My fridge suddenly started making humming noise and clicking sound every couple minutes, found SkyRocket on Yelp that’s near by me.David first discovered my compressor was not working, he then troubleshoot to see if it’s just the relay connector that’s broken, once we put on another relay connector, my compressor started running again.It also comes with 3 months warranty if same part/ problem goes wrong again.Appreciate the work done by David @SkyRocket HVAC Appliance, same day appointment to get my refrigerator back working.

My experience with Skyrocket HVAC, thanks to George and David, was top-notch. They installed a mini-split system with two panels in two rooms, and I couldnt be happier. Great service! Our 20 year old Kitchenaid refrigerator started leaking. I called Skyrocket and got an appointment the next day. The technician came on time and quickly assessed the situation. The leak was taken care off. It has been several days - no issues! I would call them again.

They have be so great to work with! They not only have fix our existing HVAC system, but also gives us great recommendations that helps us save money. I almost never write reviews online but after using SkyRocketHvac services twice I think I should share my experience.First time I used SkyRocketHvac was on a Christmas eve day couple of years ago. That morning after waking up to a really cold house and failing to get the old heater to cooperate I started calling HVAC service companies to get somebody to come take a look. Being Christmas eve day most companies seemed to be closing early for the day. SkyRocketHvac was the only one that were willing to send out a technician, if I didn’t mind him coming in the evening. When the technician showed up, he quickly found the issue and although the heater is ancient he had the appropriate part and managed to get it working in less than one hour. Although a cold house is not a super high emergency SkyRocketHvac made the extra effort to service our home when every other company understandably was “closing early” for the day.The second time I used SkyRocketHvac was at my rental property. The heater seemed to be having some intermitted issues, it would stop working only to start again some time later before cutting of yet again. Again, SkyRocketHvac was able to send a technician within a day. This time the problem was much trickier to diagnose due to its intermitter behavior. Couple of times we though it was fixed only for the same “shutting down” behavior to reappear again after waiting long enough.Needless to say this time it took a little longer to fix the issue. The technician even stayed for an extra half hour at the end to make sure it was really fixed and I was only charged for the essential component that was needed.In summary, both times I used SkyRocketHvac services I was impressed by the professionalism, competency, honesty and their willingness to go the extra mile for their customers.I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

I called Skyrocket for the second time and it was the same great service as it was 2 years ago. Mary was friendly and could schedule an inspection of the furnace for the same day. I just gave my rental property address and tenants information and David called me with all the details, answered all my questions and gave me a fair price. Next day they got a part and replaced the gas valve on the furnace. My tenants are happy, I’ve paid the invoice online and will recommend Skyrocket to all my friends.

Called Skyrocket to install a new a/c. It was a difficult install, but the great expertise of Dave did it. Skyrocket are great! From their office staff to their technicians all are competent and professional. Never have I had a service person come into my home and put on booties so they would not track in dirt! Outstanding work! I really appreciate the experienced competent specialists. I watched the work of David from the Skyrocket and realized that he was just such a repairman - experienced, patient, thoughtful. When installing the air conditioner, it is important not to rush and do everything carefully according to the instructions. David did just that. He did not hurry to go to another order, and devoted enough time to my air conditioner. Work done carefully. During installation, there was a lot of garbage, scraps of wires and tubes, but David himself took it all away. I saved Skyrockets card - if I need a repair, I will contact them definitely!

We hired Skyrocket for our furnace repair and it worked for a year or so, but the unit was around 20 years old and it was definitely time to replace it. My entire interaction with Skyrocket was excellent! One of my True refrigerator units in the restaurant went out and I contacted Skyrocket for a quote. They responded almost immediately with an offer to come out and diagnose the problem on the same day. I had to reschedule for a couple days later, but Sam showed up when he said he would, troubleshooted the issue, and gave me options on repairing the unit. He listened to my concerns and, as promised, e-mailed me quote at the following morning.The prices quoted for the repair was way lower than a quote I had gotten from another company. I approved the repair and within 2 days Sam and David was able to come out and do the replacement of the compressor. Labor cost less than what another company quoted for about 50%! Plus you get a Yelp discount if you found them through Yelp (I did!)My staff were there through the process and by the time I went down to the restaurant to check on them later, the refrigerator was up and running. Everybody on kitchen seemed extremely happy with their work and the service. Plus now they gave me 1 year warranty for the part and the labor. He was courteous, neat, professional, knowlegeable and kind. I appreciated that he called ahead to let me know his arrival time was a little later than expected. He and Skyrocket went the extra mile to squeeze us in during a heat wave. He worked late into the night until 9PM, not charging for overtime. Super reasonable rates. My blower fan suddenly quit stopping (only way to stop is at breaker/OFF) due to bad relay, so I called around town. Not only did Skyrocket pick up right away (Mary was so pleasant on TEL) in the morning, they were able to fit me in right away that same late-afternoon. The initial service-call fee was almost half of other places in town, and I love how that fee goes towards the repair (unlike other places charging separately). David (hes also very pleasant/professional) came over for the repair during the scheduled 2hr window, and completed the work on-time & thoroughly. He also had all the necessary parts in his truck (a new circuit board for the main repair, and also a new thermostat that I wanted to replace my ancient one with while at it). No inflated sales pitches - only what I needed (very honest business). Ill call them again with my HVAC repair needs in the future. Highly recommended!

Im a single mom and we dont have any hot water in the house because our heater stopped working. Its awful when you have 2 children! I have a Kenmore Power Mister 9 water heater, and the pilot light wont stay on. My dad said it could be the burner, has ordered the part, but hes not sure. So I called Skyrocket to fix the heater as soon as possible. It turned out my dad was right. So the tech from Skyrocket replaced the part and tuned everything professionaly. Hi! I have a house in San Mateo. I needed to remove my old furnace and install a new one. I asked for a quote on Yelp and got hte estimation from Skyrocket in some 10 minutes! It was awesome! Called Skyrocket to install the furnace. Phoned several companies. Everywhere the nearest installation date was a week later. Skyrocket offered to come in 2 days. But the next day they called me and asked to postpone the installation date for another 2 days. I had to agree, although I really did not like it. Fortunately, the date was no longer transferred. And on Thursday, two guys came to install the furnace. The guys did a great job. The furnace is amazing, the house has become warm and cozy. But I give 4 starsto Skyrocket for the date transfer. It is clear that the guys have a lot of orders, but this does not comfort me. Thank you for warning in advance about moving the date of installation.

Our house is full of children, and like all of them, they constantly break something. This time they got our air conditioner. Of course they twisted all the settings on the control unit. Not for the first time. But this time it was fatal for the air conditioner - we could not adjust everything again. They also managed to throw something into the fan. The fan was spinning somehow, occasionally making a rattle. Had to call repairmen! Something else can be repaired by myself, but only a specialist can fix everything that children have done. Therefore - Skyrocket! And now only Skyrocket! We quickly made an appointment, and the technician arrived on time. First, he took up the disassembly of the fan. He had to replace the impeller, bearing and some other parts. Then, when the system became operational, he set up the thermostat. Everything works as before, and we are very pleased and grateful to Skyrocket!

How did I find Skyrocket? I saw their ad about furnace repair for $245. I had problems with the heater (although it was still working), but I still postponed the call of the master, because I was afraid that there would be an expensive repair. But when I learned that there were fixed prices in Skyrocket, I immediately called them, clarified the details and arranged the visit of the master. For the diagnostics came David. I immediately liked him, he is a very nice guy in communication. After the diagnosis, David replaced the Fan limit control. I paid as agreed - 245 for repairs and another for spare parts. I am pleased with the repair, Skyrocket and David and I can recommend them to everyone!

New Year is a time for good deeds! Skyrocket does good deeds, and I promised them to leave a review about it! It so happened that my washing machine broke down shortly before Christmas. I tried to find repairmen, but all orders are scheduled for the week ahead, and no one works for Christmas, not even me. In Skyrocket, they found time for me and we scheduled a repair for December 26th. I was afraid that a repairman “tired” after the holidays would come and fix it so that I would have to buy a new washer. But an energetic guy came, quickly identified the malfunction and eliminated it. I did not even have time to accumulate a lot of dirty laundry, and the machine has already been repaired! Skyrocket’s refrigeration service is top notch! I gave them a call because I had some troubles with my Trane refrigerator on the backyard. Something was wrong with it and food started spoiling. Water came out from the bottom. I had no idea what was happened. So I called them to made an emergency appointment. Russ sent technician in 30 minutes and I was so thankful for that! George fixed broken control board and replaced relay on it. Glad he had all parts with him and compressor started running after 40 minutes! They saved all food for hundred dollars!

Hi, I’m from evergreen San Jose. I planned to install a new AC and haul off the old one. I asked my friends to recommend me a company specializing on HVAC. Hi, Skyrocket! You remember, you repaired my air duct 2 weeks ago? Im quite satisfied with the repair! We have an HVAC system that is 6 years old. The problem was that our 1st level bedroom and bathroom were not getting much air (hot or cold) coming from the vents. There are 15 vents in total and 4 of them are working bad. I asked the Skyrocket to calculate the cost of repairs. I was given approximate prices, but warned that without a diagnosis in place it was not clear what had broken there. And that the final cost will be determined after the diagnosis. But I can refuse to repair, if the cost does not suit me. Such conditions suit me - everything is fair. I was told that it might be necessary not only to clean the air duct, but also to set up the system. In the end, what happened: they cleaned the air ducts, fixed some fan, plus set up the system again. Now everything works fine on both floors of the house - no problems!

Hello! Broken dryer of a stacked unit has no heat. I called Skyrocket. A young fellow repairman arrived. Very neatly dressed and very polite. About the possible causes of damage I was told by phone. And now the diagnosis took quite a bit of time. The repairman quickly replaced the burned out heater. I was surprised how clearly he worked, how carefully he hold his tools in the bag. Of course, I asked about the job warranty. It turned out that there is a guarantee, and if something happens to the repaired parts, it will be eliminated for free. I can recommend Skyrocket!

One of the homes we listed has a broken downdraft. After searching Yelp, we decided to give Skyrocket a try since they have great reviews and the availability is sooner than others. The community from the office personal to the technician was great. We were lucky enough to get the technician named Nayel. What an awesome person to work with. He found out the problem and ordered the part for us. He was very throughout, sharp, friendly and funny. He took time to explain everything to us. When the part arrived a few days later, he came back and spent hours to make sure everything was working fine. He not only replaced the broken part but also readjusted the downdraft to make sure it moves up and down smoothly so prevent any future issues. He was very respectful of the home and cleaned everything up before he left.We are very glad we found Skyrocket online and had a chance to work with Nayel. Six months ago, Skyrocket installed us HVAC. They worked well and smoothly, quickly installed everything, cleaned up all the garbage, set up the system. We were very pleased with their work. But recently we noticed that our air conditioner works intermittently. We were afraid that our new air conditioner broke down in just half a year of work and called Skyrocket. George arrived and began to check the unit. It turned out that the matter was not in the air conditioner, but in our wiring. George warned us about other risks associated with faulty wiring. In the part relating to the air conditioner, he fixed everything, but he said about the rest of the wiring that he had no right to do it and said to call the electricians. As a result, we paid for diagnostics more than for repairs, and it took more time to diagnose. AC started working as it should. We are so grateful to Skyrocket and George!

Skyrocket - Great company! My new AC system at a rental property froze up and werent able to get any cool air. I asked a tech from Skyrocket to come and check it. George opened system up and found a huge iceberg on the condenser. He had smth special to melt it. He checked the system out and started to fill the coolant. He finished the job fairly quickly! Hi from Santa Clara!My GE AC was working fine then the cooling weakened, it happened in the evening. Then it was barely cooler than ambient air. I called Skyrocket hvac repair the next day, cuz nothing changed with my AC.The technician seemed to be smart and experienced in such cases. He found a leak in my AC. He welded it and filled the system with R22. I payed for nitrogen test, welding and freon. The diagnosis was free. I needed a/c repair and found Skyrocket. My Bryant a/c stopped cooling. Compressor fan blade was running, fuses are OK, thermostat is OK, but no cold air. They told me that it could be a motor issue or lack of freon. The guy from your company checked the motor and the compressor first, it was OK. Than he checked the pressure and refilled freon. The price was fair: labor fee and for the coolant (per pound). Quality job, highly recommend!

These guys from Skyrocket are good! especially Dave! we have a gas furnace and there was a gas leak from our furnace for several months. No one could figure out where it was coming from. But Dave did it! He was very thorough, careful and found the problem. How could he do it? I see his huge experience and knowledge. and such a Master must have a Talent! I see he has! Its not enough to be very good at understanding the furnaces, it is important to have logical thinking and experience. Of course, David with him had all the necessary equipment, and a gas analyzer, and a pressure gauge, and all this also helped him. But watching his work, I saw that a person does not rush about in panic, looking for a malfunction, but follows a certain algorithm. We have a dual zone wine fridge and the bottom red wine section stopped cooling. (Zip 95110) I tried to poke the wires myself, but there was no effect. Turned it off and on - it still does not work. Regrettably, but had to call repairmen. I prepared to wait a long time for them to come to me, to appoint and cancel meetings several times. But there was nothing like that! On Friday morning, phoned, on Saturday afternoon, in front of my house the Skyrocket van parked. This immediately improved my mood, I thought that everything would go smoothly further. In December, we needed to install hvac in our new home.This is a big and responsible work, so we carefully prepared and selected a contractor. Consultation was needed both on the choice of the system itself and on the installation options. First, we consulted with the seller on the choice of the system, then began to look for an installer. The seller advised us to contact Skyrocket, and some of our friends advised us to call Skyrocket. But unfortunately we spent another week on consultations and estimates from other companies. And in the end, chose Skyrocket. They offered 3 installation options, the cost also differed. As a result, we chose the best option in terms of price-quality. In total, the installation took two days - because the guys were able to start in the afternoon. They worked together, clearly and harmoniously. They had all the tools with them. I did not notice that they had any difficulties installing the system. Everything was clear and according to plan. By the time of the work, I was also warned that for such a house they could not to cope in half a day. After installation, we made a test launch and system setup. Everything worked as it should and works to this day without complaints. I did not write a review immediately after the end of the work, despite the fact that I really wanted to share positive emotions. But I decided first to make sure that the work was done qualitatively. Now Im sure and I can fully recommend Skyrocket!

Our heater stopped working on the coldest night! As it usually happens. Called for an appointment, they were able to come out the next morning. Technician arrived on time, was very friendly and professional. He changed the battery in a thermostat, and a filter in the vent, then he went to restart the whole system. So we got heat! He also took extra precaution to test for carbon monoxide because we have a small child. I was only charged the $70 service charge I agreed on, to send someone out. The technician said he didnt do anything so he wasnt charging me more than that. However he did do something - when he arrived we had no heat and when he left our thermostat was rising. Very kind and I would highly recommend!

Hi there! Last week the weather was so-so. More precisely, it was already cold and rainy. The whole family gathered at home because of the holidays. Parents came to us. I had to turn on the full heating. Then one became hot, the other was stuffy, the third was cold. Changed modes in all rooms. And this was the last straw for our hvac. At the end of December, it began to work not in the way we needed, but as it would have to, somehow. I had to call the guys from Skyrocket. Of course, I did not want to do repairs on holidays. But there was no way out. I did not want to breed dirt in the house and spend several days talking with repairmen. But everything turned out faster and easier. David came to us, examined the entire system in half an hour, made a diagnosis, and spent another hour replacing some parts and adjusting the system. It turned out that there was no major damage, but several minor ones happened. Therefore, the repair cost was not as expensive as I was afraid. Skyrocket was able to come out quickly (literally the same day) and resurrect my dead A/C. It was a extremely hot day (90s) and having young kids and pets in the house, getting the A/C back on was a huge priority for us. I have a samsung vrt washer. It doesnt spin when I start washing. It is located in Cambrian Park, San Jose. Who will come to me the fastest and fix it, I thought. I do not want to advertise Google, but Google knows! I searched for repairmen on the map, read reviews, phoned several companies. I liked the way they talked to me in Skyrocket. No arrogance towards the client, they all explained in simple language. As for the price, they also immediately said that the price for work was fixed, but they wont tell me the final price right away - different parts may be needed. In general, I decided to try Skyrocket. Fortunately, I did not have to regret my decision. Skyrocket was on top! Agreed that the master will come on Tuesday at about 11 am. About half an hour later, David called me and said that he was going, it would be on time. David tested various machine components, found the broaken one and replaced it. I am very pleased with his work. Quickly, efficiently, two weeks have passed - everything works without complaints

The worst thing that can break in the house is the refrigerator. Imagine you have 5 people in the house and a bunch of food in the fridge. And suddenly the refrigerator defrosts and doesnt show signs of life! The refrigerator was under warranty. I called the seller, and I was assigned a repair date for the end of March. The end of March? You are kidding? Its good that Skyrocket already repaired my furnace, so the first thing I called them. On the same day they couldnt go to me. But the next day they arrived, found out that the starting relay was defective (thank God, not the compressor) And changed it. Of course, the food had to be rescued urgently, because the whole day the refrigerator was unfrozen. But its not a week to wait with a faulty refrigerator. I am grateful to Skyrocket - they helped out!

San Jose is so hot that my air conditioner, according to the Murphys law, stopped cooling the air . I started looking for guys who can come right today and see what happened - no one can, everyone is busy. I left an application for Yelp, I was answered by several companies. But on the same day no one can come. How should I survive in this heat without the AC? I hardly managed to come to an agreement with Skyrocket, so that they drove by in the evening to me. My Samsung dryer was making a very loud squealing noise. I called skyrocket repair and asked them how much they charge for the diagnose and repair. Their price suited me and best of all i liked that diagnose was free with a repair. And one more detail. The phone operator told me the possible reason of the issue - idler pulley. And he said they have fixed prices and labor fee for this issue is $185. +part. It ended up paying off this very sum and not expensive for parts. So im quite satisfied with their job! 5 stars!

Really impressed with David! He was able to come out the same day, working around my schedule. He not only fixed the AC problem, but he also identified and fixed a problem with the dishwasher that had drain pump failure. He just brought a new part from his truck and installed in 30 min! When the air conditioner broke down and began to blow warm air, I asked my brother to see what was wrong with it. My brother began setting up the thermostat, trying to change the settings.It did not help.Then he disassembled the air conditioner unit and began to check something there with a tester. All in vain.As a result, by the arrival of the tech from Skyrocket, problems with air conditioning only increased. Excellent! I needed our entire 2 unit system replaced, all new ductwork, attic insulation, and replacement of 2 attic fans. I spent almost a month having companies come out to provide estimates. Of the 8 companies who came out to provide estimates, only about 3 actually returned one. Of those, Davids price was thousands less than the best estimate, and included everything whereas the other estimates were just for the units. But thats not the reason I went with David. I went with David because of all those who came out to provide estimates, David was the only non-salesman. He completed the job when he said he would, and exceeded my expectations. It’s 102 degree today and my AC went down at about 3pm. At 5pm, I texted David since I had a great experience with him last time and he shown up at 7 and get the job done in 30 min. He told me the possible reason and the quote for fixing it before he started the work. Whiling fixing on the AC, he also explained what could cause the problem which was very informative. They also offer 3 months warranty which is great. I highly recommend the service. It will be worth calling them when your AC/heater is down.

It became colder and I started using heating mode in my hvac. When I turned on heat, I heard clicking sounds, but the full fan does not turn on. I asked guys from Skyrocket to come and take a look. It was the 2d time I called Skyrocket – the 1st time there was another problem with my AC some months ago. David came and found that the relay and some other detailes was burnt. He inspected all the system to find the reason. Actually he explained everything but I’m a lady – I don’t care about such detailes. And of course I trust David so much. We were looking for someone to help repair out KitchenAid dishwasher. The heavy duty light was blinking rapidly, but not to any pattern. Previously it was the start and cancel button blinking rapidly. Weve tried unplugging and also resetting following instructions we found online, but no success. David from Skyrocked came just in time, tested the appliance and decided to replace control pannel. But he also said that if we have some time he could try to fix the pannel. We agreed. So as the result the pannel was fixed and it was much cheaper than replacement with a new one. So if you have doubts - ask Skyrocket if they can fox the part without replacement.

The ice maker in our 2011 maytag refrigerator has stopped working. The mechanism makes noise like it is delivering ice, but there doesnt appear to be any water. We checked the water flow and it seems to be okay. We have had issues with ice cubes being only partially filled, and then nothing. I had no idea about fixing it.And no idea about whome to call. I have a furnace that developed a strange vibration. So I called SkyRocket to perform a diagnostic. They scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out. This was tough as it meant the furnace would have to be off for this entire time and me and my family would have to look for alternatives to stay warm.When the tech David B. arrived, he inspected the furnace and said the blower motor shaft was likely not straight anymore and is causing an imbalance on the blower. He said it will need to be replaced. He estimated the labor cost would be $575. Ouch! That was a tough price to swallow, but looking at other options would mean we would be left out in the cold for a longer time so I said ok.It took him about 2 hours to replace the blower. In most service industries (ie - car mechanics, contractors) the labor rate is typically around $100 to $150 per hour.When it came time to settle, he stuck with the labor price of $575. At this point, the labor price seemed a bit excessive. So I asked if he could itemize the labor. He said that because I agreed to the price up front, that I was stuck with it.Afterwards, I checked the price list on their website and the cost for replacing a blower was $325. NOT $575! I called the main office and they said the price sheet online was out of date (the price has of course changed since my call). See the attached photo for the price list at the time.They also said that because I agreed to the initial estimate that I was stuck with it. After discussing this discrepancy for some time, they agreed to refund me $200.In the end, the work was performed in a timely manner and the issue was resolved. They gave me a 6 month parts and labor warranty.So I cant say they are a bad company. It the end, they corrected their mistake.
