Emad took my Mac Book and fixed it in no time. He opened it up on the spot and diagnosed it, gave me a faster running hard drive and cleared out a few problems we had with memory and storage. Now, the Mac Book is running faster and on the latest operating system. He saved us $2000 and from scrapping the old Mac book. This is the only computer repair shop Ill go to from now on. Email had excellent costumer service from the start. My Mac Laptop had crashed and I needed to recover the data. He gave me an estimate and told me he would diagnose for free before he charged me anything. AND The price for the data recovery was cheaper than all of the other shops I called.He was able to pull off all my documents and pictures and even found out what was wrong with my computer! One of the fans had a missing screw so it didnt work and was causing my hard drive to over heat and the video card to malfunction (thats the summary but he explained it in depth and made sure I understood what happened). He also didnt charge me since the repair was so minor! Im pretty sure most shops would have charged an arm and a leg for replacing that little screw. I couldnt afford to replace my laptop and I needed it for school so Im glad I found this place and experienced Emads amazing service! He is very trustworthy and helpful and polite which is very hard to find these days.
The guy at the store was very helpful. He didn’t do any repair for me but referred me to someone that was able to help me out. I appreciate his honesty instead of attempting to fix my problem without actually knowing how which I know some repair guys do.
Emad (The owner/operator of the shop) treated me with respect when I ran into his shop basically panicking because my computer that I had just built wasnt working. Not only did he calm me down, but he did so by clearly explaining the problem with my computer within minutes, and quoted me an exceedingly fair price for the work that needed to be done.Unlike other shops in the area I had visited, Emad did not try to take advantage of my panic by trying to quote me huge fees, some more than the cost of my entire computer. While I dont think my computer will have any issues anymore (I HOPE), if there is ever a problem Ill come to Emad before anyone else.
Emad is amazing!! I was referred to SD Computer Service through my landlord when my laptop started acting up (Screen looked like a chess board on startup). I called ahead to confirm availability on Friday morning, took it in Friday afternoon, and Emad began working on it immediately. I was walking out 2 hours later with my laptop fully functioning, and some disk space cleaned/freed up. The man knows his stuff, takes his work serious, and is very reasonably priced.- Thanks again Emad, I will be seeing you again for any/all computer needs.
Great customer service! The owner is honest and has integrity. I wasnt sure which computer repair service I should go to but I am so glad I went with the reviews. Very kind and patient individual! Will explain to you what the problem is in laymans terms and fix the problem right then and there. My laptop needed a few repairs (I had tried fixing it myself abd caused more problems, never doing that again lol) and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes, laptop fixed! Definitely recommend coming here!
Went to Bestbuy to try and repair my laptop. $150 for just a diagnostic. I had no other choice but find another reliable computer repair store. I found this location, very cheap prices, speedy service, and can fix almost anything. Would definitely recommend this location over any other store! Will not regret!

I have been having a problem with my computer just shutting off for no apparent reason. We thought we had a bad virus and I finally had enough and called S D computers. Emad saw me right away. He is brilliant with computers!! He knew exactly what was wrong. Turned out the fan inside was not cooling off the computer enough which was automatically shutting off the computer before it got any hotter. I would not hesitate to bring my other computers to him. I actually called a few other places before coming to S D Computers and some didnt even bother to return my call; I am glad they didnt call me back because the service I received from S D Computers was very affordable and outstanding. Emad fixed my computer and did just that. I have not had the problem with it shutting off and I knew that when I left as one HAPPY customer. Thank you, Emad!!!

2023-09-06 05:24:27My computer was not showing anything on the display upon start-up, went to this spot after i saw on google it was one of the best in Chula Vista, they are super helpful and explain to you to a T what the issue is, how to fix it and tips for the future. They are super nice, helpful and even if its the most simplest issue, they do not make you feel dumb and take pride in helping others how to understand the issue and how to troubleshoot. This is definitely my spot from now on if my troubleshooting doesn’t solve the issue. I highly recommend everyone to bring their computers, Apple or Windows, to this business.

2023-07-27 03:38:46Amad was the best! He troubleshooted my Lenovo Idea Pad which was having some issues. He spent a good amount of time trying to figure out the problem. He explained everything he was doing. Couldn’t repair it, but helped me get the serial no, model no. Etc and got on the phone to Lenovo to help me set up an extended warranty so I can send the Idea Pad in for repair. He didn’t want to charge me, but I insisted he take some money that I left him. He goes over and above what’s called for and I appreciate that. Highly recommended.

2021-11-07 02:40:39Emad (the owner) is very helpful, informative, and nice. Before he helped me with my laptop he ran some testing while explaining to you what he is doing and the purpose of it. After I left my laptop, he called me on the same day and told me the issue and was working on it overnight. Reasonable price. The next day, he helped me restore all the apps I need for school and work and made sure that nothing else was wrong. This review may sound bias to new people coming to his shop but all I can say, you have to see it to believe it. Thank you Emad for the help and I will be coming back if I have anymore computer issue I cant resolve.

He sits down and explains all the issues that are happening to your computer whether its hardware, software...etc. He always takes a step further to make everything easier for you. And also hes really nice and has great customer service, something other shops lack (firsthand experience).

I brought my laptop in over 3 times, and was never charged once for the valuable advice, insight, and labor he expended attempting to fix it. Though he had the opportunity to up-charge me for finding my various problems and push my parents and I into paying for expensive repairs, the owner instead gave me his honest advice and pushed us not to have him fix the computer and instead buy a refurbished one online, despite him making no profit from us doing so. No other business owner I’ve encountered has shared such a genuine respect for his customers and upstanding moral conduct, I truly commend this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone in the area experiencing computer troubles. There may be a delay in getting in the door, but I promise it’s worth the wait.

He updated it to a newer software where I was able to use the internet and use it just like any other computer ! He’s so awesome and definitely knows what he’s doing ! :) thanks so much !!!! 100% recommend his services !

Also, he is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE of all things that may be plaguing your computer - software, hardware, even battery/power issues (which I had with my laptop).
