This is hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, undeniably, VERIFIABLY the GREATEST dentist to grace not only the Diablo area...but dare I say the planet. From the front end to the dental assistants to the brothers themselves...everything about this place is incredible. I started coming here when I broke a tooth a few years back and will NEVER go anywhere else. You can really truly tell that they care about their patients and their well being. If youre reading this review and questioning, would this dentist be a good fit for me? I say the answer is a resounding YES! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. Cant sing their praises enough.

I would recommend to stay away. Me and my wife had fillings, initially they said X amount will be covered and I only need to pay the remaining Y amount. I paid that Y amount. After 2 months I started receiving bills asking to pay Z more amount. I ended up paying around 400$ extra.My point is when you are in this business, you know how much is covered for the process you are doing, if you are genuine in letting the patients know that amount before hand they would decide whether to get the treatment done or not. Later saying insurance covered only this much amount, you guys pay the remaining amount is the worst thing.The worst part is my wife had a cut on her tongue during the process.

THE LITERAL BEST DENTAL PRACTICE IVE EVER BEEN TO!!! 10/10I went to see Dr. Nathan today and let me tell you, he and his dental assistant Jenna were GAME CHANGERS. I am generally someone who breaks out into hysterics regarding all things that that require me to make a dreaded dental appointment... & I wish that was an exaggeration (Im sure my husband does too). I had a dental emergency today and after coming to terms with the fact I needed to make an appointment I made my way (was tricked and then carried into a dental office) to Dr. Nathan. I was prepared for a panic attack but instead I was given the best, most comforting dental care I have ever received. Dr. Nathan and Jenna explained everything they needed to do and why, and they were very receptive to my nervousness (my inability to stop crying for the first 10 minutes). I did not feel the numbing shot nor any of the work that was done. He was thorough in letting me know what he was doing as he was doing it and keeping me in the know helped keep me calm. After the work was complete we discussed a follow up plan and I have to say, for the first time in 50 years I was fine to make a future appointment without the automatic assumption Id cancel it before the time came... I feel as though I will be able to go in (& even walk in using my feet and not human carriage) with less apprehension in the future. I wanted to make this review for anyone who is scared of the dentist or is having a hard time finding a good one, I could not recommend this place and Dr. Nathan (+ Jenna) enough!!!

I’ve been going to Simarro Brothers Dental for several years and have always had a great experience at each visit. My hygienist, Jen, is the absolute best at dealing with my sensitive gums and both Nathan & Ryan Simarro are friendly & knowledgeable. When my teeth began to shift, it was recommended that I get braces/Invisalign and the treatment took less time than originally estimated. I highly recommend Simarro Brothers Dental!

I originally went to the Simaro brothers because they were close to my work (literally next door) but stayed because of the quality of care. They are up front about costs and extremely thorough. It had be years since I had last seen a dentist and unfortunately needed quite a few cavities filled. They took care of me, the experience was painless and they took my work schedule into account, which I greatly appreciated. I now see them two to three times a year for cleanings and always leave happy. I am absolutely terrible with names but I want to thank Jen and Taj for taking care of me.

The best dentist office (not just the dentist, the entire office) that Ive ever been to in 47 years! I have Dentophobia and they have continued to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable no matter the procedure. The warm scented face towels during your procedure are just the cherry on top! Very very upset to tears I was not given a better explanation of fees up front. Due to delta dental going out of network I was advised I would have to pay then get reimbursed from insurance. I was told amount would be around $140 but going to leave I was charge $287. That is more than double the amount I was estimated. Once I get paid I have to call then they will send claim to principal and see what they cover. I understand this is no fault of dentist however I would have canceled or rescheduled if I was told a more accurate price as I may not be poor but definitely not fun to be surprised like that.I will add that we have been going to same dentist for years and I love the staff great people and that is why I felt comfortable with paying what they originally told me $140 and then waiting for reimbursement I was glad they called and gave me that information ahead of time so very very upsetting that I was not told correct amount because I got yearly X-rays and that’s separate.If you have Delta Dental please make sure you are aware they are out of network and you are told exactly what fees will be up front don’t get shocked and your afternoon ruined like me.

I was new to this area and had no idea where to go. Personally I really don’t like to go to the dentist. I had a horrible tooth ache and A friend of mine recommended this practice to me. When I walked in the door I was greeted with a staff that made me feel like I was part of their family.The Doctors were just amazing! It made me glad I went and look forward to my next visit. He was so happy when we left the office. He commented to me on the way to the car, “I really like this place. The staff and doctors really know what they are doing and I feel like the equipment they use is modern and up to date. Loved my first appointment! Great office, beautiful with relaxing music. Everything was very clean. Did all my paperwork via computer so it was quick and readable. Dentist was wonderful, excellent bedside manner. Xrays digital, so fast and easy. Staff explained every procedure and cost, clearly and in writing, with each procedure and what the insurance paid and what I would have to pay very clear. I am dentist phobic and I felt very reassured. I don;t know about pricing since I havent been to the dentist in so long but I will say even without insurance, my root canal will be about $300 less than I paid 4 years ago. I will follow up with another review if the quality doesnt stay this high.

The office staff was one of a kind. The Dental hygenest was very nice, and kept me informed every step of the way. Showed me my X-rays,explained in great detail what was going on.Dr. Nathan Simarro was very cool. He never once tried to push anything on me, he was thorough and what a great sense of humor, and the way to explain it I guess was a very casual attitude.The equipment they use is the best you can get in the industry, and my cleaning, X-rays and exam were all pain free.Dont hesitate, these guys are the tops in there field.

Patients beware...this is a scam dental office. I went there for general cleaning but ended up having many other expensive treatments done to my teeth. First they convinced me that my teeth needed deep cleaning and crown implants, which are not necessary (found out afterward) then told me that my insurance did not cover the amount that I was charged (my insurance covers 80% of the treatment). So I ended up paying extra out of my pocket. Moreover, they charged for treatments that were previously paid for. This made things even more confusing for patients. I do not recommend this dental office for any one.

I have such a fear of the dentist! When I first began my visit with Dr. Miller over 10 years ago, he listened to my concerns and heard my past pain. He has always remembered our first meeting and his dental care has been supreme. I wouldnt go to another dentist if you paid me! They were very accommodating I was given an after work appointment. Dr. Simarro was gentle with the instruments and the drill. I hate the sound of that annoying drill but I was able to relax while listening to music through my earbuds. Dr. Simarro worked at a consistent pace he didnt rush even though it was late evening. The staff is always polite, patient and they take time to explain procedures so that you are comfortable with your treatment. I love how this office is up to date with the newest equipment and lastest trends in dentistry. You can trust Dr. Simarro he is very knowledgeable and confident that you will be happy with his work. If youre looking for a great Dental place this is the place you need to come to. The staff is very helpful especially Sue the office manager and Taj was very friendly. I went in to get my teeth cleaned and to check on what I thought were cavities. The Dental Hygienist Sue was awesome! Dr. Simarro did an exam on my teeth and told me they were in great condition. I enquired about invisalign with him and was very happily surprised that he could have my teeth straight again in about ten months.Sue was very helpful and was able to fit me in the same morning to get my impressions done. She had the assistant Leslie do this and again I was very surprised, she was able to get this done in under 15 minutes.The office is very clean, the staff is very professional, upbeat and helpful. I would definitely recommended everyone to come to this office.

SO GLAD I found them. My first time here was Feb 2016 because my tooth chipped. The 2nd appointment was supposed to be 2 weeks after I had seen Dr. Ryan but an emergency situation happened and had to cancel that same day that I was supposed to come in that early morning. The office ladies were not mean at all like some other places Ive been when trying to cancel or reschedule my appointment. They were all so welcoming and made me feel at ease with everything. They even watched my baby girl while I had my teeth taken care of today. ALL such wonderful people and so SWEET all around. I will be a patient for life :)

I am very disappointed with this dentist I had 2 crowns done and the dentist does not do the actual fitting and placement of the crowns everything is done by his personal that is why I am having pain when I eat. I never been to a dentist that does not take care if his patients and doesnt supervise his employees work. I went back 3 times so he can file the crowns to see if they will work but I still get pain when I eat on top of that last time that I went to see him to correct his bad work he charge my insurance now if I want to get a second opinion from another dentist I have to pay out of my own pocket.

I initially came to Miller & Simarro Dentist for invisaligns. They quoted me for 8 months but I thought it was too much for only having to fix 1 crooked tooth. I also kept telling them that I was covered under 3 insurance but they only found my name under 2 insurance, so that was a disappointment. On 10/28/2016, they emailed me $500 off of invisaligns and I decided to give them a call the next day to inquire. One of the reps, notified me that it didn’t apply to patients who already have insurance coverage… so I said nevermind. Then a few days later, I get a call from one of the reps and notified me that I am covered under 3 insurance and that I do qualify for the $500 off… I thought wow and went ahead to get my invisaligns appointment started. I came in and they quoted me for a much higher price.. why? I dont know. The rep didnt really explain the price difference well but I knew something was wrong. There was also no clear breakdown of the price difference on the contract. I paid the full out of pocket price but went home and inquired about my insurance coverage. I found out that I was charged $50 extra and had to exchange multiple emails with one of the reps until my point came across! I finally got my $50 refund and thought wow, that was a rough start. Theres no going back now..I just finished my 8 months of invisalign, but my tooth is still crooked... which is disappointing.. again. Theyre offering me to just shave my tooth but I dont want to since thats more money involved. I had asked if it can just be fixed how I want it to be but I was talked out of it.Im moving on to a different dentist.Thank you.

I had a a previous bad experience at a dentist while getting a root canal it was the worst pain ever! Besides my tooth hurting that doctor hurt me even more. I googled and yelp for another doctor where I can go to where I can no longer be afraid and scared while eating dental work. I found this office and the moment I stepped in I was in dental heaven. The staff was absolutely awesome and the doctor was amazing. We did a consult and he broke down what needed to be done explaining every single thing to me.
