Person who assisted us and performed the ultrasound was highly professional, friendly, caring, easy-going and made us feel comfortable. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Such a great center with amazing staff!

Best imaging center! I have been here a few times and they are always really helpful. Came for an x-ray and Bernadette on the front desk was amazing. She called to have my doctor’s office send over the script when I was unable to reach them. Easy to walk in if you don’t have an appointment.

I had to visit Simon Med Imaging for a procedure that I really was not looking forward to but it ended up being an absolute pleasure. Though quite busy, the receptionist was polite and efficient, the office was clean and seemed well run. Tanna, the lovely lady who performed my exam was gentle, professional and all around compassionate. I would certainly recommend this facility.

I would recommend this Imaging Facility to anyone who is in dire need.Keep in mind this location only has 3 modalities: MRI, Ultrasound, & X-rays. there are other facilities located in Los Gatos and Santa Clara.

The front office staff was rude and very unprofessional, very snobby. The lady that did my ultrasound was very friendly, nice, caring,very professional and understanding what I was going through. She should get 5 stars for her job!!!!!!!! I will not be returning to this facility again, and I will be posting this on YELP. It seemed like the front desk girls were nicer to Hispanics than other minorities. NOT GOOD, everyone should be treated the same!!!!!!!

I was already annoyed at this facility because they have a call center calling everyday once they receive the order. I made my appointment months in advance and then a couple days before they had me reschedule for whatever reason. The front desk staff had a lot of attitude when I had questions about billing. There were also redundancies of making me fill out the same questions online and at my visit, only to be asked the same questions by the technician who was irritated with how long it was taking me to fill out said form. All in all rude staff and I will make sure to try and go anywhere else but here for imaging.

I had an appointment for a pelvic exam ultrasounds this morning in Monterey. I was so scared when I came in. The front desk staff was friendly and got me checked in immediately. The tech that did my ultrasounds was so professional, quick, and kind. She made me feel safe and answered the questions I had. I completely broke down after I left the office because I was so worried about negative results and have been just living in fear for the past week. Dr. Yeganah, whom I did not meet, reviewed my images immediately, and provided diagnosis/results to my primary within 6 hours. I cannot tell you how much weight has been lifted off my shoulders being able to see my results immediately once they were submitted to my primary. Having access to my personal health records so quickly made me so happy and helped ease my worry and anxiety. THANK YOU for handling my images and care so quickly, you have no idea the positive impact it has to just have the information, good or bad. Not knowing and worrying is the worst, and I am crying happy tears because you all handled my tests so quickly and I dont have to worry anymore. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My experience was not good at all. My appointments kept getting canceled and rescheduled. Then when it got close to my appt I called to confirm because I had not received a confirmation text from them like usually. I was told I didn’t have an appt. My first original appt was made in Feb. for first availability. I was scheduled for March and got canceled and rescheduled for April. April came they rescheduled me. When I attended the appt they were unsuccessful with putting an IV in me for color contrast. I had to be rescheduled add left with a huge bruise on my arm. I had to be rescheduled for May. After months I finally completed my MRI’s. The last technician I dealt with was really good. I wish I remembered her name. The process and time it took to be seen could have caused a very unhealthy effect on my health and mental stability. SiminMed is lacking confident staff.

I went there for an ultrasound. The young lady who did my ultrasound was very helpful since my Dr retired and I didnt know what to do. Took a while to get an appointment bc of my primary care provider doing an awful job with my referral. They scheduled an appointment with me but somehow that wasnt confirmed with SimonMed? Imagine my surprise taking time off of work and not actually having an appointment. The entire time, staff were super nice and tried hard to get in contact with my doctor to set up an appointment. The lady that did my ultrasound was nice and helped me relax during a super awkward (intravaginal) ultrasound.

I was not informed about the procedure prior. I was left alone in the room the tech left the room. I became anxious and claustrophobic . After about 10 minutes I pushed alarm several times before the tech came in- I was told that I could have medication to calm but it was too late- I was then told there is a larger mri in Gilroy. I was so anxious and dysregulated that it triggered my asthma and that night I was awake with intrusive memories about the procedure and unable to breathe. I would suggest that information be provided in future prior to the patient for informed consent, understanding and to avoid trauma and unnecessary problems. It would be helpful for the tech to communicate and respond to the patient- thank you

Mixed reviews from here from my visit. Had to get an x ray and my doctor mentioned to just come by since they never pick up the phone the doctors office mentioned.. already a red flag, so I called no answer so I just came by around 11ish on a Friday. The girl at the front desk said they could take me in right away etc. I saw people coming in with actual appointments so I was like Ill just be patient. Too bad for me I waited around for 1.5 hours and got fed up and asked what the issue was since I had to go to work soon. The girl didnt even put me in the queue. So waited another 15 minutes and asked again since this one went on lunch and this girl said I still wasnt in the queue! How people get around in this world amazes me sometimes. So I came back another day with an appt and thank goodness the radiation tech was fast and straightforward but seemed to care a little about why I was there. So in short make sure you have a confirmed appt set up online so you dont waste your time due to wackos..

This was the first time visiting SimonMed.Because of traffic delays I was going to be 1 hour late. I called the office to advise of my tardiness.The receptionist (Bernadette)was very understanding and pleasant to work with.Their facility to located in a business district. It’s a clean facility with ample parking and access.I was there for x-rays, but they also have a MRI scanner.I highly recommend SimonMed and give them a thumbs up.

The desk staff were very professional and I did not have a long wait. Unfortunately, the MRI is an old, small machine and you truly feel like you are being stuffed into a tube. If you are the slightest bit claustrophobic, this is NOT the environment for you. Additionally, there was no music offered to help distract or calm. There was no option for light sedation. The exam was much longer than other companies due to the archaic equipment. I will definitely not return.

The actual appointment experience was great but getting the appointment was extremely cumbersome. The online venue wouldn’t let me choose a date and the calling in was to some remote headquarters that made me start from scratch each of the 5 times I called to get an urgent appointment. It seemed like no one was making notes in my file on computer and each went through a long hold to tell me there wasn’t an appointment, until the last was successful (perhaps my exasperation helped?).

I cant say enough about my recent experience at SimonMed. Bernadette assured me my urgent request for an ultrasound for my 8-year old was scheduled promptly, and the report was delivered to the physician in less than one hour. Tanna, the tech, was extremely sweet working with my daughter, and had us in and out in less than 10 minutes. Finally, the cost of the procedure was 1/6 the price quoted by the CHOMP out-patient imaging center. I see NO REASON to go anywhere else in Monterey for out-patient imaging--I cant recommend SimonMed Imaging highly enough. Thank you!

TWO RATINGS IN 1….I’ll explain. Experience with the ultrasound tech was 5 Star (kind, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable) while my experience with whomever is verifying coverage was 1 Star, so DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you arrive! I was told that I would owe nearly $500 for a routine ultrasound because my insurance “didn’t cover very much” so I called the number on my card in front of the office staff and within 10 minutes I learned that it turns out I only actually owed $54 DOLLARS, not $485. I know working with insurance is no fun for either party, but that drastic overcharge is inexcusable. *Get the CPT codes for your services then verify your coverage yourself (be sure to write down the reference number for your inquiry with insurance as well as the name of the person who helped you) or you may be duped as well!

My only real complaint of this facility was the VERY POOR ear protection for the MRI. I was given two soft foam plugs which did nothing. I have been other places that had much better protection. I expect to hear it but honestly my ears were painful during the procedure..

Everyone and everybody at this location was superb. However, my prior visit was postponed 2 times the day of my MRI via a phone call. That would be fine, but I live 1 Hour away, I told them that, and the machine was broken, not once, but ad I said twice.Tremendous pain in my knee… Anyway, no cancellation this time, and like I said above, it had nothing to do with the great staff there in Monterey.

Well, when I got to the doctors office with my CD in hand we found out it was blank. Not happy about that at all. Also the earplugs offered didnt fit in my ears so I who have very sensitive hearing had to deal with that huge loud sound so again not very happy it would be nice if there were wax earplugs available for people who cannot use the phone ones.

The lady who handled the payment and insurance coverage was extremely rude. She said my portion was over $65.00. So I asked her the total price of X-ray. She couldn’t tell me. But then she spent a few mints on the internet and accused me that she has told me it was $120.00. Then changed the copay from over $65.00 to $40.00. When I asked her several questions, she gave me evil eyes and made me look very uncomfortable! I will call my insurance company to find out about the price and co-pay. Because I really don’t think she knew what she was doing. Her attitude was very rude, immature and unprofessional!

The automatic scheduling system of Simon Med was a little redundant, I kept getting calls to schedule an appointment after I already did, which kicked me back out to an automated loop. The scheduling staff wasn’t as knowledgeable as I would’ve liked. However, the front desk staff, technician, and support staff at the local facility I went to were top notch, compassionate, professional, and kind. The experience would be five stars if not for the unfortunate centralized scheduling system.

This location is great the whole industry is a patients last experience. I understand that humans are expensive and bots let the humans in the company do more interesting things but the text bots and the phone bots make life harder for the humans that need the service.I needed an X-Ray My Dr gave me the referral and I quickly got a text inviting me to schedule my visit. I follow the link in the text to a website that blocks my password manager from managing my account. Fine I will call instead. The phone auto attendant says X-Ray patients do not need appointment just walk in. So I walk drive in Thrusday just after 3:00, after a bit of discussion they tell me the tech just left and wont be back until Monday.When I came back and the thech was there everything was perfect. Easy and friendly service, decent waiting space. Courteous and competent tech, exactly the kind of experience I wish the medical industry delivered more often.

I registered and completed all forms, including check in, online. I received a message close to the time of my appointment asking me to let them know that I had arrived, which I did, and I was asked to go in.The receptionist was cordial and after looking at all my paperwork online, she asked me for my copayment. The image specialist took me in on time, she was very friendly and polite and proceeded with my scheduled test. When finished, she walked me to the exit door. I had a very positive experience. It has only been 24 hrs. so I haven’t heard back from my doctor yet. I had read some negative reviews about this business online, some from 2019, so I didn’t know what to expect but my visit was excellent.

Maybe a week prior to my appointment, I went in and completed paperwork. I was given an appointment nearly a month out but put on a wait list. Shortly thereafter, I was called and was given my appointment the following day. But the best was, when I walked in the gal at the desk actually remembered me and a “sidebar” (nondescript) conversation the week prior. The staff at the local clinic are fantastic. My lower rating is due to the difficulties communicating with the call center staff. First frustration: You can’t call the local clinic directly and sometimes, like yesterday, the call center representative can’t even find the number to call my local clinic. Call representatives are still working from home so when they call random numbers from anywhere in the US show up on your phone, so you don’t know if it’s spam. Then it takes forever to get someone back on the phone. Next frustration: if there is an issue with insurance authorizations or other documentation they don’t tell you until the last minute. My insurance mistakenly denied my original authorization request and it wasn’t until two days before my appointment SimonMed called me about the situation. I booked the appointment almost 3 weeks in advance. That’s not enough time to contact my prescribing provider to have them issue the auth again. So I had to reschedule. Then the morning of my new appointment I get another voicemail saying I need to reschedule. It was super stressful trying to sort out why I again needed to reschedule right before my appointment. However once I got into the office and showed the receptionist my new authorization she took care of it. Just wish I didn’t have to deal with the call center middlemen.

I have come twice for pregnancy ultrasounds. Both were very unpleasant, but my most recent in January 2022 was terrible. I will say the receptionist is very kind and helpful. The fact that scheduling is not on-site can be a pain. I was cancelled on/rescheduled several times (but that’s expected with Covid). Last time the rescheduled me for later in the day. I specifically asked if my husband could come in. They said yes. When the tech came to get us she was abrupt and rude from the start. She said my husband could only come in for 5 minutes. I politely let her know she should confirm what the receptionists are telling people as that wasn’t old to me. She had a rude response. I know for many 5 minutes is enough, but we are coming off a pregnancy loss and it was important for me to have him there. We get into the room and she continues to be rude and make statements/ask questions that I had no control over (like how my midwife put in the order, etc). She also rudely said well it’s too early to see the gender—both my husband and I looked at each other oddly and said that’s fine, that’s not why we are here. She knew I had had a miscarriage and knew I was currently in for a check on our current baby due to some concerns I informed her of. While I understand other ultrasounds and procedures are done in the exam room we were in, it’s still a terrible set up. My husband was across the room. I couldn’t see the monitor at all. As I’m laying in the same spot where we found out about our loss before I start to tear up and she starts the ultrasound. You would thinking knowing my history, my tearing up, and why we were there she would have immediately said there’s the baby or something. Nope. She kept moving the device and clicking away. She then rudely told me to empty my bladder. I called my husband into the bathroom and asked him if he saw a baby/baby was moving. I came back without him. She started again. Then asked where my husband was. I said I sent him out as I thought he could only be there for 5 min. She then schooled me on how much water I needed to drink. And was rude when I informed her that was all I had drank. Never once did I get to see my baby on the monitor moving. Never heard the heartbeat. She never said the heartbeat. She printed a few pictures at the end. Beyond rude. No sensitivity or trauma informed care.

When I walked in there was already 3 people in so I said, Oh I’ll wait outside and the receptionist said no, it’s ok to come in. Meeting at the Monterey office and getting the MRI was an excellent experience. However, trying to make an appointment was difficult and disappointing. Dialing the local number meant being redirected to another place in the USA. In this case it was Florida. I called weeks ahead and made an appointment, which was confirmed by the agent, only to find out later that that appointment wasn’t scheduled. A different agent at that time was able to schedule me in. Why was this important? I was suffering a severe injury to my shoulder and needed an MRI immediately for the doctor to evaluate. Had I not been scheduled the worst case scenario would have happened. It’s about trust and the system you have in place is horrific. The Monterey office should be able to answer calls and provide for appointments rather than someone across the Continental US showing no accountability for the job they are supposed to do. In medicine, it’s trust isn’t it?

I was initially contacted by someone in a different area code for scheduling my appointment for an MRI. A few days before the appointment I was contacted by someone locally who left a message and local phone number if I had any questions. My appointment was on a SATURDAY afternoon. When I called for directions to the facility on Saturday AM, I received a message that the office was closed. Call back on Monday. Then the call was disconnected. Seriously? I looked on Google maps and found the place.The front desk staff knew nothing about either phone call I received OR the recorded message. Sort of got the old I only work here response. However, I was seen on time by a very friendly and professional ex-ray tech who took the time to explain everything to me before I entered the imagining machine. No problems whatsoever once I got there.

Simonmed completely lacks customer service and is backed up for a month to get an MRI - even when the patient has been in an accident and is in substantial pain. They drag you through an extensive interview process to collect information… and then tell you too bad, can’t get an appointment for a month. That would be good to know before wasting the time!

Personnel were all efficient and caring. The technician who performed the imaging was especially kind and caring allowing me a break halfway through the process which was very much appreciated.Upon presenting the image to my physician, Dr, Wolbers could not bring up the thoracic imaging at the time of my appointment. It is unknown if this has been corrected.I would recommend this imaging center to anyone who asked. I find M.R.I.’s to be exceedingly painful, but this was offset by the kindness and compassion of the staff.

Have had consistent experience everytime I come here for imaging tests. Staff is always friendly and professional.Recently I had gone elsewhere for an MRI and the out of pocket cost was substantially more. I didnt know I had a choice. I plan to request SimonMed Imaging for all my future tests.

Awful staff, came in to be seen on Friday, couldn’t see me because machine was down, they never called me in advance, rescheduled for two days later and I came in and they told me they never talked to me about that! Now I have to find another spot to get my imaging done because my doctor needs them a lot sooner then what they have available. They want me to wait another month! Which was what I waited for for the first appointment! Do not come here!!!!

I was impressed by the courtesy ansd professionalism of all the staff from the women who did intake at the front desk to the X-Ray tech who did the X-Rays.Everyone wore a mask and maintained social distancing. The tech told me when the films would be done, when my dr would receive them and approximately when he’d get back to me.

When you find out you need to do more to take care of your health, get your MRI and other diagnostics done at Simon Med Imaging Facility. I felt welcomed & comforted. Their medical & staff professionals were efficient and effective. I even felt pg after going thru that MRI tube thingy! Simon Med has earned my trust and respect. Friendly staff. Thanks to Sandy, Brenda & Jerry. They were considerate of my mild claustrophobia. Kept my eyes shut during the MRI and pretended the sounds from the machine were a concert. :)
