Super cute cafe in Roseville, with drive thru. I had a generous Affogado while I waited for an appointment. Friendly staff, varied menu, lots of places to sit for working on laptops or reading a book. Very cool atmosphere

Good fresh coffee. Nice employees. This cafe is so cute. There is inside seating and outside seating as well. They do have a drive thru as well. They have some delicious pasteries! The BLT sandwich was delicious! The bacon was delicious and crunchy. The mango lemonade was so delicious!!! Its definitely a great cafe.

Shady has been a long standing favorite of mine out in Roseville. Ill find any reason to stop in and visit them. Its your typical light breakfast/lunch fair spot, nothing over the top from them. Food is always fresh and well prepared. And as should be expected, coffee is quality and prepared by people that care about their craft!

Trying really hard to find more coffee shops that allow me to create a work space etc. So i can do work and chill. the vibe is chill, but the service feels patronizing and not to par with the prices. Took like 10 minutes for a late. It feels like, Empire Records, meets 2024 Starbucks, and I just want peace and quiet. I get it, I dont understand traditional coffee, but neither do half the customers coming it adds to the time it takes many to order. Its an experience... for a late? Eh. Lol

I ordered a Latte with oat milk. Oat milk substitution was 1.75 additional which I thought very expensive and barista didnt froth the oat milk well. Flavor of the coffee was mediocre. Nice atmosphere, but I wont recommend it if you want a good coffee.

Cute little coffee shop, friendly staff. I love the lavender latte 💖 The place has a rustic vibe and is quiet. Thank you sooo much for not blasting loud tunes. You can actually have a conversation here without shouting over the music. This was a great spot to chill and get some work done. Very much appreciated 😊

Amazing staff and service! Very hippie vibe. Be careful with your chai order as it can be very spicy/strong (staff was amazing you can ask for weaker chai, which my friend did). Some salad can be a bit oily (again, you can request less). Sandwiches are ✨ amazing✨ Seriously would come back for the hippie sandwich and avocado toast. Love the cute fairy light/rustic vibe out back with cute seating. A lot of people come here to study/work.

Cool coffee and tea shop a bit compact on the inside, but outside sitting is available. The staff is friendly and will make your drink the way you want if you talk to them, my wife got a breakfast sandwich at 7pm and it was fresh and tasted good. Drive-thru is available, although its unusual, but its there.

This place has the best coffee and lattes in the area. Great place for studying and meeting up with friends. The staff is great and brings your coffee to your seat. If your in a hurry this place may not be for you as the food takes a while to make as they start making it once you order. The blueberry scones are a must try!

If you want a quiet place to yourself, a cozy little spot then this is the place for you! I got a chai iced latte and it was very flavorful and not overly sweet (which is the perfect combo). The employees were super kind and made the drinks within minutes (it was a Thursday afternoon so it was pretty empty). I heard that they also have mic nights on Fridays so definitely will be coming back to check that out!

Great ambiance. The service is great. The coffee was excellent. I like that they serve beer and wine as well. There are plenty of seats in the back but no outlets to charge your computer. Come fully charged or sit inside. I will definitely be going back there again.

I went here Friday and didn’t know they did music from 7pm to 9pm. I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a nice quiet spot (great for introverts). The music wasn’t too loud and there was a lot of variety and even some spoken word. I got a cranberry chicken salad that was really fresh and delicious. There is an inside area and outside area. The porch area was nice and inside is a nice area to hide away for work. Had lots of variety to it. The staff were friendly and nice - seemed to enjoy what they do. I’d definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Terrible. I’m shook by the majority of positive reviews. A previous review said “ Once I finally got my coffee it was weak like they reused grounds or just added water to a drip coffee” and it’s extremely ACCURATE. The picture is of the iced cold brew I ordered. Tasted like watered down drip coffee. Disappointing, and the barista was hesitant to give us straws when we asked for them. Also, the carrot cake was bland. I will say the inside of the shop had fabulous AC and cute decorations.

The positives I like here is the ambiance is very quaint and hipster. Has limited seating inside but does have a nice large outside deck. The staff is friendly and Id say the quality of food is good. I would have liked to give this place a higher rating but two things have been consistently wrong both times Ive been here. 1) My order was incorrectly made, even tho it was just a simple sandwich and a drink. And 2) For the amount of food you get, WAY over priced. An avocado toast is $8 for 1 slice and minimal avocado mash. Very underwhelming. I bought a single basic sized sandwich for $13, with no side. I also ordered a 8oz drink, which came to a total of $18 and some change. For a small sandwich and a drink, that is ridiculous. I felt ripped off to be completely honest. I suggest to the owner either bring down the price or make the portions bigger and add a side. Its a basic consideration to your customers who are paying so much for something so basic.

Nothing like needing some good joe and breakfast after a long weekend. Today was the day after many drive bys and Ill go there one day.Long lines, walkup and drive through at certain times of the day.Recommend the seasonal flavor latte.The lavender latte waa bomb.We were a tad a sad that there was no omlettes. This place is wonderful when it comes to location and service. Very laid back and welcoming with a friendly staff and provides internet and plugs to charge up while you sip on some coffee and eat their delicious avocado toast. But its a small place sound travels very easily, the staff tend to treat the business like their own personal hang out by making you subjected to listen to their dramas and life stories while you try to work or read a book. It would probably benefit the owners to set some boundaries in this area so the workers can co exist with the patrons. As not everyone wants to be interrupted in their focus with stories about cheating partners or personal issues.. Its a bit intrusive and lacks some business etiquette. With that being said, I would recommend this place to others but would let them know of this element that may re route them to another place

Shady Coffee & Tea is one of our favorite places to meet with partners. The food and drinks are scrumptious and their prices are very reasonable. In the summer they have live music on their covered patio and in the winter guests get to enjoy their unique indoor setting. Parking is limited so keep that in mind if you are on a tight schedule as you will most likely need to arrive early to find a spot.

As a first timer was disappointed after all the great things I heard about this place. I got a vanilla iced latte, asked if it was possible to get a extra shot, I was told they don’t do an extra shot anymore only 2 shots at a time, ok then I asked for extra ice and less milk so that way I taste the espresso more. Did not turn out that way, came as a regular. When I asked the gentleman that made it if this was extra ice he said yes. Found it hard to believe when other drinks that were coming out had the same amount of ice. Won’t be coming back

Friendly experience. I have driven by this place for years and never stopped by until today. When I was there I saw they have an outdoor sitting area, outdoor covered sitting area and a dive through- which will be convenient when I come back. They had a couple of vendors in the parking lot today which I love they are supporting local businesses. There was a flower market van and a jewelry table both super adorable.My coffee was delicious by the way.

My boyfriend just paid $5 for a small cold brew. It was supposed to have vanilla added but we didn’t try it until after we drove off. There was no vanilla and it didn’t taste like cold brew at all. It wasn’t smooth like cold brew, just tasted like some bad, strong coffee. Not a good bean. Based off reviews I really thought the place would be good.

The place was hustling today but they were getting all of the orders in and done quickly, except for an (understandable) delay on some of the food. Super sad experience tonight. Came here to have a great time, listen to local artists and perform as well. This has always seemed like a judgement free place until tonight. I asked to use the restroom only to walk back in to hear the employees bashing me. Its unfortunate as this has always felt like a chill spot with a good vibe until tonight. I addressed It with one of the employees and she apologized which I truly appreciated but unfortunately my vibe was killed after hearing them talk badly. The open mic host is incredible and fun and has a wonderful voice. Sad I wont experience his talent any longer as I wont be returning

Had a very small average in taste cappuccino that took about 15 minutes to be brought to my table basically cold. The location is right of a busy street but looks very cool. Half the patio has a roof on it and half of it is uncovered. I like the location and the setting but I didnt like the coffee there.

Wonderful and authentic coffee shop with great service. They have a beer and wine selection and some food choices as well as their magnificent coffees. Not too much seating on the inside (and being a popular coffe spot, this is important) however they have quite a large outdoor seating area that i believe is mostly covered. Parking is scarce unless there is room on the street. Overall, fantastic coffee shop.

Ive wanted to like this place cause its so convenient and its a cute little coffee house but Ive tried 4 different times. Not once has my order been timely or correct. A large looks likes a small and the young kids working all look like theyd rather be somewhere else. You pay as much as you would at a Starbucks or a Petes but the service and quality isnt the same.

The staff here is always extremely friendly and the coffee is always outstanding (shout out to Mast Coffee Co. – you guys do great work). The outdoor seating is such a nice option to have when the weather permits; some people even brave the elements when the lunch rush rolls through. I moved away from the Roseville area but make sure to stop in here whenever I visit someone who lives nearby.

This is definitely a hipster coffee shop. Not a lot of space to hang around in. Pricey for basic beverages. Not many options. The decor is nice. They have an outdoor area that I havent seen yet but it seemed like most people went out there so it must be nice. It attracts a younger crowd. I havent seen older people visit. There is a drive thru. There is a parking lot. It only has 3 spaces so youll have to park on the street. Hope you know how to parallel park!

They have so many drink options! They have coffee, hot teas, cold teas, so many flavors to choose from, they have Arnold palmers, beer, wine etc... the food options are amazing. I got their avocado toast with tomatoes and extra avocado and it was so good. The staff was amazing, they allowed and loved my brothers non service dog to come I and stay. The seating is either pretty open in the outdoor area, or its more intimate and cozy indoors.

The inside is tiny, so we sat outside -- they have a porch fan for warm days and varied seating options. I love this place but if you are looking for blended drinks you wont find them here. It has a great little dark nook with WiFi for your laptop. They have a large outdoor patio out back as well. If you are in a rush they have a drive through service. All you need to do is stop your car just outside the front door in the driveway. Look for the stop painted on the asphalt.

Open mike is outside with heaters that keep you warm, so anyone who is only interested in something to drink, doesnt have to hear the music. This place truly is awesome! I have lived in Roseville for 10 years and this is by far my favorite coffee shop. In addition to having GREAT coffee (owners really go out of their way to feature quality coffee from around the world) the food is soooo good!!! The vegetarian sandwich is loaded with yummy FRESH veggies and its huge! They also have beer and wine, so its a great place to come on a summer evening to drink a glass of vino out on the back patio. Inside its cozy and cool, there is a little tucked away spot if you want to just plug in your computer and not be bothered. The outside patio has both tables and sofas to lounge in. In the summer misters are running on the patio to keep it nice and cool. Ive been to a few of the Jazz Wednesday nights out on the patio, had a glass of wine, and its been a really great vibe every time. Staff is always super friendly and fast. Even when there is a line-it moves quickly. Love this place-cant say enough good things.

I feel like that would create more of a warm relaxing atmosphere. Not that its bad. I just think it would add to it! My first and unfortunately last visit here was not great. My boyfriend and I met up with friends here and we ordered a beer for him and a water for me and hung out for a while but as we were leaving, my boyfriend wanted to grab a water to go, so we went to the window thinking they would give us a water free since we ordered earlier but that was not the case. The cashier stated that the cup of water is 55¢. I mean we were just patrons and charging for something as trivial as a cup of water didn’t sit well with me and honestly goes to show how the company conducts business. With that being said, I completely understand that what COVID-19 has done to small businesses is detrimental but to nickel-and-dime paying customers is very, very bad business. Unlike other local coffee shops this one focuses on more than just coffees. An assortment of teas, beers, and wines are avaible. Lots of different kinds of sitting places to try. Wifi is solid and secure. Lol I once got kicked out of here because of the mirrors on the walls of the main room found me looking at adult content. The barista at the time said it was a church based family establishment just far warning. Ive never had any issues like that at mom and pop shops or Starbucks or Peetes. This is a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, sit back with a book or laptop. The outdoor area is shaded with fans(in the summer) and heaters(in the winter).

Great place to go coffee is tasty and food is great I dont know why some of the reviews are complaining about the smell and how hot it was maybe they should lose weight then it wouldnt be so hot lmao

Id like to write the positive feedback, but my first & last visit was tainted by spoiled milk in my cappuccino. Couldnt imagine before that Ive even tried spoiled milk for $4.
