The biggest and best six flags ever. We have been to several six flags locations and this is our favorite by far. We got flash passes to cut the line and the meal deal to make sure we saved money. The rides are amazing, especially Full Throttle. To ride that is a must. Ended the day with a funnel cake, which is a family tradition. We will be back when we get a chance

We were in California on an unexpected trip, and since we had all park season passes for Six Flags, we wanted to check this park out. We are so glad we did! What a wonderful park with incredible rides, thrills and views! We are coaster enthusiasts and this park blew us away with the coaster lineup! I was nervous to ride X2, but the view from the top of the lift hill, around sunset, was breathtaking! I am so thankful that we were able to visit this park and make wonderful memories here!

Before I explain my 4 star review, just know that it was a 5-star day because I made the best of a bad situation, and it was a bad situation. First, understaffing had locations we looked forward to, closed. The staff that were there had no idea what they were doing, where anything was, I asked about the fast pass and cash kiosks five times, got absolutely no answers. When getting food, the staff working were very hard to communicate with, again had no idea what was going on when we tried to use our meal passes everybody was confused they had to get a supervisor. Now, there were positives, the ride operators were great, they were lively, fun, knowledgeable, and excited to be there. I want to give this place 5-stars just because of the ride operators and the amazing roller coasters but the food service staff, etc.. made it hard to enjoy those aspects of the park. I recommend though, because the rides are so much fun. I’ll be going again and maybe I’ll add another star.

My family and I decided on getting season passes since it’s near home and fun. We had so much fun, I was disappointed on the food areas being dirty, they don’t clean up at all, and most of the kids area was not taken care of, so much maintenance needed and a lot of rides don’t work, we are looking forward to go back, have fun and maybe they can start cleaning and maintaining the place better.

This park is 100% recommend for adrenaline junkies. It holds some of the best coasters in the U.S. however, for those of you that prefer a park with more varied rides like simulators and shows then this one isnt for you. There is absolutely nothing here for adults other than white knuckle rides. Also Its built on a mountain so if you have any mobility issues go to Florida.

Really great time at Magic Mountain. For a guy who loves coasters this is like the go-to park. The rides were amazing, as well as the food. Although quite expensive its usually how it is at every theme park. I recommend buying tickets before hand that way when the park is open you can get on some of the rides you spotted on the way in first. Died down around dinner time though. Thank you Magic Mountain for an amazing experience and will 100% come back when Im back in L.A!

Always so fun! They have the best rides. The food could be better. They don’t have many food options. Staff were friendly. Also, they had many rides that weren’t working even some of the newer ones we hadn’t been on. That was a bummer. However, went on a Monday when kids were in school and there were hardly any crowds we got on so many rides! Best to go during the week.

Its my first time here. memberships and day passes are not clear to understand. For entry by car they charge you $40 per person to park 2 miles from the park entrance. The lines are long (I went on a Tuesday). The food is expensive and poor quality. come on! If you charge expensive, at least could be of regular quality? I bought the middle fast pass ($100) and i did wait in line anyway? Also you have to get an appointment to ride. Once you have used your fast pass ticket to ride, you can get another. I completly understand that you are a roller coaster monopoly but you dont even offer a decent service. Im not basically complaining about the prices, I know I can go and pay it but the price-quality ratio is disastrous. I cant imagine how expensive an entire family has to pay to wait in line all day!

So we took my two boys 11&20 along with my 15 yr old daughter as well as some cousins ranging from 16-21. They all had a BLAST!!!. Got there about 12 and shut it down at like 515.(Park closed at 6) Nea advice besides sunscreen and to prepare for hills. Get the unlimited food pass. Between our entire party of 12. 8 kids and 4 adults. We got 4 passes that have unlimited drinks and food every 90 minutes. Did chicken fingers one meal. Milk shakes another meal and funnel cakes. Everybody wasnt stuffed but they werent hungry. Great time weather was outstanding

Best roller coasters on the west coast! Same money and but tickets online to get free upgrades to year pass! Get the one with parking, if you dont its 40 Dollars to park alone! Get the cup with free refills all day its totally worth it, 17.50 for one beer!

May 2024: Still the king of coasters and while service and quality has taken a dip over the last several years, in terms of care/upkeep with the park theming/paint/etc, it seems to be taking a turn for the better this season. More rides are opening, parking lot is getting shaded via solar panels & some great season-pass promos like days of old. Paint and furniture/food seem to have had some care given; that being said, theres still a long way to go to get the place up to 90s standards.5 stars for the rides4 stars for new tech/mobile app improvements3.5 stars for service, including customer service *at the park, with humans*3 stars for merch/souvenirs2.5 stars for value of food1 star for online support/website

We are diamond 💎 pass holders and have been for many years. My 9&10 year olds have become roller coaster enthusiasts like myself. The diamond pass allows you to go to any park in the country and due to our travels is pretty awesome as we always visit multiple parks in a year.This diamond 💎 annual pass is an amazing value considering what you get in addition to unlimited entry at any park. We get free parking (worth the cost alone after only a couple trips), 20% off most retail and food and beverage (very needed due to the outrageous food prices) a seasons drink bottle (dont forget the bottles) and some other cool stuff.As for Magic mountain, they have some of the best roller coasters in one park compared to a lot of other places. We actually build our vacations around six flags.There are not a lot of non-coaster rides so I get that it isnt for everyone. We go before they open as a diamond 💎 pass holder they let us in a few minutes early, usually enough to get a couple rides before the throngs get there.Over the years,we have learned to go during weekdays, arrive early and stay late. On hotter days we will take a break for a couple hours and return. At the end of the day we can usually find a ride like Batman that doesnt have a big crowd and get 6-9 rides back to back....LOVE IT! We do this in Liu of the fast pass as it just isnt cost effective for us anymore.To Six Flags, in an effort to make our experience even better and continue your value-proposition leadership, please note the following.1 ride times - they are rarely accurate or even close to accurate. In an IoT world there are multiple ways you can automate this in near real time...please do so. (If you need advice, contact me)2 food costs - obviously a profit center for you however it isnt even close to a good value. We try our best to not eat more than one meal at the park as its too expensive. Its so bad we would be willing to walk to the car, leave to eat somewhere else and return. We are a family of 3 and with a 9&10 year old, our lunches average $65 before discount. The food isnt anywhere near good enough quantity nor quality to charge that. Please lower your prices to the $10-$15 range and if you have to reduce quantity to achieve that price. Or provide a deeper discount for diamond 💎 pass holders...On one day, we spent more than the cost of the seasons pass just to eat, and two of us got sick due to the food.3 fast pass - in a way I wish you could do away with it or offer some alternatives to the types of passes. I would be willing to pay the same cost of the seasons pass for a flash pass usable in all parks for a year like our diamond 💎 pass. Maybe offer a bundle for a discount on Black Friday or Christmas.4 online pass sales - for two years in a row now i tried purchasing our passes at an amazing discount over Black Friday and again over Christmas. It wouldnt let me know matter how I tried, even tried 3 different cards. There were never numbers to call and the errors always told me that I had to go to the park to purchase. Well, we dont live in a state with a park so thats terribly inconvenient. Both times we ended up paying full retail price for our passes at time of visit. Thats not fair, I tried multiple times and your platform didnt work. Why should I be penalized for that.Please either send the failed transaction purchaser a phone number to conclude transaction via phone or email us a rain check or discount code we can use at the park that matches the discount at time of purchase. May not sound like a big deal but both times it costs me over $200 more to pay full retail when I wanted them for Christmas gifts. This actually should be item #1.Anyway, to anyone considering Disney or Paramount or other parks, consider the great value and amazing rides of all six flags but specifically Magic Kingdom. They even have two parks at the same location!

The thrill capital of the world was indeed an amazing time. The park was overall in good condition with only one major coaster down on a Sunday in March. The staff were engaging and helpful. Was able to ride the majority of coasters with minimal waits minus two due to one train ops on most coasters.

First class from start to finish ... Totally enjoyable experience all round, staff were 1st class always helpful and kind.. The only one little gripe the walk from the drop off to the Ecv hire was too far for me, having to stop to get my breath several times and back pain was excruciating. Maybe a booth outside by drop off point for Ecv hire would be more helpful to disabled guests... That aside we travelled from UK and was the highlight of our vacation especially for my husband who loves roller coasters.

Always used to be one of my favorite parks but . Standing in 90+ degree weather with misters off, no shade covering over lines, rides closed down . Just not the experience we use to love . I hope they learn to manage better and for the very least invest in the comfort of those who pay so that they return and leave with enjoyable experiences . Someone legit in front of me is overheating and on the floor being cared by other people in line .

Very nice experience in the park with the beat rollercoasters i had... ever!Ever since i played rollercoaster and this park, had the wish to come here! And it did beat my expectation, by a lot! Many rolletcoasters to choose from and all very exciting and top level experience.Been to many parks in europe, but had the best coasters here. The rides here are pretty cool for the most part and the lines werent too bad. However, some of the older rides ex. viper really needs upgrades. When riding that ride, the seats had no cushioning on the headrest and was pretty much plastic and the ride was very rough. Also the park management needs some work, the front areas are pretty busy, but the farther you go back the more dead it seems. Many of the rides were not operational, like X2 or the superman ride which I was really hoping to ride. I also really disliked how the rides had no wait time indicators except they had a screen with a long list of rides and their wait times. These screens are not placed strategically at all though. Overall, six flags really needs some work with upgrades and renovation, but my favorite rides are Katsu and Goliath.

It was my first time going to six flags, I passed out over 6 times on rides because I’m not much of a roller coaster person, but it was SO worth it! The food was delicious, I had a lot of fun here exploring the rides! I recommend coming here lol, I came around December 23, 2023, was definitely worth the trip! Food was worth the price and tickets for sure.

Lines are super long. Flash pass is close to $200 per person per day plus the admission ticket. 2 rides broke down while we were in line. The rides werent that intense. I would not ever return here. Knotts berry farm is 10/10 a better experience and shorter wait times.

I started going to Magic Mountain when I was about six or seven years old with my dad and my sister. I remember going here on so many different occasions. I finally finally came back and brought my daughter today. I think it’s been 20 years since I last went here.It cost $40 to park. I was not expecting it to be that much just to park your car. But I understand. We got here early so that we could get in the park right at 10:30 when it opened up. We immediately went to revolution and didn’t wait that long to get on.I’m not gonna give you all the details of every ride that we rode but we had a bunch of the big coasters and had a super fun time. One of the reasons that I’m giving it a four star review is because none of the drink fill stations by the water fountains worked for your water bottle. I feel like if you’re at a theme park all day long out in the heat that the employees, staff, should really make sure that these are working. Overall, my daughter and I had a fantastic day.

We really enjoyed Thanksgiving here, it was crowded but not as bad as it could have been. The food plan was good--you know food is always going to be super expensive and this kind of takes the stress of that away and it became part of the fun. They do have slow food service at some places, I think its intentional to manage crowds and consumption, but it all worked.Its more expensive to buy online tickets if you wait until the morning youre going, more by about $15/ticket. Buy the week before.A lot of the rides broke down to the point that at the end of the day there were maybe half a dozen not running. I wondered if that was typical or intentional. I hadnt seen at other parks.It was chilly in the evening, bring jackets! We ended up buying sweatshirts and they werent too bad ($35). I dont know that paying for up close parking is worth it, unless you plan on going back to the car during the day. A fun way to spend Thanksgiving.

Me and my sister visited here for my bday, we went 5/20/24. We went before they opened the gates, we immediately went on full throttle without having to wait too long, then revolution, and then to apocalypse. We chose to do the back of the park first to avoid crowds. The wait times for the first 3 rides was about a 15min wait. After our third ride we went to get food (we did purchase all day dining pass HIGH RECOMMENDED) it was a lot of food, so really you only need one person to buy the all day dining pass lol. But after eating, that’s when lines were having longer wait times (around 1pm). Ended up waiting about 40mins for 2 rides, then we decided to buy flash passes (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). And after that, it was so much better. Over all had a great time with my sister! Just the waiting lines and line cutting was insane. And it was on a Monday.

First time visiting in over 20 years! Got there at 11am, some attraction lines were insane but thats par for the course especially during spring break. Wish there were more filling stations like Disneyland, but at least youre able to bring in your own hydroflask! I think I even saw someone with a Camelbak. Food prices were typical of a theme park, nachos were pretty good and they didnt skimp on the cheese or jalapenos. Parking was a bit congested, but I feel like its because folks dont know how to merge. Overall it was a good trip.

Season Pass Holder here, do yourself a favor and avoid this park or at least be careful what day you decide to go as rides are always closed. As good as it looks on the outside, in reality, the ride operations are horrible and I havent had a day in 2024 where all important/elite rides were operating efficiently. It almost always feels like half the rides are closed even on a Saturday. It sucks because I dont remember it this bad as a kid.

We had a blast here with the big kids and the little kids. Went on a Friday in March, typical wait times for an amusement park on all of the big popular rides. For the little kids we hung out at the kiddie area with almost no wait times on any of the rides. We waited 3x for 5 minutes a piece. Seemed like a typical non-Disney park where teens/young adults are the only employees and don’t have much to offer by way of answering any questions, so as long as you’re self-sufficient in that regard, it’s no problem. All the ride attendants were pleasant and helpful getting the littles loaded and moving on with fun. We are in AZ and bought season passes to Hurricane Harbor and get free admission to all Six Flags locations with our passes, so we will likely be back a couple times this year.

The park was for the most part very clean. Some rides were closed as they were gearing up for grad night and summer. Still managed to get on all our favorite rides and had a blast. I am a big Roller coaster fan, so of course, I am a Magic Mountain fan. I go at least once a month (its a 3 + hour drive each way). At Magic Mountain you do get some of the best coasters anywhere, including: X2, Tatsu, Viper, Twisted Collosis, West Coast Racers, Wonder Woman and a bunch more (14 more coasters for a total of 20 coasters).On a good day you can ride every coaster at least once (usually with multiple re-rides).Now the bad. MM has a love of 1 train operations. The rides with the longest lines are usually the ones with 1 train. Tatsu, X2, Viper, Goliath, Scream and many others are Usually on a 1 train operation.The other bad is a bad for all amusement / theme parks. Food & drink prices. The prices are high. Always been a thing, and always will!When you weigh the good (tons of coasters) vs the bad (1 train ops, which means lines), you will also see that Magic Mountain is the best amusement park on the west coast. Fast and intense rides for all thrill seekers...

Freaking amazing! Went the first week of January 2024 and it was the perfect time to go. A little bit chilly later in the day but all the rides were open EXCEPT Wonder Woman and Superman. Which I was super happy about, being that Ive never been to a large theme park like this before. But this place was the ultimate experience!!!! Best rollercoasters as well as rides ever!!!! Videos/pics in order are from Full Throttle, the bungee flying ride that I went on and dropped from 153ft, Apocalypse which is a wooden coaster and SOOOO FAST so dont underestimate it, and last picture is of Viper from an awesome angle.

Amazing theme park! I have season passes for this place, and for very good reason! The rides are amazing, all with really cool and unique concepts, and many thrills. The rides are generally very intense, but there is a section for younger kids! The food isn’t anything special, but it’s not bad by any means. They have asian, American, barbecue, and other eateries. Funnel cakes are very delicious too. 10/10 recommended highly, WAYYYY better than Knott’s

Great but greater priority should be given to those with the platinum flash passes. At times it felt like there wasnt enough signage to indicate where the lines for flash passes actually were - had to ask employees to help out. And at times despite having a flash pass platinum it still took around 20 to 30mins to actually get a seat on the ride, despite already passing the turnstile and lining up.

Free Upgrade to Diamond Pass, just $115 and that includes the $35 Season refillable cup, free parking for the season and much more. All that while a regular one day admittance is $80. Title: A Mixed Experience at Six Flags Magic MountainI visited Six Flags Magic Mountain in California on December 27, 2023, while on a Christmas and New Year holiday with my granddaughter and son, a warrant officer in the USMC. Coming from Florida, we were excited to explore this renowned theme park. At first glance, the park is impressively vast, boasting an array of rides that instantly catch your attention and spark a desire to try each one. For anyone planning a visit, I highly recommend purchasing Flash Passes or skip-the-line passes if within budget, as the queues can be quite long depending on the season.Regarding souvenirs, the park offers a variety of Marvel comics attire, though the quality may not meet everyones expectations. While not the finest, these items can serve as a memento of your visit.Our experience was somewhat marred by an incident towards the end of our visit. Despite having Flash Passes, we were mistakenly accused of line-skipping at the Crazanity ride, leading to an uncomfortable situation that particularly upset my granddaughter. This incident seemed to reflect an unfortunate bias from the ride attendant, as similar accusations were not directed at other visitors who were actually skipping the line.Its important to note that while this experience with a staff member was disheartening, it does not necessarily reflect the parks overall attitude. However, it did impact our experience, contributing to my rating of three stars.To future visitors, I suggest wearing comfortable shoes and preparing for a day full of excitement and adventure. Enjoy the rides, but be mindful of potential long waits and the varying experiences with staff.

Six flags magic mountain is definitely one of my favorite parks. I have been going here ever since I was a kid, and it never disappoints. This past October, I had the chance to visit all the way from Utah. I got a season pass even though I live hundreds of miles away. The new rides they put in are great, and I rode 6 new roller coasters. One thing that I found confusing is that I have a Dimond pass saying I could get into the vip lounge buy they said I still had to pay 20 bucks. Still had a good time.

I have been to six flags before and it was a good experience. This time it was horrible. Empty’s were rude when you asked them a question they would either be very rude to you and not care or not even answer you and just ignore you. To top things off, my mom ended up loosing her phone off a ride (it fell out of her pocket on a ride and went under the ride) and telling the employee who was loosing at the rides aka walking the tracks, they completely ignored her. Someone else told the employee that there was a phone and hat on the ground and the employee walked right past it and didn’t even pick it up. My family knowing exactly were her phone was and us telling them where and it pinging the employee completely ignored it! Which I find incredibly rude. When speaking to a worker about the situation they kept saying come back another time you’re out of luck. Then getting lied to by the worker then saying they “completely look under the rides” then just a few seconds later them saying well maybe they didn’t go there. The photo you see here is the phone and hat the man told the employee about and just walked off. I will not be coming back and I hope people who work there understand how they act and not be rude to people who need help!

Great experience and it was a lot of fun. The only drawback was that on a Sunday which we were there, some of the rides were closed so they are understaffed, but you still pay the regular entry fee which is not always that cheap and do come prepared to pay $40 for parking if you haven’t purchased parking online. Of course, when you buy food or drinks, they’re going to be expensive than your usual one dollar per bottle for water and more for food so be prepared for that as well.Nevertheless, the experience is worthwhile if you’re going to Six Flags once or twice a year and willing to spend the money.For sure recommend going to Six Flags.

First the good the roller coasters are awesome and fun and the pricing for a season pass is really reasonable. Now the bad their is no fans or air conditioning in the lines and some of them are extremely hot and frustrating to wait in. A lot of rides only had 1 car instead of multiple so lines move slower. The parks are dirty and the coasters look like they are fading. The park needs better maintenance and air conditioning for 5 stars.

Be prepared to wait. At 11:03a we were waiting to turn right onto the property with our prepaid Speedy Parking. We finally parked our car at 11:52a. Of course, somehow were parked at the furthest corner away from the entrance. Not a problem - a brisk walk to the front entrance with a short line to check our bags and were in. Back *in line* that is. Took us another 40min before were actually in the amusement park. Should I tell you about the food lines? This place is disgusting, and that’s coming from someone that lives in the barracks. The cost of parking is almost as much as a ticket and a cold pizza will run you $20 PER SLICE. Over half of the rides were closed with no explanation and I was refused a refund. There was a large area to eat food, however, EVERY. SINGLE. TABLE. was covered in trash, spilled drinks, and food that looks as if it was cultured from the bottom of a dumpster. Lots of fun rides, many of them closed when the park is not crowded which makes you feel like a chump for trying to go when there won’t be hordes of people. The park is pretty dirty and they have zero customer service. I accidentally ordered a flash pass thinking, it would apply to both holders of my season passes. It was a selling mistake, but I immediately went to guest services to have it corrected. They refused to refund me, even though I was able to prove that I had not used the pass even once. They seemed to Telling me that I wasted $125 and they had a zero tolerance policy, they said. Who says that to a paying customer? Especially the one that did not take advantage and then try to get their money back. I almost feel like I got punished for being one of the few people here that didn’t look like absolute trash. This is probably one of the best theme parks in the US. Six Flags Magic Mountain boasts some of the tallest and scariest rollercoasters. I arrived a few minutes before the park opened and was first in the queue to enter. Being a weekday, the crowds were sparse and we were able to enjoy the rides without queueing so much.Must ride: Colossus, Twisted Colossus, Tatsu, X2, Viper, Goliath, Superman Escape from Krypton, Lex Luthor Drop of Doom and many more.In the peak season and school holidays, prepare to queue for hours for each ride and allow more than one day to see the entire park.Overall, it was a great day out.

Have been to nearly all of the Six Flags parks. When we parked, it was nearly a mile uphill to the front gate……on foot with no shuttle. From a thrill perspective this park kind of delivers. When we came the Superman ride was not open (we were told that it rained last week and that this ride shuts down for a while when it gets rained on). Also bumming us out was that almost every thrill coaster was running only 1 train and this made the lines very long. Like Disney, they are now offering an option to buy your way onto a few of the rides (the X2 was $28 a person to do this, but the alternative at the time was a 180 minute wait). The food lines were average in some spots, but we ended up waiting an hour for nachos at the Food Etc. food court and the seating area was filthy. This area was like this for at least the 90 minutes we were inside (pics attached).Would probably come back if the rides were fully operational and it seemed like enough people were working here to provide an acceptable level of service. The employees who were here were pretty good in comparison to other parks and despite the crowds it never really felt crowded like a Disney park does.

Unfortunately the experience had us never wanting to go back.The coasters were great as usual but we rode 4 of them in 10 hours due to long lines and lack of employees running the show. Most coasters had 1 cart running at a time. We waited 1:15 for chicken strips and a chicken sandwich at 4pm utilizing the “speedy” mobile order process from the chicken coupe. And they had run out of ketchup.The employees that were working were very nice and doing their best. Maybe because it was a holiday week and they couldn’t properly staff? Maybe we should have had different expectations? Either way, something was very off with the experience. Its not too expensive to get through the gates but once in get ready to spend, spend, spend. You will spend a lot of time waiting for rides and food and a lot of money! We went this past weekend and waited hours for rides just to break down. Wonder Women ride broke down multiple times a day. Parts of the park are extremely run down and are not maintained well. Refill water stations not functioning and bathroom cleanliness a big issue. Youd expect better upkeep when charging $17 a beer and $18 hamburgers. An employee told us they plan to charge $20 a 12 oz beer this summer. Oof! We ended up making the most of it and enjoying our time together as a family. This park was a dream come true for me. I do not live in America but every coaster was bigger, faster and better then I’m used to.The park has a few downsides as well though. A lot of the coasters were riding with 1 train. The queues were all above an hour (we’ve seen 190 minutes), in summer season you really need the highest capacity you can get. My husband and I like to sneak away while kids are in school so we typically only have a few hours but if you go on off-peak days you can get in 3-5 rides. Park is clean and feels safe. Rides are phenomenal. Favorites are WonderWoman, X2 and Crazanity and by far the best, in my opinion, is Tatsu. Feels like you are flying! Bliss on repeat! Employees are friendly and helpful. Amazing selection of roller coasters. I went twice within a year, and there were different ones opened or closed depending on circumstances. Food service is alright, sometimes you will have to wait a while just to get to the window to order. Its much faster to order via the Six Flags app and pickup at the window.Deducted a star due to quality of cleanliness. This place is so much fun! We come here every year for our family vacation. We come for 2 full days so we can make sure we have maximum time at the park to do everything. We always go on Tuesday and Wednesdays because those are the least busiest days of the week. We will get the Flash Pass on Wednesday (because it’s busier than Tuesday). If you plan on riding as many coasters as possible, it’s worth it to get the flash pass. We get the middle tiered one which give you 50% less wait time but it always works out where we barely have to wait at all.There’s fun for our little ones (3 & 4) and for our oldest (14) and for us! The kids love all the kid rides and the carnival games.The first ride I rode this year was the Wonder Woman…OMG. I almost peed my pants and cried at the same time - it was terrifying! My 14-year old just laughed the whole time while I held on for dear life screaming and swearing. You ride in a single file and the track is so small, it’s just incredibly thrilling!I also recommend if you’re going to go for more than one day to get the highest level of season pass (Diamond Pass). You will get free preferred parking which is in itself worth over $50. You also get a discount on anything else you buy in the park like food and souvenirs so it’s definitely worth it!

First time here and I must say I was not impressed. The rides are good assuming they are working. We attended two days. West Coast Racers broke down each of the days we were there so I can only assume it happens frequently. Other rides were completely closed. The food left much to be desired. Now that my kids are teenagers, we decided it was time for them to experience Magic Mountain. Out of the four amusement parks we visited this past week, Magic Mountain was their favorite. The wait times were pretty reasonable, the staff was friendly and the overall experience was great. I took one star away for the following two reasons. 1. There were several rides not operational. Some of them had crates of what looked like replacement parts but assume they dont have current staff or equipment to make the ride operational again. Some of the older wood buildings and fences had dry rot. Again, probably not enough staff to maintain a large property. I think signage would be good to inform people. 2. For the more popular coasters, they could benefit from having more staff members to help with the people flow. It would certainly enhance the experience and allow riders the time to experience all of the coasters. We were there from open to close and were not able to ride all of the available coasters. If you have little ones, theres a section of the park dedicated to the younger kids. As you come into the park main gates, head right and follow the path down a slight hill and its on the right. My older kids and wife found Tatsu and Wonder Woman to be their favorite coasters. The meals at MM were mediocre. Burgers were heat lamp dry, as well as the chicken strips. The pizza and BBQ pulled pork sandwich were the unanimous good food choices for us. TIP: If youre buying tickets in advance, consider buying the combo ticket that has the park gate entrance, meal/drink plan and parking. Parking alone is $30-40 bucks. One last thing to mention is that theyre attractions that do cost additional, Bungie thrill type swing and go-karts to name a couple.

The only complaint I have which Im not very happy about is that I bought my General Admission pass AND a standard fast pass since I only had a few hours that day, and a lot of the rides were closed all day. Full Throttle and Wonder Woman were closed the entire day (along with a few others) and those were the two roller coasters I really wanted to ride. My son and I still love all the rides in this park. Over the laat 12 years, there have been much decline in the overall operational efficiency in all levels. We use to explore all the different food places around the park. We do not do that anymore, because of the high prices of regular food items you can get for less and better quality outside the park.The annual passes and annual drink cups still saves us money since we visit the park at least once a month.Now, they even add on .99 cents surcharge PER item on all drink and food items. I live in California and it had me purchase tickets for Maryland. 😫 Then, at the door, you can buy one for a friend for $40. Ive been thinking about visiting this park for 4 years but probably didnt see any sign. So only recently Ive got a chance to obtain an annual pass for just ~$100 including general parking. It was sale for spring break.So Ive been there twice and tried only 9 rides:BATMAN, CraZanity (good if you dont get sick easily), Apocalypse (best decorations), Gold Rusher (1/5, dont waste your time), Goliath (BEST), Ninja, WONDER WOMAN, West Coast Racers, Twisted Colossus.Decorations are poorly made, lines are huge if you come after 1 pm, rides are cool if youre fond of extreme. Every time we came only 1/3 of rides worked. Looks like they like creating lines either for selling skip the line pass or for making people come again for the second and third time.Now the tips how to get the biggest benefit from your visit:1. Get the annual pass. If you live in LA you will definitely need to visit this park at least twice so it will pay off. Also parking is included.2. Check waiting times at Queue Times or six flags app. It will help you to avoid the biggest lines.3. Come in the morning and you will be able to try 4-5 rides with short lines. We came at 10 and visited 5 rides till 1 pm.4. Get Dramamine (or other motion sickness pills) if you get sick easily. Otherwise youll head home after 1-2 rides.5. As an avid thrill ride enthusiast, this is my home park. If you go to parks for the rides, this is one of the better parks (along with Busch Gardens and Cedar Point). It has a great assortment of rides, with both steel and wood coasters. Of the wood coasters, Apocalypse and Twisted Colossus are the best. Tatsu is a challenging coaster that lets you fly through the air high above the park like superman- quite the thrill! You need to keep an eye on the prices as once a year you can pick up a Diamond Pass for $129, that grants you admittance to all the Six Flags Parks in the US. Fright Fest is a real good time to visit the park if you dont mind the thick crowds. There are also some good food concessions that are a notch up from Disney fare. I highly recommend this park! So last time I came to six flags was probably over 9-10 years ago and boy has it changed. Went on a Friday which was not bad not really any waiting time for the rides, the most I waited was maybe 20 mins. Water rides were all closed. A lot of the shops around the park were closed. The paint on the rides was dull and looked very under kept. A few of the rides closed a couple of times as they were having some issues. They have a new DC attraction that reminds me of the buzz light year attraction in Disneyland, shooting for points. Tickets were pricey for 1 day so for $6 more I got the gold year pass. Parking also pricey so bought the speedy parking. For reserved parking need to do it online apparently. Food is still pricey in the park. Of course could not leave without a funnel cake, still worth it. I will come back but definitely needs some work and up keep.

If i would go here i will never go on this ride ever again. The other rides are good. I waited in line for the Apocalypse for a good 1 hour with fast pass. i don’t know why there is a whole on maze to go to ride not worth it. The food was not bad but okay! and i only went on 11 rides was at the park from 10am-9pm straight. Overall was fun i would visit here on weekdays so there’s not a lot of people and get fast pass if you come!

Full Throttle is also a great short but CRAZY ride.The food is extremely overpriced, and yes I know it’s a theme park, but a really bad tasting slice of pizza is $17.99 plus tax.They offer souvenir cups and you can refill them every 15 minutes for free, but there aren’t nearly enough places to fill them up. We had a terrific time at 6-Flags Magic Mountain in the city of Valencia over the Easter weekend. Surprisingly, the theme park was not too crowded; but the lines to the rides were still pretty long. The good thing is, we had the Flash⚡️Pass! For us, the wait time for each ride was no more than 10-15 minutes. With the short wait times, we were able to ride on most Rollercoasters; while taking our sweet time not rushing to get to the rides. The flip-side, I got too dizzy after the 7th ride and it was only within 4, maybe 5 hours of entering the park. We found out that not all of the rides took the Flash⚡️Pass. For an example, the bumper car ride; we waited for about at least 30-45 minutes. Even so, we didnt mind - because by then, we already rode 4 Rollercoasters and the wait time at the bumper cars was actually a benefit for us. We also had the dining pass; which was awesome. We had unlimited refills of the soft drinks. Unfortunately, this season- the popcorn option was not included in the dining pass. The dining pass allowed us to get a quick meal every 3 hours, but it feels more like a snack. Again, not all restaurants took or accepted the dining pass. Another example, we had to pay for the massive turkey leg; however, we were given a discount for having the dining pass. All in all, in order to enjoy the most of the park is to have the Flash⚡️Pass and dining pass. Last, but not least...we also have the season pass with PREFERRED parking. In short, get the season pass, dining pass & Flash⚡️Pass to get the most out of your visits. Hope you all had as much fun as we did. My adult son has autism and we’ve been getting season passes every year for over a decade. This was the best year by far. They have a new system where we don’t have to wait an hour in between rides. The park was a lot cleaner than I’ve ever experienced. And the staff seem like they weren’t overheated and overworked. Whatever they’re doing made huge positive changes. Great job guys!

Its not worth the money anymore to visit here, unfortunately. All coasters we rode were only operating a single train on a Friday, making the wait time excruciatingly long. You are only going to ride 4-6 rides in a day if you are lucky.They had none of the misters operating in the coaster lines, but they had the $8.50 per 20oz soda machines operating in the lines of course. Its blatantly obvious that they are only concerned with cost savings and not customer satisfaction, like everything else nowadays I suppose. The less trains you run, the less wear and tear on equipment and associated maintenance costs.On top of these gripes you have the fact that 90% of the people attending the park are unsupervised children that their parents have dropped off for day care. They are in coordinated groups that will plant a couple people in multiple ride lines, substitute each other in and out at their convenience and meet up with the rest of their posse by cutting through the lines when its almost their turn to ride. Kudos to them for gaming the system, and maximizing the number of rides they can get on by being in multiple lines at once, I guess. But when up to 10 more people show up just before you are about to board, its pretty frustrating.

My kids always have fun here. I remember going as a kid during my summer break with my family and taking my kids now on their summer break is something to look forward to. We enjoy the water park first then go to the theme park in the evening. Its always fun, and on weekdays its not as crowded. A love letter to Six Flags Magic Mountain...Dear Magic Mountain, Ive been coming here for decades with about a decade hiatus. Thank you for the joy and excitement MM gave me as a small child and all the fun times as a teenager and young adult!MM, you have some fantastic rollercoasters and exciting thrill rides. Ive read the average rollercoaster costs more then $25 million to build and I can only imagine how much they cost to maintain. I read Six Flags lost approximately $70 million across your various parks last year and saw a 9% decrease in guest visits with net income and net revenue down over 50%. This compared to your local competitors seeing significant gains in both attendance and profits.Instead of just complaining about the long waits for rides and food, high prices, and deteriorating conditions at MM, here are observations and suggestions on improvements which should result in increased revenue, decreased costs, and a better guest experience.1. Lines for food are excessive and seem to be some of the most inefficient systems Ive seen in place. Its time to look at your local competitors: Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, and Disneyland for their best practices. Many of their dining options work like assembly lines. People line up with trays, pick their food, and line up at the end for the cashiers. This allows cooks to cook, runners to run the food to the pick up areas and cashiers to cashier. Its focused and efficient. Over and over again throughout the park we saw one or two MM employees left to fend for themselves to take an order, prep the food, and process the payment. Imagine the running back and forth, no one at the window while the food is being processed (terrible optics and bad guest experience), switching gloves for cash vs food prep. Over three different trips to the park on both busy days and quiet days this same scene repeated itself all over the park. Understaffed, disorganized, poor processes, bottlenecks, and inefficient lines. I experienced a line after using the mobile app that took longer then waiting in the regular order line. Took me 70 minutes to get my food waiting in the mobile line after ordering which was 50% longer than the regular line!The above inefficiencies resulted in a minimum food revenue loss of 10% as we often saw people give up and leave. Wed have ordered more food more often if it was easier and faster. One additional worker at a cost of $27 an hour with employment taxes included should be able to increase sales and profits by $100 - $150 an hour plus the added enjoyment of the guests.2. Maintain and repair the rides consistently during the week when the park is closed. More open rides means more rides to distribute the visitors, shorter lines, and a better guest experience.3. Use more sun shades/sails across the park in lines, eating areas, and in general to create shade. Lighter colored shades reflect heat and though look dirtier faster, have a longer lifespan. Solar panels above wait lines powering cooling fans!4. Consider shrinking and moving the carnival section to across from Roaring Rapids. Replace it with a large, indoor international dining hall. Build a 25+ foot tall, double storied, DC themed place that has specialty food items (think Proton Protein Smoothies, Nectar of the God’s, Amazonian Vegetarian Salads, Batman Burgers, etc.) ceiling graphics with epic DC clashes, starry lights, DC artifacts, DC lore. Think similar to the dining hall at Disney next to Space Mountain.5. Sell rain ponchos across from Roaring Rapids. Branded MM both single and thicker, multi use ponchos. The cheep ones can be sold for $5 each and the nicer, reusable for $15. They can be sold at the front of the park during rainy days. Towels? T-shirts that say I got wrecked on Roaring Rapids.The photos of lines are all for food, including a longer line for mobile order pick-up than the regular line and showing only 1 employee working an area setup for 4 employees. 2 cashiers/2 food runners. At least 12 people left the line while we waited.

Havent been here in years, and it definitely did not disappoint! So much fun! Only about 3 rides werent operating today, which was great! We got on all of the others! The longest line we waited in was 45 minutes! I will admit the wait times on the app were RARELY accurate. West Coast Racers was AWESOME! Great concept and even better ride!It wasnt an insane scorcher today but it was definitely hot, and for some reason the misters in the lines werent on or working. That wouldve put our experience over the top, but that could be due to the drought. Make sure you remember sun screen AND reapply! Stay hydrated! They have a great deal for 2 bottles of water for 8 bucks. We bought 3 of those deals because the water from the water fountains werent cold, so filling up the bottles didnt help cool us off or quench our thirst. This park is so much fun, but I would recommend holding off bringing the kids until they are old enough to ride the big rides, you will finish with the kiddie zone super quick with the little guys. Highly recommend Six Flags for all adults and middle school/teenage kids.

Fun park with amazing rides! Went there with my family, and the entire day was a blast. There is many rollercoasters to go on, and even if you aren’t a big fan of coasters, there lots of other rides. I recommend arriving early in the morning to ensure you get a good parking spot. During the day, the wait times for the rides varied, but it got busier the later it got. Had an amazing time with the kids and grandkids. It was a beautiful. The churro’s were awful and cold. We have season passes so we can come visit again. Ten out of ten totally recommend. A lot of rides were closed do check the website first. Parking was smooth and most of the staff were friendly. The bathrooms were pretty dirty and run down. The meal deal is a great deal with a group. The chicken strips and fries were fresh and crispy. The pretzels are over priced and cold and hard.Some of the soda refills were flat so definitely try before you leave. All in all a good day.

Me and my family visited this park for the first time today, and we were disappointed in how inefficient the park operated. You have to pay $40 to park, and you still have to walk at least a mile to the entrance. It was a very light crowd, but the ride wait times were still long. Most of the roller-coasters were only running one train. The wait times posted on the app were very inaccurate. It took us 1.5hrs to get on a ride when the app showed a 20 minute wait time. Whats the point of going on light days when you still have to wait in line like its a heavy day? Our home park is Great America in the Chicago area. The Magic Mountain operations managers need to call them and get some pointers on how to operate an amusement park more efficiently. On a positive note, this park has some great coasters.

Bad from the very start. $40 for parking got us a twenty minute walk from our car to the gate. There were parking lots empty right next to the gate but were closed. And of course no shuttle whatsoever. Upon entering no paper maps only maps to download on your phone. Too small to read on my phone I want a paper map. The ride we were looking forward to most roaring rapids was closed. Then we went to apocalypse closed. Then my boys wanted to drive the go carts. Extra $15 each. Waited in line at Jet stream 45 minutes we were frying in the hot sun uncovered when the line hadn’t moved for 15 minutes and we gave up and bailed. All waiting areas should be covered. Dying of thirst we looked forever for a water fountain filled our bottle and it looked more like milk it was so cloudy. Of course they aren’t going to give you free water they want you to buy their $7 bottles of water. Exhausted we knew it was a 30 minute walk back to the car from inside the park and we barely made it our feet were so tired.

There is no healthy management of fast passes as it just stops regular line from moving at all. Bargaining at the gate also happens between rides slowing the process. When it came time for my daughter and I to get in they wouldnt accept them and made me buy tickets. Then the guy screwed up on my meal tickets. Then they screwed up on my daughters meal. And what is even worse is they deliberately out of spite park you round the back of the park at the furthest point from the entrance which means you have a 30 minute up hill walk just to get to the gate. It is a shame because the rides are actually quite good and the queues are short for many rides. Also make sure you bring your own food as onsite food and beverage prices are obscene. My boys love MM - they are roller coaster junkies. So it’s good to go do a few laps and let them ride some stuff. Season passes aren’t that expensive, so it’s great for after school and weekends.That being said, I know that six flags is having financial issues, but security guards and a good power washing aren’t too much to ask. They have line skipping policies but no one enforces them. They’ll randomly have one train running for MONTHS on a certain coaster and the lines can take forever.Lastly, plan to eat elsewhere if you can. The food here is more expensive than other theme parks but definitely of a lesser quality.

Been to many Six Flags and never had a bad experience until this park. Most of the rides werent open early in the day causing large lines at the rides that were open. Most of the meal sites arent open until around noon and many close early making the dining pass not worth it. Also noted that the rides seemed dated and many of the restaurants listed on the dining pass dont accept it and the park wont make it right. Dont waste any money here. Our visit started with 2 of our party of 5 gaining access while the other three were declined. After 10 minutes of waiting at the gate, handing in our printed tickets, and showing the charge on our credit card account, our party was invited in. I have no idea what the issue was. Many attractions were closed during our stay. After waiting an hour for a ride and being seated on the ride, we were asked to get back in line due to an issue with the ride (cudos for realizing an issue before a catastrophy!). We decided we werent meant to go on that ride. Rode 2 rides each in 6 hours. Only a very few places open to eat. The games were not open, and very few shops and eateries were open. We did find that the rides requiring an additional fee were open, but who wants to pay an additional fee to ride a standard ride like Go-carts? We visited during the off-peak season to avoid the crowds and get more ride time.... instead, we left early. Very disappointing visit for our party who traveled from NY and was looking forward to the Six Flags experience on the West Coast.

We went during the week and the crowds werent bad however some coaster were shut down (scream) and it never opened the 3 days we went. This was the worse theme park experience. I can see why this is not Disney or Universal level. Starting from the parking, everything is horrible. There is no shuttle and they make you walk very long way to get to the gate. The gate entry is slow and the, as in everyone inside, nobody is rushing in anything. The restaurants, food places are the worse, I wish I had a gopro on my head. Every single person in line was fuming at how slow everything was moving. You can tell everyone working here is a teenager and they are the new bread of teenager, completely dazed and confused, have no idea why theyre there, what theyre role is, how to actually be effective or useful. These kids all looked depressed and confused. I had hours in line to observe and I could not figure out why it took them forever, literally forever, to sell chicken straps or a quesadilla. It was a disaster. There is zero rush, zero care, zero customer service. The lines for rides are not too much different. Every ride we went on was operating on a single car, plus add the people cutting in line, non stop, called speedy pass, you are literally in line for 3 hours for a single ride on a Wednesday. It was bad, if you dont have the expensive line cutting pass, stay home. The park is blah, no character, no esthetics and doesnt have you enjoy your environment. I remember Disney California Adventure, what a gem. Beautiful. Lines, lines, lines, lines, nothing moving, horrible place.

Awesome place!! Lines were not bad at all and we went fri and sat in mid April. Rides were really intense. Recommend for 12 and up unless your kids are super into thrill rides. Took us all of Friday to talk my 9 year old into riding anything crazy. But once he did he rode almost everything on Saturday. Only my oldest (16) was brave enough to ride the big one, I think it was x something. It looks terrifying!! But he said it was awesome. We packed as much into one day at Six Flags Magic Mountain as possible for a family of six and we collectively had a great time. Some of the best roller coasters around are found here. One big recommendation for the park though, do all you can do run each ride at full capacity. To stand in each line for 60-90 minutes and have the operator announce an apology that they are only running one coaster rather than two is a bit frustrating when it happens on three of the rides today. It would have been nice to be able to ride on more than five rides during the ten hours we were here.

Decent park! The park is not the cleanest, like how the bathrooms smell really bad. Wait times for food is ridiculous, and the food is overpriced. Just for parking was like 40$.Luckily, I didn’t have any problems with ride closures on my visit. Only jet stream broke down on us, and we had to leave.Some of the wait times were long, like how just for Revolution, it was an hour, and was our first ride of the day (we arrived like two hours after the park opened). But most of the wait times were like 10 minutes or so.The Roller coasters are the star of this park and the reason why I want to go back here! I wish the park didn’t close so early (closed at 6pm on a Monday) so I could ride Goliath and X2. I will definitely ride x2 and Goliath if I ever get the chance to come back here again.

I had bought tickets a week in advance before coming. When I arrived two of my tickets were supposedly, “already used the day I bought them.” I had to wait an hour in line to fix the problem. I need to provide proof I was not there the date I bought them online before I could be refunded. I live in the Bay Area. Luckily I have cameras at home to show that proof to them. Not only that they wanted me to buy another ticket on the spot before they could also refund my old order. I also paid $55 for front gate parking just to have someone parked behind me that paid cheaper parking because they were not taking care of the lot after a couple of hours of directing parking to people. I had to wait 30 minutes after closing hours for the people to finally move their car from behind me. They told me I could not get a refund for my $55, nor could they tow or ticket the persons car for even being there. Might as well pay basic parking although you’ll have to walk a bit more but you can leave when you want. I tried moving forward and reversing at an angle but it still wasn’t enough space because I had two cars on the other sides of me.The rides were a great experience but the way the Six Flags has a system that allows other people to use tickets they did not purchase sucks. Then they have the actual person that bought the ticket deal with the expense and burden of having to buy a new ticket in order to be refunded or even get in the park. Also they should have someone taking care of that front gate parking or remove the headers in front of the cars so others can leave if the same thing is going to happen over and over again.

The rides we liked the most: Tatsu, Batman, Wonderwoman, Crazanity, west coast racers, full throttle! X2 is overrated.Keep in mind you’re gonna see a lot of unbehaving, unraised teens and gross adults.Went monday, queues were not long at all. Max wait was 25 mins.

The burocracy here is tragic. We bought flash passes with our tickets however they automatically give you the day directly after your purchase. Well we are here two days after initial purchase waiting two hours in the flash pass lime after being here a previous time and having to be told we cant get our flash passes. We went from the flash pass line to the guest relations line, back to the flash pass line. Two hours my kids have been standing around at the thrill capital of the world. They are not very thrilled. Nor am I. And what is the consequence of messing all this up. I have a teenager giving me a very non sympathetic apology. I would not be purchasing any six flags stock in the future if I were you. No matter how beaten up it may be.Added is a picture of three employees helping well over 100 guests trying to buy their way to less wait times. Atrocious.Edit. They double charged me. So Six flags has 1k of my money and Im currently sitting at the flash pass office at 7:44pm waiting for the manager to get off lunch. Picture provided as proof

Almost everytime we come to LA we visit magic mountain 🎢🫶. Its a lot of fun and there are lots of rides to get onto. There are two areas in the park that require entrance. One is a waterpark which is fun and the other one are the roller coaster rides. If youre going to both advice is to bring a small bag with a towel, sandals, sunblock and shampoo and also bring some super comfortable shoes and a change to walk through the day right after that activity. Be sure that youre going to walk for the rest of your day for hours but its totally worth it. Park opens from 10:30 am till 10:00pm be sure to arrive early if youd like to see the whole place and get on most of the rides. Ps: we got here in September 9 but they had the Halloween 👻🎃 special, that early!! 😁❤️

Love the rides, but poor management for hot days. It was 99 degrees and the indoor cues ( Wonder Woman, Batman, riddlers revenge, and more ) had no ventilation, it was unbearable, not even a fan to push air. Not sure how this is even legal for the workers who were drenched in sweat, respect to them. The misters are set up in the line, but not turned on. The heat is just beginning and we have season passes but yesterday’s experience was bad from the park management if they don’t figure it out someone’s going to pass out.

Im an out of state season pass holder w/ platinum flash pass. Magic Mountain was my favorite theme park. But it is now so horribly managed that I can no longer recommend it or invest money in the park.There are 2 problems that create such a horrible user experience that it makes for a frustrating day:1) 1 train runs per ride, making for long, unnecessary wait times. At minimum 2 trains need to be running, especially on weekends.2) No queue management. To save money, they removed the position of having someone manage the gate queue. This leads to huge chaos.Until these 2 issues are resolved, it makes flash pass useless. You will not save the advertised wait times. It may save you 10 mins, but because the overload the gate queue, it forces a 20 to 30 min wait. This is the worst managed fast pass Ive ever experienced, and we go to 2 to 3 theme parks yearly.Simple solution:1) Operate 2 trains per ride as a bare minimum.(Also, train staff to work more efficiently to dispatch trains faster)2) Paint circles in gate queue for people to stand on. Limit gate queue to 4 people per gate. This can be done without hiring new staff and will solve the current chaotic gate queues. It will also provide an incentive to purchase flash passes as it will reduce wait time.Magic Mountain feels so poorly managed that in order to save a dollar, they are driving long-time loyal visitors away from the park.I cant justify coming back to Magic Mountain until they fix these two problems.I get that they need to save money, but when it effects user experience so drastically, it will only hurt their business more than help. The current management is short sided at will lead to huge financial losses if not fixed.

Im a charter bus driver who brought grad class from arizonaIn full uniform with company ID They wanted my driver license and waited an hour along with 6 other charter bus drivers at will call .All we wanted was to get in to get something to eat, but that didnt even happen once we got into the park due to excessive prices. Charter bus drivers come from all over to bring customers to their park and they treat us like this ? They need to be more charter bus drivers friendly and maybe throw in a drink and meal 🤔 Like many other places who bring them thousands of dollars

Very Long queue 60+ minutes. Dirty areas. Sticking floor at some places some careless person spilled cola and no one cleaned it for ages. Cameras are banned and no sign 🪧 of it but only you must read long text to learn about it. I sat into chair and was asked to leave ride and put camera into locker which btw didn’t work. So You are not allowed to film your ride even if you have spacial body harness for GoPro. My kid was deeply disappointed with camera 🎥 ban. What a foolish rule. On the other side coasters were great 👍🏻

The lines are stupid long and they only had one cart going for most of the ride. The walk kills your feet and the lines are the worst. They said it would only be 30 minutes, I waited for an 1 hour and 45 minutes only for a 90second ride. Not worth it. It would be fun if you get fast passes but they are so expensive. The food is also expense. I couldn’t find a water under &6.50. Other drinker were more than $8. Stupid.The rides are great though, but I only got to ride on 5 before the park closed.

A very nice six flags location.Be prepared to do some exercise since it is on a mountain and there is always uphill walks right around a corner. Some rides were down but not to many. They have a couple of amazing Rollercoaster 🎢. The scare fest in the evening after 7pm was a nice touch. It is worth getting the flash pass but it is expensive.

And again a LOT of the rides are not working and some thar do, are running with train, so the waiting time is very long even though there arent that many visitors. Its Ridiculous how Six flags still selling the season passes and their promotions are still up and posted in every corner of the park, but wont respect the promotions. Food is cold and overpriced not worth it. Also it would be nice if they would inform everyone that they are No longer accepting cash and everything must be paid by card. very disappointed we tried riding as many rollercoaster as we could but we made line for 4 different ones and either we waisted 40 because rides got stuck and delayed or staff needed to call the assistant and that assistant needed to call another and another and another until the mechanic came in. several rides got stuck for at least 30 minutes out in sun. soda machines throughout the park werent refilled and drinks were carbonated water or hot 🔥 since ice ran out. not to mention the trash cans were full in many areas restrooms werent clean and the fright nigh what a joke.Definitely i wouldnt recommend it.

I recently visited Six Flags on a weekday and found it to be quite crowded. The wait time for the Goliath ride extended to nearly three hours, while other attractions required waits of one to two hours. Entry into the park took approximately 20 minutes, and parking was satisfactory.I recommend purchasing a seasonal pass to enhance the overall experience. Although the food was predictably expensive given the venue, the cost was notably high. For instance, a burger was priced at $19.99 before taxes and did not meet the expected quality for that price.In summary, I would recommend a visit to Six Flags for enthusiasts of thrill rides, provided they are prepared for the associated expenses.

Wait time is excessive. The app is unreliable, to say the least. Rides show on the app as closed but are actually open. For example the ride Goliath shows a wait time of 10 minutes but you are gonna be at least 2 hours in line. It’s very hot. You will have no shade wail waiting. Other theme parks do way better with trying to keep you cool while standing in line and being honest about how long the lines are on individual rides.

I have been going to Magic Mountain since the early 90s. Lots of great coasters and rides. Twisted Colossus is a real standout. I like all of the Looney Tunes and DC themed stuff in the park.Reasons for four stars: I no longer live in CA and during our last few visits, some rides we really wanted to get on were closed. The rides (particularly the launch rides like Full Throttle and Superman) break down often after a few hours of being operational. On our last visit, we waited in line 25 minutes to get into the park! The culinary options at amusement parks are usually not a thrill, but particularly so at the Mountain.Its a (mostly) great park with a lot of great thrill rides!

Great roller-coasters with anti-patron practices such as: running single cars to encourage long lines, making line areas exposed to the heat, & making waiting areas incredibly boring for kids. These are all so that you feel compelled to buy flash passes which are incredibly expensive (especially for families). Combine that with expensive but bland food and frequent ride breakages and I simply cant recommend this place. Go to Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm where parks arent run by MBAs.

Honestly, I think it needs a really good upgrade on a lot of rides. A lot of rides didnt work and were closed down. The bathrooms were flooded every time and every bathroom. But the prices to eat are very expensive. I recommend eating before you go or leaving and eating elsewhere.

Although I did not spend a lot of time at this park, like two hours top, the time I did spend was enjoyable. We went during the week before Christmas, and it was not packed during the afternoon. I did notice drives of teens making their way in the closer we moved towards dusk, but otherwise super quick and easy to get on all of the children’s rides.I stayed in the children’s section so not sure how their main attractions fare, but those rides were clean and nicely operated. We chose to valet which was a nice, seamless experience for us. Overall, I was really impressed with this cool, impromptu find!

I was there all day and could only ride 3 rides. They are cutting costs and running on an absolute skeleton crew. I had to stand in line for 45 minutes just to buy an overpriced burger. Not worth the money. I would avoid. This is a poor excuse of an amusement park

Sadly I am very disappointed with my experience with Six Flags Magic Mountain. We are celebrating our sons’ birthday and have a group of 10 people. With huge regret I have to say many rides where closed and more to it the ones that are open where having technical problems. In result the ride would close or you could stay in line but not knowing how long until it would te-open. This made the rides which where open have long waiting time 40-90min Today is a Thursday 8/10/23 it should not be like this when you pay so much!

Ive had a Diamond pass here since 2019...Love the rides. The food is mediocre, but this slice of cake from Coaster Candy (Next to Apocalypse) was absolutely the worst. Very dry and it had a strong refrigeration taste. I feel like it was 3 days old. Never had anything so terrible. Sorry Six Flags, stop serving this.

First let me say that tickets in-person cost about $120 per person, but you can buy them online while at the park for $65.. crazy. The best rides were Full Throttle (the best, rode it 4xs) and Wonder Woman Flight of Courage (got on twice). We had fun!Im 30 now and havent been to six flags since I was about 25 or 27.. I got a headache from the rides this time around.. I have no idea what thats about. I didnt get on X2, which I loved previously.Dont go on a hot day. It was hot when my friend and I went on September 30th, 2022. We got there about 11am & left at 4pm. We were exhausted from the hiking & the heat. I slept very well on the car ride home. Definitely got a tan.

We came last year and overall was a great experience so decided to come back again this year over one of the other parks. Unfortunately most of the rides were on and off not working or had lines from 1-3 hour wait because they were only using one cart per ride. I could understand if it was 1 or 2 rides but almost every ride which then more than doubles wait times.The food lines were then also 30-60 minutes long and seemed to be out of half the food items. None of the food employees seemed like they enjoyed working here and there was absolutely no rush in getting anyone through the lines.We decided to buy the dining plan because it said one entree or snack and a drink with “NO EXCLUSIONS” however when we went to order food they would tell us items weren’t included in the dining plan. That sounds like the opposite of no exclusions. At the end of the day we went to get a funnel cake and surprise they are also EXCLUDED! After having this happen throughout the day, I asked to speak to a manager and the employee just walked over to another employee and talked to them for maybe 5 seconds and came back and said funnel cakes aren’t included. I again asked to talk to the manager and she then said they weren’t available so she lied to us. She told us that ice cream however would be a dessert so we bought a funnel cake which obviously now cost extra. We then went to use our dining plan for the ice cream on the side and she said it isn’t included in the plan. We told her she literally just told us it was and she then said oh I just found out it wasn’t. So another lie. We then asked for hot chocolate and she said that’s not included and we pointed out to her that the sign above her head shows it is included. The employee next to her confirmed it wasn’t included and then told us they don’t have any now. So it appears that Six Flags has clearly misled me and many others with FALSE ADVERTISING which I believe is still illegal in California (any lawyers in the reviews?). So for anyone else maybe skip the dining plan or be prepared to not get what you think you’re getting.

Great experience! Roller coasters were awesome and completely worth the wait. It was an incredible day with lots of fun! I would recommend buying tickets in advance online, Because if you buy them in person it is more expensive. There was no wait to get in, but of course the rides had a wait time from 10 minutes to almost 3 hours. The one coaster that had a long wait time for the entire day was the X2. They were only running one cart, so it was packed all day and moving very slowly. It was still awesome and I highly recommend it! 😎
