I’ve been calling for a week about a property listed on Zillow and no one has gotten back to me…. There’s only one number to contact and no one gets back to you at all. I really want this apartment and would sign a lease literally today but no response. I’ve requested a tour all week what is with this

Please read the reviews and dont waste your time. Once you finally get in touch with an agent, some will ignore your questions and others will tell you they cant make a virtual tour the day of. I got fed up and moved on to rent elsewhere
Its a bit difficult to get in contact with this company. Ive emailed their generic email box multiple times and havent been able to get a response that way. Also tried the text system and was told someone would contact me. I would really appreciate if someone could contact me as I am trying to sign a lease asap.Update: Someone contacted me. Thank you!

2023-07-12 18:53:59EDIT: Wish I could give zero stars. After weeks of no response, I was finally able to see the unit. The pictures looks NOTHING like it in person. If it wasnt so dishonest it might be funny. To give you an idea, the pictures theyve posted show wood/laminate floors, sleek and totally renovated/brand new bathrooms... In reality theres dirty brown carpet throughout and old, yellowing bathrooms.Tried getting in touch with an agent for three weeks about a unit they advertised. Calls and e-mails go unanswered.

I left several voicemail message, submitted multiple tour request on Zillow and their own websites. NO ONE has got back to me.Not sure how they are running the business, but this is definitely not the right way to treat your clients. If you are not opened toward the public, take your listing down, it will save time for both parties. Please do not just leave your customer waiting in your voicemail.

The day I wrote this review they reached out and I was able to tour an apartment and within 48 hours I signed my lease :) they are super nice, super helpful and very attentive. I had just gotten out of a long term relationship and I needed a new place ASAP and they were able to help me out. I’m so appreciative! They did mention that they got a new phone system, so no one else should have any issue getting in touch anymore. Thank you skylight team!!! I love my new place

2022-08-22 17:37:26Similar to everyone else, I tried easily 7-10x to reach someone for a tour of an apartment I was interested in. I was out of town when I saw the ad so I even submitted an application for the apartment before viewing. Never heard anything back until I commented on their Instagram. They called me and said an agent would get in touch with me soon. Its been over 24hrs and still nothing. Apartments in LA move fast so I dont understand the lack of interest in actually renting these places. At this point Im giving up and continuing my search with people who are more responsiveUpdate: they eventually got in contact with me and scheduled a tour. 30 mins before it I texted to confirm and they responded oh the apartment has been rented. So no one was going to let me know before I showed up. AND I had submitted an application weeks prior to no response but now someone else is renting it? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! Skylight Homes is a terrible company to deal with

2023-01-03 03:13:10I applied for a unit with skylight on December 11th after viewing it twice and was told the application was submitted and waiting for approval. I followed up for 3 days and was told they were “working on my application.” On the 14th, after paying the $100 in application fees, I was told that the unit was never actually available. I asked for a refund of my fees and was told they could only refund via Venmo or PayPal. After following up 4 times throughout the month and being ignored, it’s now January 2023 and I have yet to receive a refund for the fees. Very dishonest company, wouldn’t recommend doing business with them at all.

Jason from Skylight reached out to me personally via phone and email after seeing my initial review to rectify the situation and explained the cause of the issue with the new phone service they were testing out. Since our conversation, he has gone above and beyond to assist with my search.Original Review: As another reviewer has mentioned, I have tried to schedule a tour of multiple properties with this company via text, but I keep receiving the same automated message repeatedly and after 3 days have still not been able to speak to a real person or get something scheduled. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

2022-06-23 09:16:30Same experience as people below. I have sent at least 20 messages (no exaggeration) between text and email about one property I’m interested in. They ask for more details, I give it to them and then a few hours later I receive automated responses. Over and over again. I have still not been put in contact with an agent for a property I’ve been interested in for over a week.No luck on their phones either. Frustrating and a waste of time!
