Our stay was so wonderful! The hotel and rooms are beautiful and clean. The beds are SO comfortable!!! Perfect after a long day of wine tasting. The staff were very accommodating of our needs and anything that came up to make sure we had a great stay. Definitely recommend!

Amazing customer service and attention to detail. We stayed on the off season for wine Country and couldnt ask for a better stay. We were there for my Girlfriends birthday and received a complimentary champagne and fruit with a handwritten birthday card which was amazing. A special thanks to Andy, Deneb, and Danny for making our time special when we were there. Highly recommend to stay when in wine country.

The Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma is a beautiful hotel. I got a room with a lake view. It was so beautiful and refreshing in the morning when I woke up. The hotel parking lot is big and looks very safe to me. They have a good restaurant on site, or I found so many excellent restaurants within 15 minute drive.

So far everything on I wanted on the website has been discontinued. The TV menu reads room service AM. I called to order breakfast before meeting. It has been disconnectedSecond, on the website, FREE breakfast, NO free breakfast.Front desk is inconsistent. Operator at front desk does not answer in timely manner. Evening room service closed before hours posted. NOTHING but bad information posted. Would Nerver pay this price again for this service.

Bad experience here at the Sheraton Sonoma and Petaluma. It was mines and my finances wedding weekend. We tried to check in early because we did so on the app. We couldn’t get an early check in which was fine, however even when it was 3pm check in time they were still cleaning the room.we didn’t mind waiting. Then 1 hour passed and they still needed 15 minutes to clean, the guy in the front desk said it’s because of a special surprise they have. Once we got to check in we went to the room, which was still not very clean and there was no suprise making me beleive that they just said that so they can get extra cleaning time. Also, I had to call twice just to get some towels delivered to our room. After my wedding weekend, we were charged $100 on our card that was not the charge for the room. I was curious so I called but was told they would have to call me back in 2-5 business days, it’s a little weird that they don’t know what this charge is for?Well anyways I wouldn’t stay here again for the price it is not worth it imo.

Conveniently located near both highways. Has free charging stations for all guests. Restaurant & bar located downstairs; recommend croissant benedict. Fridge in room can be a little noisy; unplugged it. Has pool and fitness room. Get free bottled water at front desk. Has view and marina to Petaluma River.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel, from the moment I opened the door of my room I was happy …. Jerry from the front desk, it alll happend March 8 to march 9 2024 me and wife had a bad experienced here. My wife and me felt unwelcome when we check in here, after getting our id and info did not explain anything about the services, we think his conversation with her colleague is more important thatn there customer. We past by so many times that we fell like we are customer. That guy need more training about how customer service work. He need to discipline. Read all the comments and do some research first before coming here. There is 15 dollars parking fee.

This hotel would be my second choise to stay at but at the same time it is my most favorite. The property itself is a little older, still, the rooms are fairly modern. The amenities are great, free eCar charging, hot tub, sauna, fitness room are great and very clean. I love how its part of the marina even if maratime is not in youre vocabulary its still a nice feeling. They do do free breakfast sometimes but I decided to pass on it, the coffee machine was very cool. Also Heather at the front dest is awesome customer service is on point will be coming back more because of her.

We stayed here the night of our wedding and the night after. We visited 3 times before the night and expressed we will be staying there the night of our wedding. They said they have a special basket they put out for newlyweds and we were very much looking forward to that. We also negotiated price down with our AAA membership. They night of came and we were very disappointed. No basket, a dirty room, hair in the sink and tub and holes in the screens for the window. On the last day we wake up to a bill that does not reflect our AAA discount(about 300 higher than the negotiated rate). We expressed this as we were checking out and they were able to apply our AAA rate and offer an extra percentage off but in the end the total was still higher than what we had been quoted before. Very disappointed in our stay unfortunately.

We’ve stayed over a handful of times to this Sheraton over the last two years. Here is how I’ve personally noticed it’s decline.The property is dated. Few improvements if any have been made over the last decade and it’s wear is starting to show. Water damaged ceiling tiles, cut and pasted carpets, the a/c units are clunky and noisy, mostly little things, they just add up.We do maintain a titanium status, and have been given a complimentary breakfast in the lobby restaurant every other time we’ve stayed, however this past week nothing was mentioned about it. The staff did mention the club lounge would be open for breakfast. The only vegetarian hot option was potatoes. Some food service rehydrated scrambled eggs, and some very fatty sausage. Cereal, muffins and toast were also available. The breakfast offered here in the lounge is very basic. There was a latte machine as well as a juice machine, it just didn’t compare to the fresh squeezed stuff and some avocado toast in the lobby restaurant. So this was definitely a negative.The parking fee has increased from 10$ to 13$. They say they have to lease the lot, and pay for cleaning and security ect ect. The lot does seem very empty, and steps away you could be in the marina parking lot, and they don’t charge for parking. None of the other business in this development push their parking lot fees onto the consumer so I find it difficult to swallow, especially compounded with everything else.The pool and spa are very hit or miss. Only during one of our stays the hot tub was working and hot and useable. We’ve never used the pool, it’s cold and small, but it’s there.The staff are usually friendly and will help with any request, some more knowledgeable than others, to be expected, overall they are generally great. Only once we’ve had a small hiccup with a front desk employee however was handled appropriately at checkout.So overall. For 250$ it’s ok. Not good, not great. There are plenty of newer options here in Petaluma that would be better suited for a stay longer than two nights.

Before arriving at the hotel, we spoke with a reservationist who described the amenities as very pleasant and welcoming. Heated pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning, and nice clean rooms. However, what we received was not even close to Marriott standard. Check in was great, however went down hill fast. Went outside after checking in to check out to hot tub and pool as this was the main reason we chose this property. The hot tub was over flowing, and cold. And the pool was ice cold. Unfortunately we never got to use those amenities. So we went to bed. The front desk lady who checked us in gave us complimentary breakfast which was very nice of her. However the breakfast they served was completely unedible. Eggs and potatoes were so soggy and sausage was under cooked. We decided to get breakfast elsewhere. We tried to explain our experience to the front desk staff in the morning however they were not accommodating or willing to listen and take our complaints seriously. We asked for the Manager Max to call us however, never received a phone call. As a Marriott Bonvoy member and I found this one of the worst stays in a Marriott. I will never return to this hotel. We even asked for a luggage cart and was told we had to get it down stairs because they did not have a housemen today. Mind you this room was $200 for the night, and definitely not worth they money they are charging for this type of treatment.

Greeting and front desk were excellent. the daily room service could use personality; wouldnt have realized my daily tip was ok other than it was gone when i got back to my room; some things in the room werent replenished or taken care of. the AC didnt work well; it didnt get cooler even with the temp cranked down. the design in the rooms seems a little backward for the shower and toilet.but these are all little things overall. not deal breakers but i can see others would have issues with it all.overall, a quaint place, that i might visit for business but not on a personal vacation.

Would I stay there again? Yes. But things to know: hey have a great breakfast on the 4th floor that is apparently a secret if you dont ask which, at $450/night (with fees and parking) is kind of important. I asked and got new keys that allowed me access to the snack room (open 24 hours) and breakfast (until 10:30) but if I hadnt asked I would have know. Also, I asked about AAA discount after I paid (Im dumb) and, so sorry, too late. So dont be like me. Ask about breakfast and AAA first. Rooms are clean and nice. Marina view room was quiet.

Pleasant room, with poor view. Pleasant, front desk people who let us know that our room would not be entered during our stay. Our first evening, we realized the safe wasnt functioning. When I reported the issue the next morning, I was told a technician would come by. I also asked for clean towels and was told to leave the dirty ones outside the door and they would be replaced; didnt happen. I had to ask again before retiring that night. During our stay, the room was never serviced. The fitness center was really nice, but it lacked mats for stretching.

I can’t rate the food because the fact that we are actually traveling with a dog and not allowed to take the dog in to eat. But what I will say is the property is amazingly gorgeous and the staff is extremely friendly. I love our room and I like the area that’s around it. Be aware if you’re traveling with the dogs gonna cost you $75 a night which is not cheap but the place is well worth it. One thing I would like to say is that both fido stations did not contain any poop bags and were covered with cobwebs. I would assume that the $75 should’ve covered that. One other sidenote is if you’re traveling with pets that you’re not allowed to go into the end of the dining areas which is not unusual however, they do not have coffee in the room so you have to go out and purchase coffee and their Starbucks in the house.

Was looking forward to the stay when I booked it. Checked in on the app and arrived at 9:30 to receive our keys. Both the app and key cards indicated we were in 109. Around midnight we were startled awake by someone trying to enter our room with a keycard. We called the front desk and were informed we were given the wrong room and did we want to move to our actual room. I declined as we didn’t want to pack everything up and move at this hour. I checked the app and it showed our current stay under the canceled tab, so I went to the front desk to make sure our keys still worked. Sure enough they didn’t. So they were rekeyed and we were given club access for our trouble. We wake up to find we were already checked out of room 210 and my Amex was charged for a gift shop purchase I didn’t make. The system had my credit card and name attached to 210 but we were in room 109. When I spoke to the manager he offered no apology or anything to make any of this right. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed for 5 days, and Saw room service trays in the hallway that lasted nearly as long... just pay someone to walk the halls... minimum wage... and pick up trash... On day of arrival I was told that they could not honor my parlor suite reservation but would provide a similar suite. On check in I was given a harbor view room, no suite, at a deep discount. I was charged the regular rack rate for the room but they showed a discount from the parlor suite rate. Spoiled my experience by dishonoring my reservation and lying about the deep discount that I was receiving for the inconvenience.

I booked a junior suit to kick off a nice weekend with my husband. He then told me he wanted to be facing the water and from the web site it didnt mention that these rooms were water facing. I called the hotel and she told me that one of their junior suits has a balcony facing the water and would assign me to that room. Sure enough, when I arrived to check in they mentioned I had requested a specific room. I was impressed with their customer service and attention to the request.

This is a beautiful hotel, on the edge of a small marina. Great views and the lobby is nicely furnished. Everything was great but the jacuzzi was shut off. The fitness room is adequate and clean. There is a fun nature trail that winds through a wetland area.

Wow the restaurant staff is terrible. The worst service in my life and I am 56. Waited 30 minutes for a drink then watched the bartender Josh go off on a customer. We could not believe it. Definitely scary. No manager anywhere. My husband took a video of the whole thing we were horrified. Would never stay again.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at this is not travel nurse friendly I stayed here for three weeks out of those three weeks my room was cleaned once with the request of me asking every day there was issues with my room key where I had to go all the way back downstairs from the 3rd floor just for them to give me a new room key they said there was issues with it.This is not a clean hotel at all stains on the carpet smells throughout the hallways hot tub and pool needs to be cleaned and overall customer service was just poor. The best thing about this hotel is the bar staff/ restaurant staff. Although the food there was very underwhelming I would not recommend this hotel at all. This is not a 4 start hotel.

The good: the staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. They really did deliver great customer service. Our room was spacious. There are nice amenities like waters in your room and shower caps. It was pouring rain, so we didnt use the pools, but they look nice. There are pretty views available.The bad: the walls are paper thin. We could hear when our neighbors cough, so we woke up a lot. The heater/cooler is very loud when it kicks on. Our shower had a lot of hair all on the walls and the fridge door had a layer of dust that has been there a while.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma as part of a three-day drive-to vacation with my mom. The location, service, and amenities were great. We enjoyed sightseeing in Bodega Bay, the Peanuts museum, and Sonoma Wine Country. The tall gentleman at the front desk was welcoming. The Bartender/server at the restaurant on Monday evening provided excellent service although he was clearly overwhelmed having to manage mostly everything for all guests in the bar, restaurant area. Breakfast on Tuesday was also nice, the food was yummy and the one server who mostly managed everything was friendly.

We recently booked a five day stay here and have never been so disappointed in a Marriott property! We are Marriott Bonvoy members and travel frequently. We have stayed at their properties all over the world, and this property, by far, is the worst we’ve ever encountered.The room: stains on the carpet, website says microwave in room but there wasn’t one, one towel in the room upon arrival. There was no maid service the entire stay! We had to ask for towels, washcloths, toilet paper, coffee, cups-everything. We were told we’d receive maid service after 3 days but it never happened. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They were all friendly and tried to be accommodating, but were obviously unable to do much to remedy any issues. We left earlier than planned because of our dissatisfaction. Upon check out, we asked to speak with the manager but he was “unavailable”. We even we asked that he contact us, and he has not as of this writing 2 days later.We will be contacting Marriott about our dissatisfaction with this property. My suggestion: stay anywhere but here!!

This is one of the most dog friendly hotels I have ever been to. I’ve stayed at other Sheratons before, but have never seen so many people bring their dogs than I have here. The hotel is just like any regular Sheraton. There was nothing that made it shine out more or less than the other Sheraton hotels. Our room was clean and the staff cleaned our floor regularly. It’s very convenient to many Sonoma and Petaluma wineries. Downtown Sonoma was about a 20 minute drive. This hotel is in a great location if wine tasting is on your list and you want to bring your dog. There’s also a trail through a nature preserve right outside the hotel that is super dog friendly!

We are staying here for two nights and even though it’s a Sheraton hotel, the amenities are still bleak. We were welcomed to our room with a grocery bag of trash outside- and this tended to be a common theme on the floor. There were cups and bags of trash outside many rooms, remaining in the hallways all day. It’s bare bones, basic, and not tended to well. Two stars only because there’s a nice pet policy, our dog was able to stay and there’s a park nearby.

I have stayed in many Sheraton hotels across the country, and sadly to say this one was the most disappointing.It is sad because this hotel has a lot of potential.Things that were very disappointing:- Stayed for 4 nights, and never had maid service one time, DESPITE requesting it TWICE during our 4 night stay!!- Our garbage was overflowing and we had to request towels twice (because of no maid service). We set the trash and towels in the hall for easy pick-up by the service staff, and they sat there in the hall for 1 1/2 days, despite the maids being present in the hall servicing other rooms,- Two of the front desk staff, the man during the day and the lady in the evening, both had a very unfriendly attitude, and acted like I was bothering them, when I asked simple questions. Very unusual for a Sheraton.- When at the pool, towels were not restocked and had to walk inside to request pool towels (one of the times that poor attitude was present from front desk staff).I can honestly say this was the worst stay I have ever had in a Sheraton facility.PS- I never leave bad reviews, so for me to do so, I was really disappointed.(Traveling with daughter and two granddaughters)

This should be 3.5 stars. The location of my room was BAD! End of the hallway on the first floor, next to the elevators. Avoid room 174 if u stay here! Room itself was spacious. Did have a hole in the bathroom wall. The used coffee cup that was left in the garbage can along with the unplugged light and blinking, unset clock were a nice touch. View out the window was nice. The bar was GREAT! Terrific service, and some terrific beers on tap. Breakfast was good. The poor folks working the breakfast shift were short staffed and apologized profusely for delay. Food was great! May try this hotel one more time but that is due to the staff. From the checkin/checkout to the bar and kitchen, everyone was friendly and helpful

Visited there for my birthday and used one of my suite upgrades, honestly I feel like it was wasted. My favorite hotel in Petaluma! Why? Well, I think their hotel is beautifully situated on the river! Their restaurant is really good and their rooms are beautiful! But the most important thing of all is that they are dog friendly! They allow you up two dogs per night! When a family that is coming to pick up their puppy from us asks where to say we tell them the Sheraton Petaluma!

Wonderful experience. Staff at check in was professional and friendly, and offered an upgrade to a marina view at no additional cost. Room was very clean and the bathroom is more spacious than hotels of the same caliber. If Im being picky, the water pressure was a real disappointment. Great products in the bathroom as well. Complimentary bottled water is always a plus. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Room temperature could only go down to 64, and I wish it would have gone a little lower (I like to have it in the lower 60s for overnight). Not really anything to improve on drastically. Would certainly stay here again.

Wow this hotel has gone down hill. The televisions dont even work. Its their satellite company so nothing can be done. The worst is the rude front desk staff. We got put into a terrible room one that was cramped with 1/2 the normal size window, plus a non working TV and they would not move us. I wont be staying her again. On arrival I asked if bed had been made with fresh linen as looked unkempt, was informed clean linen but iron is broken!! Was told on check in that our 2 day stay the room would not be cleaned but I could ask for clean towels, why not told before I booked!! Rang 3 times before towels arrived!! First, the pool is not a lap pool and it is surrounded by a gate, kid of like a jail and it’s really not large enough to accommodate the hotel size. Second, it’s not walkable to anything. Third, no room service. I called and it rang and rang and rang and rang. In the evening there was in person running the front desk and the coffee shop, that didn’t go over well. Fifth, the pillows were HORRIBLE. Be ready to be in pain when you leave. No one was friendly and no one even told us where our room was. We also paid $13 for parking. No one mentioned that at all. Just showed up on the bill. Parking was nearly empty. No one was there, but sure steal money from the people who are staying there. This was not worth the money. Stay anywhere else.

Very poor customer service. Staff just stand looking at you when you enter and dont attempt any sort of greeting. They spend all their time talking to each other or having frivolous conversations instead of helping guests. For the first time in my whole live of staying in hotels, the toilet was actually plugged when I entered the room and though a new room was provided, no apologies were ever given. Just a terrible excuse for a hotel. Ive stayed in 2 star motels where the staff were 10 times more professional and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. I have had the opportunity to stay there monthly for the past four months or so. Each stay I have had nothing but the most friendly and welcoming staff encounters. Front desk staff are on the ball professionals, prompt and courteous. Check in was quick and friendly. We upgraded our room to have access to the appetizers/breakfast. The appetizers were nice, good non-alcoholic drink options, and a fabulous espresso maker. The breakfast was rather limited. While the beds were extremely comfortable, the room was not clean. Dirty glassware and console. This was reported upon checkout, and were given a slight discount and points on our account. I called the supervisor when we returned home and asked about their restitution policy and was told $30-50 is fair for this kind of incident. Finally, the website reports that parking is free --- but its not. I only learned this after getting my reservation confirmation.Given that this was one of my first experiences as a club member (and I have other memberships), I am unlikely to choose Sheraton in the future.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate Valentines Day and my wedding ring was stolen from my night stand drawer. I am devastated, I’ve had this ring for over 20 years. Initially both my wedding and anniversary ring came up missing but after I called the police(because they refuse to) my anniversary ring “suddenly” was found in the room. The value of the wedding ring was 3 times the price of the anniversary ring. The kicker to this whole awful experience is that the police officer treated me as a criminal when she arrived. Even though I am the one that called! She told me not to move and asked me if “I had any warrants” I was extremely caught off guard by her absurdity and misconduct but quickly realized not only was I a victim of racial profiling but the hotel staff lied and said (a couple in their 50’s) we vandalized the room once they realized the police were called. Public bathrooms were dirty, restaurant staff was rude.As for the hotel itself, our room on the Club floor was as expected, fitness room was great (Though it could use a few more weight equipment), sauna in the fitness center was a treat, as was the pool. Club staff were friendly, and the breakfast was a nice selection of yogurt, fresh eggs, oatmeal, fruit, pastries, breads, and cereals. A medium roast coffee option would habe been ideal, not everyone likes the darkest of the dark roasts that Starbucks offers. Always spring for a club room, its worth it just to have a second place in the hotel to hang out in.Central location was great for hitting Petaluma restaurants and driving further afield for other attractions.

I had 4 rooms there from 2/4 - 2/6/19. At check-in, I asked the guy at the front desk for a room upgrade as a benefit from my platinum level membership. This hotel is rather stunning from the outside. It is a little bit hard to find the lobby because if you go to the right when you first go in, chances are if its dark or foggy you will drive right into a giant Lagoon. Luckily for me I saw the outline of a boat and stopped before my car went under water. They have nice conference rooms and a restaurant on the premises. There is also a large Office Park that is part of the property. The reception clerk was incredibly rude and the hotel had double charged my room onto my card after my company had already paid for it. Way to go! Nice clean, executive or business style hotel. Over looks the Petaluma river. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I was concerned about its proximity to the highway but I could not hear any highway noise. Good place to get some rest.

I reserved a room with two queen beds more than a month in advance for four people and when we checked in they said that all of their rooms with 2 beds were full. So they “upgraded” us to a single king bed. We have FOUR people! Plus we paid more for the room that had two beds. Not only can they not hold confirmed and paid for reservations, they are also liars. The hotel itself is clean and the staff were very friendly. 2 stars lost because of the train line that is across from rooms looking over the marina. Starting at 4:30am and every 20/30 minutes until 9:30pm a train comes past and sounds it’s horn multiple times. Hotel itself is nice but location can be bothersome. Because of close proximity to the railroad you can hear train’s horn during the night. The hotel provides ear plugs but it’s not healthy to have them in your ears for all night long. Petaluma’s cattle smell is disgusting, you can smell it always when you leave the hotel. Hotel staff is very nice and supportive. Parking fee is 10$ per day.

Long story short, I had a strange and upsetting night and ended up leaving another hotel in tears and coming to this Sheraton. Throughout my childhood my parents had fairly often booked with Sheraton for family vacations so I put my trust and just walked in at almost 12am.Staff - The most friendly and professional staff that night, unfortunately I dont remember her name but she was absolutely wonderful. She was comforting, warm and understanding of me. Helped me sign up for a membership and assured me that we would be taken care of. She sent us to the 4th floor because we had signed up which includes breakfast in the morning and we were so grateful for that.Atmosphere - okay hear me out, I had literally just come from another hotel in tears and feeling strangely scared. Ive gone on vacations almost 2x a year and Im 24 now. Ive never come out of a hotel like that. The second I walked into the doors of sheraton, theres a fireplace, the sherton scent which the staff told us about and plesent calming furniture.Even the drunk couple in the bar area were happy and it was actually comforting to see other people rather than the deserted hotel we were previously at.Room - The same feel greeted us at our room, it was big, new and very warm. We set up a bath and just relaxed after our eventful night, it was perfect and the window looked onto the calming harbor with boats and docks.Breakfast - although it wasnt big the food was so good, Id never had eggs that good! Huge varetiy of almond milks and tea and coffee. Fruits and pasteries. Just a simple comforting breakfast.I cant thank you guys enough :)

The Sheraton in Petaluma is experiencing a serious issue with vehicles being stolen from their parking lot. Specifically Ford Trucks. The majority of the vehicles staying there for a four week long horse show were trucks, and quite a few Fords. I was staying with a woman who filled out the vehicle information for parking at check in, stating it was a Ford truck, and they did not warn her about the issue.When her truck was inevitably stolen (along with three others in one night), the police said that the hotel absolutely knows there is an issue. They should have made some effort to let her know she should park at the front entrance near the lobby, near their security cameras, to ensure the truck was not stolen. There is an entire section of their parking lot that is not covered by security cameras.The hotel did not acknowledge any liability, and did nothing to assist except comp her parking charges and one nights stay. Its absurd given their knowledge of the issue and complete disregard of the safety of their guests.

GLASS EXPLODED all over me and my room when I accidentally tapped the edge of a glass tabletop. I spent the evening picking glass out of my belongings and my foot.Corporate customer service sympathized with the terrible experience and filed a case for me, but then the hotel management charged me a DAMAGE FEE...Guest safety and welfare is not their priority. I’m discouraged that they could treat someone like this after an already very upsetting experience.--I stayed at this hotel hoping for a relaxing trip away from the city, and the experience was completely ruined. Every surface in the room has a large plate of tempered glass on top of it - I was told this is to make cleaning easier. The surface of glass on the dresser, which doubles as a tv stand, is about 5 x 2. I was using the surface as anyone would - as a place to set my things, along with the glasses and coffee maker the hotel provides.At one point (and I was 100% sober, so I dont want this to be misconstrued as drunken or irresponsible behavior), I set an unused bottle of wine on the glass surface. As I did, the side of the bottle bumped the edge of the glass surface. I dont know if the glass was weakened by a previous event, but when I say the explosion of glass was spectacular, it is no exaggeration. I thought a bomb had gone off - it took me a moment to realize what had happened. Glass shattered and exploded all over the room - on the bed, in my belongings, my food, and on me (I even ended up with a piece in my foot).In shock, I called the front desk to let them know what had happened. They were initially unhelpful, telling me to sit in the lobby and wait while they cleaned it. I told them I thought Id probably need a different room because the glass was so widespread. They reluctantly agreed, and when I went to the lobby to pick up my new key, they asked me if I needed a glass of water - Im sure my face showed how shaken I was.I called the corporate service number because I kept thinking about how, if somehow this same freak accident happened to someone who was intoxicated or had children in the room or just wasnt as lucky as I was, there could be much more serious injury than glass in a persons foot. I wanted to report the freak accident and hoped it would be taken more seriously than it was by the individuals at the front desk. The woman I spoke with at corporate was very helpful and sympathetic to how traumatizing the experience was. She even mentioned that although she couldnt promise anything, she thought the front desk would make things right beyond just the parking compensation. I told her I wasnt looking for that but was just trying to do what I could to prevent other guests from having a similarly scary experience.Three days later, I noticed a hefty charge on my credit card. The hotels management charged me a damage fee. Im amazed at the pettiness and lack of empathy that the people at this hotel seem to have. I called back this morning and was told management wasnt available. I was hoping to settle this with corporate customer service, at least to make them aware of the situation, but I never dreamed that a company would charge a guest after such a traumatic situation in which they were actually injured. It could have been much more serious than it was.Dont go to this hotel, choose another one. If they are ok with glass exploding on their guests, demean the guests concerns, and then have the lack of compassion to charge them a damage fee after such a scary situation, then clearly safety and welfare is at the bottom of their priority list.

Jennifer, the motel manager on duty, Interrupted my conversation I was having with Tyler, the hotel clerk. Tyler graciously took my name and number and placed it on the list. We had a terrible experience checking in. The person checking us in was a trainee and the manager was right next to him, but she acted as if she was more his buddy or a peer, or even as if he was senior. Unfortunately he was doing a terrible job, so we were beginning to get upset. Eventually we figured out that the poor guy was just struggling to learn whilst his boss was standing right next to him and not helping him at all, instead she was distracted with stuff on her computer and her phone, occasionally throwing him some pointer, often out of context and just making it worse. When we started getting really annoyed with him, she jumped in to criticize *our* behavior. That upset us even more because clearly he didn’t know the hotel, the room types, how to operate the system, etc. Then she said she was only “trying to protect her agent”, that’s when we realized *she* was supposedly the manager. Her job isn’t to “protect” him, it’s to *train* him.In hindsight, we want to send our apologies to the poor trainee who was working the night of January 20th, 2018. Because we were directing our ire mostly at him, when clearly he was a deer in the headlights with an incompetent manager hovering near enough to stress him, but who was uninvolved so didn’t help him, and seemed to make no effort to actually train him. Please forward our apologies for getting pissed at him.And please hire another manager, she is causing him to have a terrible experience as a trainee. At a minimum, don’t have her supervising trainees.

I am a little shocked and appalled since we were down at the pool earlier that night and someone was smoking a cigar in a non-smoking area, then we got accused of this. The whole incident gave us a bad taste in our mouths and we will most likely stay elsewhere next time.

They mean well but they are clearly not properly managed short staffed oh, and apparently cant afford to keep much inventory in stock. Its one of those horrible situations where theyre doing poorly so they cant invest to try to do better because theyre afraid to lose even more. My favorite stay in Petaluma. Situated next to a marina with wetlands that have raise walkways for hiking and walking your dog/s. Plus, the restaurant is probably one of my favorite hotel restaurants. It never fails to deliver.

The room was nice, the reception was not! rude and sarcastic was the attitude I was welcome with, for sure not what I was specting from a Sheraton hotel and the price one pays for the room

Ok Hotel they charge $10 for parking which is ridiculous in my opinion but makes their online price seem cheaper up front. No coffee makers in room as they sell coffee downstairs. Staff was very nice and helpful beds were comfy and rooms clean

Due to Covid still not offering many amenities. No pool, gym or dining. The restaurant still offers room service. Rooms do not have microwaves.Staff is amazing!

Went for drinks at the Sheraton hotel in Petaluma. Service was slow considering there seemed to be barely any guests. Drink werent mixed well. The bar tender has a light touch with the alcohol

This hotel became our go-to wine country home base several years ago and should stay in that slot for as long as were still in love with Sonoma County. Its perfectly situated for day trips to Sonoma, Napa, Santa Rosa or Healdsburg for wine or food grazing. Reasonable rates, good service, refrigerators in the rooms and a lovely boat marina out back.

We were here for the Sonoma County cheese festival, so we really only saw the event space, the lobby, and surrounds. With that said comma its definitely got a marina feel to it, inside and out. Would have liked to had stayed here.
