Willy from Smart Tech Security Systems came over to provide app training for our new systems, including pool, spa, lighting, Alexa, Ring, etc. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was so friendly that we felt like we had known him for years! He spent nearly two hours helping us set up all of our apps on both of our phones and explaining how to operate each one. I HIGHLY recommend Willy and Smart Tech Security! Their customer service is world-class!

What a great experience with this company. Set up the security system that came with the house. Installed several additional components. They hung four TVs and added 6 ceiling speakers and a sound bar. They were efficient, professional and appropriately priced. JP and team were great. Will use again if the need arises.

Horrible Service. I had these guys come in to do a security system install/cameras and they drilled through the water pipes on accident. This caused over 50k in damages and they didnt even have insurance to cover the bill. Now I am stuck with half of my house flooded and a 50k restoration bill.

They charge over a 35% markup on products and services over regular ADT. I had just purchased in home in the area and googled ADT. Smart Tech came up as an official ADT provider. I thought they were actually ADT. After over a year I needed new products and called ADT corporate. Their quote was over 35% less than Smart Tech. Also, the one advantage Smart Tech had was friendly, local customer service. Willie especially was a pleasure to deal with. Now they have a new unfriendly rude guy answering all calls. Finally, their service charge is $189!!! Whilst ADT is only $69. If you enjoy surly service at over 1/3 markup by all means go with Smart Tech.

We definitely had a great experience with this company. My sales rep Tom Grove was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained things very well and never did we feel pressured about signing up for the security system. We are very happy with the choice we made and most of all Blessed knowing our home & family will be protected. Our installer Steve was also very professional and courteous. Smart Tech Security Solutions did an excellent job on my home in Palm Springs! John is professional and an expert in everything security and camera surveillance. They were full-service in doing the installation and when Ive had any questions or had any needs after they did the work that was completed they were always ready to act quickly and take care of things. We worked with John to have our whole house set up with a new ADT system (having had ADT for years in another state). He took his time and walked us through all the options finding us the best price possible. We we very happy with the signup process and the installation. They were quick to address any issues and really appreciated their creativity in finding a way to meet our needs. Ultimately we got set up and have been using the system for several months, very happy customers

I would highly recommend John Fahrenthold and the Team at Smart Tech Security Solutions. Not only was the team professional, knowledgeable and helpful, they took the time to walk us through all of our options and were very responsive when we had questions, even after our install. John even stayed with our cable installer when we could not be home for the appointment. They really go the extra mile to ensure their clients are happy. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality service and a quality product with a personal touch!

These guys are excellent! We looked into several options and deals for an ADT security system after a break in at our home in Palm Springs. We found that others would try to hike up the prices after the initial quote and none of them were actually local to the area - except this one. John helped us to find the right system for our needs and price range, he went out of his way to answer questions promptly and made us feel comfortable with the process. Willy installed our system with a warm smile, great care and expertise; taking extra time to make sure all looked/worked perfectly while explaining how to use everything in a way that was easy to understand. John came out to meet me to explain all the latest equipment and services offered. He was on time, polite, and professional. He gave a clear and concise presentation on all the products and features and set me up with the package that best fit my needs. This house will be a vacation rental so I havent got to practice how everything works yet but the instructions seem straight forward and the installer (Steve I think) was also very helpful and explaining to me how to operate.

The staff was great to work with. Our sales rep spent a lot of time with us explaining our options and helping us design a system that would work best for us. No high pressure sales! The install technician was on time and easy to work with. Explained everything that he was doing and even fixed my broken door knob!

We just had an ADT system installed. we were delighted with the entire process. Tom sold us on the system and we were pleased with the pricing . Steve installed the system in one day. complex process and likely tedious but he was pleasant throughout. he took the time to answer our questions and was very professional. the computer module functioned well but the display was imperfect. Steve came over the following day with a new computer and replaced it cheerfully. there are other ADT sales offices out there. go with the best : Smart Tech!

Upon requesting a quote on ADTs website, we had one of their agents from Riverside show up. Long story short, she quoted us a price of $750. It just so happened that Jesus, the Manager, had arrived outside my door and we had decided to go with him because it was nothing out of pocket. He even threw in a couple additional motions. The challenge came on the day of install. We have a good sized house and some of the hard wire sensors were not working. This accumulated to over 5 1/2 hours of install on the first day and with an addition tech, 2-3 hours the following day. Lucky, my schedule is a bit flexible, but imagine if I had to take an additional day off of work given a different employment situation. Overall, I would go through Smart Tech again.

After meeting 2 other Companies from the Coachella Valley that are somewhat popular I decided to go with ADT Smart Tech, Jesus and the Company were the only company who actually knew what they were talking about regarding the protection of my home. The other two companies (Desert Alarm and Maximum Security) Didnt have the right answers or didnt know how to answer the questions I had. Pricing was far better with ADT for a far superior product. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Alonzo is the person who came out that day well not only that day but a hour after i walked in to my house being robbed. He also waited at my house while i went with the local PD to point the guys out. He is a very nice guy and had all our security needs that we wanted also informed me about a couple others that i did not know about. So after talking it over with my wife we decided to go with Smart Tech. He came that day and we filled out the paper work and he set up the installation for us. The Techs came and were in and out in a matter of hours. We had an issue with one of the sensors, I called him and he got the guys right back out and they fixed it in mins. Just want to say Thank you to Smart Tech for taking care of my security needs

Worst service. Communication in their company is terrible. The alarm system that was set up at our business address by smart tech ADT wasn’t working for at least a week, and despite notifying them immediately they took a week to show up and still left without fixing anything. To top it off, they never mention that you’re signing a TWO YEAR CONTRACT when they bring out the paperwork. They also don’t mention the 1,200.00 cancellation fee. Command One Security is by far better.

Jesus Ramos, Manager of ADT in Palm Desert, cold called me on a Saturday afternoon and was so persuasive, he signed me up right then and there. He was knowledgeable, personable and eager to explain the system to me and its advantages in comparison to the competition. We bonded over my parakeet, Tweetie, Thats a good Manager! The technician came a couple days later and set up my system. Ive been thrilled with it, the professionalism of ADTs staff and Ive had peace of mind ever since.

Selina and I became Facebook friends before I was robbed in mid-July. We recognized each other immediately at a business luncheon through the La Quinta Chamber of commerce. Selina Sullivan and Tom Grove came to my house to assess my needs, gave me several options the other monitoring company did not have. On the day of installation we found that my internet service was not working. Jorge installed most of the equipment, and returned the next day to finish the installation. He did a fantastic job that I couldnt see the wiring. Also, he didnt make a mess!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMART TECH as well as SELINA, TOM, AND JORGE, for being so courteous, understanding, professional, and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help anytime I have a question. I like the security that they are a local office and always just a phone call away. We were having a problem with the alarm on a Sunday and could not correct the problem over the phone. The ADT tech we talked with tried everything. We called John Fahrenthold that afternoon and he had Marcus and JP here early Monday morning and they had everything squared away immediately. Really good sales and service. Salesman was helpfull and addressed our concerns about security after several break-ins. Needed to activate update an existing system. Techs called and were delayed but arrived and went to work right away. No disruption to my routine. Replaced old sensors added new communications and sensors as needed. Friendly and courtious.
