Tom Redd is the best! I always do business with Sierra Honda because of their excellent customer service but Tom far exceeded my expectations. He communicated with me well and often before I came in, sending me videos and photos so I could choose my car before I came in. He was honest, fair and fast. Tom took really good care of me. I am completely satisfied with this Honda dealership . I’ve been to plenty of Honda dealerships and this is by far the best one . Right when I came I was approached immediately by Anthony who was very friendly. Anthony made me feel welcomed and offered my wife and I some water since it was a hot day. He took his time to explain the differences between the cars I was interested in. Never did I once feel pressured at any moment to buy a car immediately unlike other dealerships. I told Anthony I will come back tomorrow and he respected my decision. After talking to my wife I came back the next day and ended up buying a car with the help of Anthony. If anyone is in the area of Monrovia and looking for a car I highly suggest they check this store out. Anyone will help you but from my experience I will ask for Anthony !

The people here are great. It’s the typical back n forth that you’d experience at any dealership, but you can’t escape that really. Other than that though, my salesman, Jose Chichipa, was genuinely nice and fun and seriously helpful. I ended up selling my trade third party (not to the dealership) and he gave me all sorts of advice, answered all my questions about third party sales, and even printed out all the paper work I was going to need… that is definitely above and beyond! Big shout out to Tom Reddman too for being so helpful and making sure I was happy with the car I was getting. Definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

For the care sales department: Bad service. If I can rate no star, I will.Even though it is just business, I was shocked about how rude they can be. We went with our child. During test driving, they dont allow car seat. So I have to wait with my child when my husband is testing driving. It was hot that day. The manager just left us outside and went inside by himself for his business. After that, when we were discussing the price of the car with the manager in the room, the manager invited another employee came in. Then the other employee just kept reminding us how upset his other costumer is and he wanted his costumer to come in the room to sign her contract. He tried hard to kick us out by standing next to us in the room. The manager allowed him to be in the room to complain while we were still in the conversation. The manager as well reminded us that they needed to use the room to serve the other customer. I could see and hear the impatience. So I thanked them and stepped out.Actually, I am grateful to see these. So I can skip this store in the future and dont need to waste my time here. We found there are not too many cars available for sale in most other stores with better service in this season. But here, the cars are arranged so crowded and even hard to pull them out. I believe it is reasonable if they dont sell well.We have not yet went deep for the price discussion here. However, our friend recommends the West Covina vendor for they are more honest on price.I dont recommend buying car here. I will never come back.

He helped me out of a bad situation and really saved the day!Brought my Civic in last week and was faced with what could have been a very costly repair. I contacted Honda, explained my dilemma and asked for assistance. Billy immediately followed up with them and expedited my request! I excitedly purchased the new vehicle at Honda, however, after a few months of ownership, I began to notice an unsettling cracking sound coming from the rear of the vehicle when I applied brakes while turning the steering wheel. Concerned about this issue, I promptly brought the Sierra Honda Auto Repair facility twice to seek a resolution. Despite the efforts made by your technicians during the first and second visits, the problem persisted.To my dismay, the cracking sound resurfaced shortly after each attempted repair. Despite my persistence and patience, the issue has not been adequately addressed. Regrettably, during my third visit to the Auto Repair center again, I was informed that the car was normal while the cracking sound still exist and the matter could not be resolved to my satisfaction. Who will be happy to drive a new car with some kind of noise sound exists??? I hope Honda can take swift action to address my concerns.

Just purchased my new passport and traded in my old car all on my own today. With that being said, I had such a amazing, worry free, and outstanding experience. Looking for a reliable car is sometimes hard to find and having to search and go at it alone can also be very intimidating. So with that being said, Ive avoided buying a new car for a long time. But so glad I was proven wrong today. I decided to go to Sierra Honda and happy that I did. Right away I felt very comfortable. Their facility was super clean and I was greeted by every friendly employee. Shout out to Saatara for helping me out. He was very patient, super knowledgeable, explaining everything in detail. When it was a done deal the entire paperwork process was so quick and easy I couldnt believe how fast it was. They had high tech devices to do the paperwork on which was cool to see and made the process go a lot smoothly and easy to understand. When my Ford Fusion Hybrid needed to be replaced my husband and I decided to look at Sierra Honda because he has been going there for maintenance for years and loves it.Wed done our research and came with printouts of exactly what car and options we wanted, the manufacturing price vs. MSRP, and a list of dealers in town that had that car.When we walked onto the lot Prosper Umudu greeted us and was friendly and open and never did a hard sell. (I HATE hard sells and was ready to walk away to another dealer if wed gotten one.)Prosper was courteous and friendly.We saw the car we wanted but it had extra options added at the dealership and cost more than we wanted. So we were planning on going elsewhere but asked if we could still test drive it. He said, Yes, of course! and went to get the keys. After the drive, Prosper asked us to repeat exactly what it was we were looking for - and because he listened well, was friendly, helpful and open we ended up purchasing with him.We drove off the lot with the new car and the whole process took about four hours from the moment we walked onto the lot and drove off the lot with our brand new car.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be assisted by Eddie Haro when buying a new CR-V. He was friendly, not at all pushy, he has a nice chill vibe about him, and his knowledge of Honda cars is off the chart! There was not one question he couldnt answer for us.The day after I bought my new CR-V, I was at home and I couldnt get the doors to auto-unlock like I wanted. So I texted Eddie, he quickly researched the issue, then he texted me a video back showing me how to go into Settings and fix the issue.Amazing customer service!I had such a positive experience at Sierra Honda of Monrovia, and Eddie Haro was the biggest reason why!5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

It’s THE BEST dealership PERIOD.I’ve never felt more comfortable and confident when approaching a sales representative for questions, or concerns. The only thing they pressured me for was a complimentary cup of coffee!While my Sales Representative was walking me along the process, GM Nick Dubiel was attentive and even stopped by multiple times to ensure all was well.While i didn’t end up selecting a car today. Weve been looking for an Odyssey for quiet some time and we finally found one at Sierra Honda at a great price! When we arrived at Sierra Honda, we were greeted by TINA (sales). This review is to WARN about the Price Lies.I recently went there and got recommendation to fix some problems from one of the service advisor, Billy Tam. I emailed for part availability and the final quote. He double the price that he originally gave it to me. When I pointed out the price differences he said he was confused and actually the service wasnt really necessary. Soon, I realized he’s a liar so told him I can’t get the service from him any more. He just hung up the call without saying anything. He misrepresented the price intentionally also very unprofessional. Be Careful with this dealership especially advisor, Billy Tam.

After weeks of shopping around, talking to different dealers and going back and forth with negotiations, I was beginning to think that I wouldnt find the price I wanted for the vehicle I was interested in. However, I was lucky to have spoken to and met Thomas (Tom) Redd at Sierra Honda of Monrovia because he made my experience extremely easy and pain free while also finding me a price that blew the competitions offers away (by a long shot at that). He was very professional, a straight shooter, and super helpful. Tom already knew what I went through and was very enthusiastic about making sure I got the best deal. We skipped the classic back and forth/let me ask my supervisor and got straight into the meat of it. Im happy with my new Ridgeline and can sleep soundly knowing that I got the best deal for it! I recently had an oopies on a self maintenance brake job. The outcome was missing 1 of 2 critical bolt holding the brake bracket in place. So parts was ordered over the phone with expectation of 2 days to get in. I went to try to buy a new car. The sales rep didn’t open the car for me to see it, didn’t take me on a test drive. They took me straight inside to fill out the credit application before anything! I have a trade in car in good condition. The rep looked through everything in my car, taking pictures and took off with my car without telling me what he was doing or where he was taking my car. The whole time, I’m just sitting there, waiting, not knowing what is going on! I got fed up & asked for my car keys. WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS! Be careful for this dealer, they just wanna mislead you to sell the care plan. Dont buy any recommended service from them.They promised the additional Honda Care wont be started until the Honda factory warranty expires. When he saw I was still hesitation, he said we can cancel the Honda care anytime, and Honda will fully refund to us, no charge. But in the contract it doesnt show Effective Date, just 8 years/100,000 miles.But when I received the Honda care contract last week, the truth is Honda Care started from the data we bought the car. That means Honda Care we bought overlaps the Honda Factory warranty. Why should we buy additional Honda care since Honda factory warranty already covers 3Year/36,000 miles bumper to bumper? It makes no any sense for us.And when I wanna cancel it, they said another different story: only fully refund in 30 days, after that they cannot. Just took my company vehicle for service - oil change, tire rotation, tire balance. I mentioned the rear passenger tire has a leak, roughly 10lbs per day and asked they inspect it. Got the car back after paying $303.00 and headed to Reno. The next day my tire goes low on air - the same tire, rear passenger. They obviously did not do the tire rotation. What else didnt they do? After returning from Reno I took my car to Mountain View Tire Service and they found a nail in the tire, patched it. All is well. If Sierra Honda did a tire balance, rotation the mechanic should have seen the nail, especially after asking they check that specific tire. I wont go back. Its their loss as I will have service done on the company vehicle every 7500 miles.I wish I would have marked the oil filter so I could see if they actually changed it or pulled the same stunt they did with the tire service.

Increasing car payments after requesting you sign new contracts because their printer is messed up. If the printer is an issue Im sure a replacement would fix it. Do yourself a favor and dont bother. I understand there is a new owner for both the Sierra Honda and Sierra Chevrolet but Ive bought 3 cars with the Chevy dealership next door and never had this kind of issue with their finance department. Even if Im able to get this resolved Im reporting this issue to whoever governs CA car dealerships (FTC, California Department of Consumer Affairs, DMV divisions of investigations) as this is a major problem to have (which other reviews had noted) internally. Loved the car but not worth the trouble.

Do Not Go To Sierra Honda for service! Absolute worst customer service ever. Actually, I take that back, cant deliver service when they Dont have the time to do it.When I called them, the operator kept sending me to Book keeping. It took me 4 times, to finally get ADAM, a service advisor to pick up the call. I explained that I have 2 tires with nails and one of them is depleting rapidly, therefore request for an appointment. He set an appointment for me for Friday (today is Tuesday) . I also told him that I have tire insurance that may cover the costs, and can provide the contract number. I advise that perhaps he should call to verify, that way, since I am driving under hazardous conditions, if I am incorrect, I could save both of us time and waiting, and I can just pay for my tires today at a local store. After couple of IMO, reasoning, ADAM finally pushed back, and told me, HE DOESNT HAVE TIME TO VERIFY MY COVERAGE. Understand.Dear Managers of Sierra Honda, as a veteran in customer service, your staff needs a hard retraining. Times have changed. Secret Shoppers are days of the past, and your staff needs to be clued in social media, online reviews are growing and here to stay. What I experienced and told by Adam, from the service department, was appalling. I took my Honda Fit here for an oil change, and was not impressed with the service overall.Pros:- staff was courteous- there is an outdoor waiting areaCons:- I had an appointment but was told that the wait was 2.5-3 hours. I opted to wait in person and the actual amount of time this took was closer to 5. I was the only one waiting in person, and no one thought to update me on progress until I asked.- the oil life was not reset- the tire pressure light kept coming back on until I adjusted my own tire pressure and then it was fine.- It turns out that they didnt put the screws back in on the front of my under engine cover, so it scraped on the ground intermittently on the 700 mile trip I took 2 weeks later and I didnt realize it until I got home.- There is a more expensive repair that my car needs, and that is not their fault, but it would be nice if the smaller things are done right so my day isnt completely terrible when I leave.I would not trust them with my car again.Update: I did reach out to Sierra Honda, and they looked at my engine cover. They decided that it was not their fault because they found evidence of outside influence. That influence was the damage caused by the shield dragging on the road.They are unwilling to stand by their work or fix their mistakes.Another Update: I wrote letters to both Sierra Honda and Honda Corporate, and they did contact me and want to fix it. They did, free of charge, and the work seems fine so far. So they do get credit for making it right, and I have adjusted my rating up a couple of stars. Thank you.

When I asked about progress, I got the answer “We are still working”. I can see my car parked on the same spot since beginning and no one working (They lie and have predefined answer for progress) . They are very slow and don’t provide updates on there own. You need to go to them multiple time and hear same answer every time.I asked again 2:30 PM and they have no idea on the progress. Finally I asked them to return my car key so that I can go other service center for servicing then they started working on it and committed to expedite it.I understand, it might be the busy day and it’s was expected to take that long but I have issue with there false commitments and lie that “We are still actively working on it “Worst service experience. Keith gave great customer service. On the other hand was basically FORCED to pay $1700 for security system that ALREADY came with the vehicle by the money hungry administrative staff. They have remote access of the security system & would not turn it on unless it was paid for.In my opinion this is Shiesty franchise who tries to get every dollar in each aspect of the vehicle purchases(warranties,security system etc.) will not be returning ever again, way to lose retention on a customer because you chose money over providing valuable customer service. 👏👏👏

Just purchased a 2017 Accord Touring. I absolutely Love it. I actually went in to look at and test drive an Accord Sport SE. Johnny, the salesman who helped me out was the best. I was not prepared to purchase a vehicle right then and I told him so but Johnny was very helpful anyway. I told him Id be back with my wife later but Im sure hes heard that before with no results. Well I did go back but the Accord Touring caught my eye. After looking at the sticker price I walked away and was willing to talk about a deal for the Sport SE but I couldnt get the Touring out of my mind. The deal for the Sport SE was getting close to my making a decision when I said what can we do with the Touring. Bingo the final out the door price for the Touring was great couldnt pass it up. Thanks to Johnny and his Manager they were able to put me in the car I really wanted. Nora in finance was just as pleasant to deal with. She was able to do the paperwork very quickly and easily. She was also able to convince me to purchase an extended service contract which I had declined earlier. She made sense. All in all it was an excellent experience with no pressure to buy. I will be back!!!

I just bought a new car here, and the experience was amazing. I called a bunch of dealers to get quotes by phone... some dealers try to sweat you when you ask for a quote by phone or refuse to give you an out the door price. The guys here gave me an out the door price quickly and without hassle, and after shopping around, Sierra was by far the best price.Saatara was the dealer I dealt with and he was very responsive and courteous.I also asked for a rare and unique color/spec combo, and the folks here worked hard to track down the car at another dealer and have it sent over. They kept me informed throughout the process, and tracked the combo down even though other dealers said Id have to get that custom ordered.Once all was set by phone, coming in to the dealer to seal the deal was really smooth. We came shortly before closing, and they stayed in late to help finalize all the paperwork and patiently answer all the questions that a typical new car buyer had. I kept waiting for some moment when theyd try to tack on some extra charges or fees besides the out the door price they quoted, but thankfully they didnt do any of that.These guys are great!

In the aspect of being a first time car buyer for a used car they can be really pushy. They tried to finance me to at least 3 different banks when I simply said that this isnt the one for me. Not used car buyer friendly. Passive aggressive is not called helping. Especially when they change theyre mind with the numbers as youre walking out the door with a better deal.

I’ve gone back and forth about writing this review. But..I think people should know what to expect.I was a stranded motorist, traveling through Southern Calif, knowing no one to turn to for help, within a 400-mi radius. I had my vehicle towed to their business. It was 4:00PM on Tuesday. I was told they couldn’t get to it until the next day; and it would cost $190 dollars to diagnose the problem.The service rep, Kevin, was extremely helpful; helped me find a local, modest motel; even provided transportation to the motel for me. The next day, Wednesday, he called and informed me the starter (a simple starter) had gone out and needed replacement. He also recommended replacing the battery cables as they were lose; that should I authorize the repairs, the vehicle wouldn’t be ready until some time on Friday. Frankly, I was shocked at the time frame..Wednesday until Friday to replace a simple starter; shocked at $1,500.35..plus tax..for a starter! And upon requesting a list of what work they intended to do..realized this charge was not for a brand new starter, but a Honda rebuild starter..in other words..used!I was able to locate a shop that was able to secure a brand new starter, manufactured by the company that builds parts for Honda; get the vehicle towed over there and repairs done by Thursday afternoon. And the cost..$700 dollars, which included the tow!I believe in capitalism, but this dealership took advantage of a stranded traveler; pretty much said take it or leave it!If I lived in the area, I would avoid this place like the plague! I did give them two stars because of the Service Rep Kevin. He went over and above in helping me.

I had an excellent experience here. Customer service was on point everyone was so friendly and helpful. They had a complimentary coffee bar and popcorn. I spoke with Raul about my new Honda Accord Sport I really wanted. I was super specific as to what car I wanted and the price I wanted to pay and thats exactly what he did for me. We got our white Honda CR-V EX from Sierra Honda 2 days ago on 12/15/15 and we love our experience there. We were amazed by the large selection of cars Sierra has.Jason Fang was the one helping us out that day. We found him during our initial research process and spoke to him on the phone the day before we walk in to the lot. Jason was very professional on the phone and willing to help. He actually came WAY EARLIER than his normal work hour on the day of, to ensure we are getting the best, prompt service. We had an idea of what specs we wanted. The car we want was still in transit that morning, but he was able to get our car ready in less than an hour to the lot. Not only that he can get us a very good price; he was also very caring and patient. He explained in detail to my not so tech savvy mother of all the useful electric gadgets that come with the car and even helped her set up Bluetooth connection to her cell phone. He speaks fluent Chinese and English. We couldn’t be happier to have our new car for the holiday, all thanks to Jason!

I purchased a new vehicle here in June 2021. I had been in communication with several dealerships & David Kirby was one of only 2 who responded to me regularly & respectfully. Now I understand that sales/service people are dealing with more than just one customer/issue at a time, so Im not trying to say he got back to me immediately as some people might demand. But he would get back to me in a VERY timely manner which, like I mentioned, every other dealership didnt do even though they said they would. And if I had a question, hed answer it. No beating around the bush, no when you schedule a test drive I can answer your questions. And most importantly, he was the only one to work with me on a price that worked for both of us. He made my shopping experience so stress free & pleasant.Unfortunately, David was unable to be at the dealership when I was there, but Mehrdad Saatara was. He went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. He was friendly & hospitable in ensuring we didnt feel ignored. We saw a vehicle that we were interested in online, so we went for a test drive. Frank G. was great! We didnt plan on buying the car right then and there, but Frank was honest and upfront about everything, so we filled out all the paperwork and took home an 07 Civic. Reviewed several offers from lots of dealers thru consumer reports and their True cost reports online. Sierra Honda prices looked better. msrp and dealer markups were stated on True price. Dealers can have accessories already added that don’t show in true price. These accessory prices are negotiable at some dealers.Spoke to Tina Tabrizi on phone, salesperson They also had a car that was not black interior or exterior. She was pleasant and not pushy. Went to dealership to confirm deal.Was able to get some price adjustment on dealer accessories with Sataara, a manager, at the dealership. No making me wait around for him to decide, and he was pleasant and helpful. (Unlike Honda Downey this year, and several dealers in years past, who were so bad i needed to walk out on them.)

Call Sierra Honda to check on a price for a car. Was informed the car was posted by mistake. This is a sort of thing that happens with car dealerships all too often. To top things off when I called back to complain the sales manager I was speaking to actually ended up hanging up on me. Basically the only opinion one can come away with is all sales people working for car dealerships or sock puppets.

The worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. The new management is awful. I received a call from a manager named Armando Valdez threatening me to ruin my credit and repo my car because I didnt have time to stop by to fill out paperwork that they messed up on. Whats worse he called and raised his voice at my elderly mother because I hadnt come in yet. MIND YOU, my mother had nothing to do with my purchase. He someone got a hold of her number to harass her.

I like Sierra Honda. I purchased two vehicles from them. I still have my first Honda. It is a 2007 Honda Accord Coupe. I still have my 2017 Honda CRV.I like my service writer, Kevin Eng. He is friendly, courteous and knowledgable. Kevin explains everything to you in simple terms so you can understand. If you have issues with your vehicle, while it is there for service, he will call or find you ASAP to tell you about it.Kevin arranged for a Lyft ride back home and pick up back to the dealership.If you have to wait for your vehicle, they have a pretty decent waiting area.I have been going to Sierra for about 17 years now.
