Great spot for happy hour. Drinks and apps. 1/2 off. (You do get smaller portions keep that in mind) staff is super attentive and friendly. The have a great selection of happy hour items . Different prices from $5 to $9Check out hit & miss reviews on YouTube for ratings.

The Simi Valley Town Center is in a sad state of affairs. At least a third of the shops are vacant (probably closer to half), and every time Ive been there its practically devoid of patrons. The on-site directories are out-of-date, as is the Centers website. Its a shame, since its a really beautiful location with such great potential.

Two of the five coin operated vehicle machines dont work, the helicopter and submarine will eat your quarters and never start. The change machine does work, there were no signs for whom to contact if there was a problem.

It saddens me to actually see with my own eyes the decline of the Simi Valley Town Center. I rode my bicycle there yesterday. About half the stores are closed and there was only about a dozen people there and that was on a Saturday afternoon with good weather. Now Macys is closed... whats next?

So very sad to see how empty this mall is now. The person who bought it in 2019 is sitting on a goldmine. Its been sitting doing nothing for 4 years with no sign of upgrade or little to no new shops. The only stores worth going to are Bath and Body Works & the skateboard museum IMO.

This is a wonderful outdoor mall to stroll through with lots of great shops. I always like to mention parking on reviews and this place is spot on for providing adequate parking areas for whatever store youre looking to get to quickly! The dine in movie theater is one of my favorites and has a great drink selection!

The restaurants here are nice. The Shoppes however are a bit lacking. A lot of the shops are not retail stores, they are service types, such as a boxing gym, Dance Studio, ext.. also one of the main reasons for going here is Studio Movie Grill. It is a really nice theater showing new movies, along with food and adult drinks.

The Simi Valley Town Center was pretty cool, they had restaurants stores everything you could need if youre visiting the area and want a good meal or just to go shop. I dont like to shop much or malls in general but needed to pick up some things and this was a good experience. Has plenty of parking and wasnt super crowded. I found everything I needed and more. Bathroom was clean and didnt have any reason to not go back next time I need to shop. Lots of food choices which is good.

This was a fun place to chill, shop and eat with friends and family. Its clean, feels new and the environment there is upbeat, especially closer to the evenings and nights. As always weekends seem to be more crowded as well as nights in general. During the mornings and afternoons Ive found it more quiet, relaxing and less people in my experience on week days. Enough parking space if youre there before opening time - 10am and its busy at night after 6pm but the outdoor mall closes at 9pm; depending on restaurants I think close a bit later.

The restaurants and the movie theater is amazing! Thought I can easily tell they blew their budget on the movie theater and the good stores all closed off. No GameStop, no Apple store, Jamba Juice is gone, and many other clothes stores are gone.Whenever a relative or a friend wants to go here without a need to be in a restaurant or movie, I look at them with an eyebrow raised.

Friendly service, but I guess theyre still trying to get organized with the new pandemic policies. We had to remind them that part of our order hadnt been delivered. Comfortable seats, but they dont recline (not a problem for me, but might be for some). I was disappointed that they no longer have the amazing fish and chips that were my favorite!

Its pretty empty. It would make a really good place to race Go-Karts. One person could ride in the front and another could ride in back and throw bananas or turtle shells. A store could sell bananas and turtle shells, tripling the existing business within years. As Californias first Go-Kart Mall, people travel from as far as Egypt and as close as Simi Valley to see Simi Valleys famous Go-Kart Mall, the first in California. In fact, the first in the world. Simi Valley develops into a Go-Kart based economy, opening factories to produce parts, tires, flags, and merchandise. Our medical services elevate themselves to the highest standard in the lands due to ample practice treating Go-Kart accident victims. But then one day, an even bigger Go-Kart Mall is built in Akron or Tallahassee. The golden days of the Simi Valley Go-Kart Mall are behind us. As the mall falls into disrepair, the city dilapidates in kind. Without the tourism boost to our economy, people turn to drink and drugs to escape the dreary days. Dr. Phil visits Simi Valley to talk about it, broadcasting our shame to the same global audience on which our Go-Kart Athletes once stood so proud. Is this the nature of things, boom and bust, a flower once blooming but now wilted? What seeds shall grow where our fallen blossom meets soil?

Went to go see The Avengers End Game, with the kids! At Studio Grill, awesome experience, on Tuesdays its $5 a ticket, the food is delicious, and its worth the 1hr and 1/2 away to get there!! If you havent been, its a must go!! The crew are wonderful and attentive!! Wont disappoint at all!!

Red Robin. Kind of a sports bar-chain burger joint with an expanded menu. I had a side salad, onion rings, wings, and a prime rib dip with slaw and endless fries. Pretty good food actually. Teenage grandsons had burgers and batted cleanup for me. They really enjoy the place.

I actually am pleasantly surprised to see all the new stores opening up. I loved walking around and buying some gifts, it also feels positive being there and seeing the train with the little kids. Its pretty amazing considering just a few months ago it seemed emptier but its really filling up thank goodness.

Cool place to hang out. They have a lot of stuff for kids. They have a small train you can ride around it. They have a lot of shops to look at. During the Christmas holiday this place is decked out and has a tree lighting event. Lots of stuff to do and lots of good places to eat. Small play area for kids in the middle of the center.

The town center has such potential... but I dont know why places dont stay. Recently a marshals, ultra and charming Charlie have opened. So, hopefully thats a good sign. The movie theater is fantastic. There are two new restaurants (a tiny Italian place and a crab shack), hopefully people will start coming up this way and support these businesses

I used to enjoy shopping at the Simi Valley town center. There used to be many places to shop. The place used to be so lively. When the place opened decades ago, the town center was packed. Local news agencies used to take pictures and speak to guests shopping at the mall. There used to be two Macys. One for Women that is still open and the other is the Men store which is permanently closed. There used to be a Gamestop which is permanently closed. There used to be many restaurants around there and the majority of them are closed. In fact one end of the mall is almost a ghost town. The middle section is almost gone. Recently the Dreamworld Comics closed.Why?! Because every business owner whos owned the Simi Valley Town Center decided to raise the rent rates. The rent rates is what is killing businesses and hurting people like me to visit the town center. Last year in the local news sites, the new owners said they would bring back business and revenue to the place. Instead, the opposite has happened. Businesses are closing as a result of raising rent rates. If the town center has had many owners, isnt there just one owner who would notice that raising rates chases away businesses and guests?! So far, Zero.Im very upset and angry with how management managed to chase away businesses and people like me. We want to shop and visit the malls. Malls is an American tradition. Hanging out, meeting new people, shopping and seeing live attractions like car shows, Halloween themes, singing, rides, etc. Instead, it feels very anti-American.Did you know that people are leaving California by the Thousands?! Yes its true. Its all true. All because the politicians keep on raising taxes in the middle and poor class. They keep on raising rent rates on businesses. Then they look around and when people criticize them, they give the answer, We dont know why people would leave our great state of California? But it cant be because of the taxes we impose. The tax money is going to useful projects. Taxes is driving up homelessness in multiple cities throughout California. The poor is becoming the homeless. The middle is becoming the poor. And the upper class is still the upper class. Why do people continue to vote for the same party and the same people who still impose raising taxes?! Its beyond me.I hope someday a business owner will turn this place from an almost ghost town to what it was before. A thriving mall with businesses and people. Please lower your rates all the way down. Down to what it was at least twenty years ago. Then people would visit and shop at the Town Center.

Great parking! Great stores! The only thing I didnt like was that it was difficult finding the theater we were trying to go to, which made us walk a quarter mile out of our way. The sign wasnt truly accurate. It pointed to the right, which was true, but everything is on the right. Luckily, we got some exercise and to the movie in time. Friday night after the movie, the stores werent open and it wasnt well lit.

This shopping center has a lot of potential. I like the minimal shops they do have, but a lot of empty vacancies were there. The outdoorsey feel is nice and the koi pond is a nice touch. Events are held frequently and there is a cute little train that runs around the plaza. Good parking lot. Good security.

Very confused. This is a very nice mall, with beautiful views looking south across the valley. It is very accessible - the west bound Erringer offramp practically dumps you in the parking lots. However, they have very few stores of interest. Dining options are slim. And, as you’d expect, it’s basically a ghost town.So much potential though. Maybe they need a couple of anchor restaurants. Very pleasant though.

Movies aside, there are a few average restaurants and confectionaries, a sparse and limited selection of stores and numerous empty spaces for lease. The setting and potential fir this mall is great, and I would like nothing more than to give it 5 stars, but this place is in desperate need of new owners and management that can attract the right tenants and provide the necessary marketing.

I went to Lowes to buy a portable air-conditioner. They had only 3 units and all were the same brand and model. The price was the same as for a similar machine at another store that had a far wider range of brands & models. But at Lowes people helped me. I didnt need to look for anyone. First, a young lady swapped my cart for a flatbed. She also loaded the machine on the flatbed. A young man helped put the machine into my car after I paid. Again, he found me. I didnt look for anyone. This was a very pleasant shopping experience! I will return to Lowes every time I want something that they sell instead of buying from the competition!

So much to do here. There is a ton of things to do at this location. Even with the pandemic there are restaurants open, Verizon store and much more. You can run a couple of errands, grab a bite to go or enjoy a meal there. Stop by if youre in the area.

I was so excited when this mall opened. There was a good variety of stores, play areas for kids, dog friendly outdoor mall. The merchants always had water bowls & treats for the dogs. Although I didnt bring my dog to shop, I lived nearby, so I brought my St. Bernard a few times to walk him & let him get loved on by the kids & their parents.Tonight I was here @ Studio Movie Grill for a movie. It happened to $5 Tuesday. Great deal. I sat closer to the screen & discovered their recliner seats. I wasnt too close & seats were so comfy. After the movie, I strolled through the mall. Its a beautiful mall but its not what it once was. Now its mostly dance studios, art galleries & some specialty stores. There is a Rocket Fizz, Kid Gloves,Golden Heart Jewelry, Macys, Bath & Body Works, Gumboree, Journeys & Claires, Ulta, Charming Charlies (love) chair massage etc & some good restaurants. There are a lot of vacant spaces because the mall doesnt bring the foot traffic it once did. I thought a state of the art movie theater & the remodel wouldve really helped but I dont see that yet. Sadly, the Apple Store is pulling out in 9 days after 10 years here. This store is always busy compared to others, but I guess its not busy enough? I hope to see more variety come in to the mall. I dont want it to become an outlet mall as rumored.Our residents need to shop local & support this mall and maybe mall management needs to change to save this place? I wish I had the solution. Id hate to see it go.The tree lighting is something I look forward to every year. It is a great family event.

The town center is a very pleasant place to hang out at. It has the nicest scenery an outdoor shopping mall can have. The four seasons fountain is very well detailed and the mosaic dragon is a sight to behold. The fountain itself can be quite bizarre in of itself. As I was writing this very review here, the fountain itself unexpectedly stopped. It was quite bewildering. Anyways, in conclusion, the place is obviously filled with all sorts of surprises.

The Management has been working over time!!! This mall is making big changes and it shows. The Studio movie Grill is great!! The food court has been revamped and I hear lots of things are improving. This mall has always been a hit and miss place. Outdoor malls just arent something ideal - especially when the weather isnt all that great. This particular mall hasnt been able to effectively keep that many high profile stores, and going there on most days all you see are empty sections of the mall which isnt appealing at all. Going to the the movies is about the only reason why Im ever at this location.

I always like going to SVTC. Its a really nice place, despite feeling like a ghost town. Its a great outdoor mall to take your time and walk around with friends or family. The Studio Movie Grill is a great place for dinner and a movie.

Normally I like the selection of sandwiches, soups and salads but today I ordered Meatball sandwich and it was nothing like any meatball sandwich I have ever had. It was sliced meat of a rather suspiciousNature. Very grey in color and tasted like processed cardboard. Just awful. The Berry salad was edible and filled me up. I dont recommend the Meatball??? Sandwich.

This place has been a poor excuse for a mall since it opened. They have added a bunch of large stores lime Marshals and a Studio Movie Grill that has made it a place to go when you have specific needs but the smaller interior (keep in mind this is an open air mall) Stores come and go rapidly as there is little foot traffic. The only stores that stay are the goto places like the Apple Store or Vans Shoes. Even the Starbucks moved to a freestanding in the parking lot with a drive through.

The bathrooms are always closed, and there is only 1 restroom that is public at this mall. All stores leave here. There’s nothing good about this mall. If you ever have to use the bathroom here, you might as well go home instead since they are never open. Guest service desk is never staffed. Just horrible I only go here at all for one restaurant

Best outdoor mall has many good stores and a great movie theater. There is a train that runs from one side of the mall to the other. They have nice events and restaurants. The mall itself has quite a few vacancies and like other malls across the US probably wont last too long.

This mall has badly deteriorated over the years. Because it is an outdoor mall the heat of the sun is unbearable. Each time I go there are fewer and fewer customers and most of the stores are closed now Parking spaces between cars are extremely narrow putting your car at risk for getting dinged. I will continue to shop at the Oaks Mall at least there I can remain cool!

This center is such a disappointment. Since this mall opened we felt the owners didnt understand the clientele in Simi. There were stores that were too impractical. Most residents were hoping for Old Navy, JCP and similar types of stores. Now, all of those fancy stores closed and most of whats up there is dance studios and other youth sports places. I dont go there to shop. If you want to get a bite to eat and a movie, its great. But thats it. Its so odd to me to have all of the athletic gyms and dance studios in a mall. I cant believe what a misses opportunity this development was/is. Such a shame.

A largely empty shopping center, most retail stores have closed. The anchor stores, currently a Macys on each end of the mall, are very small and dont have a very good selection of products compared to the much larger stores at the nearby Thousand Oaks Mall, which is superior in every way. A movie theater serving food and alcohol during screenings was added and is one of the few draws, along with a handful of restaurants.

Great place to go with your child. It also has really cool stores. If your a gamer, go to the game exchange. If you are a comic nerd, there is a place where you can get props from masks to legos designed to look like people from games/comics. If you like movies, there is a studio movie grill. If you like sweets, right next to the comic place, you can get all kinds if weird candies and sodas. Many people say that its a ghost town . But I grew up there and almost dont notice.

The mall seems to be dying, the stores are closing down and the new ones that open only seem to be there for a couple of months before closing down and relocating, and even seemingly successful stores like GameStop closed and made even less people come. There isnt a lot to do at this mall. Many stores have left, including the apple store, the macys mens dept has been consolidated into one building and some other small buisnesses have left. The other problem is the fact that its an outdoor mall. No one wants to come here when it is freezing cold or crazy hot. There is a Studio Movie grill, which is cool and a Macys, and a Marshalls. But the thousand oaks mall has 5 anchors and its indoor and outdoor. This place is kinda sad these days cause there arent a bunch of people that come here.

I really like SMG mostly because they treat me and my Service Dog like were regular customers. Buying appropriate seats that allow SD to be beside me AND out of the way without any hassle. The other theater with reserved seating makes a point to announce to everyone that I will be forced to move if people with a wheelchair wants my seat. Im immediately made to be embarrassed in front of everyone. Not so at SMG. I am treated with the uptmost respect and dignity. So with that alone is the reason I like SMG above all other theaters in Simi Valley.

Went to tillys for shoes fir my son. We were not greeted when we walked in. I had to look and ask for soneone to help us. Help came right away. It was a bit difficult finding tnder correct size of shoe as to he kept giving us the in m incorrect size. After 4 different times that tube incorrect shoe was brought over he finally was able to bring the correct size. Unfortunately is was 2 rights. After another ten minutes searching we were able to purchase the correct size.Will try over one more time.

Go to this Mall if you want to witness first hand the decline of the suburban American Mall. There are a few holdouts among traditional mall stores that are still hanging on here. The piped-in Muzak haunts you as you walk past chained and padlocked storefronts. Some stores are occupied by martial arts studios, eyebrow threading, kids classes, consultant offices, any business looking for cheap rent apparently. There was a sign that the kids train has moved (it also stated that tips are welcome) but I didnt see any train. The welcome kiosk was unstaffed and the public restrooms were locked. There are still a few restaurants here, and I feel kinda sorry for them, so you should probably patronize them. I read recently that the mall owners are in default on their loans, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds, but from what I see, it looks bleak.
