This location is my favorite, the donuts are always fresh and the associates are always friendly, attentive, and dont mind helping you out with suggestions. A lot of the local university student come here for a late night snack, hangout, and most of all study. I make a 30 min trip to come here almost every other week with my friends and family. We love to support this local business!

We used SLO DoCo. for the dessert at our wedding reception and we couldn’t have asked for a better doughnut experience. The doughnuts were made fresh that day, were a huge hit with our guests (especially the classic sugar coated and the maple!) and were very reasonably priced! They also made us a special large doughnut iced with our name and date which was so so special. They made the process easy and seamless via email and the phone. We would highly recommend SLO DoCo. to anyone catering dessert and especially for anyone thinking of doing wedding doughnuts in the San Luis Obispo area! #betterthancake

Since moving to SLO, I was curious about this place. I finally got a chance to try it a few weeks ago and it loved it! The staff greeted me and have been very kind each time I come in. They even remembered me and I have only been there a few times! The donuts are great and the fun creations they have stand out. I tried their cereal donuts and these galaxy donuts they had and the taste and texture was delicious! Their other donuts are just as good. In particular, the maple pillow filled with Nutella (or other flavors such as pumpkin spice) tasted amazing! This donut alone is a major reason as to why I come back. I normally always get apple fritters when I enter a donut place but this donut has won me over. I always make it a a point to get this donut when come through. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come here.

We were on a work trip came back to the hotel and our front desk girl hooked us up by telling us about sloDoCo. The environment was inviting, the customer service was great they answered all our questions told us what each donut was, making jokes,. We bought a few and went back to the hotel and did a tasting. Theyre good looking donuts and reasonably priced, but I wont be returning. I generally dislike donuts because theyre always far too sweet and these ones in particular I couldnt even finish one with how nauseating it was. Thats me though, and I was dragged here. If you want your blood sugar to spike, go for it here, because the texture was quite good (especially the vegan options). The two gentleman behind the counter were very chill.

Seems like a local favorite and open 24hours! So glad we stopped here on our road trip. Every flavor sounded so good! We got a maple old fashioned, a raised vanilla with sprinkles (which came out warm and was one of the best donuts I’ve had!) and a cute little donut hole sized puff filled with a light orange cream 😋

For people who know the area there is one place for doughnuts that really stands out amount the rest. When you enter the store you get your first indication something is going on and there is a buzz even late at night.Picture students and people working to laptops, talking, and a relaxed vibe centered around doughnuts (and assume some coffee to keep the fires going).Why are all these people here?Well they have some Rockin doughnuts for one. They have so many choices and as they are busy they are always making fresh batches.The flavors, colors, and variation is amazing. I have friends and family who need to eat gluten free and there are a whole section for delicious choices for them as well.They have a rock solid social media presence and be sure to read and see some of their amazing holey creations for yourself.Recently tried the devil cake donut with cream cheese frosting. A great variety of donuts, staff is politely and friendly, coffee is good for coffee but only if you’re good at mixing up your own drink, seating is a bit uncomfortable but there are plenty of electronic sockets for charging, the local are is a plus. The biggest draw is that they offer WiFi 24 hours.

Incredibly disappointed in this location. I pre-ordered 35 donuts, and was very specific in what I wanted, and I was basically given the leftovers of the morning. I received about 20 bars and twists, all of which were either sugar, maple, or glazed (I asked for only one dozen of these, and asked for a mix of sugar, maple, and chocolate), 14 raised donuts (10 of which were crumb, which I specifically asked them not to include), and a single cake donut with chocolate chips (again, never asked for this). When I called to bring it to their attention, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. I was told that the person I spoke with was too busy to talk with me, and they would call me back... which they did, two hours later, when I wasnt available. I then wrote in my complaint, and I never heard a word from them.

Cake donut with strawberry glaze and chocolate chips from SloDoCo: It had a very distinct strawberry flavor that I couldnt place. Husband said Smarties, and I agreed, but I think Sprees might be a step closer to capturing its tang. The flavor combination with the chocolate chips was good! But unexpected tang for sure.

On our way to Motto Bay we came across this instagrammable place. Wait what? Yes, these donuts are truly worth a post. From Thai Iced Tea to Lavender frosting - you can find anything here. Another novelty donut shop. Novelty donut shops are popular because of the zany and interesting flavours (cookie crisps cereal on a chocolate chip walnut raisin cronut) but end up really lacking in the actual quality and flavour department. I had a vegan, normal raised, and cake donut here. The vegan donut actually ended up being the best, but was nothing Id come back for. The other two were pretty substandard. They have a cool donut customization center, which I bet would be really fun for kids, so thats a plus. Overall, I think this place would actually really be really nice for kids, but if you want a really QUALITY donut, unfortunately it might be elsewhere (probably not in SLO).

Who would have thought that Winchells Donuts from the 1980s and 1990s then Krispy Kream could not be out done.Well, they have been out sugared with the best most moist soft and perfectly sweetened delights.Every bite is sugary and donut chaos in my mouth. There were so many flavors to choose from and there were even vegan options. The donuts I chose were too sweet from what I remember. Came to this donut shop after dropping my brother off at college. The flavors and designs looked impressive (they have tons of cool options) but the donuts were just not good. I love that this donut shop is open 24/7! Great spot to drop in for a treat. The pillow donuts and cream puffs are fresh, light and crisp. They even have vegam options! It can be loud and crowded Thurs-Sun and during finals and midterms. Otherwise, they have great options during the day hours and a nice, artsy atmosphere. There is free wifi and also board games available. Some nights they even have live music. Great spot for all ages.

This place was awesome. Such an amazing selection of traditional and unique donuts. My husband was bummed he missed the experience. I had a maple bacon bar and I inhaled it-so delicious. One of my sons had a traditional cake donut with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles and he ate it in the car long before we got home. My younger son got the donut that looked tie-dyed and was nice enough to give me a bite. It was a little sweet for my liking but he loved it. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We’ll definitely go again the next time we’re in town.

They have all the classics and tons of unique flavors as well, always fresh because they are always flying off the shelves. The buttermilk bars are so light and fluffy. My friends & I took a trip to the coastal area recently & as we were passing thru my friend wanted to stop & get some donuts from her favorite donut shop. This donut shop was busy at the late hour that we stopped in & its probably because they had a large variety to choose from. I chose the Red Velvet Donut which was so delicious & moist. Now I know why this has become my friends favorite spot to go to when in the area. Great vibe & excellent service!

Cool spot to get some donuts with pretty creative flavors. They have so many kinds that it can be a bit overwhelming though. Saw lots of students just hanging out, studying so it seems like a cool place to chill. The flavor of the donuts wasnt as good as Psycho Donuts in Campbell but they were pretty tasty.

What a cool place! Not at all what I was expecting from the banner hanging outside. The donuts were really really good and incredibly cheap. There were so many to choose from it took me a while to decide what I wanted to try. The walls are covered in murals and art from local artists. It looked like they sometimes have live bands play there. It was all very clean and the staff were quick and nice. I just wish I lived closer so I could come here every morning.

Great spot with a great variety of donuts. Full around finals and midterm season, especially because they are open 24/7. Great option for vegan donuts! They also have gluten-free donuts if you have an intolerance, but (a) I have heard that they arent the best, and (b) many times they are out of GF. Other than that, the variety is great! Higher prices than most places though ($2.50-$3.00), but its for a specialty donut (I dont mind paying a bit extra every now and then for a drumstick donut).

Not really sure what the hype is all about, but Im always here for a good fried & frosted dough circle. The donuts we chose were very edible donuts (coffee crunch and matcha) and justified the small detour in our mini road trip. Paired well with a coffee from down the road. Im not sure Ill go out of my way to return, but worth a stop if youre nearby.

Whatever type of donuts you can think of Reigns Supreme here. Its kind of a trendy place and theres a bunch of college students in there because of the donut selection. The donuts are always fresh. It is a little pricey but its well worth it. They also put the donuts in a bigger box and lay the donuts flat in the box so they dont stick on top of each other which is a little different and a lot better. My favorite donut is the eggnog donut. They have so many donuts it takes you awhile to look at the big board of donut selections. Best spot on the Central Coast for donuts in my opinion. The line out the door on my first visit to this place was a sure sign it would be good. People dont wait for bad food. Everything is scratch made and the coffee is tasty.Its not cheap but the quality is first rate. No pre Fab jellies or icings here. I took home a dozen and they disappeared in a matter of minutes.Do yourself a favor and skip the chain stores.I dont always eat donuts but when I do, I prefer SLO donuts!Stay hungry my friends.

SloDoCo has got to be one of the best gems in SLO County! They have all sorts of delicious donuts and they keep making new flavors or unique decor for their donuts! It is so amazing just how much variety they have! All of their donuts are soft, fluffy, and perfectly flavored! I love that they also included board games to play and expanded the store! I would just be wary of being too loud since a lot of students do study there. My only complaint is that they do run out of donuts near the evening, so if you arere planning to go after dinner you might have to stick with some regular donuts. But they also are delish! They also serve some coffee and thai tea to keep you awake for a busy study night!

Line was out there door on my first visit. Turns out it was one of those national donut days. Unfortunately as a result of the crowd they were out of everything on the menu I was hoping to try. To top it off I must have been serviced by the least friendly employee on staff. She seemed rather distracted by the crowds so Ill cut her a little bit of Slack. The people are friendly, but it really is catering to the high school/college kid crowd and is often packed with kids hanging out. I wish I had this place when I went to school here! Coffee and teas are all very good, too. Prices are a bit high, but they are just capturing their market. Smart. Most definitely worth a visit, especially if youre a late teen/young twenty-something. If I could I’d give them 0 stars. The donuts are ok but very expensive. And I asked for two cappuccinos, instead they gave me two lattes that were nasty and were 65% full. And it wasn’t hot either. As well as it being pretty foamy. I was charged $4.25 for each and the cups were small. So all the way around, it was a F over. But my fault for going there. Never again.

Since my family and I are in town for our yearly trip to the coast, we decided to check this place out since we were in the mood for a treat.And honestly, it... was... amazing!The doughnuts they serve are high quality and delicious. An iconic place to visit in SLO. The donuts are always so fun and they seem to have an endless selection of donuts. They added a cool new toppings bar where you can further customize your donut or add more toppings to your liking. I love that they have a good variety of vegan and gluten free donuts so there really is always something for everyone to enjoy. The staff is kind and helpful. Being open 24 hours, anytime you could possibly want a donut is a good excuse to head over to SloDoCo and get your donut fix! We got a maple bar and buttermilk, both of which were excellent! Then we got the chocolate peanut butter glazed- huge and rich! It was warm and so very tasty. Went in for a large order at SLO location when there were very few customers and one of the employees (woman with blue hair) was incredibly rude and hostile. She snapped at a customer to stay on one side of the counter when he was trying to view donuts on the other side of the counter. When customer told her he was simply trying to see the donuts on that side of the counter she continued to raise her voice and yell and talk down to the customer. Other customers in the store then told the customer she attacked that she was way out of line and that he was in no way in their way when they were placing their orders. Not sure why they would have anyone with such a nasty and hostile disposition interacting with any customers ever. Usually a fun place to visit with the family but that was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed.

Everyone has their favorite donut from Slodoco, and everyone is right about theirs being the best— whether a classic (maple bar, vanilla cruller, old fashioned) or a Slodoco Original (Thai tea, Fruity Pebbles, lavender) there is no disappointing flavor here.There are all sorts of seasonal flavors (I had a shark week donut a few summers back!) as well as vegan and gluten-free options. Good for breakfast, dessert, midday snack and after class pick-me-up. The coffees and teas are pretty great, too.Since theyre open for so long, batches of flavors come out in shifts, so the specialty donut you got last night at 6pm might not be out when you visit at 7am. Just ask someone who works there when those ones usually get brought out :)(P.S. the best is the Thai tea donut with an iced Thai tea to drink. Thats my winning combo)

Today November 13, 2021, we had the worst experience ever at this Foothill location in San Luis Obispo. The 2 young women behind the counter, were flip, snide and in general very apathetic attendents for customers. The brunette looked like she was hung over, disheveled, rude and handled the donuts like she was annoyed and being put out. Her hair was not tied back at the bottom and that was disturbing to us. I am from out of town and I love their donuts and usually go to the Atascadero location. The Atascadero location is so friendly and have great customer service. This past Sunday I went to the SLO location and I am so unhappy with my experience. First of all the boy behind the counter was not friendly. I am an easy-going customer and I was quick with my order. Not only did he grabbed the wrong donuts but he shoved 6 donuts in a small bag. But I was in a hurry to go back home so didnt noticed until I left. Some of the donuts were crushed and it fell apart, so I wasnt able to eat some of them. Horrible customer service especially for special orders. Sure their donuts are good, but for the headache of dealing with them it just isnt worth it. We contacted the head baker for a special order of Star Wars donuts for our sons birthday. They said to let them know early which we did and we kept trying to constantly check in with them if our order can be fulfilled in time. We never got responses, the person was never in, and just lacking customer service. We hear a WEEK later that basically it cant be done so we went with another company for treats for the birthday. Me and my friend tried entering with her service animal, and as soon as we walked inwe were promptly told by the cashier that dogs were not allowed. We asked if even service animals werent allowed and they said that they were also not allowed. Which me and my friend both know thats illegal but to not cause a scene we just left. They have a stellar vegan selection of doughnuts, which is awesome since vegan stuff is hard to come by, let alone having numerous choices! They have Star Wars doughnut stickers...need I say more?! For a donut fan this place is heaven. I was in slo for a few days and made my diet irrelevant with all the great food SLO has to offer. We had the lavender donut and maple bacon to start, coffee was solid and the donut mongers were as sweet as the donuts they sold. If i were a local i would love their large study area. For anyone visiting, its a must eat 100%, youll regret passing up a donut or 2 at Slodoco

They have a wide variety of donuts with quirky names and flavors. They have bacon maple bars, lavender flavor donuts and Galaxy donuts. They have vegan options too and they are delicious. They are excellent and have great coffee.

I had the best apple fritter of my life at this donut shop. The quality is definitely not overhyped. I bought a chai creamcheese donut as well and while I was a bit worried that there would be an overwhelming amount of creamcheese filling inside, it ended up being the perfect amount for me. There is an overwhelming number of donut varieties to choose from with an entire section of their display cabinet dedicated to gluten-free and vegan options. I also liked how they have a board to hold their frequent customers coffee mugs (creative way to reduce waste). A neat little shop and I wish we had this franchise in Canada!

As a college student I study here almost daily. Their donuts are top notch and generally pretty fresh. Plenty of caffeine options to fuel your day as well. It can get very crowded on weekdays which can quickly fill up the somewhat limited seating and severely slow down the wifi, sometimes to an unusable speed. Hopefully they invest in a faster connection soon. Also, if youre headed here from 6:00pm - 10:00pm be ready to not find a spot to sit. Overall though, fantastic place to study and be productive if youve got a break in between classes or want to pull an all-nighter considering its a 24 hour establishment.

This place is awful. THE WORST. (end Trump voice)I originally dropped in just to pick up one glazed donut as a snack. I am a tourist and had no idea what I was in for. That donut was mindblowingly amazing. So amazing in fact, I came back the next day and loaded up with 7 more donuts and I ate them all. 8 DONUTS IN TOTAL. Do you know how much time I had to spend in the gym when I got back home? Do you know how much I had to struggle to get my diet back under control? Lets just say I hated myself for days after, more than enough to compensate for the indescribable love I gained for the creativity that SLOCO staff puts into their menu.Ten out of ten, would come back and ruin my diet again.(The staff are friendly too!)

Im not a huge donut fan. I dont go out of my way to get them. But when the SLO Tour de Donut calls...you gotta eat. And they were delicious! Just basic glazed donuts and they were super yummy!

Truly a landmark in San Luis Obispo, a wide selection of donuts that blows other donut shops out of the water. Open 24 hours, plenty of places to study, friendly staff, and shows by local artists every Friday. Come check it out. Its great.

Vegan donuts... not as fancy as the regular donuts, but good. Gluten free donuts are vegan as well. Regular donuts are very good. Pricier than a traditional donut shop, but you can decorate your own donut at the toppings bar.

This place has vegan donuts and coffee 24 hours a day!! They answer the phone if you call ahead and can set items aside for you. Staff is super friendly. Lots of seating. Spacious parking lot. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this little shop. I had the HoundDog doughnut, which is a peanut butter doughnut, topped with Bacon Crumbles and a sweet Whipped Cream Cap. It was crazy good. The boysenberry doughnut holes are really good, and definitely worth a try. The smell of this place is intoxicating, but the service was so friendly I would recommend it to anyone wanting a sweet bite.

Best donuts in SLO. Great variety. Even ones you would never think of. They are amazing! Always something new and unique but still have the old favs for people who just like a regular donut. You wont be disappointed!

Never gets old. Go first thing in the morning around 4/5 and they usually have fresh donuts. Bakers get in around 8pm - or at least they used to. Happy to see they’ve expanded their space too.
