Outstanding service from beginning to end. We were referred to Depak about four years ago. We had a complicated property that we needed to refinance. Depak listen to our situation, then gave us experienced sound advice, he really is an expert that knows his stuff and the inner workings of finance and loans. We followed the plan he recommended for the next few years. Once the remodeled was completed the property was Ready to refinance. Depak handled all the details and made it seamless and effortless to obtain our refinancing. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome and all interactions with Depak and Shining star funding I can’t say enough about them. Shining Star funding, and Akshay in particular, helped us navigate our first home purchase. How can I even express how glad I am to have found Akshay? He helped me get a difficult mortgage in an impossible market at an adverse time. He talked me through my fears--on multiple occasions-- about the daunting prospect of first-time home purchase. It was great working with Akshay and Rosie. If I had any concerns, they were just a call or email away. Due to my busy work schedule, I often contacted them after work, but they were still available. Ive now worked with Akshay Parti at Shining Star Funding, twice: once for a refinance and once for a normal home loan. On both occasions, the service was outstanding and the rates were extremely competitive. In todays competitive market, being able to close loans quickly is just as important as getting the lowest rate. Akshay and his team gave me the confidence to make a competitive offer with a short loan contingency, which allowed my wife and I to win our dream home (plus a seller credit for closing early!).Ive used a few different mortgage brokers over the years and I can say without a doubt that Akshay is the best.

We are first-time home buyers and we could not have asked for a better lending partner than Akshay Part from American Pacific Mortgage. We were introduced to the CalHFA Dream For All program by a friend (also a first-time home buyer) and connected us with Akshay as soon as we expressed interest. If youre familiar with the program, then you know how competitive it is in terms of its funding availability. It ultimately requires you to have a lending partner that is not only highly knowledgeable about the program (CalHFA approved/certified), honest about its pros/cons and if it is reasonable enough for you, but mostly, your lender has to be extremely swift and organized so that you at least have a fighting chance to get a piece of this amazing program. Akshay is all that and MORE. He really made us feel like we had a friend in the business and has made us feel comfortable with the whole CalHFA process. Hes readily available at what seems like ALL THE TIME because he is so prompt and responsive. Hes also a great resource even after now that our loan has moved to CalHFAs servicing company. We cant thank Akshay enough for his expertise, his calm presence, and his organization throughout this whole process.

I am not even sure where to begin!. We were ready to buy our very first house but we were not sure what we would qualify for and how the process would work (This was our first time). We tried to look at big banks but due to our unique business situation they were no help. After spending 8 gruesome hours on the internet, I found Akshay (THANK YOU GOOGLE!!). I am so glad that I spent that time to get to Akshay. I called him and he answered right away !! (Try that with other lenders and banks, you will know what I mean). He was very polite and super detailed about my finances. He is all about numbers (Trust me, that is what you want it to be). He requested some documents and within 48 hours, he got us a pre approval based on our documents. Initially we had our doubts (As suggested by our realtor) about using a non local lender but I must say that our realtor is super impressed with Akshay as well. Akshays entire team was extremely helpful and guided us every step of the process. We closed on our Forever home yesterday. None of this would have been possible without Akshays help. Depac and his team (Chance, Karen) helped me buy my first home. I spoke with a few different lenders while shopping for a mortgage. I was initially working with Americas Largest Mortgage Lender, but their false promises pushed me to look for other options. That is when I reached out to Depac. Just by speaking with him, I could already tell that he is the most knowledgeable and most experienced. I could sense his “classic” approach and that he can do manual calculation, instead of just entering numbers on a spreadsheet. Depac is honest and direct to the point. Everyone’s financial situation is different, and Depac presented all the options available to me. I ultimately decided to go with Depac because he gave me the best offer, I felt confident in his capabilities, and his Loan Estimate is the most accurate. I learned that only Sections A and B of the Loan Estimate are controlled by the lender; the rest are controlled by third party. Having an accurate Loan Estimate is important because if a lender under-estimates Sections C and E to H, you will be surprised to find out later that you will end up with a higher monthly payment and closing cost. Depac did his research beforehand by obtaining the actual numbers from the title company and countys tax record to provide an accurate Loan Estimate. I was also worried about the possible delay in the loan approval which could result in not meeting the tight deadlines and losing the house. Depac assured me that he can get it done, and he did. Depac and his team are very patient with me and they answered all my questions. They are very quick and efficient, and they gave me constant updates on the progress. They made the transaction go smoothly and they were able to complete the entire loan process in less than 3 weeks -- which is 1 week ahead of my target closing date. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome and they delivered everything they promised. Thank you Depac, Chance, and Karen!

Deepak is very proficient and thorough in his work, he helped me navigate through the maze of documents and handled my complex case efficiently since my monies were in US and outside US. Karen was always on top of things, always courties and prompt!We did land into a misunderstanding regrading how we want to close the loan which caused some headache, but Deepak mitigated the situation on time and ensured the loan closed on time.Overall, as a first time buyer the experience was edgy but the outcome satisfactory.
