Once I used their belt for the first-time, some twenty+ years ago, I never bought any other belt from any one else. Good quality, great selection, fair price and awesome creative concept. Over the years I ordered number of different belts, and the quality has never been an issue. If you use the belt properly, even their mid-level product will last you a long time. I love the fact that you can customize the length of the belt. I suggest leaving a bit extra lenght, so that if the buckle wears out at the point of its attachment- you can simply cut the bad section out. What really makes this company special is their customer service. If you have any reasonable issues with their product, theyll make it right for you.

A great product, in both quality and function. There is nothing worse than having a belt that no longer fits because you gained or lost weight. SlideBelt has quality belts with their slide lock function allows you to handle those fluctuations without buying new belts or wearing out belt holes! Great belt in concept. I ordered a belt for myself and 3 belts for my son. The buckles are well made and look great. However, the quality of leather and contruction of the belt portion is not so good. My sons leather belts cracked in half in only a few months. To be fair, we got him the blue, green and rainbow belts, maybe those particular colors are lesser quality? My belt was black and the layers started to delaminate.We may have just had a bad batch of belts.

I purchase a black $49 belt and gunmetal color buckle. Really liked it so a week later stepped up to the full leather strap and a different buckle. I really like both belts and the 1/4 inch adjustments are great. I didnt have any issues in adjustments or releasing and the belt held very well. NO issues except on USPS side by not delivering when the tracking showed the last belt was to be delivered on xx date. Not SlideBelts fault. Great product, will buy again next time I am in the need of another belt.

My husband is really happy with the belt he received (as a gift from me). We waited quite a while for it to arrive because of your success, but we waited patiently. It was worth it. He likes it because its so totally adjustable, and depending on which slacks or jeans hes wearing, the belt fits perfectly. The quality is tops, the finest materials and finish. I really appreciate that they stand behind their products. I love these belts but Ive had problems with the belt and the buckle on different occasions. Their customer service team is awesome and theyve replaced the items without hassle. In both cases the replacement was better quality so its good to see the product is improving. You would think that a belt that costs $150.00 would last longer than a year and 3 months. The buckle comes completely out every time I go to the restroom or go to make any adjustments and it is annoying to hear the buckle hit the tile. The least of my problems was that the paint came off within 3 months and it lost much of its class. I wore this as a regular belt and I work in sales, so no rough treatment. The warranty conveniently is for only 12 months, and it doesnt cover cosmetic issues so they know there is a problem with the paint. For $150 I would expect a longer warranty or better quality. I was really excited when I got this belt and within a year realized that this belt is a let down. I really, truly wanted to love this belt and I did for the first couple months.

What a great invention! Love the quality of the belts and ease of use. Ive purchased and recommended several belts for myself and family/friends. Service and commitment to quality is great... when the buckle on one broke, they immediately sent a replacement free of charge, legitimately researched to find out where the defective one was produced to ensure it didnt happen again, and followed up to confirm the replacement was up to expectations. Cant ask more than that!

Love the belts, I have 3 and bought one for my son. And I will be buying another or two for golfing soon. My only caution is to be careful cutting to length. It seemed to me that the marked lengths were a little short. The belts have been perfect in every other way, quality is great, leather is first rate and the operation of the buckle is exactly as advertised. Couldnt be more pleased!

I purchased two of these belts just to see what they were like because I have been losing weight and my bills were getting too big for me. Very interested in the concept on how they lock and I like that it doesnt show on the outside is just a smooth surface going to crossed. I also like that you can cut the belt off inch by inch as your Waist gets smaller. The quality of the leather and the of the buckle were exceptional. They were very well-made and looks like it the belts could be used them for a long time.I was so impressed with the belts that I bought a small piece of the company. There cannot be any better representation of how well you like the belts as buying stock in the company.

Other than initially receiving the wrong color of leather, the replacement process was quick and your support team member was very helpful and friendly. The replacement arrived prompted as promised and the prepaid return envelope made it very easy. So far, the belt seems of high quality and the slide works very well. Customer support is second to none. I had an issue with a belt, sent an email with photos if the issue. The next day I had a response describing that they had made some changes in the design, and told me that a new belt was on the way to me. The belt was sent priority mail, and I got it in two days. I have since ordered (and received) another belt. I really like the way the slide belt works, the cost is on par with any quality belt, and the customer service is great! I dont often give 5 stars to any company.

Love the black/silver so far! Works well and gotten a few comments about the belt. Just ordered another, but it might be nice to offer just the buckle separately. The second belt I ordered with a gunmetal finish with the walnut belt. Maybe brass would have been the better choice and Id get the brass as an option for a little dressier belt.

The buckles always break after about 6 months. They were awesome in sending me replacements at no cost(which is why 3 stars), but after 4-5 buckles breaking, always at the pin in the buckle, I have moved on to try other slide belts.I would try them again in a couple years and see if they have it sorted out as their products are awesome initially, but for now I would suggest other companies, and there are many that make this type of belt now.Edit: They sent me a new buckle and new belt for all my troubles. If this buckle lasts, I will add a star at 6 months and another if it makes it a year. I do love this belt.

The quality of the belt is very good and I love how it allows me to fit the belt to the subtle changes my body makes throughout the day. being able to tighten it within 1/4 inch increments without incurring the usual demarkations of a standard belt is great. It stays smooth and smart looking. As a bonus point, the built-in bottle opener works like a champ!

These belts are totally awesome! My husband is a huge fan--he has quite a collection and loves the ability to interchange the buckles with different leathers. My kids like to play with the click mechanism so I know they are durable and have made it through child testing! Love the belt! Still not sure just how durable it will be though. The teeth broke on my belt a couple of months after receiving it. Then about 4 months later the pins came out of my buckle. In both cases the company replaced the defective parts. Customer service must be swamped with e-mails since it takes forever to get a response (please Slidebelts, add a few more customer service personnel) but once they get to you you get first class service! Since they did so well taking care of me I will assume for now the issues I faced were due to teething issues with a relatively new company. Now, we will see how long my replacement belt lasts.

I love this belt. The quality is top notch, but the key is that this belt will always fit. The number of incremental positions when compared with traditional notched belts is the main selling feature. After all, if your belt doesnt fit properly, then your going to spend all day adjusting your pants and that sucks. Spend the money and get the best belt youve ever owned!

Definitely superior to a regular belt, especially for a big guy who tend to tear the holes on regular belts. I have one of the cheap belts, but it has excellent stitching and is holding up well. my only complaint is the buckle. the clamp which holds it to the belt pops up sometimes when not wearing the belt and the buckle falls off. I have to keep repressing it down. it needs a mechanism to snap or hold it clamped until you want to release it. no problems with belt on, just when its not in use and your picking it up plop goes the buckle and has to be refastened. Overall i plan to buy more and would recommend this for any big person. its als a lot more comfortable. no need to force fit to a hole.

Good price, good quality, and fast shipping. The only issue that I have found is that the belt latch disengages/unlocks slightly when locked down. Not enought to release the belt though. It is minor but gets irritating when every time I check the belt buckle, I have to click back down. Other than my OCD, this is a great belt and I love the concept.

You really want a review, huh? I havent used it because its a backup for the original that is cracking badly and will likely fail at some point. So the review is really for the one its going to replace.In case its not clear - while I like the concept, Im not too keen on the cheapness of the original belt.---The old belt finally gave up - the end in the buckle broke off. So I pulled out my new one. What Ive found is the material on the inside is so soft the teeth just pull through. So - after one day - the belt will simply let go completely just walking through the house.What the hell? Such a great concept - such stupid execution. Im surprised you guys are still in business.

The original order shipped quickly. Unfortunately I ordered 2 belts and only got one. One call to customer service was all it took to get the 2nd belt in the mail (good customer service). I will not know until a year goes by how well the belts hold up. A friend of mine has had the same belt for over a year and is happy with his. I wish the front end was tapered more as it is a struggle to get through the loops of some of my pants and shorts.

The most difficult thing about this purchase is picking a buckle. I caught a good deal on a buckle and belt strap marked down so I ended up with 2 belts. I am planning on getting one for my son for Christmas. They are excellent quality and easy to use. Worth the price for the quality.

I love the belt - but you might add to your instructions to cut it several inches larger than the desired waist. I cut my first belt to my waist 34 and it barely fit. it needs to be cut at 2 or so more than your waist size. and while that might seem like common sense - it was lost on me in the initial make of the belt. I love it!

Im very disappointed in their skinny belt for women. Called genuine leather, this is the cheapest leather I have ever seen. Horrible. The first one I bought in tan got these weird looking whitish water spots. I tried a colored leather cream with no luck -- the cream did not soak in at all. Finally I tossed it and ordered a replacement strap -- yes, I would have ordered a better quality in the skinny model, but they dont make one. While the second skinny belt is a slightly better leather (red) the manufacturing quality is bad -- there is a gouge mark in the leather no doubt caused by the equipment used to make it. To add insult to injury, I emailed SlideBelt on 12/19/16, got an auto reply but havent heard zip from them since (8 days ago). I gave two stars because at least the buckle is substantial. And, yes, as another reviewer said, SlideBelts charged my credit card a week or more before shipping the belt -- a very bad business practice. I actually told them to cancel my order and lo and behold I got a shipping confirmation the very next day.

I am very impressed with this belt. The buckle is truly a very well engineered product! Its light weight, yet strong and packed full of items that might come in quite handy at some time. The best part is you wouldnt know by looking at it. Its totally stealth. For all the world to see; its just a great looking belt. I should mention that they also make all sorts of other belts that are not survival type. However, in my opinion, this is the belt they should really concentrate their marketing dollars on because there really is nothing else quite like it out on the market. A bit pricey; however, you more than get what you payed for.

Ive recently switched to SlideBelts, and have three now. I needed some way to hang them up. The hanger that I purchased from SlideBelts works well and I am pleased with it. These belts and buckles are more than amazing. The style is elegant, the variety of buckles is never ending, and the leather and fabric belts meet my every need, from casual to dressy. Ive been wanting fully adjustable dress belts like the canvas and nylon belts I had years ago so I can wear tgem to work. Slidebelts is perfect! Selection is very good, and the ability to select different buckles for different looks is great. Company kept me aprized of my order status at each step and confirmed my receipt. The belt is great, but ordering from the UK is painful. When the belt arrived we were hit with customs import duty which doubled the cost of the belt so wont ordering again from the US. The checkout says tax and shipping is calculated but this wasnt the case so disappointed with the experience overall which may sound unfair on SlideBelts but it was their checkout process.Exploring the UK retailers that sell these belts there wasnt the range of options that suited me hence the online purchase.I will buy more of these belts when next in the US but for now will avoid the import route.Belt = 5 StarsCustomer Experience = 3 Stars

I love the look and feel of this belt. But, it slips... a lot. I have been wearing it for about 3 days and I have to keep pulling my pants up. It looks like the plastic on the back of the belt has been rounded off so the latch does not catch like it should. I emailed the support team and I have been wait for 8 days now for a response. I ordered the Onyx Premium Full Grain Leather Belts - Square Gunmetal / Custom: in March, and have been wearing it almost daily (for the office) since. I like the belt for its adjustability, the obvious quality of the buckle mechanism, and comfort. However, the onyx (black) finish is wearing off in various places.I wear this exclusively in a business casual office environment, and IMHO, the leather finish should not be wearing off in such a short period of time. I could understand some minor wear if it was just in places where, for example, my cell phone holster rides, but it is wearing off all over. For the money, the leather finish should be far more durable than this.So, my review is mixed---great idea, but not quite the quality I expected from the leather.

The belt and its associated buckle were all Id hoped it would be. The belt is of excellent quality, thick, supple, and strong. The buckle has, so far, held this fat boys pants up just fine. I was intrigued by the concept and delighted by the product!. The durability of the belt was demonstrated when I trimmed it to the length I needed. I must admit that I was unable to simple push the teeth of the buckle into the end of the belt and had to take a mallet and give it a few tabs. It looks great and works as advertised. I like the fact that there are no holes in the belt.

OK, so I was pretty confident that this belt would be a good fit (:-)) for me. I have read about them since their inception but never ordered one until now. It arrived just as we were taking off on a trip so I slipped it on and took it with me. It was great. I ended up cutting off about 6 inches of the leather to make it look better with less flap. I had to go through a security check at Disneyland and the security officer asked me when he scanned me if I was wearing a belt. I replied yes and pulled up my shirt to show him and that leads me to my first complaint. When I looked down, the top of my pants had folded over the belt completely and the belt was not visible until I folded my pants back up.I have worn the same type of belt for almost 30 years (peace officer web belt) simply because they were exceptional and lasted a long time (I am NOT a peace officer). I just noticed that the SlideBelt was considerably narrower than the web belt worn before. I took a look at my pants when I got home and almost all of the belt loops are considerably larger than the SlideBelt. This means that I will have this issue every time I wear the belt. My question to SlideBelts is when will a wider version be produced?The second issue / complaint is that it was hot in Southern California and at the end of the day, the back of the belt right along my back was soaked with sweat. The belt dried out by the next day but I am concerned that the leather does not seam to have any water resistance. Definitely a problem in this and other humid areas and I fear that by the belt getting wet and drying out, it will eventually break down to the point it will probably break in half. Water resistance is important, especially in a belt of this price...So what am I going to be doing? Well I like the belt so I will not be returning it (plus I cut it so that is not an option anyway). I will most likely relegate it to being worn in the fall/winter and only with my couple of pants with narrow belt loops. Hopefully, SlideBelts will consider these issues for future production runs. It is well made and looks nice. And the packaging is over the top... I thought the package was jewelry when I opened up the shipping box. Nicely done SlideBelts. Hopefully we can do business in the future.

A lot time ago I saw an add about slide belts. I liked the short video and thought I will order one - just one. Then I received it and since then I gave all my other belts away to a charity and bought several other slide belts. Even my wife loves them. She has a few, but would prefer if Slide Belts would have a few more colors.Be careful! Once you owe one there is no way back :)

I love the rachet style belts. No more guess work when shopping for a belt in stores.Belts come in at 48 inches are marked on the backside to customize the length. Beltsare sturdy and wide enough so that the pants dont roll over above the belts.I am one that is sensitive to salt intake, so my waistline can change daily. No worrieswith the SlideBelts though. Just ratchet to your comfort.

I have a pair of cordovan shoes for which Ive never found a belt to match. I have been reluctant to purchase the premium belt as I didnt want to pay $98 for a belt. Recently, I decided to purchase the premium belt with a discount coupon, assuming from the picture that it would match my shoes. I am very disappointed that the belt that I received does not resemble the picture at all. It is basically another brown (dark brown) belt. I cant really tell the difference between the leather of this premium belt and the lesser expensive belts (Ive purchased three) that Ive purchased previously. Not to say that the premium belt is not just as nice as any of the other SlideBelts that Ive purchased, but why spend nearly $100 for a belt that is not very distinguishable quality wise from the previous belts that Ive purchased and which does not match the color indicated in both the picture and the name of the belt.

The SlideBelt is terrific, very easy to set-up, use and with lots of flexibility. I find that some pants such as jeans require a bit tighter of a belt fit and other pants such as khakis or dress slacks dont require as much cinching/tightening of ones belt. The SlideBelt easily allows me the ease to adjust. I also like the fact, that I will avoid creating stretch marks around the belt holes, that in the past shorten the lifespan of my belts. Obviously, as this belt requires no holes, no longer an issue.Plan to return soon and pick-up an additional belts and buckle. Perhaps a canvas belt for summer as well. Great product, glad I stumbled across you, only wish I had found you sooner.

The product is innovative and very useful. I love the belt however the website is confusing as one product description under casual menu drop down identifies the item as a Leather Belt however the belt is really faux leather polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which describes an animal friendly material. I made the mistake of ordering a leather belt a couple weeks ago only to receive a faux leather polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Customer support was sorry for the confusion and sent me a leather replacement strap free of charge. Customer support is superb however I am giving them 4 stars as they still have not updated the item title as of posting this review. Not sure why as there is a menu drop down for the Animal friendly version if you so prefer.

Ive tried similar products, but they dont compare to the quality and ease of use of the Slidebelts products. If I had known it was included I would have specified a different buckle.
