If I could give no stars I would. Came in for an oil change and when I got home my car was leaking oil. Should have just done the oil change myself but wanted some type of convenience. Now I have to take another 2 hours to get this fixed. Don’t take your car here!

Cesar in Service was so efficient, considerate, and professional. He really helped me out with my car’s AC issue, he made sure I was taken care of and that it was done promptly and most cost effective to the customer. In the future I will ask to work with Cesar again, I know he will do his best to get me taken care of.

Went in to get some numbers/pricing for a new vehicle. The salesman that caught us spent most of the time on his cell phone for personal matters. It was a lot of back and forth from the office while we sat waiting at the desk. All I wanted was to get a basic run down of prices/rates/finance cost. Each time they came back they tried to pressure me to finance with them even though I clearly stated I would use my own bank and all I wanted was a purchase order. They did not give us a warm and fuzzy experience and we just got out of there as fast as we could.

Terrible service. We took it in on Thursday was told it would be a couple hour job, ended up taking them until Monday. The service guy over our vehicle told us it for sure would be done by 9 on Monday morning and it wasnt. We still had to pay full price, then they told us it may mess up again soon and put lots of pressure on us to do more to fix it. We called the honda service guys and he hung up on my husband while he was still talking. Terrible service, was told it was done and then got there to get it and it wasnt done. So they had to take it back and fix it while we waited again. The price was very high and they nagged us to spend more. So what was a 2 hour job turned into a 4 day job. We will never be back and we will be talking to management looking for some kind of discount due to their terrible service and their failure to get it done when they said. As our only vehicle it was difficult to go so long without our vehicle. I do not recommend. Terrible service and speed, I thought a dealership would be better, but worst mechanic and fix it we have ever had to use!

Best place to purchase a brand NEW car! Off the back the customer service we got was great. We were able to speak to a Salesman who spoke Spanish and that made us comfortable from the start! Our family loves Honda and it was time to upgrade from a 2013 to a 2022. Jose Castro was our Salesmen and he was AMAZING! Jose was very professional and had a lot patience with us when we were going back and forth in what type of Honda we wanted. We were very admit in not wanting a Hybrid car at first. However, Jose showed us a Hybrid option and we fell in love with it! Safe to say that sometimes a Salesman knows best for you, in this case Jose was looking out for us. If you are looking into purchasing a new car I HIGHLY recommended Selma Honda. I had a dreadful experience at SELMA HONDA recently. The manager treated us with utter disrespect and refused to provide even the basic level of customer service. Despite our inquiries and concerns, the manager displayed a dismissive attitude and seemed uninterested in addressing our needs. The lack of professionalism and courtesy left a bitter taste, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this establishment. I would strongly advise against patronizing Selma Honda if you value respectful treatment and decent service.

The service team scheduled me for a 10:30am appointment, I get there wait 40 minutes to be attended to be told I have to give them a window of 2 hours that starts at noon, so basically a 3 hour window only to see what the issue is. They overbooked and now the only options is to re-book or wait. They promised a shuttle if I ever needed one well they didnt mention Saturdays no shuttle service is available. Waste of a morning. Dont book on Saturdays. I will be going to another Honda dealership for Service.

My Honda hatch back I bought from them has a cluster of safety features that are compromised and yes bought the car new and came like that, which the dealership refuses to fix despite it happening multiple times. On top of that the dealers promise and stated false information and deals that were never added in fact I’m now paying more because they did a totally different deal than what THEY said they were giving me. I love their costumer service. I bought my Honda in 2013 and I loved the whole experience, plus I visit them for my car service. Very honest staff and the really own the promise of getting a free oil changed after I pay for 6 oil changes. The always washed my car as a courtesy service. Great waiting area with amenities included.

Scammers, bought a car it caught on fire the first year I had it. Then got a 2019 Civic with the extended warranty then when I brought it in it was 175$ to look at it for EACH PROBLEM. 175 to look at my windshield fluid spray. 175 to look my power outlet in the car. Rubber seal for the windows 175$ to look at. Horrible experience here. And they charge 175 each hour of work they do.

The worst customer service I have had anywhere. I would give them no stars if there was an option to do so. The service department here is not competent to work on non-honda cars. The service manager there is very rude and lacks any and all manners how to treat a customer.I called them on Tuesday May 9th 2017 to get a price quote for an oil change. The person said he would call me back. He left a message with a price of around $75. So I went to them that afternoon but they were busy so I scheduled one for the next morning. While I was there he gave me a quote for $58. I signed the paperwork and he said they would call me once it was done. I also asked them to check the air filter as well. As more time elapsed and I had not heard from them, I called them back that afternoon to see what the status was. He said they had not started yet as they were trying to get a hold of me on the phone. I never received any calls from them BTW. He said they had not started because there was a price discrepancy and the total now would be $71.99. I agreed to the change.An hour later he called me to say they were done. I asked him again if they reset the service interval notice on the car and he said they did. After paying the cashier and started my car, I noticed that the service interval was still on. I asked them to reset it and they said they already had. After going back and forth with another service rep, who gave me many bogus reasons about how that was normal, I asked to speak with a manager. As they realized that they could not do this service, they asked me to take my car to an audi dealer. I told them this was going to cost me additional and wondered why they did not tell me this in the first place and that the dealership was not equipped with tools to work on an audi. The manager initially told the rep to give me partial credit and then rudely changed his mind. He said I was being rude to the people there, just because I was trying to explain that what they were saying was incorrect and that the service interval warning should be reset after an oil change. He later told the rep You know what, dont even give him any credit. Just give him his keys and get him OUT of here!When I asked the manager for his business card, he said NO! He said to call the owner of the dealership if I wanted to talk to someone higher in rank than him.Notes to the dealership:If you are going to work on cars that have an onboard computer, then please get a VAGCOM diagnostic tool so you can take care of simple resets like the one my car needed. It is fairly inexpensive.If you are incapable of working on cars other than Honda, then be upfront about it.And if you are going to be rude to customers who spend their money at your establishment, dont take their business and chase them out of there unsatisfied.Notes to the service manager:You are a service industry. And these days, a bad review will cost your business money when you dont treat your customers right.Also, check the attached photo of your service receipt. I went in and traded in a car. Everything was going well. I thought I had a great deal. I’ve purchased many cars before and was expecting the finance department to try and sell me all the add on like they always do and was so surprised when the guy didn’t suggest anything. We were told our car came with a low jack included. Upon asking him if it was included in the car price he said yes. We signed everything and went home with a USB obtaining the sales contract. I read it the next day and realized they added 2 optional add ons without fully disclosing anything to us. I called the over and and over. Left a voicemails and messages and NEVER received a call back,and finally got a hold of the finance manager Kevin. I asked him to please void those 2 add ons because I didn’t want them and was not asked if I wanted them. He was rude, condescending and sarcastic. I will never purchase from them again and I urge you guys to read everything on that contract before you leave that store. I am filing an oficial complain. With California consumer affairs at this point since no one helped me.

Got charged 200 to run a diagnostic check for my Honda’s trunk that wouldn’t open. They got the trunk open but we’re not able to tell me what caused the trunk to not open and suggested to replace the latch though they were not able to definitely say that the latch was broken or needed repair. Staff was kind but doesn’t feel right to be charged for a diagnostic and not get a diagnosis other than a “the trunk is now open” type of response and on top of that to be suggested to replace a part that they could not definitely say was broken or needed to be replaced. The whole experience just didn’t feel like honest work.

I came to get my battery health checked and an oil change. They did the oil change, but did not check the battery health even though they claimed they DID check. My car died on the side of the road the day after, battery completely wasted after being told it was “healthy.” This isn’t the first time they’ve lied about checking a specific issue on my car. I refuse to bring my car here for maintenance and repairs after realizing they don’t really care for their customer’s safety and business. Honda Clovis North treats their customers with more care.

They lied about the MSRP of the vehicle and then stated the add-ons were mandatory because they were already on the car. Why should I pay for something that they did of their own volition? First, they said they do it to all cars then the sales manager said they only did it to that specific one because it’s a “show car”. to make those add-ons mandatory is against the law. They couldn’t even get their story straight amongst each other when i came to them with these issues. When I came to buy the car I tried to walk out numerous times because i didnt want to pay for something I didnt want but they were extremely persistent in the worst way. The car I bought may be very nice but I would avoid this place, simply because there are dealerships out there that are honest. Those are the dealerships you should do business with.

I have 12 new inquiries on my credit which dropped my credit score and they had the nerve to try to get me to lease a Honda pilot. I was looking at a full size suburban. And before you try to respond saying my credit wasn’t that good just know that navy federal approved me for $35k.

Came 7:55am told my car will be in the shop right away for repair. It was baking under the sun from 8am to 11:30am. Went in their shop 11:31am. Yes i track my car. I was told to make the schedule early to get the repair done as car need to be in the shop early the reason why I have 8am appointment. All lies. Zero point bringing it in early. Wasted waking up early. Will not recommend this service location.

Let me start off by thanking Cesar Mares and the service department at Selma Honda for going above and beyond to help me with a problem I was having with my 19 accord. They stand by their warranty and did an amazing job. I purchased my accord at Selma Honda with the 20 Year/200K mile warranty a couple years ago and I totally forgot that I had the warranty there. There was a weird noise in my wheel well so I went in yesterday for a diagnostic on a problem that I was pretty sure on but couldnt tell for sure. They were able to diagnose it and let me know that it was the issue I told them about and also told me the warranty covered it. Came back in today and they fixed the issue and the noise was gone as well as fix another issue that another Honda dealership didnt try as well to fix. So if youre looking for a service department that does the job right and will help you anyway they can, go to these guys. Wont be going to any other Honda service department other than Selma Honda from now on.

The service gentleman was brief and assured me that it would only be about 30/40 minutes. Waited in the lobby and able to enjoy a warm cup of cocoa! I got prequalified through capital one financing. I saw a car online that it was advertised through Selma Honda for $25k and it said “Dealer Advertised Price” I talked to Cody Internet Sales Manager he said to come in. I came in on the weekend, he was busy with some other clients so he had some other sales person come show us the car. Well after giving him the vin of that car, it was sold. The sales person told me I was able to buy a civic and they were going to contact me when it got here. Well I had a picture of the pre approval and how much my payment was going to be for a 25k car. One thing they don’t tell you until you get to the dealership is of course is the “dealership mark up” for an extra $5k since there’s a shortage going on. I understand completely but I wish I could have known prior to coming into the dealership. Online it says the car was advertised for 25K. Not professional from a business at all. Not only that but also they told me they couldn’t work with my bank due to high APR, more like they didn’t want to work with me since there wasn’t going to be any commission for them. I won’t be coming back again . Horrible experience!!

Typical salesmen trap... I really want to believe that one day sales at these national dealership will do business with integrity. But I must be dreaming. I went in to buy a car for my daughter. What ever we said was our buying points. He came back with the same. Not even better. So we didnt buy. When I got home I learned I could buy the car with 2000 less down payment. As we were looking into buying a Honda Civic we decided to give Selma Honda a try considering they had great reviews online. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t the greatest! We were greeted by a salesman who didn’t introduce himself, told us that we would have to take the car out for a test drive alone, and after that brought us into his office and was going to run my credit without even asking of my approval. Never once tried to negotiate after the fact I told him I wasn’t wanting to run my credit. His sales manager who also failed to introduce himself as well explained to us that if we weren’t looking to buy that same day the deals couldn’t be made. He broke down some numbers and explained why leasing would’ve been an option for me without even knowing my income or credit score. We felt very discouraged as that was the first place we visited on our venture of buying a new car. I understand that there are certain precautions that need to be taken due to this covid pandemic but they at least could have been more welcoming with better customer service.I’m glad to say we took our business the next day to Visalia Honda and now we are OWNERS of a brand new 2020 Honda Civic!!!

This establishment is very deceiving & manipulative. All they care about is making the sale by any means, whether it’s good for the customer or not. Me & my wife went there with high hopes of financing or leasing a vehicle & although they were nice & seemed trustworthy, they lied to us about many things. They told us that they weren’t going to run a credit check until we were further into the process but after visiting another dealership we were informed that not only did they run a credit check but they also sent out our credit information to every bank in their systems & it hurt our credit scores tremendously. Mind you we were just shopping around for the time being & not actually trying to purchase a car just yet. They also lied about our credit scores & said we had lower scores than we actually did & tried to say that was the reason they couldn’t get us a better deal. I would not recommend this dealership if you want a salesman who you can really trust & who’ll have your best interest.

I was no longer a priority, I never got called to schedule an appointment for an extra accessory I had paid for. Not until I called 5 times did I finally get an appointment for it almost 2 weeks after I got the car. They were very courteous and helpful, the night we bought my car they stayed way past closing time to finish the deal and show me all the different features in the car patiently. When we had an issue with the car, they took me right away and arranged for a rental fully paid on the spot. The service manager was very courteous and professional, he took care of our concerns and even threw in a set of Honda leather mats for the car. They gave us an amazing discount when the car had just been released and none of the other dealers would, we called dealers in Las Vegas (where I got my last Odyssey) and Huntington Beach, they were the most competitive. Today I visited Selma Service department to have my vehicle inspected for a vibration. As I met with the service advisor I informed him I had a scheduled appointment for 8am and I would be leaving the vehicle. He informed me they only perform oil changes on weekends, So I asked what the purpose of an appointment was my vehicle was less than 3 months old and vibration had started just a few weeks after purchase, his reply why did you call sooner, I explained I did but appointment we’re 4 to 5 weeks out, he indicated it was probably the brakes and it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Now If I want to drop off the vehicle he couldn’t make any promises whatever that means. So now we diagnose vehicles without actually inspecting them and make the assumption that whatever it is it’s not covered.Selma Honda -this is the second issue with your dealership first with your sales department losing my spare key and making a half a dozen calls to resolve that issue and now with your service department who could care less about the issue who first says they can’t do anything to ok maybe but know promisesI travel 70 miles total to go to your location today not to mention my second car who was my ride back. 140 miles traveled for absolutely nothing to be treated as if I was there for something for free. You lost a customer today. Your service department lacks the basic 101 skills on how to treat a customer.Paul Padilla

My car cash value was 9300 and this place wanted to only give me 7000. Said hood had been repainted.. BS... A long list of issues from sales, service to management. My latest encounter has to do with the battery which has a 100 month limited warranty. I understand that at some point i would pay for a new one after the determination of usage. Example: if i have used 30 months, it should be prorated from there.But no! Selma Honda service guy told me he would not honor the supposedly warranty. I advised him i would call Honda because its their name on the battery. He proceeds to tell me, No problem.Thank you but i decided to purchase another battery from another store. FYI: the battery is 100 month battery tagged with the year July 2018.

Bought a vehicle from them...salemen was good and very understanding was able to workout a deal but need a down payment, they told me that if i come back in a couple days they can still offer me the same deal just not pass a week or it will change...couple days after i got the money went back and they told me a different story, run my credit again, gave me a different price, payment, my trade value dropped, and that i need more down. Luckily i still got the paper that they got for me, plus attitude to get that promise they gave me. Once after the papers are completed, i couldnt give them the money, they wanted too checks to hold instead of the money. I advised them that if they hold the check it might not go through cause i had several other loans that automatic pull and if they do pull on a day that the other loans pull it will bounce. Finance department just say well make sure i have money in it. Next i needed to add the vehicle to my insurance, called them to get the lender address and name so i can complete the insurance process, all i get was transfers to people and voicemail. Never got a call back or my questions answered. Overall very bad customer service from the departments. Sales people are great, well work with you so you will buy the car. I like the guy we got he was nice friendly and really helpful and we had the right price and ready to go until the manger and finance guys showed up and bumped up my price way up for some warranty they said we needed to get but didnt need and after we told him no 4 times that we did not want it, we just wanted what was the price we had agreed. They said they couldnt do it beacuse we had to get it to drive off the dealer could smell B.S . So wont be going there again.

My wife and I needed a car ASAP due to some unforeseen circumstances with our primary vehicle. Spoke with several sales associates at Selma and didn’t really receive an incentive to make the trip to Selma. They just said “we will make you a deal”, so I made an appointment for the following Tuesday. We ended up buying a car that day from Honda North in Fresno/Clovis due to the fact that they literally gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse over the phone, so I bought from them. Just received a call from Cody from Selma Honda and he became rude when I told him I already bought a car from Honda North, and hung up on me while slamming the phone. So, just wanted to let people know that these kinds of business practices are a reflection of the integrity and honesty of an organization and I personally prefer to buy things from sales people with character, respect, and class. That’s what I found at Honda North, and they bent over backwards to make the car I wanted fit my budget.

And Mr mark carrian said it will be in 33k-35k but here i come he is not here and Mr cody said around 40k. So they just wasted my time and my gas i drove from madera 1 hour.
