Excellent storage facility with professional staff. I was shown and ultimately leased a storage unit from Donna. She was absolutely a delight to work with. She took the time to show me a couple of units and find out what my needs were. She also went over the contract and facility policies in a very professional and upbeat manner. The facility also looked very clean which in combination with the excellent customer service, made it an easy decision to lease. I since met the Office Manager and she is wonderful too since she makes her customers feel valued. What a great storage facility! Keep up the great work!!!

So far we have had a great experience. All the staff I dealt with were pleasant and wanted to help as best they could. I mainly dealt with the Manager Sarah but the other three people who I dealt with were all helpful and courteous. Originally I rented a 10 by 10 but when my movers showed up to move my stuff to the unit they thought I would need a 10 by 15 and I was worried I’d have to sign a separate contract but they made it so I just transferred my contract and only had to pay the difference. The facilities seemed clean and are easy to get in and out of. We had a 26’ moving truck but I think even if we had a full semi there would have been plenty of space for them to get in and out. I bought some boxes and other stuff for my move and everything was great except the tape I bought which started falling off the boxes so I had to switch tape types. All in all, this facility made storing easy!

Their front desk person was so helpful and gave myself and grandma a nice tour of the facility, and in Spanish so my grandma could understand. I needed a smaller storage area and they had one readily available for a great price! Thank you for supporting our troops! I highly recommend to anyone, especially if you need just month to month!

Just signed up for short term storage. The property feels a bit smaller and more personable than some of the large facilities I looked at. Cat was super patient with me answering all my questions (since Im a first time renter) and she really seems to care for the property. Sarah did a good job going through the contract with me as well. This place is month to month there is no commitment to a long term lease more importantly the prices were better than other storage facilities in the area. I found this place because of all the great reviews and that it is super close to where we live. I’ve called and always gotten great assistance and even was able to be on a wait list for my unit size I wanted. When I called again to follow up and one became available they put a courtesy 24 hold on it for me as well. Came in today to rent the unit and got to view it, talk to the employees about it and they were all extremely helpful and professional! Clean, well kept and they even offer military discount.

I came in to rent out a unit yesterday and Julian was very friendly and accommodating!The place is very clean, and well kept. I love that all the units are ground floor so there’s no hassle of having to take elevators or stairs when moving stuff into your storage unit.They’re closed on holidays & the property is not 24/7 so just keep that in mind if you do have to get into your unit frequently.They offer specials & military discounts as well.I was also relieved they offer a free moving truck for certain units so I don’t have to rent my own uhaul just to move my things!Would definitely recommend this place.

I really appreciate Smart Self Storage of Eastlake.. particularly Dawn, the manager, Mike who is such a nice, cool, calm spirited young man and Fernando.. serious but kind as well. I came out of a horrible foreclosure crisis and had to move quickly. I was so grateful of the service they offered with bringing the truck for us to load our belongings and they moved it to the storage facility. This is such a smart incentive.. great business idea. Although I was a bit upset that I didnt do my homework and go around the corner to a cheaper facility for the 6 months.. They understood my disappointment because I was strapped for money.. but their kindness some how beat out the money I could have saved. I know this sounds crazy but sometimes you are willing to pay extra money for being treated fairly, and decent. And after what we had just experienced it went a very long way.. Thanks SSSE..

It’s not greener on the other side when it comes to smart self storage of Eastlake! I have been a long time customer, but started looking for another storage facility closer to my home since moving out of Chula Vista. Looking elsewhere confirmed that in regards to pricing, customer service, and especially facility’s cleanliness & temperature climate, Smart Self Storage of Eastlake is the best place to store your belongings! Found the storage facility through google and it was close to my house. Easy to find, by the Eastlake shopping center. Ample parking. Walked into a clean office with a helpful front desk. Jessica asked what I needed and quickly ushered me to the unit I had in mind. The unit was clean and the facility looks safe. The process in all took about 20 min. Not bad. They sell boxes and locks on site. Recommend you come here for your storage needs.

Place is CLEAN. best thing to do if you are not in a rental moving truck, go about 11am, because before that, you might be blocked by an 18 wheeler. Avoid Friday-Sunday if you can, no people during the work week, so of course the lot is yours! They offer a push cart if you need it, most times in the hall ways.

This place is GREAT!!!!! Our house was foreclosed on and my husband was being deployed at the same time. We were both really stressed out but everybody was sooooooo nice even when I pestered them with a million questions. lolThey even gave us a move-in special and a free moving truck!!! They drove it out to our house and everything, plus they offer military discounts and automatic payments so we didnt have to worry about the bill.The whole place is just so clean its crazy, even my house isnt that clean. Its a BIG different from some of the ghetto places I rented at before! My husband saw it and he said he wanted to move in. lolThey have different specials and discounts including a referral discount and they helped us figure out what was best for our situation. They also said our rate stays the same for a year so we wouldnt have to worry about it getting bumped up once my husband deployed.I was very happy storing here and I still recommend them to all my friends. :o)
