Great experience and the best car buying experience I have ever had and I have purchased/leased 7 cars over the years, 2 from BMW. I retired this year and decided to make a responsible car purchase. Yes I would have loved a Porsche Taycan but...Subaru Forester had a great finance rate and a great product.Brittany was the best salesperson!She is knowledgeable, helpful, very personable and I never felt like she was pushy or overbearing in any way. It was a very pleasant experience overall.Sierra Subaru was responsive from the start and very attentive in meeting my financial needs. The entire staff was very nice and not pushy in any way! There are so many perks with the Subaru Forrester and Dominique explained all the different accessories and each feature and answered every question I had about the features, set-up my cell phone via Bluetooth and then gave me a $25 gift card for Chevron gas!!I feel I got a great deal, the car I wanted at the price fut my budget. I flipped on the sport mode and sped out of the dealership!We have already taken our first road trip up the coast to Santa Barbara.You absolutely cannot go wrong by going to Sierra Subaru of Monrovia to purchase or lease your vehicle. I had an excellent experience at Sierra Subaru after a horrible experience at the Puente Hills Subaru. Abby and Mike were so helpful and accommodating! They make your experience there like being at home. Mike was very professional and courteous. Truly cared to make things right and provided an excellent service. We received our car very promptly and with zero issues. Will only be coming here for any of my future service needs. I highly recommend Sierra Subaru dealership for routine service and car purchase service.

I went to this dealership because they had the car that I wanted. The process was smooth and they did everything to make the process as quick as possible.The horrible review is because after the car sale, I had issues. I have had to call the dealership 9-10 times and sent 7 emails because my car was totaled and I was trying to get a refund for my extended warranty. People would answer the phone and say they were going to help and call me back. No return phone calls. I finally got the warranty canceled and 6 weeks later, I still do not have the check. I called the extended warranty company and they told me the dealership handles the checks. So here I am again trying to get a hold of someone to find out where my check is and not getting any help.Due to their lack of ability to communicate, I will never do business with this dealership again. I could only imagine if I had my car serviced at the dealership, they probably wouldn’t call me and tell me it’s done.If your only interest is buying a car and doing everything else at a different dealership then this dealership is great. If you’re looking for a dealership that will return phone calls and emails, go somewhere else.

Came in for basic oil and to replace a tire censor, I waited for over 3 hours. Each time the service rep. spoke to me, he try sell a service that I didn’t. For example, he want to charge $250 to just look at the battery when a brand battery cost $150 . And he keep insisting on doing a 30,000 service when I simply wanted a basic oil change. That day was the worst experience ever had at Sierra Subaru. I’ve been Sierra customers for many years and bought 3 cars from Sierra, and now I thinking of finding another dealer to go to.

We bought our first Subaru from Sierra Subaru in Monrovia. We loved our Subaru and we loved our car buying experience so much that we told our friend about it and our friend went out to Sierra Subaru and also bought a new car. This year we upgraded to the larger Outback and we dealt with Abdul Ismael and Anna Robles in Sales. They were friendly, honest and wonderful to work with. *AMAZING*The Mrs conned me into going to the dealership to look at POSSIBLY getting out of our CBS 21 Crosstrek Limited and getting a Forester. She knows me and right away starts looking for a Crystal Black Silica Wilderness Forester.Enter Jeffrey Stevens. He walks up just beaming with positive energy. He greets us, asks what he can help us with, and goes on a hunt for our POSSIBLE adoption. Im thinking there is absolutely no way there would be one (I secretly built on the Internet two days prior) on the lot. After about 20 minutes, Jeff comes out with keys and says, I think we have one in the other lot. We get in a Forester, which he lets me drive, and head to look in the next storage lot.We get in a lot two minutes away and boom, there it is! EXACTLY, how I would have ordered it if I could have. Long story short, Jeff worked out an amazing offer and we happily adopted our new @Raven.Subie a 2023 Subaru Wilderness Forester. I leased a 2024 Subaru Forester. The agent, Michael Conquilla was wonderful. I took a test drive in the Forester & Cross Trek, but chose the larger Forester. It fits in my garage. The color I wanted was the color of the one I test drove. So I took it with only 22 miles on it. Michael was great - patient & knowledgeable, answering all my questions. All the staff were friendly & helpful. I highly reccomend Sierra Subafu for purchase or lease.

I was told to go to Sierra Subaru through a friend in the car biz, although I live 2 miles from my local dealership. I was helped by Leo and Oscar among others. I went here thinking I was going to buy a pre-owned Outback and left purchasing a 2024. I still can’t believe it, this is my first Subaru and now understand the brand loyalty that Subaru has. Everyone was genuinely excited for me and went above and beyond to help me. The GM, Christine met me on my way out, truly unexpected, what a fabulous team she has. If I could, I would give zero stars. I bought my car in 2020 and also bought gap insurance. I cancelled my insurance in 2021 and a few months later even paid off the car. They never gave me a refund. I followed up multiple times over the past two years. They kept giving me the runaround saying I have wait . However they are quick to ask me to trade in my car and purchase services from them. Those emails and texts dont stop. I feel cheated.update: As of April 16th, 2024 the current manager apologized for the inconvenience but has failed to respond about when I can get a refund.Update : April 20th, 2024 - the dealership finally gave me my refund ! It only took two and a half years !!! Big lesson: if you get gap insurance, know that it could take a long time to get a refund if you cancel it. Or you might not get it at all. It sucks that I had to hound them and write a nasty review in order for them honor their refund policy.

Bought my 21 WRX a few years ago and have had nothing but 5* service. Got a deal on my car at a time when other dealers were marking up. Got more for my trade than I was expecting. My daughter wanted to buy a Subaru 2023 Crosstrek for my granddaughters. We used all the available search engines to find local dealers and dealers around the state. We decided to purchase from Subaru of Monrovia. Our Sales Consultant was Joshua Villena. The dealership had a large selection of Model Year 2023 Subaru in stock. Most of our communication with Joshua was by text or email. We settled on a price before we visited the dealership. We arrived at the dealership a little late on a Sunday night.All the paperwork was ready when we arrived. There was no deviation in the agreement we had made with Joshua. The Finance representative didn’t try to sell us a lot of extras that we were not interested in. She did give us a lower rate than our Credit Union. We drove the vehicle off as the sales team closed the dealership for the evening.

My family and I were in the market for a new car and had been shopping for quite some time and tried multiple other dealerships with no luck. After seeing an ad on Facebook I called Sierra Subaru. At first I spoke with Leo who was very attentive and listened to what I was asking for. After agreeing to a time my family and I came in and were greeted by Shanye, from there she guided us through the leasing process with ease. Shanye was easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we were leasing and its features. From there we worked on the financing and paperwork with Tanya. Tanya was polite and fun to finish up our transaction with, she made things very clear and cut through any red tape. After the sale was complete Andrew the sales manager and Shanye came out to wish a farewell. Overall this was one of the best car purchase experiences I’ve had, Sierra Subaru will be my first choice for a car in the future.

On my recent spontaneous trip to Sierra Subaru, I was assisted by Michael Conquillo and Jeffery Stevens in sales. I had never really considered a Subaru, but my father had always talked about how good and reliable they were. Since Id been searching for a new car for probably the last 12 months, I decided to give it a shot. Went on a couple test drives, and then to talk numbers we were connected with Brandon Maya who helped with running the numbers. Honestly, the entire experience from beginning to end was the best that Ive ever come across at a car dealership, and Ive been thru the process many times. I was just honestly surprised how nice and pleasant each of the staff members (Michael, Jeffery, Brandon) were - the entire atmosphere and energy was just a no-pressure type of environment and I can really appreciate that. At the end, they made me an offer that I couldnt refuse and my random trip to Subaru turned into me purchasing a new 2023 Subaru Outback Onyx XT! I HIGHLY recommend Sierra Subaru of Monrovia which gives me satifaction each time I do regular maintenace here. Best part is the expert-honest unchallengeable diagnosis. I have, not once, found that they erroneously diagosed or overcharged on repiars, this is beacuse I have independently verfied repairs needed, since I have an independent help from an area service manager of a different car maker. Okay dealership but service department needs a lot of work.I took my brand new Crosstrek for a service and was underwhelmed. Lack of amenities whilst waiting for the car to get serviced.Staff were coughing and visibly sick with flu like symptoms. To top it off they didnt even offer to wash my car, despite other cars being washed. When I asked why others have had their car washed they said it would be another 45 minutes to do it!

Not sure how all these 5 stars are even real!!!Bought a 2015 WRX in late 2014 and remember comically how back then the three salesmen that teamed up on me to try and pressure me to drive the car out of the show room were commenting “well we can’t be sure this car will be here if you go back home to look over your finances…” and I replied that it didn’t matter cos if it wasn’t there then they’d just have to order the car in whatever specific color I wanted and have it delivered anyways..I ended up buying that car anyways and the following years had poor service with their maintenance dept for things as simple as an oil change.Fast forward to now. I recently had an accident that totaled that car, check in hand from my insurance office I email regarding a used WRX they had listed on the site for 19k. Brilliant! (I HATE the way the 22 and 23 look) They confirm it’s still available I call for a shuttle from Pasadena Progressive to there as I’ve done previously with no issue. There guy is off apparently. So I Uber over there at my expense and immediately the high pressure sales starts. Provided no carfax and gaslit about the features that are busted in this car. “Oh that’s a plastic part they all burn out like that” re: the engine cut out - my car was older and didn’t look THAT mangled! “There aren’t any LEDs on the gear shifter, you can see that on the console” there ARE SUPPOSED to be LEDs on the shifter bro.. I look it over and want it anyways even tho it’ll cost me a bit to fix up some of the uglies.. I have a check that more than covers the listed price and also have a pre approved bank loan just to know what my financing would look like should I choose that route - the salesperson insists that I see what financing thru them would look like and reluctantly agree. *Note I have NO IDEA how many hits they put on my reports but my credit score just took a huge dive for no reason at all other than this one occasion!! Then here’s the real kicker - bro comes out with the financing and casually drops that the price is now actually 38k FFFFffffffTHAT!!!! We haggle it down to 28 which is still massively overly blue book. I go outside to talk to my dad because I can’t believe they’re trying to make me pay for their additional security system (they said it would cost them more to take it off than for me to just pay for it) and the special “protective clear coat” on this seriously janky wack paint job and knowing I’d still need to replace the LEDs inside and completely replace the engine vent.. they send out no less than four people to take turns interrupting my call every five mins or so until they send out a fresh finance guy to come out and level with me that they’re not gonna budge a cent below 28k so I say cool thanks for wasting four hours of my life tonight. The financing they offered me was also WAY beyond the 6% my bank pre approved me for so they were only ever looking to do themselves a favor by generating more of my money via their secondary revenue stream. Looked on the website because I couldn’t believe the actual audacity going down and they changed the listing price from 19 to “call for price!” Total bait and switch, high pressure, BS, tacky old used car salesman techniques.They literally tried to make me feel like a beggar for offering 24k in full/no financing - the higher end of the Kelly blue book MINUS their surprise add ons to drive off the lot that night. Not possible they said. Miss me with this nonsense and I will NEVER step foot in this business ever again not ever recommend anyone to go there - even an enemy! Lost a customer FOR LIFE! I have no idea how a business survives running like this!! I’m embarrassed for y’all.Found a better WRX in Riverside County a week and a half later for 18k that was newer, more features, pristine condition, squeaky clean carfax ready in hand in addition to their own internal multi pt service inspection, premium sports package, and upgraded sound system, spoiler, tech, and tints. And oh yea coincidentally in EXACTLY the specific color I wanted to start with! Wild lol

There wasnt any sales pressure in purchasing our Outback Touring XT, an important factor in our decision as we disapprove of high pressure sales tactics. We purchased a new 2024 Outback Wilderness Edition from Sierra in Monrovia and had a great experience there. The negotiations were minimal and we didnt feel pressured or manipulated. The overall approach was friendly and it didnt feel like a typical car buying experience. The second delivery of the vehicle where the dealership walks you back through the entire car and features was really helpful as we had a chance to learn enough about the vehicle to get questions together and ask those...really helpful. Our sales consultant was top notch and the process was very comfortable. We are really enjoying the vehicle and absolutely recommend Sierra Subaru of Monrovia.

This review is for the service department, I have no experience with parts or sales so can’t speak to that.TL;DR – service department refused to honor my bumper-to-bumper warranty and tried to charge me $2.5k for a repair. Advised me to contact Subaru of America but would not respond to either them or me in the month that followed to get this resolved. I went to another dealer who confirmed the part is covered and ordered the replacement immediately at no cost to me.About a month ago, the head unit on my ’18 Outback completely failed. The touch screen was unresponsive and was experiencing ‘ghost presses’ where it would change radio stations or make phone calls completely on its own. I saw online that there was a lawsuit about this part failing resulting in Subaru issuing a 5-year extended warranty for the head unit. Unfortunately, I was a couple months outside this window, but I purchased the New Gold Plus 10-year bumper-to-bumper warranty with the car so figured I would be fine.I recently moved to the area so found this dealership and brought the car in on 6/19/23. The service advisor looked over the car and said that the part couldn’t be fixed and had to be replaced for $2500. I mentioned the New Gold Plus warranty and was told it was not covered, despite extensive paperwork that I had from when I purchased the car and information on Subaru of America’s website listing that that part was covered by the warranty. The service manager told me the only option was to open a case with Subaru of America, which I did that same day.In the month since then, Subaru of America has not been able to get any response from the dealer. They said they require a diagnosis of the problem to proceed, and the dealership was completely unresponsive. They did not respond to phone calls or emails from Subaru of America. I tried to call myself, but the service manager gave me a card with a phone number that is not in service and calling through the main line usually ended in getting hung up on or leaving a message that went nowhere. I was able to get a hold of the service manager once. He said he would respond, but according to SOA, he never did.Today, I drove an hour and a half to the dealer I originally bought the car from in hopes that they would at least respond to allow my SOA case to proceed. They told me the part was of course covered under my warranty and would cost $0 - ordered it on the spot.I’m not sure what their angle is – they make no money off the warranty repairs so wanted to charge me $2.5k to get a piece? Either way they wasted over a month of my time in refusing to honor the warranty I paid for. Needless to say, I will be making the drive to the other dealer from now on.

My wife bought a brand new outback. At 15k miles the car has misfire issuesand at 20k the same problem came back. The car is currently at their service department for few days already. They did not even offer my wife a loaner vehicle. We couldnt even reach the service guy. They always tell us theyll call back but never did. *Shady, Unreliable, and Dishonest**We contacted Sierra Subaru of Monrovia because we were interested in one of their cars. We made an offer, they accepted and we moved forward with the financing. Their service manager Andrew was completely incompetent and unable to return a phone call or close the deal on the car. I took multiple hits on my credit, sent them all my paperwork and they started to become shady about the car, coming up with excuses about the DMV and Financing although I have stellar credit and secured a loan through my bank. This is by far one of the most dishonest dealerships my family has ever dealt with and I DON’T RECOMMEND doing business with them! I have texts, emails, voicemails, etc about how we closed the deal but they never sent the paperwork and then all of a sudden stopped returning our calls. We finally found out from the online service manager that they sold the car to someone else after we had already secured financing and verbally agreed on a price. Completely incapable of selling a car. Some of the most corrupt, double-dealing, fraudulent people we have ever dealt with. Walk away if you can! Don’t work with these people!

Not sure why anybody has good reviews for this dealer. I attempted to buy a new 2024 Crosstrek from salesperson Joshua Villena. Honestly Joshua is a great salesperson, he was very informed of the vehicle and answered all our questions. The problem came when discussing price with sales manager ANDREW. Dont let this dealer strong arm you. Dont believe them when they say there is a car shortage and that mark ups or dealer add ons are necessary. There is no longer a car shortage. This dealer tried adding about 19% ($5,700) of the cars value in dealer add-ons. They budged down to about $10% of dealer add ons which is still about $3,100 over MSRP. Realizing that this dealer was just trying to make a hefty profit off of us, we walked away and found out the next day that McKenna Subaru of Huntington Beach offered the same exact vehicle at MSRP with no markups or dealer add ons. I must say we are happy with our new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek from McKenna of Huntington Beach. They even offer a year parking pass at Huntington Beach and free unlimited car washes on new vehicles purchased. Anybody who pays mark ups or dealer add ons are simply uninformed of the current car market. And any fees over MSRP is simply funding the salesperson and sales managers next vacation. My sister and I went car shopping in June 25th 2023 and we were told by the first salesman that we met that we have to pay $5,000 above MSRP and then the finance person told us that yes thats true, but if you have a Costco card its only $2,500 above plus they said we dont just charge you $5000 like all the other dealers, but you also get advanced security features that are not from Subaru but authorized by Subaru to install in their cars, but Subarus come standard with advanced security features and Subarus have a very low steal rate as the parts are not as easy to resell so that is why the insurance cost is lower on Subys. This pocket profit also goes against Subarus customer service standards. Stay away from this place. I had purchased 4 Subarus from them before the pandemic but never again.

Terrible service experience, go somewhere else to save the headache and trouble! Brought in my 2020 WRX for an oil change and diagnosis on a clunking noise when I fully turn. Test drove with the technician to find it to be the passenger side top hat that needed to be replaced under warranty. I was told the part is in stock and is a same day job, but being it was the end of the day Thursday the car would be ready Friday by the afternoon. I was out of town for the weekend so I told them I can pick it up on Tuesday. Service manager said no problem. Tuesday comes around, and I call around 10am since I haven’t received an update since dropping off the car. Car was not worked on, and they said it should be done by the end of the day. No update, I knew they closed at 6pm so I called at 5:50pm and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Left a voicemail and finally got a call back at 6pm. Car is still not ready, and I have to come in for a loaner… would have been understandable if they communicated at all. I shouldn’t have to call in multiple times to figure out what is happening to my car.

I purchased my Crosstrek two years ago and come in to Service for maintenance.In the past, with other dealerships Id leave confused, with a large bill, over long waits with a side of extra bad service.Since coming to Sierra Subaru all of my past anguish has been eliminated. I found my car online and decided to go test drive it after work. Cynthia was my salesperson. She was extremely knowledgeable of all of the cars features. After taking it on the freeway, I was eager to see if I could make the deal. After five days of research and deliberation, I decided to pull the trigger an hour before closing time. Both Cynthia and Rudy worked with me to give me a great price with a great rate. Watch out for this place. Sales men and finance team are not held accountable for what they promise. I would not recommend the service department either. WITH an appointment they want you to be prepared to wait 4 hours for the recommended 30k mile service. Which only includes oil change, air filter, tire rotation, and brake fluid flush. With an appointment I have to block out 4 hours of my day for that? Yea we paid upfront for recommended service plan, because sales man and finance man says the 30k service cost over 700 alone. Then service writer recommends we do two other services totally 500? But that is not included. Sad thing is the service writer told my wife this same thing happened to him last week on another car. All my loyalty for this business went out the window.

Best place to get Subaru, hands down. Everywhere elses deals were NOTHING compared to what Subaru of Monrovia offered... Im talking $70+ difference in monthly lease prices!! Worked with Hunter Dahlin in October of 2022 when buying a crosstrek for my son. Hunter was amazing to work with. He goes above and beyond. His love of cars is apparent and he is very knowledgeable. Just leased my Subaru from this dealership. We live in the San Fernando Valley, but we drove to Monrovia because they had the color I wanted and gave me a great deal!I dealt with Leo Molina who was honest, reliable, and efficient. I had negotiated the terms and amounts over the phone, and when I came in, there were no surprises. They kept their word, no negotiating, no sales pitch. All consumers - please beware of the unprofessional and dishonest business practices at Sierra Subaru of Monrovia. The service department here performed unauthorized repairs on my vehicle. Sierra Subaru even claimed I verbally approved the repairs, which is absolutely not true. I have numerous emails to Sierra Subaru of Monrovia that clearly stated that I had not authorized work and that I would be the one to give formal approval to authorize work.Despite these emails, Sierra Subaru of Monrovia did not tell me that repairs were ongoing or had been completed. Sierra Subaru of Monrovia had many opportunities to keep me appraised of the situation. Instead, they were unresponsive or avoided directly answering my questions on the status of my car. Sierra Subaru kept me in the dark as it proceeded to order a part and repair my vehicle without my permission.The repairs were over $2,000 and the only reason why I even learned that the repairs had taken place was because they had to contact me about a second repair needed (that was over $2,400 MORE than their initial estimate because they mistakenly identified and ordered the wrong part).After this entire debacle, Sierra Subaru offered no remedy or assistance to try to resolve the issue. I was left with no choice but to pay for the unauthorized repairs to get my car back.Because of the other repair that was needed, my car was still not fixed and I had to tow my car out. Please take this warning seriously. I hope others can learn from my mistake and avoid doing business with such a deceptive company.
