp up my fitness routine without any pain or injury. I am so happy I found Dr. Smith. Both he and his wife are extremely kind and friendly. They make going in for an adjustment easy, and very pleasant. I highly recommend this business!

Ive had neck pain for many years and was suffering from headaches, ringing in my ears, blurred vision and edema in my brain. I was referred to Dr. Deken by a close friend and have been receiving adjustments for the past 9 months and now my neck pain has reduced and I no longer have the horrible ailments from subluxation.Dr. Deken and his wife, Alicia, are wonderful to work with when coordinating adjustments and truly have my best interest at heart. After many years of stiffness, this skeptic went and saw Dr. Smith. Within a short time my back and I were converted. With simple painless adjustments, my back and neck started to feel better for the first time in years. No amount of massage or other treatments seemed to make any long lasting difference. If one keeps up a regular schedule, chiropractic does manage your needs. I only wish that my back and neck could make it into Dr. Smith more regularly. I start to notice the change when I do not follow through on my treatments.

Dr. Smith and his family are definitely one of a kind. They treat you as family instead of just another patient walking through the door. Since day one (over a year ago) I have gotten nothing but honest and helpful treatment from Dr. Smith. When I first starting coming to Dr. Smith I had horrible headaches, neck pain, and back/ tailbone pain. I could not lay on my back without having someone roll me to my side to get up. Now I no longer have the headaches and I can lay on my back comfortably and can get up on my own. In the short year I feel like a new person and it has been life changing. Dr. Smiths philosophy is one that I greatly appreciate. He encourages natural means of caring for the body and only recommends surgeries as a last resort. We have consulted him for advise for other means of natural health care, and he has always pointed us to fantastic resources.If you are having health issues or trouble with your spine, I recommend that you visit Dr. Smith. 5+ Stars does not even due Smith Family Chiropractic justice! I started seeing Dr. Smith last year based on a referral from another client. I walked into my first consultation with a full range of issues including my neck, back, wrists, knees, and a few other items. After sitting down to do my first check in a couple months later I was in shock. Everything I had written down on my initial client intake form was no longer an issue. I had battled with migraines medication could not fix, wrist pain/knee pain because I type/walk all day at work, and sever menstrual pains during my cycles. All the the items I came in complaining about has gone away. But that is not the only reason SFC is great. Since seeing Dr. Smith I have seen tremendous improvement with my overall range of motion and quality of life. I found solutions to things I was always told I just had to deal with or take medication for. I now see Dr. Smith about any of my healthcare concerns and he always takes the time to walk me through my issues and what could be causing them/his recommendations. I go in to get adjusted and always leave having learned something new. So in conclusion, SFC not only offers great customer service but they are able to assist with issues without a prescription and that is what sold it for me. Dr. Smiths strategy for improvement of spinal health fits very well with my routine. With frequent timely visits he has managed to help retrain my back to a much healthier state, increasing blood flow between vertebrae, causing a healthy gap between the bones allowing for greater nerve health and flexibility. Its amazing how many seemingly-unrelated secondary symptoms can be improved simply when spinal health is improved. He explains his technique very well and is always happy to answer any questions. He also measures progress and hones his strategy with yearly X-rays. Its great to know that someone is on my side to help offer advice and prevent the affects of todays often-too-sedentary work lifestyle. I cant count how many times I have slept wrong or in inadequate conditions, or even stretched wrong, and with a quick email Im able to come in within 48 hours for a rescue.None of the chronic stiffness or lack of ability to sleep has ever resurfaced since I started with Dr. Smith over 4 years ago. After trying to be physical on my treadmill, I ended up in horrid pain. I’d been seeing the Dr. Smiths ads and decided this was the time to check them out as I needed help with the pain I was experiencing.I had an exam with x-rays and found that I had some problems with curves in my spine that weren’t where they should be. After a couple of visits, my pain was greatly reduced. I am still working on getting my spine back where it belongs. But I feel better now, especially after long days at my computer.I like the approach that is taken towards chiropractic by Dr. Smith. It’s gentle yet very effective.

Before my first visit on March 31, 2014 I had to go Kaiser for a pain shot, up to twice a week. Since then I have only had to go once. I am able to sleep without taking any kind of medication. Before I came to Dr. Smith’s office I had to take Demerol pain killers in order to get through the day, now I take none. My better half says I’m in a better mood now, and look better. Hands down the best chiropractor I have been to. I have seen many chiropractors over the past 20 years as I move from place to place. I found a nice group on by his office and went for the free consult/xrays and it was obvious his much more organized. His adjustments are like magic. Even though techniques are all the same, some are rough and leave a bit sore/uncomfortable. Dr Dekens are the best I ever had! He also has a full treatment plan with an end goal in mind. When you show up he scans your card in the computer and your x-ray pulls up on the screen and he picks up from last time. Cant recommend him enough: world class chiropractic care.
