Just opened a storage unit today with Gizelle Mora. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming right from the start. We told her our situation and she was able to assess what size unit we needed from there. She was able to show us an available unit right away, and we were pretty much sold at that point. Always clean, good prices, and exceptional customer service. My only complaint is that the size of the units is often off by as much as a foot from the stated size. I realize it’s common practice for storage places to give approximate sizes, but since what you’re paying for is square footage, it would be helpful if they measured the units and gave more accurate info about size.

Highly disappointed with this storage place. I went on memorial day weekend to grab a couple items from my unit. There was no notice that the facility was going to be closed. Usually they leave notices a week or two before and unfortunately there was no notice.

I am picky and it took me a lot of calls to a lot of self-storage facilities to finally decide on Silverhawk. My criteria were having an on-site manager, not being in a low or flat land due to the potential for flooding, good rates, and many security measures including video surveillance. On top of this, all the staff are so genuinely kind and helpful. LaToya, the resident manager, talked to me over the phone, helping me choose just the right unit for my needs and never made me feel rushed. She even reserved a unit for me as a courtesy, then I came to find out later that it was their last unit of that size. So grateful! The storage facility is so clean it seems like it’s new (not sure how old it is), well lit, provides moving carts, and even has a good music soundtrack playing over the sound system, which makes the whole moving-in thing relatively pleasant. It’s also good to know that they will provide a moving van and driver for free, but we decided to rent one on our own so we could have the flexibility of slowly loading the vehicle over the course of the day. I am very happy with my choice.

They held a locker unit for me for a day while I considered my options. When I called back to confirm my selection LaToya was very friendly, helpful and professional in taking my reservation and assisting me in getting the best locker for my needs. When I went to the storage facility with my belongs two weeks later I met LaToya who again was very helpful. I love the overall appearance of this storage facility. When its hard to find a 10x20 temp controlled unit in our area, this place had the only one within 50 miles of me. The manager, Christian, was very helpful, and getting signed up was easy. I was surprised by how friendly the staff is...not like my last experience at an unnamed place. Im sure our stuff will be safe and secure. I gave it 4-stars because of a miscommunication in the quoted rate versus the rate that came in on the contract (contract was higher by about $30. Took some back-and-forth communication to resolve, but they did get it straight at the end.
