2024-07-01 23:34:36My friend, who got married near by used the Sheraton as base for the marriage party. Lots out of town people stayed here, local people, etc. I was a little nervous about booking a room here because all the negative reviews. And ours was great. We were on the third floor balcony. Others did not have the same experience. Even our room could use a refresh as far as the tub and shower. The brunch buffet is nice and the services good. At some point you need to upgrade your elevators. They broke down at one point during our stay. Parking is great. It’s a beautiful spot and the outdoor area was nice. Invest a little money you could really have a, five star location.

2024-04-03 00:00:00Don’t make the same mistake that I did and book here hoping that you get a good room, even if you have in the past like I did. It seems the hotel has gone down in recent years, which is sad given the serene location and high potential of this property. Housekeeping staff is obviously overworked and management doesn’t care about customer comfort as I’ve tried for weeks to talk to them and no one has gotten back to me even after reaching out to corporate…I was on a medical trip and thought that by spending a little more and staying at the Sheraton that I would be ensured a clean room and comfortable stay however, I got the complete opposite. When I arrived, I was placed in a room on the third floor, and it appeared that the bed had just simply been remade after the past guest instead of having the sheets replaced. I went down to the front desk and the staff was concerned and supportive, then placing me in another room a few doors down, which, unfortunately had the same situation. I returned to the front desk and they asked me if I would be willing to have a staff member come with me to look at a couple other rooms. The staff member showed me a room down the hallway on the third floor, and this room seemed a little bit better, but also to have the same issue. They then took me to a room on the club member floor, and encouraged me to stay in that room as it was the best that they had to offer. I decided to do so, and carried my luggage up to the room. As I tried to settle in, I realize that the bed was more disgustingly dirty than the rest. Besides the severely wrinkled sheets, there were hairs all in the bed, and the mattress had been shifted, revealing bodily fluids on the headboard. I had also booked a room with a balcony to ensure airflow as I am immune compromised, and when I opened up the balcony door, I realized that there had been rain collecting on the patio, causing it to turn black and bubble with mold. I went to use the bathroom and discovered food stains on the hanging bathrobe along with urine on the toilet seat.I called the front desk and they moved me back to the room on the third floor. After this long ordeal which required me to go up and down their long hallways with carpet pattern reminiscent of the Overlook Hotel in “The Shining”, back-and-forth to the front desk multiple times, it was now midnight. I went to shower before bed and found the drain was clogged. :( Then the heater wouldn’t stop running, so I had to literally unplug it from the wall because the remote and the thermostat didn’t work (this was after the front desk agent said he checked it to make sure it was working properly) but I was too tired to bother with contacting the front desk again.I talked to the front desk in the morning and told them my concerns. They were very concerned said they would talk to the manager (who conveniently happened to not be available at the time) and housekeeping. Since then, my husband and I have both tried to call multiple times, left multiple messages, reached out to corporate who also sent them an email and the hotel supervisor manager has never gotten back to me. Please see photos of the top floor suite! 🤢

2024-06-03 23:06:48Decent hotel in the area, hotel is somewhat outdated, but has plenty of amenities.Full service bar and restaurant plus the club level if you are eligible with decent breakfast. Main restaurant has better breakfast but isnt free.Room was fine, bathroom was so-so, shower very outdated but the shampoo body wash was quality. Internet TV did not work but was not in a rush to complain. There is not much to do in the area but walk around, however if you are the type to get up early and walk around or jog, this is a nice area to do so. Only thing close by walking distance is a gas station then a small strip mall with some restaurants. If you are passing through for a day/night, or 2 nights for work, this hotel is nice but not the best internet. Would recommend as a transit hotel, although there was several families there and using the pool.

2024-05-21 03:12:14I absolutely cannot believe this is a Marriott branded hotel. We always pick Marriott/Bonvoy because we know the level of service and cleanliness is to our standards but this place is a huge letdown. We arrived and could just tell this place was outdated and needed work. The stairs leading up need some paint and the property needs to be picked up, trash everywhere in the parking lot. The front desk person assured me that there was a freezer in my room to store my breastmilk. We get to our room and as soon as we open the door, there is just an old smell not bad just old. I look around for a freezer and find the fridge but no freezer, I call the front desk and they said they don’t have freezers so that was my first issue. Then we noticed the bottom of our sheets had marks on them like they weren’t cleaned just remade. We brought pillows and blankets so we just slept on top of the comforters and would deal with it in the morning since we didn’t check in until 11pm. We asked about the sheets and they said the cleaning cart probably hit the side of the bed? Okay maybe but that’s not good service. I do a service request for towels at 5:27 thru the app at 8:35 still no towels. I then send a chat thru the app and no response. I call to the front desk at 9 for the towels and finally at midnight we receive towels. The pool looks like nobody ever cares for it and it has floaties that are deflated and just laying around everywhere. This place is gross honestly and I can’t believe I actually put up with two nights here. I have sent an email to corporate but no response yet. Never again!

2024-05-19 23:00:41Avoid this hotel and Sheraton brand! Front desk people were good but hotel is dated and manager does not return calls or emails. Does not deserve Marriott/BonVoy branding. When I appealed to Marriott corporate I discovered their hands are tied. Company wins, customer loses. Not the Marriott I once knew and respected.

2024-02-19 15:05:50I stayed here for a few nights. There were many little things that went wrong. It started when I arrived, staff said they were short on keys to the room and only gave us one. That wasnt a problem until we went to the room and the one key given didnt work. I called them and they brought up two keys. I guess they had keys now after that. We got a balcony suite and the balcony was dirty. They also said there was 2 complimentary waters in the room, but there were not. The TV kept freezing. The thing that really set me off was the dirty jacuzzi. I told the staff and they said they were going to send someone to clean it right away. We looked from our hotel balcony and never seen anyone clean it. It was disgusting. I dont like to complain, but for the amount of money paid, I expected a smoother stay.

2024-04-27 14:50:02Arrived and our bathroom smelled like cannabis smoke. No fan in bath either. They gave us a room next door and had sprayed so much febreeze my eyes were watering all night. Booked club room for extra money and was told on check in that the breakfast, snacks, and desserts were only offered Sun-Thurs (Not on the weekend when the rates are $$) so we paid a lot extra for a few cans of Pepsi. Very disappointed.

2024-06-04 17:46:25Bathroom was covered in black mold. I left the property immediately, unfortunately I prepaid for the stay. Management is unresponsive in issuing a refunding for the nights I did not stay there. This is appalling. I have left several voicemails and sent several emails.

2023-10-26 15:29:18Booked the room online. Was a little out of the way for our travels, but that was our fault. Its hidden on a hill, definitely older but far from rub down. Excellent staff checked us in. People hanging out in cafe and bar. Very business like.Rooms were dark brown themed and somewhat modern. I would have liked some bright color accents. But kinda classy.Bed was awesome..like I wanted to take it home awesome.Quiet and clean.

2023-11-30 19:14:30I wanted to write a review to thank the staff for the amazing way they supported my family in finding my 5yr old autistic son who is non-verbal when he ran away from the room and missing for almost 15min.The front desk acted within 30seconds of me reporting my son missing. The hotel was locked down and the police arrived within minutes. What stuck out to me most was that the ENTIRE staff was not only focused on finding my son but they were calm and SO KIND so me (especially) as I ran around frantically... (even into parts of the hotel I was not permitted) and continued to stay by our side until he was found. The aftermath of him running away was met by a staff that continued to be gracious and kind for the duration of our stay.THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND KINDNESS!Specifically, thank you: Chris, Jani, Kim, Galindo, Michelle and Michael.I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and its staff and cannot thank you all enough.
