2024-03-12 21:52:24Im travel for work and pleasure and Im always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, its rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, Ive found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you dont believe me, then try them out.

2024-03-07 17:42:14I really love this place!! What a gem to have in our community. The service is excellent and the baristas are so professional. The prices are reasonable, pastries are delicious (cream cheese danish, coffee cake… yummm). I also really love the vibe and atmosphere. I definitely recommend coming here and supporting this business.

2023-12-01 04:54:15During a recent trip back to my hometown of Inglewood, CA, I was delighted to stumble upon Sip & Sonder, a charming and cozy coffee shop in the heart of downtown. As a black-owned business, it felt special to support a local establishment contributing positively to the community. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance of Sip & Sonder enveloped me in warmth and comfort. The shop has a uniquely inviting atmosphere, with decor that makes it the perfect spot for both relaxation and productivity. What really stood out was their excellent taste in music, creating a background ambiance that was both energizing and soothing. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the caramel latte. It was expertly crafted, with the perfect balance of rich coffee and sweet caramel, making every sip a delightful experience. Alongside the latte, I indulged in a variety of their baked goods. Each item was a delightful treat, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying my sweet tooth.Sip & Sonder is not just a coffee shop; it’s a wonderful experience that combines great flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and a sense of community. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone in or visiting Inglewood, and I look forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their delicious offerings.

2024-06-08 19:14:50The staff is wonderful and patient, which I love. I loathe when it’s a hurry up and get your order - no love kind of rush. Not here. Nobody is in a rush - there is love in the items prepared and lots of friendly smiles. The lattes were delicious as well as the vegan pretzel croissant. Lots of milk alternatives too, which I love. If we lived here, this would be a go to for us.

2024-06-06 05:09:06I LOVE THIS PLACE. IVE ALWAYS COME BACK FOR TUMERIC LATTE BECAUSE ITS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY IT FROM. THIS ONE STAR REVIEW PURELY REFLECTS ON MY LAST VISIT AND THE QUALITY OF MY DRINK. THIS TIME THE TUMERIC LATTE WAS NOT IT. IM NOT SURE IF THE BARISTA WASNT EXPERIENCED OR THEY HAVE CHANGED THE RECEPIE. IT HAD WAY TOO MUCH POWDER! I ALWAYS GET IT UNSWEETENED SO THAT WASNT THE ISSUE. I TASTED VERY DENSE AND POWDERY. I WAS IN A RUSH TO WORK SO I DIDNT HAVE MY SIP UNTIL I PARKED AT WORK AND HAD TIME TO CALMLY ENJOY MY DRINK AND THATS WHEN I REALIZED ITS NOT HOW IT USUALLY TASTES. I WOULDNT BOTHER WRITING THE REVIEW BUT I JUST DIDNT GET MY MONEYS WORTH SINCE IT WAS UNDRINKABLE. AND WANT THE REASSURANCE THAT SOMETHING INDEED WENT WRONG BECAUSE ID HATE TO NOT BE ABLE TO GET MY FAVOURITE DRINK AGAIN.

2022-09-16 14:54:06Im currently staying with a buddy in the area and was encouraged to check this place out for some morning coffee. First and foremost, its a black owned business, so I was already a fan from the start. When you walk in, theres a smooth comfortable feeling you get. The music is soulful and the staff are pleasant. Theres plenty of seating spaces. The best part about this cafe are the prices. I ordered a pour over coffee which only cost me $3.50 plus tip (you should always tip 😄)Coming from the Bay Area, this was amazing. Finally, they brew their own coffee and the coffee itself tasted rather calming. It wasnt harsh and had a refreshing twist on it. All in all I really enjoyed my experience.

2023-04-24 15:16:46Ambiance: This place is a lot bigger than i assumed just by judging from the outside. But inside is open with a great amount of seating both inside and out, which I loved. Seems like a good place to get some work done on a weekend, no obnoxious music blasting over the speaker...Service: When there are too many options, I have a lot of questions. The people behind the counter were so good, helping weigh the pros and cons of my snack and drink choice. Not just the cashier, but everyone helped me. LolFood: I got the Iced Chai Latte with the chocolate chip cookie. They were both really good! Chai was silky and light. The cookie was warm and gooey. I have no complaints at all.
