I will not be returning to this location ever again. This is a one and done. A couple of red flags to mention. You cant communicate with this business unless its over text message and email (No Calling, who does business like this ?), they changed my location less than an hour before my appointment time via text while I was driving (not even a courtesy call) (I booked their West Los Angeles location but was moved to Burbank), the reader was 7 mins late to the appointment however, he was actually the best part of this whole experience after he warned me that his own employer is Stingy (his words, huge red flag) and lastly they doubled the price of my session without warning. Keep in mind their website is extremely difficult to maneuver. You would think that on a holiday their messaging would be crystal clear about a price increase. There was no warning upon booking and in fact, I received multiple emails confirming the normal price quotes. Then when I was invoiced and I explained my confusion over the major price hike, I was met with resistance and hostility. (Similar to the negative responses you see from them on this review site) You would think that they would try to help a first time client and sympathize with them, that maybe it was human error... but no. I am hesitant to write this review because they have displayed aggressive and unprofessional behavior towards anyone that writes a bad review, going as far as to threaten their careers. However, Im still so agitated by what happened that I want to protect fellow actors from spending their money on this type of business. To anyone that reads this, its better to record yourself on tape than to go to these guys.

Creation Station Studios was an amazing find!! I was looking for a company to do a self tape audition for me. There were many options to chose from & I didnt know who to go with. I came across Creation Station online and I saw they had a studio in West Hollywood. They charge only $1 a minute!! I had a short scene and thought it would be a good opportunity to try them out to see how they were before using them for bigger auditions. They were amazing!! Kevin was nice and very professional. He quickly framed the shot and we ran the scene before rolling camera. He let me check out takes and pick the best one. The picture & sound were excellent and the quality is perfect. Although I booked for 15 minutes, we got the right take after 10 minutes and he didnt try to milk out to charge me for the full time, which was great. I have used other similar services in the past and nothing comes close. I cant wait to hire them again for future self taped auditions!!

When I go to Los Angeles and have to do an audition, creation station is the place to go. It’s reasonably priced, and it has really great readers!! And the lighting is so good… It makes me look good and that’s fantastic in my book lol.

An absolute gem/diamond/amazing place! These folks really know their stuff and the self tape quality is fantastic. Once you come here its impossible to self tape at home again. The process is smooth, comfortable, and the environment is fun and creative. Kevin is THE MAN when i comes to coaching (definitely worth it if you can swing the bump up). Parking across the street is $5.00-$8.00 flat and there is metered parking. -- The facilities are modern, sleek, clean, and the staff is all extremely professional. I will be coming here and referring some peeps for sure!

If you need a super high quality audition tape with awesome lighting, sound, and readers, then, this is your spot! Ive been a customer for years and have not been disappointed. You can choose times as low as 10 minutes and up. Theyre really patient and helpful and youre sure to have a great experience!

Did my first self-tape here today and it was a great experience!I had the 30 min slot booked and it was more than plenty of time because my reader (MATT McGEE) was an absolute pro. He was on time, professional and an expert. The studio was clean and their equipment was top of the line.You want high quality self tapes - this is the place.

I had the most bizarre and unprofessional experience this morning with the manager, Chris. So much so that I decided to cancel my appointment.I was unable to find where to submit my sides on their website, via my iPhone. I sent the studio a text to ask for their assitance. Received something along the lines of “It’s in the confirmation email and on the top of the website.”I tried two different browsers on my iPhone and could not find this tab at the top of their website. I was able to go back to the confirmation email and copy and paste the link to submit my sides.I let the manager know that I was able to figure it out but that there was not a spot at the top of their website on iPhone anyway, that I had to manually copy and paste the link to get where I needed to be. I thought he might want to be aware for future clients.Conversation should have and would have ended there with a normal/professional person. But rather, this person continued to send passive aggressive screen shots from his non-iPhone (green text messages) to prove to me that there was in fact a spot at the top of the website on a mobile phone.This is the morning of my audition, and I really don’t need to have a petty back and forth with the manager. I want to focus on my audition. The petty texts ensued and it was the strangest interaction I have ever had with someone providing a service. As any actor can attest to, you kind of want a good vibe going when you go in for a read. This was not that!Yikes.

Self-Tape West Hollywood is the best self-tape studio Ive gone to in LA. Incredible coaching, and save the day with last minute self-tapes. They are extremely committed and get the best work out of you for your auditions. They are the BEST and even work off hours! 3 studios!!! They are STARS!! Xoxox

This is one of my favorite places in LA to get a selftape done. The people are friendly and are always professional when you go into the room. They want to know all the details in order to give you the most efficient tape for your time and money. If you need something in a rush they work hard to get it to you without compromising quality. Always have a positive experience when I film here for a selftape.

A great experience. I was near the NOHO Location and it was all booked up, as I was booking last minute. I hopped the train and bus to the West Hollywood location, signed up for time when I got there. Recorded for 25 minutes. Paid and dipped. I had the edited cut in my e-mail inbox 10 minutes after leaving. Great quality tape!
