I was in the waiting room for 2 hours about 5 different employees came in and out or walked by us including a managers office, not once as they walked by us did they acknowledge either of us no smile nod, or hello. Is the only time someone wants to be friendly is when I want to buy a car? The service department had some kind of courtesy. Very disappointing to know I wasnt even worth a hello or how are you doing today. If and when I need to purchase another car will I not come here. I am worth being acknowledged. I can take my car anywhere to be serviced but I choose the dealership I purchased from. Unfortunately not a friendly place.

Staff are very friendly, was waiting in my car not sure if the car in front of me where in line for the oil change … they seen me from the office and got out and help me . ..love that they have a waiting room for the kids and they offer us cookies and coffee and waters 😁

Friendly staff and best experience Ive had buying a car. The Mazda team was helpful and gave a fair price after wed done our research. Ive bought cars elsewhere before and been totally ripped off but the Mazda team was fair and not pushy or deceitful. Thank you! This is what makes repeat customers.

Deceptive practices and dishonesty and disappointing experience with sales man jesus.I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Jesus, a car salesman whose actions left me feeling utterly deceived and frustrated. Unfortunately, my experience with him revealed a pattern of selling cars behind customers backs and weaving a web of lies.It became evident that his primary focus was on closing deals, regardless of the ethical implications or the long-term satisfaction of the buyers. He even told me stories about overselling warranties to new customers.Moreover, Jesus demonstrated a blatant disregard for honesty. He would make promises to customers that he had no intention of keeping, Jesus is a far from a man he is a little boy. Pretty sure he lied to me about sending my application to a bank because he knew he would get more in commission by selling warranties I didnt want that he can convince other people to get.

I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for the best customer service and friendly staff. Jesus Arguello and Carlos Suarez were super friendly and helpful. Jesus made sure that we loved the car we wanted to buy/lease before we pulled our credit. He was able to show us SUVs that were in our price range and that would work best for what we were looking for. He was great at explaining everything and answering every question we had. I had such a great experience while buying my car, that I would definitely be coming back.

Went in for maintenance, tried 10 times 2 different dealerships to get a problem looked at. Finally had the issue happen and when I asked if it could be looked at the guy raised his voice and just said 190, 190, 190! I was confused then he said youre out of basic warranty and as well do it for $190. All he had to do was word it differently. I still wouldnt been upset nobody fixed it while it was under warranty, but I wouldnt feel like my question shouldve returned with an attack.

I had the most amazing experience yesterday at Selma Auto! Lupe is AMAZING! I loved working with her she is so kind, sweet patient and professional. Before coming in I spoke with her about the car I was looking for. When I arrived she was walking out to meet me with the key to a beautiful 2019 Ford Fusion. Everyone from Lupe, Isaiah, Aaron and Abel stayed way after closing to help me get down to a payment that was comfortable to me. There was no pressure, no gimmicks anything they were amazing to work with. They actually cared about me. Saw me as a person and not just a dollar sign. I highly recommend you check them out. They care about there customers and go the extra mile to make sure you leave with what you really want and comfortable payments. They are AMAZING!!

UPDATE: Like I said, at the end, the issue was no longer the trade in amount, the issue was we told them 10 different ways in 10 different languages that we didnt want to do it and they kept coming back with different offers and not the car keys which we asked for several times. If we werent so focused on trying to get the keys back then maybe we wouldnt have forgotten the registration. Which btw, you guys had lost at first and had to find it.If I could give them NO stars I would! They are completely unprofessional and know absolutely nothing about the cars they sell. My brother and I were actually educating the salesman on the 2 cars we were looking at because his answer every time when asked a question was Im not sure, Id have to check on that. It wasnt just him, we even were working with another salesman the week prior to our last visit who know absolutely nothing as well. Long story short, The first visit they kept telling us they have an issue in finance and would call us back when they figured it out and could get things going for us. They never called us back. Then my brother went looking for a car as well, and they wanted to offer him very little for his trade-in AND when we kept saying no to their deal and that the issue was because of what they were offering for the trade-in, its like they didnt care to hear us and kept asking us whats wrong with the payment and how can they fix it. We told them 20 different ways that the issue was not the payment but the amount offered on the trade-in, but they just kept ignoring what we were saying. Also when we tried to leave, they wouldnt give us our keys back and kept trying to push this deal on us that we said does not work for us. We didnt notice at the time because we were just so desperate to leave but they kept his registration to his vehicle. When he called the next day to let them know he was going by to pick it up, they told him they cant find it!!! Honestly the car we looked at was AMAZING, but we will not be buying anything from them because of their lack of professional service. If you go there good luck!

Used car purchase laden with landmines. Traveled 2.5 hours for a used car listed on their website.-Odometer reading on the car was 4000 higher than website advertised, not discovered until final signing. The frustrated sales manager attempted a red herring defense here by trying to argue the car is a good value, not addressing this intentional/unintentional deception. One day AFTER the sale, weve noticed the actual odometer reading on their website has been corrected to the true, 4000mi higher reading. Excuse was their manager had been driving this as their car. Great for them - keep your listing updated.-internet APR (off their own website) was less than half of what they were actually offering. Both the initial sales rep and floor manager were not aware the internet APR was not accurate and initial paperwork was drawn up with this low APR until it was later corrected by the sales/finance manager and increased more than 200%.-allegedly aftermarket Lojack had been installed on the car and an exorbitant price for it was tacked onto the sale but not listed in the sticker price on the website. After negotiating the add-on price away, we find now theres no evidence or documentation Lojack was *ever* installed in the car. If this was installed, the dealer failed to provide the installation card with the vehicle. This falls under either negligence or purposeful deception, its unclear which.-Navigation SD card was not included which renders navigation nonfunctional. Quick search reveals this is a common strategy dealerships may employ to claw back money to buy a new one. The cards are VIN-locked, no reason to remove them for resale unless theyre nonfunctional. Wasnt disclosed; unclear if negligent or purposefully deceptive.-Two badges were removed from the side of the car presumably by prior owner - residual glue residue was left on one side, small scratches on the other. We were told their detail people would fix this up. They did not.Havent specifically mentioned the usual dealer gamesmanship of low-balling your trade-in, attempting weak up-sales like the in-house limited warranty and dealer-installed add-ons otherwise, the let me check with our finance manager back-forth intended to wear you down over hours - but thats all there too and you should expect all of it. Positive mention for Tiffany, our initial sales rep, who was nice to speak with. Id suggest going elsewhere but if youre stuck here, be very, very, very clear and careful with all the fine details or I suspect theyll rake your wallet over the coals.Edit: dealer reached out and is providing the nav card free of charge.

I waited twenty minutes just to get checked on and then another fifteen minutes to get checked in. The service was an oil change and it took longer than most places (granted they did fit me in their v busy schedule—so naturally I’m thankful for that). If you can have someone follow you in a different vehicle and then have them take you wherever locally I would say that would make for the best experience (they do not have a shuttle service). All in all, it may have taken longer than I am used to, but the job did get done w/ minimal staff there and I’m grateful for their services! Just make sure you stop for food and drink beforehand bc a happy tummy will make for a happier mind.

Arjun helped us with the trade in and helped us find what we were looking for. We ended up buying the next day. When I bought my car which is a 2018 maxda3 touring edition I was lied to about my extended warranty. I was pressured into purchasing it and wasnt told that to use it I would have to pay $100. The leather in my seat has come unhooked twice, my leather is ripping on the stitching of the seat, a sensor turns on and off, and my tire sqeauls. The service manager was rude and would not help with explaining why most my problems were not covered. I took upon my self to talk to the sales manager who was useless. He lied to me like Im stupid. At that point I got up and walked out. I will never buy another vehicle from the Selma Auto Mall again. I will also tell everyone I know not to buy a car from them. Im tired of these places trying to rip everybody off and treating us like we are stupid.

Being listed as a True Car dealership, we wanted to explore a vehicle that was listed with a No Haggle Price.We were told by the salesman that the dealership will not pull credit score until an agreement is reached. Also, we were not allowed to keep or get copies of the negotiation paper work. We found out why later. Good thing we took pictures.The manager, Al, who probably shouldnt be in customer services. He was heated and upset throughout the entire process. Eventually, Al printed out a bill of sale that we agreed on. We concluded the negotiation.We asked for a lunch break for both parties to think it over. We then came back to seal the deal. Signed the bill of sale, shook hands, and the car was sent to be cleaned. I signed the credit application and my mobile credit app alerted me that there has been a hard inquiry. Then Al came back with a complete different quote. He told us he accidentally made a mistake during the quote. He said he gave us too much discount. He brought us new quote that specified either paying an additional 2,000 dollars or applying for an additional 2 percent apr over 60 months. The amount they wanted exceeded the No Hassle amount they listed on True Car for the exact same vehicle by almost 4,000 dollars.A honest mistake at this exact moment of sale? I dont think so.We explained it was the deal we reached together and we would like them to honor their word. I urged with them that now theres a hard pull on my credit score that will last for the next 2 years and affect any future purchases that requires a credit review. The manager said hes not losing 2,000 dollars on this sale. Eventually they called over the general manager, Leo. We explained what happened.He then asked if we even have proof of this said offer?Implying that the deal never existed. Stunned at how deceitful these people were. Then we pointed out that we do have proof because we snapped a photo of it. He then backtracked and apologize but told us, it is what it is. Not single ounce of integrity or dignity from that guy and how they conduct business. A disservice to the community.Below is list of what we encountered that will hopefully help any customers coming in here, though we recommend you save yourselves the headaches.1. Service Contract. It was on our bill of sale right from the beginning. It is nothing other than extended warranty. This was included without asking or given as an option for us. They were hoping itll slip by using a different terminology. They took this off when addressed.2. LoJack. Initially told us that its non-negotiable because its pre-installed. We looked it up, not true. Yes, theyre are LoJack ready but not activated. You pay for the activation if you so chose.They eventually took the LoJack off. So much for non-negotiable. If you want LoJack or GPS theft system. Speak to an independent LoJack servicer, Google a local installer, or get a similar product online for much cheaper.3. The follow were fees that we questioned.a. Doc fee. Told us its to pay the people in the back. Customer should not have to pay this as an additional fee. They took this off when addressed.b. Delivery Fee. Anything other then the destination fee listed on the window sticker by the manufacturer should not be buyers responsibility, we also looked this up prior.c. We double checked they calculated State requirements correctly by using the dmv calculator online. This is how we discovered dealer add-ons that were lumped in, which were not disclosed to us.4. Dealer Add-ons. When asked for an itemized list. We found they added on a tow hitch and wheel locks. Gave us a bunch of explanation that the corporation mandates they sell it with wheel locks. Not true. Asked them to remove it.Final NoteI can only speak for my own experience at Selma Mazda, not the entire Auto Mall. There are dealerships that do honest work. This is not one of them. Remember that as a customer, you can walk away anytime. Never come in desperate and never come in uninformed of possible dealer scams. Best of luck.

Larry the Mazda service supervisor is a joke, he brought us out last Wednesday to have work done ensuring they had the parts we got there they took our car back wouldnt provide a loaner we walked to jack in the box they called and said they actually did not have the parts we came back got our car and he still requested the check from me, I refused. He called yesterday insured they had the parts and a loaner vehicle and for us to come down today we have been here since 830 (current time 957) they dont have a loaner sent us to enterprise and said they would take care of the bill. Since we dont have a credit card enterprise wont provide a car. We were left outside enterprise for 2&1/2 hrs before they sent a shuttle to pick us up and take us home, leaving us with no car to pick up my oldest two kids from school Larry boss rob stuck with him and basically said Im just sol and robs boss wont take my call, horrible people horrible customer service the only reason I was able to get any phone numbers for higher up authority was curtosy of the shuttle driver. Drive the extra few mins to fresno!

I also felt as if there was some pressure to upsell me on other features I may not have needed.I did go for the service plan and while Larry is helpful, he and his staff are usually busy and theres almost always a 1-2 week wait when it comes to routine maintenance visits.Here are some tips:The phone tree system at the Selma Auto Mall is too complicated for something that should be so simple. Please simplify your phone system or make it clear how to find a specific dept on your website so that future customers can find the right person when neededService and customer respect applies to anyone at the dealership. This applies to the owner of the place and not just the guys who are trying to sell you a carHire some more service staff and decrease the wait times for maintenance and repairsHave a great day
