Dr. Lloyd basically fixed damage done by another provider after 1 treatment. Also she’s real about options and doesn’t waste time. Her clinic is adequately staffed and her staff is refreshingly competent and efficient.

Dr Lloyd is wonderful! Originally went to see her for annual skin cancer exam. She was very easy to talk to. Decided to see her for a very specific issue and for suggestions for current treatments (if any). She listened and made some recommendations even though this ended up not being an Derm issue. After a couple of follow-up visits I am experiencing positive results! I am grateful for her taking the time to work with me and highly recommend her.

Staff are kind, friendly and always available to answer questions.Dr. Lloyd is always on time so there is no waiting.Dr. Lloyd takes her time not only to fully explain procedures, but listens to questions and concerns no matter how many times I asked the same questions 😬.The results from my procedure (veins on my legs) are amazing! I only needed one treatment.I give Dr. Lloyd and her team 10 stars out of 5 😉Julie

Dr. Lloyd is great. She’s very thorough and I like her approaches. I see her for acne/acne scaring solutions and yearly checks for moles/sun exposure. She answers questions pretty detailed and has a great bedside manner. Her front desk staff is efficient and on top of it as well! I definitely recommend, especially living in southern CA, you can never be too careful and should take the time to get checked every year!

I just finished my second endevenous ablation laser treatment for varicose veins. Not only did Dr Lloyd, her nurse and Cesar (ultrasound technician ) do an excellent job making it close to pain free, but her and her staff really worked with my insurance to get coverage for the treatment. Those girls at the front desk are so welcoming and a joy to work with. I am excited to see and feel the results from the 1st areas treated when the compression stockings are off. Thank you Dr Lloyd for answering all my questions and making the experience safe and as “fun” as possible.

Have been a regular patient of Dr. Lloyd for several years and could not be happier to have found her once moving to the area. She came to us highly recommended and has been critical in regular monitoring and addressing my years of sun damage. In fact, she now sees our entire family and her staff has always been great, particularly with my younger child.

Dr. Lloyd is outstanding! She’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to; every appointment has been exemplary from start to finish, and her demeanor and expertise really put you at ease. Her office is beautiful as well, and you can tell her staff loves working with her, which is always a good sign!

Dr. Amanda Loyd is awesome! I had been dealing with moderate to severe psoriasis on my hands for over a year and after seeing 3 other dermatologists here in San Diego, Dr. Loyd was finally able to help me find relief. The other doctors sent me through a series of different topical prescription creams, none of which seemed to do the job and some even made my condition worse. Dr. Loyd took the time to really understand my symptoms from the first day I was in her office. There was no guessing, and she prescribed me exactly what I needed to feel relief almost immediately. I cant thank her and her team enough!! Her office and staff are very welcoming, and were accommodating when I had to reschedule an appointment; they got me back in that same week. I recommend anyone who needs a good dermatologist in town to call their office right away! Thank you Dr. Loyd and staff!!

Dr Lloyd is a great listener and treats you with respect. It is great seeing a doctor who sees you as a person and not another number! I have a lot of skin cancer and have 100% confidence I will always get the best treatment. Her office staff is fabulous too!

My mother had some type of mole or growth on her forehead. Dr. Lloyd quickly diagnosed the mole as benign. She also examined my mothers whole body for any other type of skin issues. Dr. Lloyd was very professional and had good bedside manner. The waiting room is very pleasant. Her staff is great as well. Reasonable rates.

Dr Amanda Lloyd is an amazing dermatologist. I have been to several dermatologists throughout my life and she exceeds them all. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, has incredible equipment to treat different kinds of skin needs as well as an expert in Botox, and all kinds of injectables . She is an absolute artist in that arena . She is fun and always seem so joyful and happy. It’s a very welcoming environment.. Her staff is kind and very accommodating when you call for an appointment. Highly recommend her!

The Skin & Vein Institute has everything that you will need when considering an excellent skin care facility. They have a fabulous spa-like office suite where you can watch videos on how-to take the best care of your skin, you can treat yourself to a cup of tea, or check out the new mini skin care items in the sample bowl!The Skin & Vein Institute for me; I appreciate that Dr. Amanda Lloyd always takes the extra time to explain the cosmetic procedures (that I have chosen) in detail until I am comfortable and ready to proceed. Then she will talk me through it letting me know what she is using, why, what I can expect and the healing process. I like the fact that if I should have a problem after the procedure I can reach Dr. Lloyd by phone and find out what I should do. That is a big plus in my book!Her knowledgeable office staff helps me choose the best skin products and provides samples for me to try. If I have a question or need an appointment they are very accommodating they schedule the date, get the question answered, send me an email, send me a calendar reminder...it’s all very efficient & hi-tech.I am so happy that I met Dr Amanda and have had her successfully complete several skin treatments on my face, forehead, hands & lips, etc...I think that it’s the start of a long heathy Skin & Vein relationship!!!Respectfully,Dr. Nancy Biasotti

I had a mole which I was concerned with so I went to Dr. Lloyd. She did a full exam of my body and froze the mole off. Also suggested another procedure. He and her whole team were professional and friendly. The office is clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend
