Albert is an outstanding recruiter. I enjoyed working with him because he is both professional and diligent in his efforts to support a candidate within the job search. He is also genuine and direct, while being clear with the next steps. In the past, I have worked with a lot of agencies as an employer. I want to do a review on Select Staffing. I had an interview today, they were very prompt with responding to me, I went in and did my paperwork. The atmosphere and the ladies who were working in the atmosphere at that time were very professional and pleasant and I enjoyed myself all the way around. The one who was working with me, was very pleasant, professional and helpful to me with the questions that I asked and I would recommend their service to anyone who is looking for employment. Applied today. Received a text saying they would love to connect and to call them. I call them, I get someone who is clearly not in CA. They asked for my number to pull up my application and then asked me why I called. When I mentioned the text, she says yep thats right just verify your address for me and then I can help you. I do that, she then ask again why i am calling. I tell her I applied for a specific position in oakland and received a text to call. She then tells me that she has to place me on hold, then comes back and says she needs to verify before setting my interview appointment. She then asks me questions about fork lift experience, warehouse etc which were irrelevant to the position (receptionist at med office in oakland). I ended the call and wished them well. Ridiculous

Better pay then any other agency. Flexible hours. Great opportunities and it is nice to know they will get you working essentially fast. Sometimes it is hard to communicate with agents here; however, on the contrary you got to want it to get the things you want and to do this you have to earn it.it all boils down to respect. Because Bad attitudes will not be your best image ever ANYWHERE. So keep up the hard work and be nice, have fun and set your goals up stay focused on your goals and just believe in yourself.Godspeed everyone.

I did accordingly to the agency information regarding the online applicationI was confirmed for interview over the phone and by e-mail I was told to expect a call within 60 minute window of my schedule interview. It never happen I called them I was given another interview 2nd - it didnt happen they never call. I called them again I was told by the lady that answer the phone to make sure I was not blocking the call to make sure I didnt missed the call even when she told me herself that she knew I didnt received a interview call. She was a bit rude but still I requested ANOTHER interview the 3rd.Same thing I was confirm over the phone and e-mail of my interview with Select Staffing.They never call....but never the less I called them. It seems they dont know why I didnt get the interview they dont KNOW but they offer to give another interview. wow!!!!

What a waste of time and money! They advertised for jobs that were not available! Even scheduled an interview only to be told, WE DONT HAVE ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, ITS SLOW! I couldve stayed home! Why schedule an interview for no work?

Worked through select staffing for 11 months and got fired for using the web portal to let them know I was sick! The little details, you have to use Google Chrome and the desktop site to do so!Waisted 11 months working at a dead in job where the company actually had me training new recruits as porters while I was still a temp!Refered 3 people that passed the probation period and never got paid!Worst part about this whole situation is the part about hearing it doesnt matter if you worked for 11 months or 3 years! Who in they right mind would work as a temp at the same place for 3 years?Like I told the managers before I got sick I felt I was at a dead end job and they offered me a permanent position. Next day I got sick missed 5 days and got fired as a no call no show! Obviously the web portal doesnt work!As long as select is getting paid double of what you make they are happy, but let something happen and they toss you like trash!

I had the bworst experience Ive ever had. I was looking for a forklift position that paid 17-18hr and this recruiter named Anthony in the Emeryville ca office called me and said they had a position open .I ask him what was the pay, he said $18.35hr and I ask if it was a forklift position, he said yes.i called to confirm two more times and he confirmed both other times .I got all the Way to the job for them to tell me the job was not a forklift position and it was for $15hr .I turned it down and walked Was going to take anything he gave me and just shut up,wrong! Then the coprate office or someone from the branch kept giving me the run around,not caring
