Been members and have been coming for years since we visited from out of town. Lovely variety of wines and we enjoy sitting outside. Great staff that take of us!!

Beautiful setting. Fantastic wines. Tasting was $30 per person and for an extra $5 you could add a library wine to raster against its current version. We spent 90 minutes and enjoyed every second of it. I shall return. Highly reccomended..

Very disappointing experience. Between the four of us we are in 14 wine clubs and we have already shipped home seven cases of wine. We were planning on purchasing quite a bit of wine, but they would not waive the tasting fees. The reason they gave us is that they have been losing money on the tasting fees. That doesn’t really make sense when you figure the tasting fee is $30 but a bottle of wine is twice that much so they would’ve made much more since we would have bought at least two bottles each. That left us with a bad taste in our mouth so we decided not to buy any wine. We will not be back and will not recommend this winery to anyone

Amazing experience at the chefs table!A 4-course meal with wine, plus extra wine and surprises. A great start to a Healdsburg weekend!Big bonus that the vineyard is walking distance (easy) from the Healdsburg square. Go here! If it’s sunny, the outdoor space is beautiful too.Even having a quick tasting and a saffron arancini by the bar would probably be amazing too, but if you have time for the food and wine pairing do that. If not, stop by and taste great wines, enjoy friendly service and sample something small from the incredible chefs menu.

Reservation Dineen. Arrived early and our tasting guide was not yet at the winery. Handed off to another employee.No description or history of 1895 winery.Poor description of wines.Went on break.Another employee who was supposed to be our wine guide was able to describe the wine and the history of the family.Asked to describe Chianti va the Ommagio and they could not be done.No additional service provided.Abandoned at the table.Oh well.

Beautiful tasting area under large, shady trees! Great socializing with the tasting specialist! Vibrant wines, flavors, color, and selection! A customized experience and a very pleasant surprise near the heart of Healdsburg!

Seghesio was the first wine stop of our girls trip last weekend. We arrived to a lovely table with Tony as our host. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the family history. We tasted some delicious reds and ordered several to ship home. The tasting room is very pretty and comfortable, and Tony made it extra special. I was already a fan of Seghesio wines, but now Im a super fan- thanks for a wonderful visit!

Seghesio was our second wine tasting for the day and it was our favorite by far! Tony Sciullo was our VIP liason and he was such a pleasure to host us. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our questions. The wines were so delicious that I decided to sign up for their wine club as well. After our tasting, we bought a bottle of wine to drink there while watching others play bocce ball on their grounds. So worth a visit if you are in the area and love wines. Also ask for Tony.

Seghesio definitely has been the best wine-tasting I’ve been to so far! They have a lovely outdoor seating area and a convenient reservation process.The staff were very hospitable and informative- they accommodated our group despite the delays and changes to the reservation. Tasting rooms are both indoors and outdoors- depending on the weather. The outdoors section has rocking chairs and beautiful big trees providing shade- I could spend hours there!There were a total of 8 wines- with the tasting we selected. Mostly Zinfandels, which are my favorite. Each vintage had a history and distinct taste. Our favorite was the wine made out of grapes grown in Rockpile.I’d highly recommend Seghesio for wine-tasting, it’s a very personalized, warm experience.Note- they are pet-friendly, we left our pups behind but they do allow dogs in their outdoor area.

Beautiful outdoor space, but was a little chilly, so we sat inside - very charming tasting room, great wine, and Tony, who explained in detail the history of the wine, winery, and family, were amazing. Walked away with several bottles and cant wait to return!

This was one of the best wine tastings. The building and park-like grounds are relaxing and beautiful. The pours were better than any other winery in the valley. Warm and friendly staff.

My husband and I have been enjoying Seghesio wines for many years and have been wine club members for a long time as well. Recently, we had a concern about our wine club shipment potentially being sent to the wrong address. I contacted Jill Klaus, the wine club manager for Seghesio, she responded immediately to resolve our problem and to make sure that our wines arrived at our home on time! She was generous in making sure that we received our wine club shipment with no delay and that we would continue to be very happy customers! Great customer service from the Seghesio team and great wines too! I would recommend them without hesitation!

Its Old Vine Zinfandel is complexly rich and bold, as its classic name suggests. The host was so nice and attentive too, plus its quite close to Healdsburgs town square that its walkable. Go check it out!

I stopped in while visiting from the Phoenix AZ area. I grew up in Healdsburg and knew Ted Seghesio back in High School. Unfortunately we had no idea that most wineries were taking reservations for tastings. We were told that we would not get any service but we could buy a bottle of wine and drink it if we’d like?? Very impersonal so we left! We won’t be back.

Worst tasting room experience Ive ever had in my years of visiting California wine country.The guy helping us had a serious attitude problem and instead of answering a few questions about the origin and processing of a few of their wines we werent familiar with, he told us to buy a book they had for sale--basically Wine for Dummies.The wine was nothing above average either so Ill definitely never go back.

I like the wines but the tasting room today was a huge disappointment. The wine pourer doled out stingy pours to us and ignored us, but chatted up the folks next to us and poured them twice as much of each selection. We bought six bottles rather than the case we planned on because of this indifferent service. They used to be so friendly there. Why so snooty all of a sudden. No wonder folks we know have left the Seghesio wine club...

Exceptional zins and great personal customer service. Their basic Sonoma zin is very good but their San Lorenzo is phenomenal, with or without food. Their wine club prices are reasonable with a wide variety of selections. Obviously one of our favorites and on the top of our list every time we visit!

My family booked the Chefs Table and had the most amazing experience. We were greeted with tastes of the house Arneis wine, a lovely Italian grape wine, and moved to the dining area to begin a feast not only for the palette but for the eyes. We moved from an amuse bouche, simply a fresh strawberry and chèvre, to a dish dominated by a seared scallop with risotto, to lamb ragu with its magic accompaniment, to pork loin with polenta and a mixture of vegetables, to Rib-eye steak and another magic accompaniment. Each plate was whisked in and away with very professional and friendly staff, and each plate was a pleasure to behold. The tasting, comprised of four small plates, constituted a meal; a delicious, beautiful meal with surprising discoveries for all of us. Our hostess, Joyce, was informative, fun, and adaptable to all of our individual quirks -- we wanted to talk; she wanted to explain - she waited. She suggested the ramp-stairs rather than the steeper stairs because of one of our partys difficulty walking. Everything was accomplished with sensitivity and professionalism and friendliness. At the end, we declared this our best experience of our 9-day vacation in Sonoma Valley.

Off the main wine trail but a must-visit nonetheless. Knowledgable and friendly staff. The various Zins are decent but the Sonoma Zin is unbeatable for the price. You may run into the 3rd generation Seghesio winemaker Friday afternoons. Great experience.

Segehsio is a great winery to visit while in Healdsburg. The tasting room and cellar tables are really cool. Not to mention they make great wine.While known for their zinfandels, I really enjoyed there grenache and sangiovese. I recommend visiting this establishment next time your in Sonoma.

They used to be my FAVORITE winery but you should know a story about how they treat people and conduct business. It may or may not change your pov but I personally choose to support family owned businesses that treat people with respect and “walk their talk” (ie the values they espouse on their website. There are so many kind and authentic wineries out there. They are not one of them.They are currently running “a mural contest “. As a professional artist who is out of work during Covid AND that I love(d) their wine, I jumped at chance to participate. In retrospect I should have agreed with another artist who posted on their Facebook page (which they removed) that a true professional business would hire and collaborate with an artist than create a “prize” for doing real work.I worked hard on my submission and was told if I got a lot of votes I would make it to the finals. They changed the rules and timing of contest 3 times without any communication to the artists - pretty disrespectful. The voting process was confusing to people and long story short - even though I got the second highest votes of ALL of the entries I didn’t qualify for the final voting. I am not saying my mural had to get picked or be the best, but the voting and selection process should be clear. I am now extremely embarrassed by trying to explain how this could happen to my friends/family who supported me.It was brought to my attention that they have selected a muralist, the contest is fixed and they are simply doing this as a way to get social media followers. Pretty lame to use out of work artists for free mural design inspiration. Especially during covid.If their wine and company was truly quality they wouldn’t need to rely on a scam to grow their business.
