Sky River RV Santa Maria are now part of the family. They were great to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we got the very best deal and knew what we were buying. They were kind, friendly and bent over backwards for us. Our experience started with Old Steve showing us exactly what we were looking for... giving us the pros and cons, then Angel Valenzuela went over the financing, finding us deals where there were no deals and then giving us even a better deal. Then the technician, Conrad showed us from top to bottom all the bells, whistles, buttons and gadgets on our new 5th wheel. We purchased a travel trailer from Sky River, and worked with Shawn D. he was fantastic to work with answered all our questions, met us at two different locations to look at trailers, the care he shows for the customer and their needs with out the pressure of buying was great. We also had the opportunity to work with Nilton S. in financing, who made the process easy to understand and answered all our questions and was very courteous. I arrived with a problem with my propane refrigeration. They managed to fit me in on short notice, Oscar did excellent work not only with that problem, but also fixing a few other minor problems in short order. Daisy managed to fit my work into their tight schedule, Chris oversaw the work and was tremendously helpful. The atmosphere here is customer centered, friendly! 5 star in every respect.

The only reason Im giving 5 stars is there is no option for 10. There is no substitute for integrity and these guys have it. I scraped a tree and needed a new ladder put on. To get an exact match would have taken a couple weeks from the manufacturer. These guys did some creative engineering and put on a longer one than the original. Chris S. and Troy in service are magicians. As busy as they are they made me feel like me and my problems were important. Cant say enough good things about them.

We were having a heck of a time with our RVs water heater, and Craig was SO helpful!! Our overheat valve kept spraying hot water outside (see photo) and we were panicked. He reassured us that it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do, and guided us to getting the correct parts we needed (and an extension piece to help us take longer showers!), installed them for us REALLY quickly, explained everything in a way we understood, and now everything works great! Its amazing how much better you feel after a hot shower, and we owe that relief to Craig at Sky River! Wed recommend him for sure to anyone who needs RV advice!

Steer clear of these hustlers. They sold us $100,000 toy hauler telling us all about the solar and getting lost in the desert and how it is all self-sustaining and none of the outlets work unless you buy an inverter. They forgot to tell us that. They gave us a guy to drop it off who showed up on drugs and got, the unit stuck. They sold us a service contract saying that they’ll come out anytime but then later told us that we’re not close enough for them to service the contract. After all these problems, and all these issues, they haven’t stepped up to do a single thing and they just try and upsell us more overpriced upgrades

Weve never been to SkyRiver before and I called with a last-minute showstopper: Needed a new brake controller the day before my trip!!! They miraculously had the parts on hand for my vehicle *and* installed it same day. I know thats uncommon, but it was good luck and the whole team was excellent about helping get it done. Troy is the man! I recently replaced my aux batteries. In doing so I failed to reinstall one of the power cables. As such my jacks would not retract not could I close my slide out. He took the time to walk me through a diagnosis. He was very patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Five months ago, I easily would have given Sky River Santa Maria one star, preferably zero stars. Jamie, one of the service advisors, was the bane of our existence. Zero communication, one million excuses, blank-faced when asked about the progress on our trailer. It was a miserable and aggravating four-month experience working with her. Once the new service manager, Troy, started working there and he put us with a different service advisor, Chris, everything changed. Chris and Troy gave exemplary five-star customer service and made sure that our issue was promptly handled. For reference, Jamie held onto our packet for about 3/4 months and never called us for an update. Once Troy and Chris took over our problem, we were out of there in a few weeks with no issues. We live in our trailer full time, so the stress, aggravation, and lack of communication took its toll on us. If you need work done, Chris is the man to see. Thank you, Troy and Chris, for all your help and for making our home livable again!

UPDATE #2: Angel, the GM, just called me and told me that they are not going to “do me a favor” and submit a warranty claim for my roof leak because it would be “illegal” on the account of the wood chip that was found. Why is it illegal to submit my original warranty claim for the roof leak with pictures of failure of manufacturer calking and the entire roof? This is so confusing and shady. Save yourself. 🥲UPDATE: 2 stars to 1 star - I just found out yesterday after being put off for months that the leak I reported to dealership was not reported to manufacturer. Now I’ve had water in my roof due to their negligence for nearly a year with no solution in sight. This leak happened a month after I purchased and should have been addressed immediately. Whoever the owner is, please help.Thank you to Craig and Kyle - the service managers - for your patience and guidance through the warranty process. Though, it was a headache to get started, and took over a month to be updated on my roof leak. It’s unfortunate that Dan, the sales manager at the Pismo location, chose to be unfriendly and unprofessional when I was in urgent need of help. My brand new trailer had a serious leak 3 weeks after my purchase, and though that’s valid grounds for wanting to return it, I chose to go through the warranty process with Sky River. Rather than listening and consulting the team, Dan repeatedly told me that it was my fault due to a wood chip that had been found in the roof. Though finding the wood chip in the roof is true, I was told by Craig that there were also multiple manufacturer failures in the roof caulking - where the leak is. Dans communication was unnecessary and belittling. My warranty was approved for manufacturer failure and I’ll be having panels and insulation replaced. I was treated as a nuisance and waited on calls that were never made. So much time wasted. Unfortunately, I do not recommend purchasing at Sky River.

First of all, Santa isnt really RV friendly. I couldnt find a dump station open on Saturday.I need a new toilet seal, so I stopped by Sky River Rv. As Im driving in, I came across a salesman named Max. He had customers he was with, but they were looking at an RV, so he told me everything I needed to know(Im seeing Max for my next RV) I went into the parts department go my toilet seal. The parts guy got everything going (replacing the seal, getting me emptied) he directed me to the service writer Chris, who was amazing. He made sure everything was perfect. BIG plus, hes quite funny. Craig, the service manager, got right in there and did that nasty job with Dustin. They replaced the toilet seal, emptied all back and gray tanks, and cleaned them, I might add. When they were finished, Craig (SM) asked if I had my roof inspection, I said no, I just bought it last year (2021), and he said it needs inspection every 4 month. He did a free roof inspection and found a bunch of cracks around the skylight.I had them reseal it. The entire extremely pleasant experience was very well priced $$$

I took my 2012 Forest River toy hauler in to Chris for a free roof inspection. I pretty much knew that it needed a recoat. Their price was very fair so I had them do it.When I picked it up a few days later the roof looked fantastic! And my trailer was even washed.The technician that did the work was Victor, he explained the whole process and was very polite and informative.Thank you all so much for a very positive experience.

I am very disappointed with Sky River RV. We purchased a very expensive 5th wheel. 6 months later we are having several issues. This RV is actually our home, as expressed at time of purchase. We were told that they would take care of having someone come to us for repairs. Now they are stating they do not offer a mobile service and the only way they can help is if we bring it in. Not an option for us, as we expressed at time of purchase. They have basically dismissed us and will not help at all. We now have to deal with the manufacturer. I will never purchase anything from Sky River again! Im very disappointed

I needed to have a skylight replaced and my propane lines checked on my 5th wheel for suspected leaks. Since they were looking at the propane lines, I requested an external quick disconnect installation too. Upon inspection of the skylight it was determined that I also needed a new skin on the roof (which I was dreading, but expecting since the coach is 9 years old). Chris walked me through all of the repairs needed and gave me a reasonable and comprehensive estimate. During the repair work, Chris and the technician called me about the propane issue I was having and explained what needed to be done to fix it. It all made sense and everything was repaired on time and under the original estimated. This was easily the best RV repair experience I’ve ever had over our 35 years of RV ownership of 6 different RVs from trailers, to motor homes, to 5th wheels.I highly recommend Skyriver RV service.

Sales was very attentive and were bending over backwards to make a sale. Almost $40,000 later I left with a unit that I wanted but I was missing one key and a propane hose for the outdoor kitchen. (About $25.00 worth). Service dept. promised that I would have them within a week. Several calls, empty promises and two months later, I am still waiting. Ill update if and when I get my parts.

I stop by Sky River Santa Maria and wanted to know the cost to have a solar system installed on my 2021 Jayco Eagle Trailer 28.5 fifth wheel.Chris was great help explaining the benefits of having a solar system, We talk about the equipment needed and I decided to have one installed. He was able to get back to me in couple of days with the complete cost. He knew what we needed and was able to have it ordered. The installation team did a great job installing the panels, inverter and display unit. After the installation the service manage Craig Pellegrin on a busy day, took time to come out and explain how the system works. I really appreciate the overall service I received and will recommend their service. Thanks again P.S Just got back from camping and the solar system work great.

On Christmas, I discovered a serious problem with my new trailer (manufacturing error). I was supposed to leave for a family trip to the Grand Canyon the next day. I emailed Sky River and got a response fromChris Smith the day after Christmas (his day off). Chris got me in right when they opened up after Christmas. When I arrived, Chris greeted me in the parking lot with an umbrella (perfect gentleman), and the repair personnel had the problem fixed before lunch. I took my trailer to have my slide out fixed and I spoke with Chris. When I dropped the trailer off Chris asked how quick I needed the trailer done. During the time that they were working on it Chris called to update me on the progress and let me know when it would be done. When it came time for me to pick up the trailer Chris called and asked what time I wanted to pick it up. When I got there he made sure that the trailer was washed and the tires were armoralled. The repairs that were done were excellent and without me asking, Chris recommended some things that I could be doing to help to prevent repairs in the future. I have had horrible experiences with other repair companies, but I could not have been more satisfied with Sky River Santa Maria rv. Chris is the absolute best when it comes to customer service. Great job to this business!!!!!

Dealership is not true to their words... Discussion about price and options. Then after the salesman spoke with the manager they decide to change theirs offer and there is now a 6000$ difference in price 🙄 Be aware of those sales tactics that everyone universally hate... They are using it. Would not recommend you will not end up with a fair price and they will waste your time and energy.
