I would highly recommend Seikos for your automotive repair needs. I have been bringing my 2016 Subaru Outback to them since my dealership warranty ran out. Service is always prompt, professional and repairs and maintenance are always explained and they provide before and after pictures of the work done. I plan on keeping my Outback for many years and will continue to bring it to Seikos. My 2016 Outback has over 210,000 miles, I drive a lot and have always taken care of my vehicles with regular maintenance. I wont be taking my car anywhere else but Seikos. Ive had two major repairs at Seikos in the last 6 months (Interspersed with short notice checkups which they always accommodated quickly). Each time, with 100% transparency, they provide a clear diagnosis, list of probable causes, breakdown of solution(s) from high priority to lower priority.Ive gone with their recommendation both times and my car has never driven better. Im no longer concerned about finding an honest repair shop that will take care of my vehicle. The peace of mind and customer service are 100% worth every dollar. Im not happy spending money, but if I were to spend it anywhere Ill gladly to do it here. I will never hesitate recommending Seikos repair shop.

First time coming to this place. It was easy to access, friendly staff, and detailed service. I do like the communication through the whole process, with detailed images, and letting me know when my car was ready for pickup. Initially came for an oil change and tire rotation. Like all auto places, those extra services suggested is never anything you want to hear. The price is on the higher-end than other auto places, but I needed convenience of somewhere close to walking distance. Id like to continue to use their services and see how my next experience will be.

Quality business. These guys go through your car in detail and are crystal clear with what issues there may be along with pics and prices describing the job that needs to be done. They even told me that certain work should be done at the dealer as my car is still under warranty. Sergio and the lady (sorry forgot her name) that greeted me were very polite and informative. I’ll keep coming back here for future maintenance on my Lexus RC 300. Also, the garage is super clean and organized.

Seikos auto service is higher in price but Id rather pay for good and thorough service. My warranty ran out about 2 yrs ago and come to find out that seikos auto service revealed a lot of short cuts the dealer mechanics were doing. So my experience with using seikos auto service is by far top notch in service and materials. Thanks again Seiko my car really runs 100% smoother and better. (like new again!!!!) Today was my second time experiencing Seiko’s Auto Services and it was just as great as the first time ! They have amazing customer service, very professional, knowledgeable and their work is extremely detailed. I first took in my 2013 Subaru BRZ for a comprehensive visual inspection and then was given an online checklist of services my car needs from high priority to low. Today I scratched off two of the high priority services my Subaru BRZ needed which were the clutch and brake fluid change (they had over 3% moisture in the fluids). I highly recommend Seiko’s Auto Services for your vehicle services and repairs.

Seikos Auto Service has the absolute best cusomer service. This was my first time bringing my STi here for a normal service and not only was Seiko and the team great, but they were very informative with everything before/after doing a full inspection. Sergio was especially great! He gave me a full run down of everything they’d be doing and answered any questions I had. He was honest and transparent when he gave me the full rundown after and made me feel super welcomed. It may have been my first time coming here but it definitely won’t be my last. Seiko and his team are awesome! They are always on top of updating me on the status of my Lexus RX350 car. They are honest and upfront about what should be serviced or not. I like the detailed line by line online system they use to track the maintenance priorities for my car, and appreciate that they spend the time to talk through each one so I never feel like I’m getting taken advantage of. What a very thorough, amazing place!!! I love how they check everything, take a photo of what theyve looked at, if it needs repair they break down what needs to be replaced and the costs and everything is sectioned so you decide what you would like repaired and what you want to skip and they also rate it to tell you how urgent the part needs repairing or of its still decent, etc.. Also they gave me a loaner car!!! Who DOES that aside from the high end overpriced car dealers?? Everyone was very nice and helpful and I trust their work. My brother took our parents car there a few months ago. I recommend Seiko’s. I dont live closeby but its well worth the drive. Ive been to too many other mediocre mechanics and these guys set the bar at the top and use high quality parts. They have an immaculate garage so you know you arent getting used or refurbished parts and nothing is getting mixed up with other things that are laying around etc

Just wanted to update this review in May 2024 to say I still take my car here for regular service work and repairs and I am still thrilled with the service!Original review:After a lot of drama with a leaking radiator, a seized engine, and more, I finally ended up at Seikos and my car probelms have finally ended. They have excellent communication, provide before and after photos, emailed detailed estimates and information on work that needs to be done versus what could wait until later, and theyre quick. By far the best experience Ive had with any mechanic and I dont plan on bringing my subaru anywhere else but Seikos going forward.

I like using Seikos Auto Service because theyre a small business, and they really know their customers well. Seiko, Cody, and Sergio are always so friendly and helpful. I like their new electronic estimate system that shows you photos of what they find when they inspect your car. This will definitely be my new mechanic! Seikos was able to give me information about a couple of issues my Subaru was having that another mechanic blew off. They gave me advice on what needed replaced now and what could wait. Sergio was great at keeping me in the loop and following up. Seiko’s Auto Service performed a comprehensive 50,000 mile evaluation of my 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback, as well as an oil change. Sergio was very responsive, informative and professional throughout the process and was up front about which services were more urgent than others. My wife brought her 2010 Corolla in for a similar service last year and our experience was the same. I appreciate the before/after photos they provide. Highly recommend this place for auto repairs and maintenance.

This review is probably long overdue. I first started coming to Seiko in 2015 for service on my 2014 Toyota Scion FRS. I later brought to him my first 2005 Toyota Sequoia for major maintenance work and standard maintenance. He now services and maintains my other 2005 Toyota Sequoia LTD Ed. and most recently services and maintains our 2009 Toyota Corolla. Being a former mechanic myself, I have a basic understanding of my vehicle maintenance issues. However, if I were a layman, Seiko and his team do an outstanding job of explaining all the reasons for any suggested repairs. They go out of their way to make sure I completely understand the process. They even retain most of the removed damaged/worn parts to show me after repairs have been completed. They provide photos along with the estimate which is quite impressive and beyond anything I have ever seen before. To say that I trust them is an understatement. You cant put a price on quality work that you can trust.

I went in with a problem with my ignition not turning off completely. Seiko ran a diagnostic and discovered that my issue was not electrical, but mechanical. Things were done and the problem is now fixed. Extremely happy with the explanation and work done. Highly recommend this shop for repairs. Trust is the biggest issue to me and not being deceived or ripped off with unnecessary repairs. A bit more expensive but Seiko told me that he uses ONLY OEM parts. I will always pay more with the assurance that repairs are done correctly with the OEM parts.

Obtained a referral from a friend who had his Prius regularly serviced at Seikos Auto Service -- all the praise the friend expressed were evident from walking into the clean shop, meeting with Seiko and discussions with him what I needed to have done, to picking up the car upon completion of service.After an initial inspection, he listed all of the issues that were found:(timing belt, fluids, inverter and engine cooling systems, spark plugs, shocks as maintenance, brakes/rotors, steering intermediate shaft, and even light bulbs as repair); and after a no-pressure discussion of the priorities and outcomes, I agreed to a good number of the proposed service items.Disclaimer: Ive been working on my own vehicles since the 1980s ranging from simple maintenance to engine swaps, chassis swaps, and the occasional engine and transmission rebuilds, so Im not exactly easy to scam in this regard. My BS meter never went off when speaking with Seiko and even with a discussion about midway through the agreed service when I asked about additional service, after about an hour of researching the parts, availability, and prices, he gave me a frank explanation that the service was likely unneeded at the time for the cost, thus service declined at his recommendation.Seiko also resolved a long standing problem Ive had with the car (2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited) since I first got it used in 2013 -- it had a vibration in the steering at highway speeds and a rattle at times when hitting street ruts. His experience and knowledge of the Highlander sharing a basic platform with the Camry led him to research a Camry updated part (the aforementioned Steering Intermediate Shaft) which had an analog for the Highlander, ultimately curing the problem. The Toyota dealer I last visited either did not know this or did not care to research it and several tire shops did not investigate further after simply balancing the wheels/tires. Big points scored here for Seiko.Updates provided via phone calls, text messages with photos, and email were much appreciated -- folks of all kinds should be able to get the updates they need in the in which manner they are most comfortable.Pricing is fair, however, my opinion is that I got more than my moneys worth, and in surveying other reviews, most customers seemed to have the same feeling.Car was ready as promised (dropped off Tuesday afternoon, ready Friday at noon).Props to Cody as well, he and Seiko make for a very competent team.In a nutshell, I would most definitely do business with Seikos Auto Service again.

Great and transparent shop!They Diagnosed my hybrid car and let me know about an extended warranty that was still valid on my car that I had no idea about and would have never known. They could have just fixed themselves and made money. Instead they recommended taking it to the local dealer and issue is being solved at dealer at no cost to me. They saved me thousands of dollars!

10/16/21: Thoroughly explained recommended services with before pictures (i.e., used brake fluid and transmission fluid colors), and provided detailed after pictures (showing exactly what work was done) via phone call and text message with a link, so that I could review and approve the charges from home. Also explained what was checked and not recommended for repair at this time. Clean and safe loaner car. Constant updates on the car repairs progress throughout the day. Car was ready when promised. Highly recommended and I will definitely return here again.Update 10/12/23: Id give ten stars if I could. I had replaced a dead battery and thought the alternator was fine after AAA told me it was; two days later a battery icon popped up on my dash, and Seikos was able to fit me into their extremely busy schedule on ten minutes notice, diagnose my issue, and confirm that my charging system wasnt working due to the alternator. If it wasnt for their willingness to help me on a packed day, I wouldve driven this car with my kids and potentially stalled on the freeway at night with no system or battery power. Instead I parked it safely, got it properly repaired the next day, and avoided something a lot worse than a car repair. Thank you guys!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Sergio and Seiko. Both were very easy to work with, patient, and thorough. They made a list and went through all the details of what services were needed and NOT needed with the car. The entire process was very pleasant and I never once felt like they were pressuring me to do other services that werent needed like some other shops. They also took the time to address a couple of items that werent part of my to-do list for free.I work nearby so it was great that they were able to drop me off. Ive had extensive work done here, including having my engine replaced for which they provided a loaner vehicle for the period of time they were working on it, and that saved me a lot of money on not having to get a rental car. They are extremely organized and thorough. They are tech savvy, maintain a great online presence and provide internet reminders of work that needs to be done. They are experts at what they do, well-trained, personable, communicate well and explain what theyre doing and why it needs to be done. I went to Seiko’s Auto Service on recommendation from a family friend when my car was acting up. They performed a full check of the vehicle and talked me through everything they recommended over the phone. They also use an online system, which is super handy, and from there you can read in depth about everything they found and what they recommend with prices. Sergio also was kind enough to make a priority list of things to be done in order or safety needs.I really appreciate everything they did for me. They did some small things for free (tire rotation, key fob battery replacement) while they changed my brake fluid. They’re really honest and kind people at Seikos and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

Brought my Gen2 Toyota Prius that I got a few months ago for a commuter car in because it was getting a lot less miles to the tank. Had the dealership check it out the week prior and they said everything was fine without further explanation so I wanted a second opinion. Seiko ran the car through various diagnostics and told me everything was fine but took the time to explain to me that the sensors were off and that he reset them as well as that particular model has a bladder for a tank. He didnt charge me for it and gave me pointers on what I need to monitor to determine if there is anything else going on with the vehicle. I really appreciated his thoroughness and explaining what could be causing the lowered mpg. Ill definitely be a returning customer for future maintenance!! They may not wear masks or capes, but Seiko and Cody are true superheroes. Aside from being one of the friendliest, most compassionate people I have ever met, Seiko was a consummate professional. He went over every item that needed attention, and even some that were on the fence, because his dedication to thoroughness is second to none. As my car was there for an extended period of time due to previous terrible mechanic work, Seiko called me each day with an update on the progress of the work. My experience with other mechanics throughout the Los Angeles area has been less than enjoyable. With Seiko, I felt complete trust from the outset, and that only grew over time. I was referred to Seikos Auto Service through a friend and now I wont take my car anywhere else! Since I drive a Honda Accord he was perfect! Seiko specializes in Japanese vehicles - especially hybrid vehicles!I used to take my car to another mechanic but it just seemed like the job was never done. Once one issue was fixed – another problem would arise soon after. I always felt like my car wasn’t reliable – and somehow would breakdown on me any minute or wouldn’t start etc.After taking my car to Seiko’s just for a standard oil change, I was truly impressed! He had great customer service, fast turn around time, and even took the time to educate me on the differences in oil quality and showed me the differences in air filters! He also took the time to run a full diagnostic and showed me what problems were present or could arise in the future. He was honest about his recommendations, never pressured me into extra services, and helped me prioritize which repairs needed to be done first and which ones could wait.It was this type of quality service that I felt confident having my timing belt changed a few months later. That was a major preventative service repair that needed to be done but there’s no one else I’d trust to touch my car! My car was ready to be picked up the next day and it has been running great ever since! My boyfriend drives a Honda CRV and he also had his timing belt changed at Seiko’s.If you want a truly different type of mechanic, one that is passionate about Japanese vehicles, will educate you in the process and be HONEST? Did a great job servicing the car. Was polite and friendly. Car was do for a major service due to hitting 100k miles. However the estimate for some of the servicing items were a bit high. Due to taking a road trip in a fee weeks had him fix the power steering hose leak they found, and had them do the oil change and simple service. Outcome was a bit pricy but he did a good job.

Was looking for an honest mechanic in the area. Brought my 2010 Prius in for a blown head gasket at 135,000 miles. They said I needed to buy a used motor for only $5,000 installed! They said the head gasket can’t be replaced, the head can’t be machined, and that a lot of 2010s have this issue. Attempted robbery! I had many other shops say they can do the head gasket replacement and recondition the head, so I did that for about 1/5 of the price and the Prius runs flawlessly. I am so glad I don’t have a used motor with a head gasket on it! Seiko you embarrassed yourself and I will tell everyone to avoid your shop. You should be ashamed.
