I have been with this company since 2018. They used to be able to resolve support requests effectively. I left in 2023 to go to Dr Chrono because I have prescribers and SP is not provider friendly. I came back the last 2 weeks of March 2024. Back in the day if I submitted a change of vendor letter or asked for my enrollment records to be rejected they knew what to do. Now I cant even get them to do this. For 3 months Ive been having manually keying my payments.1. Furthermore, their create a follow up to a ticket url now just redirects to create another ticket so you dont even get the same people.2. Their View details link for payments would take you to the payment section of a claim and you could then click on view claim details and it would take you to the CMS1500 view. It now just redirects to the payment screen, which is entirely useless.3. They dont let you hard code things in like rendering provider taxonomies and allow you access to edit these, rather you have to fight with your providers for 1 week after giving them the simple practice knowledge base links showing them how to do it but its still too hard, so you end up just asking them for their login credentials and doing it as them.4. They dont have basic things other EHRs do like fee schedules, and they lump all their ERA reports on one line of the cpt code, so you cant see how multiple CPT codes paid out and ensure you arent getting under reimbursed which is a thing especially with UHC.5. they tie the CPT codes that you bill out into the calendar and when providers change the CPT codes it erases all your modifiers and code groupings which results in 0 payments.6. Their claim details almost always just report CO16 because they never bother to put in line level remark codes or remittance remark codes that actually tell you whats going on, so you have to research 95% of the claims in the portals anyways.7. When you know how to fix this all and just want access to their non public API and have asked multiple times because youre also a software developer. They dont even attempt to get you in contact with anyone in the company who can approve or deny your request to be a partner even when you approach it nicely stating you can help and give them your resume of all the consultations you have done for other EHR vendors.

Good product, very limited customer service. Ownership repeatedly demonstrates contempt for their customers. You know you are having outages over the last two months, yet refused to admit it, STILL advise people to clear their caches, and refuse to offer any compensation if any sort for issues that hurt patient care like telemedicine outages. It changing platforms wasn’t such a colossal headache we would have done it weeks ago. Or even back when you sold out to the venture capitalists and they immediately doubled the fees.

I am a patient and am having problems with brining BOTH of my providers onto my account.I have called Simple Practice and never get a response. I have tried to use your HELP chat, to no avail.I have left messages asking for help - no response. You may be fantastic for providers, but my patient experience has been anything but.You need to make your HELP more accessible instead of burying it so deep on your site.I will be sharing my experience with my providers and will ask that they research another online portal provider. This is so frustrating - certainly not patient-centered customer care by any means.Arrrgggggg...

I have been using Simple Practice since 2019 and until 2023, had very little issues. Now, there’s continuos problems and when I reach out, the tech just keeps going with the “clear cache, update browser” rinse, repeat. All the while, there’s outages reported on their website, which they neglect to mention. They have been merging with some other prescription platform and ever since the merge began, it’s been nothing but issues. Telehealth is glitchy. New updates aren’t an improvement. Important features, such as supporting multiple timezones is being overlooked, even though it’s actively being requested by numerous providers on their suggestions site. Oh but the price increase is on schedule. I am actively looking for a better platform to support my private practice.

BEWARE-CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT!!!!Horrible customer support! I received a message when I logged on stating my plan had been upgraded automatically due to updates. I received a message stating I had to accept the new plan or lose my account, which I have maintained over 3 years with all my data. I accepted, and when I went to manage my subscription, I could not click on it. I have emailed, used the help chat, and called on the phone but no one can help! I cannot ven get written information on my current plan or how to cancel the subscription. I cannot add team members. I cannot do anything. Dont walk....RUN!!!!!

When it works, its great....but twice in the 3 short months Ive had SimplePractice, the entire website has crashed and both times I was scheduled for telehealth calls that had to then be cancelled. This is lost revenue for me, lost support for clients, and really is hurtful to the consistent, predictable client-patient relationship. Theres been no outreach by SP to apologize, no refund, nothing. Disappointing

So far it has been a bad experience so far. Poor customer service. I was unable to verify my own account despite contacting customer help. They kept asking to do the same procedure (which had failed several times). It took several days to have the issue resolved. Meanwhile, I could not add patients to my calendar nor write notes.

We have experienced significant revenue loss due to the platform continuing to crash over the past weeks.Requests for tech support are ignored or redirected to “file a support ticket”.If there is not a complete and full solution in the next week, I will pursue legal remedies and move my large group practice to another platform.

Ive been using SP for 9 years (4 years in solo practice and 5 as a group practice owner) and its...fine. Its very expensive, and their reports are painfully lacking, and theres outages now and then, but Ive heard horror stories about every EHR, so for me its a the devil you know situation. If we could have broader access to data to create our own reports, Id be a lot happier.Update: Downgraded a star. In the last 3 weeks the outages and other issues have made it almost unusable. Weve made the very difficult and disruptive decision to switch EHRs.

Simple practice is ok, Problems with system: 1- not biller friendly- claims that need to be billed to secondary sometimes can’t be found and takes a lot of work to be found. System default to self pay when providers input client info. Causing claims to never being billed. Sooo many other problems with billing.2-updates are done in the most dumbest times. Updates should be done during off peak hours. This can take hours to complete which is a loss of $$$ for the company.3- messages are delayed, making it difficult to do the work efficiently. I would not recommended this software.
