Jim and the rest of the crew were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and make the needed repairs. They thoroughly explained the issue and what work needed to be done. Very happy with the service and will use them for maintenance of our AC and furnace moving forward.

The service I received for my broken air conditioning unit was superior.The team came out within 24 hours and assessed the AC issue as unrepairable. It was 92° out and Dennis, the tech, called the office who sent out Tobias who arrived at my home within two hours to discuss options for replacement. He was very professional and clearly explained options from purchase through lease, replacing one or both units, and the lease vs purchase program clearly and objectively.The customer experience was excellent and the new unit is scheduled to be installed within days. Tobias even offered to loan me a “swamp cooler” to get me and my family through the hot nights until the new unit is installed.I would highly recommend this company and their service personnel.

We recently purchased a house and saw that service experts had previously worked on our house for 10+ years with the previous owner. Reached out to them and was able to get an appointment super quick. (Next day/same week)Prior to coming out they had an automated text to confirm your appointment and a call from the technician who is on the way. Justin came out and arrived on time and was super professional. He walked me through our system, explained how everything worked, and provided requested/recommended service.Highly recommended! Youkhana was very professional and friendly and made it clear everything that needed to be done. It’s rare company has someone who’s worked as long as he has. People like that need to be acknowledged and given a raise in my opinion. Oscar was very efficient in setting up the payments for my new air conditioner, and was professional as well. There was no pressure from either one of the servicemen, but laid out the facts clearly and precisely. I’d be more than happy to have them on my team and working for my company as both deserve acknowledgment and raise because good employees are hard to find from my experience.

I have been using Service Experts for both my plumbing and HVAC needs. I recently had Dennis and Vincent out because I had a malfunctioning damper. They were fantastic. Our water heater was leaking and our furnace was 30+ years old, with no more parts available to fix it. The experience with Service Experts was excellent. David Duran helped us choose the best options within our budget and was on board throughout the entire install to answer questions and solve problems. Dan created a great design, moving both the WH and furnace to maximize our storage space.The install technicians, Fernando, Vincent and Kevin, did excellent work. They are incredibly skilled. Everyone was on-time, communicated well, and able to work with and around another construction crew we had working in the install space. And at the end of every day, they cleaned up the site and showed us their progress. It could not have been a smoother, more positive experience. The install was finished on time with no delays. Late afternoon Friday & furnace decided it wanted the weekend off. On call tech showed up just a few hours after my call and convinced the furnace to get back to work. Great response time & results.Update, here we are few months later & air simply isnt working. Now what? Service experts sent Tobias & Justin over & they dug into the problem. Had to undo some shoddy work from a less capable firm. Wasnt fun or easy but they got it done & now system is working as originally designed. Nice to get guys who know their stuff. Thanks gents.

Do not waste your time with this place: they cheat and scam! My husband had them come this morning, and they charged $300 to INCORRECTLY diagnose the problem. They also said our warranty expired in 2003..lie! We called and verified it was 2016! Theres a reason they get such horrible reviews! They scammed us out of $300. Please always read Yelp reviews before booking through anyone: hard lesson learned.

July 2022 updateHad to replace a circuit board today after some diagnosing. Ninous was amazing. He went back and forth tirelessly and explained the situation to me. Very detailed.===Ive always used Service Experts. They are always punctual and they get the work done. Today Dylan came by, and as always on time, he also gave me a courtesy call in advance which is appreciated.He went though the AC service today and did find an issue. He had to call other technicians which meant he was thorough. That I always appreciate as a customer. Great service call.

Just had a heating system service by Dylan. He was quite thorough, taking his time to explain what he checked, what he found and/or adjusted. He gave us some other additional maintenance options to consider, including replacing metal electrostatic filters with higher MERV efficiency paper filters and cleaning the blower motor, both of which I will be pursuing. We also have a full duct cleaning scheduled with them in 2 weeks, as their process sounded much more detailed that the typical Valpak type coupon mailer promotions.

Update in May 2023I got another service today, and again, it was an enjoyable experience. I got the battery leakage issue fixed. This is something that I wouldnt notice unless there is an experienced technician tells me.--------------Josh and Peter from Service Experts came to fix my heat pump. I cannot think of any better service. The heat pump is in the ceiling so it was difficult to reach. As opposed to those system outside the building, service in the living area is usually troublesome but Josh and Peter made it much less of a hassle. Their knowledge in this area and quick assessment identified the issue immediately and accurately. They also cleaned the filter and tried to make the whole thing perfect. I immediately signed up for the membership because I trust I will be in good hands.

Comerford pre-buyout/Service Experts now have been maintaining, repairing, and when appropriate, replacing my houses AC, furnace, and air distribution system for years. I just had a team out for my ACs spring maintenance. As usual, they were very professional. The crews have been good with making sure I know how to do basic homeowner maintenance like installing new filters to save me money. With their maintenance, my house has rarely been uncomfortable due to HVAC issues. When issues have arisen, Service Experts has fixed them promptly. Im a happy long time customer.

I called on Wednesday morning, as soon as I learned from a tenant that their furnace wasnt firing up. The customer service representative, who answered the phone was very welcoming, patient as we looked at service options, and found an appointment for later on Wednesday afternoon. Justin Simsion arrived on time, explained the process and diagnosed the problem, within 30 minutes. He explained that the replacement parts were not in his vehicle, but available in Livermore. He called the Livermore supply house, while I waited and confirmed that he could get them, early the next morning. We agreed to meet between 9:30 and 10, on Thursday. On Thursday morning, he was there, on time, and replaced the known parts. He found that an igniter was also defective, informed me, and went to an Oakland supplier to get that part. When he returned, he installed the igniter, and fired the furnace up. He tested it, for a reasonable amount of time and we are completely satisfied with the job. The tenant has heat. Justin was outstanding; the best in every way, from start to finish. Wed ask for him, if and when we have another HVAC problem.

Its Labor Day Weekend and it is really hot in Livermore the past few days!!! We were running the air yesterday to no avail; it stopped cooling the house! I called Service Experts expecting to hear its a holiday weekend and that they couldnt send anyone. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that their technicians were working and that they could fit us in for same day service. It costs a little more but its well worth it when your air conditioner stops working!Our technician was at our house in about a hour!! Evan was great; super professional yet personable! He figured out that there was an issue with the capacitor. We have a service contract with Service Experts so Evan reduced the price on the service call and part!
