Dropping my car off I was so nervous but this place was so great. Renee explained every step of the way. She was so kind and just amazing. I had to give her a hug i was so happy. And the lifetime guarantee was the cherry on top!

One of the worst experiences of my life on top of me being involved in the car collision. I had to deal with and Chase after this disaster of a body shop they should have their license pulled.My vehicle was deemed total loss they overlooked a damaged axle! Patched up a lot of damages using BondoThey cause more damage then the original damage. My 2015 truck was unsafe not fixed on top of that i had no warranty on the “repair”They were very disrespectful and unprofessional. But shout out the The lady at the front she was crying have a bad day or maybe she hates her life but she tends to take it out on the customer. And has an attitude issue I can see why her man is leaving her she can’t handle the adult world. She spilled her life to me and all I wanted to do was drop off My truck 🙃!Gustavo Was just lost, it’s like they hire anyone because he was worried about everything else but the work that was promised to be done. He lied and told me the truck was safe and I almost spun out driving up hill in the rain.I don’t wanna go onto too much deaths because I have emails text messages and videos of their unprofessionalism but I’ll share one photo of the “ repaired” version of my truck and you tell me from just looking at the dash if my truck is safe or fixed! This is how my truck was returned to me!

Poor quality repairs. Missing plastic clips, frame repair rusting after a year. Thats after the initial repair and I had to take it back for rework as well. They miss the mark for quality. The repair Looked ok on the outside, just dont look under the hood if you get your car back from here if you want to be happy.

Edit: this issue still has not been resolved yet, and I have filed an office complaint to the department of consumer affairs California. NO ONE from service King has ever contacted me besides leaving me this email. I have sent the email two weeks ago, and I have not yet received any responses yet. EVERYONE please be aware of this location.I have always had a great impression of Service King until recent experiences. My Benz SUV was rear-ended about two months ago. Although Service King - El Cajon is far from where I live in San Diego, I still trusted them because they are one of the few locations where I can work with my car and the insurance company. Most importantly, I had a great experience with Service King when I lived in Los Angeles. Hence, I visited and dropped off my car, and Renee assisted me.After a few days, I was told the car was ready to pick up since they had finished the work. They did a good job fixing the exterior damage. Renee asked me to leave a good review since she would get a bonus. I left her a good review from their internal site to do her a favor. However, I quickly found out my AC unit did not blow cold air with the engine light promptly turned on (on the second time since I drove upon picking up the car). I immediately contacted Renee at Service King and addressed my concern over the phone. I clearly remembered she said that they could not work on the mechanical problem and I should seek help from Mercedes. In addition, Renee advised me that if Mercedes can determine that this malfunction is related to the incident, Service King will further contact the insurance company and get this problem fixed.After a few weeks of waiting on my service appointment with Mercedes, I finally got my car inspected by them because I had been advised my cars mechanical issue should be done through Mercedes. To a huge surprise, I received an email from Benz with photos and videos that showed a physical damage hole on the heat exchanger, which caused a coolant leak. I asked the representative to consult with their professional technicians to see if this damage could relate to the rear-ending incident. Their answer is YES and ABSOLUTELY.However, Renees attitude toward Service King - El Cajon shocked me when I called and emailed her what Benz told me. She started to bounce issues around. She said it would need to send to the insurance company for approval, and theres nothing they can do. What do you mean that theres nothing you guys can do? There are a few things I need complete clarification.1st, I contacted you guys at once when I first found the issue, and you did not ask me to bring back my car for inspection, which caused a delay in locating the problem that was not exterior. Second, from a customers perspective, after days of frustration without a working car, you could have at least shown some empathy and a positive attitude that you guys are willing to do your best to work with me to get this issue resolved. Instead, Renee decided to bounce problems and not take the initiatives to follow up. As a consumer who had a great experience in the past, I am very disappointed. 3rd, if you guys are really working on the positive feedback to get employees bonus, show us that you actually care and really are willing to work with us throughout the process. 4th, Renee advised me, I dont work on the case anymore, and my manager will call you, then, CALL me, and lets get this resolved. 5th, Renee mentioned that they would fix my car to its condition prior to the accident. Well, Service King did not restore my car because this physical coolant leakage was not there before the accident, and Service King did not locate the problem, which caused a considerable delay.Ultimately, as a customer who really loved Service King for years, I have to say that I am very disappointed, and I sincerely wish they could take customer service seriously to protect their Brand.

So happy with the whole process. First off, Renee (receptionist) was AMAZING!! She was so friendly and made the process easy to follow. Kept me up to date with the entire process. My car looked so good after the repairs were complete! 100% recommend this place!

Terrible communication and customer service. Their commitment and promise to quality service is definitely not something Id associate this group with. Todd, the service advisor whom I was instructed to speak with, was rude, talked over me, and dismissed any responsibility for an automated notification error that said my car was ready for pick up when it wasnt. His attempt to gaslight me into accepting that it was my mistake for showing up to their shop was both infuriating and unprofessional. After presenting him with time stamped text messages, he began to back track and pin blame on something else. I lost quite a bit of money in having to cut plans short, pay cancelation fees, and have uncomfortable discussions with my workplace to reverse approved time-off. Its essential to find a repair shop that values clear communication, accountability, and respects its customers time and needs. Ill be taking this matter further to ensure that others and my insurance company are aware of my experience and subpar customer service by Service Kings.

This place is great. At the last minute I canceled my appointment with caliber collision because their staff and came here. Best thing I could have done. The staff is amazing and even went above and beyond. They kept in touch with me and answered all questions I had in a timely manner. Car looks amazing will totally be back next time. Honestly most these shops do the same thing and hard to find the better one. The experience with the staff is what sold me.

***PLEASE READ FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***Unfortunately I was involved in a pretty bad accident an rear ended from behind. My truck needed a whole new Frame, bed, tailgate and lights. Big job! over 20k in damages. I just bought the truck 1 month before the accident so I was bummed out. I cant thank Rene and the service king staff enough. Not only did they provide an excellent job with the repairs but I have to say it was with Legendary customer service. Im sorry I dont remember everyones name but Gustavo was amazing! He would text and call me with updates. Originally they told me it was gonna take about 3 weeks however they got it done in 2 weeks! Not only did they repair damages from the accident but even the small stuff lose caps and screws that were missing before they even put on for me. I wish nobody needs repairs on their cars but wow if you do... Service King is for you! I hope I dont need you again but if I do. Rene and Service King our the first people I am calling! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

I had my truck repaired here after being rear ended. Not long after picking up upon completion of repairs, I noticed a small imperfection in the paint when wiping it down one day and then started to hear a rattle when driving. I made an appointment to take the car back, after initial inspection they determined the imperfection was a bubble in the paint and I left the car for further inspection regarding the noise and repair of the paint issue. 2 days later I received a call the my car was ready and issues had been resolved. I was in a rush when picking up so I didnt check out the paint issue but did as soon as I was able once I got home. The rattle turned out to be a loose bumper clip (if memory serves) and that was fixed but the bubble was not. It actually was worse than when i dropped it off because it looks like they just scraped the bubble off and now theres a scratch in its place. I immediately called back and the gentleman I spoke with said he would check with his manager and give me a call back the next day but they would likely just repaint the entire lift gate (which I think is excessive for such a small imperfection but if thats what they feel they need to do to correct it, then so be it.) As of tomorrow it will be 3 weeks since I made that call and still have gotten no call back and no answer the couple of times I have called since then which is just unacceptable. At the end of the day, while the clip issue was really out of their control, things happen, but the fact that I also had to return for an issue with the paint, they should have made 100% sure that it was corrected prior to calling me to pick it up.
