Office botched a surgical procedure and then charges CRAZY amount to attempt to fix their own botched procedure. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back, and ever since this group was bought by a private equity firm, the quality of care has tanked. Patients are treated like cattle, to squeeze as many patients as possible. I don’t recommend this office, there are many others with much higher quality of care, and less greed.

I was seeing a dermatologist here for a rash on my face. I don’t really have an issue other than the fact that instead of giving me cheaper options to resolve my issues they recommended their ridiculously “medical-grade” products. I would feel more comfortable if this dermatologist found OTHER MORE AFFORDABLE alternatives then their $250 serums. I have spoken to my friend who has seen several dermatologist and she said she has NEVER been haggled about her dermatologist pushing their products on her and always giving a more affordable option first. I will not be coming back to this dermatologist for this reason /:.

Silverberg Surgical has always been one of the best medical centers in Orange County and I’ve always been grateful for their care. My husband and I both had appointments for our yearly skin check. We were treated by Dr.Trivedi who is both knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We were both so impressed and so happy to have her as our doctor. We left free of any previous concerns and in great spirits due to her great humor and kindness!The front desk staff is also so friendly and efficient.

Dr. Meshkinpoor is excellent. She is thorough and listens to me without making me feel rushed. I always have a pleasant office visit. The staff is well trained and also very nice. My only wish is that she had more hours at this office. It is difficult to get appointments to see her.

I have been coming to Silverburg Dermatology for over 10 years for skin checks and always feel like Im in good hands. Ive had various biopsies and atypical spots removed over the years and really appreciate the service Ive recieved. Ive seen Sarah Standel for years and she has been so thorough, knowledgeable, and skilled, whether it be my questions about skin care, or incisions and biopsies, it has been great having a professional I can trust. Definitely 5 stars!

Waited 35 min. for an 11:00 apt. Left without any product for scalp issues and brief dialog on treating my inflammation systemically but never came to fruition. Refused to freeze bumps on face and other areas saying freezing not warranted. Will not be going back to this office.

The Staff and Assistants are always prompt and friendly. Once my appointment is made I receive a reminder notification, they also confirm my current contact and insurance information is up to date before arrival. Dr. Karavan is very thorough with exams and answers all my questions. Visits are always quite comfortable which include an assistant present at all times.

I visited the Newport Beach office, I had a PDT treatment on left arm today. The staff was professional and friendly made me feel welcome. The final part of my visit was when the light is put on my arm to activate the medication on arm. The nurse / staff was great !!! I didn’t remember her name but she helped me get through the hard part of this procedure. This is the only place to go to get great service and receive great care from the doctors here.Scott Field.

It was my first time to this office and Dr. Trivedi and her assistant Brianna was so so kind. Dr. Trivedi explained the whole procedure and options in detailed and throughout the process, explained every step that she was doing. From start to finish...AMAZING experience. The ambiance of this office is just so tranquil and beautiful. The staff welcomes you with warm smiles and are all so pleasant. I went in to get lip fillers from Doctor Karavan. What a perfectionist she is! And so detailed in the aftercare explanations. She was very very nice and spoke to me through the procedure to make me feel comfortable (it’s been about 3 years since I’ve had lip fillers). She even let me know what part would be the more uncomfortable “pokes” before she did it to let me prepare myself! I can’t say enough great things about this office. They even have a consultant named Jen who is an expert at skincare routines. She helped me pick out the best products for my skin and I left with an actual routine for my skin!!! I was so excited to start practicing a routine as I am newly engaged and want my wedding events to have flawless pictures with fresh beautiful skin. I even booked a facial next week that’s how much I loved the office. I’m also not one to write reviews but this office NAILED IT!!! Thank you Silverberg office!

Very accommodating from the first phone call. I was able to make an appointment within a few days. The check in was seamless. Very clean and appeared to be Covid safe. I was sent documents to fill out and submit before my appointment, so check in was very easy. The staff was excellent. Listened to my concerns and within a few minutes the doctor was in to see me. She was very professional. Talked about the concerns I was having and let me know what she thought was going on. Made a reasonable treatment plan and asked if she could help me with anything else. I was escorted to the front desk to check out. They had a minor glitch with their computer at check out. I waited a few minutes and they decided to move me to a different computer to check me out so I wouldn’t have to wait and I was done. Very pleasant experience for a not so pleasant reason to see a dermatologist. I had a similar experience three years ago and saw a different dermatology group. I did not have nearly as nice of an experience. Hence the reason I was looking for a new doctor. Highly recommend!

My husband has been going to this office for 2 years but this was my first visit. We both highly recommend this practice!! Unfortunately i had to wait 45 minutes - generally with this practice, if a patient is over 10 minutes late, they are refused the appointment and must reschedule- when the doctor did come in, it was a VERY rushed visit. it was my annual skin check visit, so sure hope she was focusing during her rapid assessment.

Not the same as it used to be. Doctor has No bedside manner. Completely rushed through the appt. barely even looked at skin. Wouldn’t discuss questions or overall concerns with skin issues. Acted annoyed and cold with no interest in spending more than 5 minutes in the room. Never been to a doctor when they didn’t even look at condition you came for. Just rude n unhelpful. Waste of hard earned money. We miss dr Nancy silverburg.

Had a squamous cell on leg removed by another dermatologist. Site was very red and painful. Was fortunate to be seen by Sarah Standel as she examined site, did a culture to make sure no major infection and prescribed antibiotics. She called 2 days later to see how leg was healing. Many years of 5 star experiences. Since it was purchased by West it seems doctors (that I liked) are leaving and new ones show up. That may be indicative of the new owner. Today was the first time I felt like I was being rushed into procedures without explanation and discussion of options. Didnt feel like a patient, I felt like I was an opportunity to get more billings. When I declined the procedure I felt the new doctor was disappointed and basically lost interest and left.

Dr. Proffitt was the third Doctor I saw for a recent (3 months) issue with mouth sores Ive never experienced before. When I went to see Dr. Proffitt - I asked him if we could be aggressive in treating them since nothing the other Doctors told me to do worked. I told him that I felt like there was something internally going on and didnt feel completely healthy. He immediately said yes and included an antibiotic to help fight the issue internally. Within 3 days my sores started to lessen and within a week were gone - I was thrilled! Plus, he ordered lab work and also a yeast pill to help alleviate my other symptoms. I received a call after my lab work came back and I am now sore free! Great demeanor as well. Thanks Doctor Proffitt!

The day I walked into Dr. Liems office 8 years ago, I had a concerning mole on my face right in the middle of my cheek. It actually didnt bother me too much as it was small and dark and I reckoned it looked kind of cute, like a beauty mark. But I had just visited two other dermatologists who wanted to extract it immediately during my first visit which would have left a chunky pit on my cheek. Dr. Liem was the first to recognize that this is my face and I would rather take some precautions with regards to permanently scarring it. Furthermore, she immediately identified it as a blue nevis which is frequently benign and that we would watch the growth. It has not grown over all this time and has not been an issue whatsoever. She has removed basal and squamous and other irregular moles so I know she is quite contientious. She is so intelligent and sharp and personable. She takes time if I need it and she doesnt keep me waiting. And most of all, she cares about my feelings. Couldnt be happier!

Ever since this practice was bought by West Dermatology it has been steadily going downhill in my opinion. The doctors seem to be programmed to cut as much as they can - perhaps each thing they cut results in more $$. They speed thru your appointment to be able to see more people thus generate more $$. No personal care, no feedback, just “getum in and getum out”. A derm factory!!

My daughter saw Dr. Proffitt after her skin developed a rash. She had been seeing a dermatologist for light acne and suddenly developed a rash. The former dermatologist quickly lioked at her skin and determined it was dry/reacting to the prodicts. After no improvement and several months, we decided to see a doctor at Dr. Silverburgs office- they were referred by my daughters pediatric office.Dr. Proffitt asked questions, listened attentively, and explained what was going on, and the treatment he said will likely clear it up. The office staff was great as well!

I had minor surgery in office @ Silverberg 18 mo. Ago, due to a Squamous cell skin Cancer ! I like the Doctor alot ! The incision was approximately 1 in length ! Now, you cant even detect any indication that a surgery has taken place ! And this was on my face vertical to my nose ! My original Dermatologist from RSM has moved there ! Im very happy & dont have to drive so far !Dr. Karavan was from RSM & shes here with Silverberg Surgery ! Shes the bestDermatologist ever ! I had two bad experiences in the past, with two other doctors in the a area ! And Dr. karavan has the most beautiful, flawless skin, Ive ever seen ! Everyone is so accommodating here !
