A great hole in the wall game store in the La Habra area. Lots of board games, trading card games, and a good staff. They also have back rooms as well for playing whatever you’re into,

I recently visited Shuffle & Cut for Magic: The Gathering products and left feeling quite disheartened by the service even after spending over $300 on sealed product. The store employee seemed uninterested in helping us out. Rather than welcoming questions, they appeared rushed and annoyed, especially when I inquired about ordering specific cards. This dismissive attitude made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued patron.The lack of friendly customer service and the sense of being hurried out the door greatly diminished my shopping experience. A game store should be a hub for community and enthusiasm, but unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and considers the importance of courteous and engaging customer interactions in the future.

I have visited Shuffle & Cut reason being want to try a different card shop that are local, and so I took a gamble to visit the place end up being worth my time. They end up having Ancient Gear Frame, and the Ghost Rare from LED7. Even though I never play board games aside from Monopoly, been helped by Zach with the cards I would need for Ancient Gear deck, & Winged Dragon of Ra deck. After that interaction am likely to shop here again.

These guys were awesome they took 2 hours of their time to really help me search for yugioh cards to build my deck against my little cousin, because I threw all mine away when I was younger! They had mostly everything I was looking for I will be back thank you guys again! Also picked up a sealed cute Charmander for my fiancé.

Great place to catch a game of magic. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Both the staff and the other players are very helpful and nice. Overall, there is a great tcg and tabletop gaming community going on here. The store is very well stocked and has pretty much everything you can imagine. Friday night magic never felt better!

This shop has a solid selection for sealed MTG TGC, and lots and lots of singles. They also have a very wide selection of board games and gaming accessories. Very fair pricing too! And knowledgeable, helpful, and kind staff! Great shop! Will return for my cardboard crack.

Stopped in to check out the Pokemon singles and they had some heat! I wasnt able to pick anything up today out of fear of divorce if I had gotten what I wanted, but prices are reasonable and cards are bangers. Definitely would like to do business in the future.

Went in and was immediately welcomed and was asked if I needed help. Everyone there was 100% respectful and the place is clean and organized. Prices are great nothing looks used or opened like other shops. I’m very happy we found this place was a bit hard to see but it’s a hidden gem. I found this hidden gem and boy it was a gold mine. Walked in there with 41 cards left to complete my sons Pokémon set. He had so many cards that we needed we walked out with 11 left to complete my sons set. If I could give this store 10 stars I would!

Its an alright spot. They have games and a room they charge for using the space to play. Think it was $20 for a month or a purchase of some amount. Parking seems ok. If youre looking for one piece cards they had series 3 on my visit yesterday. No pre-orders can be made. They dont have one piece singles. Its a fairly small store but decent. Didnt see how big or small the game room was.

Nice store, the people are nice. Great place to draft, play commander, and other board games. The only issue I have is the prize pay out for the constructed event, winning one round is not enough you have to win at least two which makes me feel bad and doesnt really encourage me to play again next time if one win gives me nothing. Overall still an ok place to hang out with a wide selection of board games. Worth visiting.

Went into the store today to pick up magic the gathering singles and was very impressed. They had all of the cards I wanted on my list. They were very efficient- they had a computer system to check what they had, and how many- were able to immediately tell me price, and then they collected all the cards and gave them to me in a short amount of time as well. They were great about double checking everything with me as well. Prices were reasonable on the cards, and the staff was very knowledgeable as I was asking for suggestions or substitutions I needed. They were very friendly and welcoming. The atore is clean, and well organized- they have a variety of sleeve options, and other magic accessories you would want. (They also have a ton of other games I never even looked at- as I was there specifically for magic.) The store has clean bathrooms as well. In the back, they have a large room for game play. Overall, I was very impressed by Shuffle and Cut and would highly recommend to anyone remotely in the area.

Shuffle & Cut is a great place to come and play Friday Night Magic -- its one of the few shops with adequate air conditioning and the start times are reasonable for people who have day jobs. The play space is large and spread out so it never feels too stuffy or crowded.The Limited drafting community is super welcoming to new players and happy to teach them. (Its also the best way to learn and play Magic in my opinion.) Prizing is very generous with store credit being usable toward future events and every participant receiving at least a promotional card.The store also has an impressive selection of board games and D&D miniatures.

Ive been to many and mean many game stores that sell pokemon cards by the individual and by far this place has the best customer service and a lot of cards to choose from at a good price. They also have board games a lot of them so Im sure youll find what you need. I go for the pokemkn cards but they have magic and yugioh and others I believe. Again I only asked for the Pokémon ones. Have been going here for a few months after getting back into pokemon cards with my kids. I have spent thousands here because of the convenience of them being down the street even though they are priced higher than others. This is a good store. If youre into hobby and tabletop gaming, this is a really good local spot.Parking is a little tight in this shopping center, so keep that in mind if going during prime business ours.The space has some moderately private gaming rooms. The selection of board games is VERY good. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Helpful staff and a large selection of many items. I go here for Pokémon. Therefore, the selection can be limited at times due to the recent demand. However, the prices are reasonable and in line with market value. This is definitely my go to when Im itching for some fresh packs and dont want to wait to get my packs shipped from other sources. Also, they have card savers for grading submissions available by the case of 200 for a very reasonable price. Definitely check this place out if you havent!

My husband and I discovered this store recently after getting back into Pokémon. And we absolutely loved it until meeting the associate named Zack. We were buying multiple cards and asked if they would take less as card prices tend to be a bit flexible. Basically $1 less then what was aked. He immediately became rude and snobby stating that, if we didnt want to buy it at the price someone else would. We told him there was no reason to be rude and he responded with streamers come in all the time and buy all the cards without a second thought. Felt like he was implying that our business isnt need. Needless to say we left with less then what we were going to buy. Not the wonderful experience we had become used to going here and dont know if we will go back after this. Which is a shame cause up until this encounter we loved the shop.

I came in a beginner mtg player and the staff was super helpful with helping me build a deck to use in standard play and also helped me find useful cards to add to the commander deck that I am building. Lately got into MTG and been to several LGS.Shuffle and Cut definitely is a premium shop with nice wide selection of single cards and accessories. I’ve shopped here for some singles in the past, and notice that price was slightly higher, but having mind set of supporting LGS, I didn’t mind much.Most recent visit got my attention that their PREMIUM price is going way above than my anticipation.That being said, last visit will be my last time to supporting this LGS for mtg singles.Interactions with staff, it may vary per your experience, so will leave it up to you.You go to premium shop, expect to pay premium price.

Never walked into a card shop and felt so not welcome. Was trying to get my buddies into magic still bought some packs from there but the two guys at the front desk were the most rudest and helpful people Ive ever seen working at a card shop will never go back there again ended up going to another shop and getting the things we needed so my buddies could start playing Commander its sad this store has a lots of merchandise and cool things but would never go back due to how the employees act.

I went today to purchase a few board games for my friends and I for game night. I just underwent surgery, so I showed up with crutches. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, definitely went the extra mile. They recommended me some great board games, helped me with getting all the games to my Lyft, and gave me a wonderful first impression of Shuffle & Cut.Inside, they have an amazing collection of everything from board games to cards. Everything was neatly organized and easy to find. I believe I saw an area in the back where people could play games. I wasn’t in a condition to explore but I’ll definitely be coming back!

My favorite place to buy & sell Yugioh cards. They also cater to Pokémon. I dont know much about Pokémon but it looks like they have a great variety of cards. They also have card accessories. Place was very clean and they have a large selectiom but their prices were outrageous. Everything price here was at least 25 to 40% above TCG player and higher then every store Ive ever went to. I will not a a customer of this place i refuse to support people who msrk up prices so high and try to screw people over. There are many shops with honest pricing and or always online. I recommend you dont come here unless your okay with paying way above market prices. Funny part was the guy try to tell me his prices are matched with online then I showed him TCG player prices for a few booster boxes I was interested in and he rudely tells me that I should go buy it from them then. As I said they lost a customer and by the reviews below, there loosing plenty of other customers.

The people who go their are friendly and would help you out if you need it with your deck. I went in with my wife and two kids today and this one guy kept following us around and asking if we need help every five to ten minutes literally. We have gone all over the place looking for a new store to shop at. As of recently we had just stopped by five other stores and even my wife said this one was the ONLY one that made her feel completely uncomfortable shopping. I still spent $200 at my visit today however if they had better customer service I would’ve spent more. My wife and I both agree this is the one shop we will not be returning to ever again.

Check TCGplayer.com first; I recently purchased single MTG magic cards at this location the gentleman at the front desk informed me that they are near the TCGplayer.com(website for selling trading card games) price and I jested that they beat it. I felt like I was in good hands. I was charged DOUBLE the price of a card that was found on TCGplayer.com. Not only that, TCGplayer.com had FOIL special editions available online that were cheaper than the cost of the single card I had purchased from this location.SO I was naturally upset and although indignant I decided to cut my loses; until I discovered that one of the cards had an imperfection. So not only did I pay double(60$) I got a card that was not near mint. I immediately went back and asked for a replacement. I was a terribly unsatisfied customer and I wanted this business to alleviate my frustration. They denied my request. Not only that the gentleman at the front asked if I needed help then when I asked him a question he told me he couldnt help me. VERY CONFUSING.Make sure you do research on individual cards before visiting. I used to love this location. I would frequent often and I love to support small business. BUT there is a BETTER location called CARD ADDICITON in Anaheim where the employees arent nearly as maleficent, deceptive or judgmental.All in all this location is just NOT worth the convenience of same day pick up. Instead JUST WAIT and order ONLINE or go to CARD ADDICITON in Anaheim.

Went to the 8:00 P.M. prerelease event for the next Magic the Gathering set. Was glad that they had plenty of time that I was able to make it when I had a busy weekend. Had a great turn out. I really enjoyed my time there. This is the place where I normally buy my singles also.

This is a great little game shop. They have the deepest selection of games of any shop Ive been to in Orange county. Its a bit hard to find as its tucked into the back of a business plaza of Lambert in Brea and there are no major cross streets. Just keep in a eye out for the blue sign with white letters. The prices are fair and as I mentioned the selection is second to none. The service is here good. Maybe too good. I once was asked if I was finding everything ok 3 times in the span of fifteen minutes, albeit by 3 different people. All in all. Great store!

This is a hidden gem of a board game and adventure gaming store! Its super-stocked with all types of games - you like Settlers of Catan? Do you have the Game of Thrones version? The Start Trek? Like Escape Room games? Theyve got all the expansion packs. Ticket to Ride? Europe, France/Wild West, Germany, India/Suiss, and add on expansion packs. They were friendly to me and my wife, as well as willing to share preferences in regards to board games. The environment is cozy, but there was a room in the back where they hosted games. Shuffle and Cut is an excellent store for finding new game, and expansions for the most popular games. Because of their size (and prevalence of internet sales), they cant keep a huge backlog of more obscure titles, but they do a good job of rotating in fresh choices and offering solid discounts on products that are being phased out of inventory. They host regular games in the back are of the shop, and the staff is generally friendly.I wouldnt recommend asking questions about the TCGs on offer, though. They can come across as pretty elitist if youre not up-to-date with the current sets, and seem very dismissive when you ask for info on upcoming league events. I had been considering coming in for some Sealed MtG play, but changed my mind when I couldnt get a straight answer from the employee on-hand about when Id be able to jump in for a game or two, instead I was given a short check the website, which in fact didnt help me figure out when or if Id be able to participate in Sealed play.All in all, pretty decent shop, Ill probably keep coming back for board games and their expansions, but as far as their TCG game nights are concerned, they dont seem all that interested in bringing in fresh faces, so Ill leave them to it.

Shuffle and cut is my number one shop for buying and selling MtG singles. They offer good buylist prices but most importantly, the NM cards I buy from them are always in tip top shape.This store has also expanded to have a huge board game selection, I have moved from buying things on Amazon to buying them here because I can always find what I like and its better to buy local.This store is super clean and organized and the staff is super professional and friendly.

Fishy business.I came in on Saturday and bought 3 packs of Double Masters MTG. Upon opening, the pack broke open. I thought it was weird. Second pack broke open again and in the same spot (right side 1/2” from seam) as the first. I have never had any sealed packs ever break open like this.I contacted my brother (who had the third pack) and he told me his broke open in the same spot.All three packs had nothing worth over $1.50 each in cards. Maybe we got unlucky. But either way, I’ve never had packs break open in all the years I’ve collected.

Huge selection of table top games but no 40K?! When I asked, the employee came off as snooty as if that game was beneath him. The worst kind of nerd, the “elitist nerd”. Warhammer 40K is the biggest tabletop game in the world, if you don’t have a spot for it you’re missing out. Better option is the Realm in Brea, they have just about everything (including comics) and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. This place isn’t going to last.

I called in earlier about a certain card. They had it in stock for 50 dollars in store. Was quoted this price over the phone by employee named Ian. I get the store, and some short chubby rude dude who completely ignored me as I walked in boosted the price up. First find only muchkin pathfinder, one shelf up are deluxe, and regular. (Should have asked bout difference. Didnt; owner/cashier seemed busy)Okay if friends like munchkin, I should have an extra Dnd Players Handbook on hand as a loaner. Go back to books pick out my favorite edition PHB, approach the cashiers desk.Both cashiers are busy, seem to be counting trade in value for a collectable card game. Wait a bit, no one else in store, Ill explore some more. Find calendar on wall, Tuesday Dnd, oh they have a backroom for playing, Thursday M the gathering.Okay how long are they going to take counting value? Walk up, queue like an American: off to the side so you can learn how trade is done, but at a respectful quiet distance. Cashier says, oh are you going to buy? I can take you over on this side. (Respectful) Cash transaction is fast and painless. Cashier says he likes the choices, two favorite games (Good I might want to come back to play in the backroom den)Ask about a product they dont have in stock, galeforce9 spellcards, (knew gf9 were selling off old stock cleaning market before releasing new decks) told they dont have an ETA on them; were supposed to be released last month (I thought they were holding off release for big dnd stream of annihilation last weekend. Gf9 talk to your stores better)Overall the experience was a good one, I should have accepted the staffs help. Still was an experience, and all interactions felt respectful.

POKÉMON FANS BEWARE! They sold me a resealed Alakazam Vbox with resealed vivid voltage packs smh. The box had 2 different types of glue to seal it which is first thing. Next thing is the boosters were extra loose like it was missing a card. Opened gently and saw glue residue, then they had no Holographic. Don’t buy here.
