One of the factors that we looked for when picking an agent was knowledge. We used a VA home loan and wanted to ensure the agent we selected was very familiar with the process. Simon did not disappoint.I really appreciated that Simon was very responsive and easy to reach. His online platform is also easy to navigate.During open houses, Simon would point out things in the home or area that we overlooked. For example: type of roofing, fencing, water heaters, AC units, leaks, etc. All these things can cost a lot of money and time. When you’re browsing for houses you sometimes get caught up on how beautiful the house looks, and can overlook at how much actual work the house needs underneath the freshly painted walls and carpets. So to have someone point out all these factors was a big help.Overall he is knowledgeable, thorough, and gets things done. I would recommend him!

Simon is absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I are new homeowners with our dream house, and Simon made it possible.We were very particular with our requirements for a house, and it took us nearly a year to find the perfect property. Simon was extremely patient during the entire process, and guided us through each step with a caring hand. He was supportive from the very beginning of our search to the closing of our home, and he never made us feel rushed. Simon genuinely wanted us to find the perfect property and it showed in his actions.He gave us his honest opinion when we walked through homes, responded within hours of any of our inquiries, drove many miles to accommodate us, and made the closing process a complete breeze.If you are looking for the perfect realtor, look no further. Simon was instrumental in changing our lives. We found a wonderful home with minimal stress during a challenging time in the market. He was friendly and positive from our first call, and throughout the entire process, made us believe a new home was possible. He genuinely listened to us and opened our eyes to all possibilities. He set up a webpage where we could collaborate as a a team and clearly had our best interests in mind.We ended up buying a home different from what we planned in an area we didn’t initially have in mind. It was all our decision, but Simon helped broaden our horizons. He made it clear his priority was our happiness and his patience and willingness to continue showing us homes for the rest of the year was indicative of this. He is beyond knowledgeable and provides helpful observations that are not otherwise thought of. The business transaction was seamless. Simon developed a good relationship with the sellers’ realtor, drew up a contract with multiple contingencies to protect us and was on site for all inspections. He stayed in constant contact, slowly walked us through the escrow process and made sure we were fully aware of everything. The best part is knowing we can contact him for anything, even after the purchase.We could go on and on, but believe the fact that we miss spending our weekends with Simon says it all! From the get go Simon was phenomenal to work with. He made sure I knew what needed to be done to the house pre-sale, and what could be done to improve the appeal of the home. He was extremely patient with me during the preparation and selling process. He is forthright about potential courses of action but is keen to make sure we end up with the results which I am looking for. While I was on the opposite coast of the US he was fantastic at taking care of everything on the ground. I could not be more pleased with his services. I highly recommend Simon to anyone looking to sell a house. My next house in CA will be bought with the help of his services. Thanks Simon!

I recently was surprised by my current “rent to own” situation degrading to a “notice to quit” situation. Simon quickly went into action by providing all of the available properties in my area and making himself available to view these properties. Thanks to very concerted team effort, I was able to select from several locations and quickly make offers and close within 6 weeks. Thank you Simon!

Simon went above and beyond during our home search process and was with us every step of the way. He gave us honest feedback on homes we´d seen on line and patiently took us to look at houses for about 6 months before we found the home of our dreams. He responded quickly to all of my anxious emails and was honest and supportive with us as we struggled through a long and tiring shortsale purchase. In the end, Simon got us the house we wanted and negotiated a better deal that we could have bargained for...it worth the wait! I definitely would recommend Simon and would use him again if the need arises!

Buying and selling a home are some of the most important (and stressful!) events in ones adult life and we were told when we was getting ready to sell our home that there are two kinds of brokers - those who will list your home, and those who will sell your home. We are so fortunate that Simon Watson was one of the latter. From the first moment we met him, we were impressed with his energy, his detailed knowledge of the market in our area, and his professionalism. Our home was extensively photographed, and a video tour made of the exterior and interior (including a birds eye view drone video). Since we decided to stage our home ourselves, we were given thorough and excellent advice on how to set up our home interior to show to its best advantage. Because of Simons efforts, we had a quick offer - and because of his tireless support of us through the inspections and the inevitable back-and-forth offers and counter-offers with the buyer, we had a quick sale. Unlike other brokers, he was always on our side. We could not be more pleased and we recommend Simon in the highest possible terms, without exception or qualification. My husband and I were looking to purchase a home in the San Francisco Bay Area using a VA loan-- no small feat! We came across Realtor, Simon Watson, on YELP and contacted him after reading his great reviews. We couldnt be more thankful for Simons diligence, professionalism, and expertise, not only pertaining to Veterans loans (and the VA Condo approval list), but also to the entire home buying process. As first time home purchasers, we didnt know what to expect, but from the first telephone conversation that we had with Simon, he took an ample amount of time to explain and prepare us for what would be an exciting, albeit stressful, process.After visiting a few condos in Oakland, Simon helped us submit our first offer-- which was accepted! A few days later, however, the Bay Area Shelter in Place order was implemented and my husband and I became increasingly nervous about closing. Simon was there for us, every step of the way-- he was ALWAYS available by phone, text and email-- and not only kept the process moving, but he also kept us calm.He effectively communicated with our lender, the listing agent, home inspectors, electricians, and even city officials, on our behalf. I initially connected with Simon through a Trulia search back in 2013. I was looking to purchase my first home and had absolutely no clue about the ends and outs of purchasing a home. Simon has been extremely patient with me, informative, resourceful, warm, outgoing, honest and professional. If we were viewing a home together, he would be honest about the condition of the home and whether it suited my needs. Ive enjoyed the process of searching for a home with Simon. Its been 5 years (the length of time was due to my unavailability because of traveling) but I finally found the home that I love. I can now say I am a homeowner thanks to Simons superb negotiation skills and his kind personality. I would recommend him to anyone that is purchasing a home for the first time and/or second time around.
