I’ve dealt with a handful of windshield companies and people in the past and Frank is by far the best one I’ve crossed paths with. Easy to get along with, easy to talk to and very thorough with his work. He was able to answer my questions and get this windshield done very quick and the right way with good quality glass. Frank is the best, I was freaking out when a rock put a hole in my windshield. Not only was the price great he came to my house and fix it. He treats so with respect and was so kind plus he was fun to talk to. The whole experience was great. If you go somewhere else you’ll regret it. Omg! We called this morning and Frank had our windshield in stock and could do it today!! Plus he comes to your house and is very prompt and efficient. Very nice and cordial and really knows his stuff. We had this cracked windshield for about 3 months thinking it will be a hassle to fix. Frank made it hassle free and so glad we found out about him. I called SD Auto Glass and they came out the very next day. Frank is super personable and friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. They came all the way to me at work and replaced my glass and the bracket in the rain in like 15 minutes. On top of that, he was very informative and explained to me exactly what happened with my window. Frank and his team are very fast, efficient and very friendly. Not to mention cost friendly. SD Auto Glass (Frank) responded promptly and timely with my request to fix a chip in my windshield and replace a windshield on another car. Frank’s attention to detail and his pride in his work shows in the superior workmanship. The chip was minimized to not further crack and to be less visible. The replaced windshield on the other car was expertly situated after detail prepping of the frame by removing rust and adding primer, prior to glue for adhesion of the new window. Extra consideration was given to the rubber molding by Frank recommending a thicker gauge for a better fit and a high end aesthetic appearance. Completely satisfied with the professional and quality service. I highly recommend SD Auto Glass.

Backed into something and broke my rear glass. Frank drove an hour out of his way to get my replacement glass. Vacuumed out all the glass from my truck and the paneling. My wife’s windshield on her vehicle had a crack from the lower left that smeared all the way to the passenger side, such a nuisance to look at everyday.Thought about playing it “safe” until I did a Google search and read reviews. I called late in the evening and I was able to book an appointment as well as receive a quote within 10 minutes of contacting Frank. Spoke with Frank last night around 7pm and it is now 12:30pm the following afternoon and the work is done. 👌🏻He was responsive, polite, and prompt. Unfortunately my car was broken into this past weekend and my driver side window was shattered. I contacted SD auto glass and Frank was super quick to respond. I gave him my cars make and model and he assured me he could get the job done the next day.The fact that he was clear with his pricing, drove to my work to do the repair so I didn’t have to take time off really meant the world. My car was broken into recently and Frank was able to see me for an appointment the following day. He responded quickly and answered all of my questions over the phone. He came to my house and got to work immediately! He works so fast! While he was working on my car, he showed me how everything works inside the window and what to look out for in the future. Not the best way to start out my morning or 4th of July with a broke windshield. I had a huge crack in my windshield due to a rock hitting it. I was shocked at how fast I received a quote from Frank and by the next day, they had replaced it. They were the most genuine, fast, and knowledgeable company Ive ever dealt with. They offer mobile service and came to my place to replace the windshield. They didnt charge an extra fee for coming to me, which was great. The whole process took about 35 minutes and the new windshield looks great. Fast, affordable, great customer service.I contacted Frank at around 8pm after me entire back windshield had been smashed. He answered quickly, informed me they didn’t have my cars windshield in stock but he would get it first thing in the morning when they opened and be over to my house to fix everything between 9-10am. He communicated every step of the process with me, had the entire window replaced within 40 minutes. He also fixed two other pieces that had broken on my trunk in the process of the damage. I wrote a super long review so the short review is if you need any glass on your vehicle repaired or replaced call SD Auto Glass in Rancho San Diego. They do excellent work at low cost and have really fast service.So my to story is I destroyed the windshield on my 2018 Honda Civic LX Sedan. I looked a few I companies online but alot of the ones I found wouldnt service where I am located. So I ended up on Safelites website and started filling out my vehicle information for pricing on a mobile windshield replacement. I was expecting to pay somewhere around $600 for the service and was happy that they quoted me $491.87 although I was not impressed with the next available date to schedule a repair. It was April 12th when I was being quoted and the next available time slot was for a mobile repair was 1pm - 5pm on April 19th. So one week was the soonest I could schedule their service and I went ahead and made the appointment. After I finished my quotw on the Safelite website I called my mom on the phone and told her I scheduled an appointment with Safelite to come out and replace my windshield but I had to wait until next week to have it done. So my mom asked if I had called a company in Rancho San Diego called SD Auto Glass to get a quote. I was like no I wasnt aware that a company called SD Auto Glass existed. So she said dont pay Safelite yet for the mobile repair let me call this guy at SD Auto Glass and Ill call you right back. So she called aSdD Auto Glass and talked to Frank and he quoted her $350 dollars and said he could be at my apartment at 10am tomorrow morning to do the windshieldreplacement. So my mom confirmed the next day appointment at 10am for me. So I went back on my computer and canceled the appointment with Safelite. The next morning Frank text me around 9:30am to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived at my house around 10am. I gave him the keys to my Honda and went back inside the house abd after about 15mins I get a text from Frank saying OK, your car is ready. When I came outside the car looked just like when I bought it brand new. The new windshield looked flawless and they cleaned around all the areas where they were working so the car looked so much better than before they worked on it. They did such a great job and I couldnt believe how fast the service was and how much more affordable it was. Safelite would have chared me $140 dollars more and took 6 days longer for the same service. I never leave reviews but SD Auto Glass deserved a 5 star review and about 600 words of an outstanding customer experience.

Frank was able to get me a hard to source OEM windshield in ONE DAY after we spoke over the phone — where as safelite quoted me 5 days. Frank not only gave me a better price but much better service. My windshield had been replaced before by a big name glass place through my insurance company. When I needed another one I asked around and SD Auto Glass came highly recommended. When Frank looked at my windshield he knew right away who had changed it before and instead of replacing the side panel clips they just glued it in which was going to make for a much more complex job replacing it. He was right, as he started to remove the old windshield he showed me all the short cuts that had been taken. I asked him how much more the job was going to cost over his original estimate and he said nothing, he just wanted to get it replaced the proper way! Frank the owner of SD auto glass is amazing and goes above and beyond for his customers!! No joke, I only asked for a windshield replacement in the beginning since mine was cracked in a few places. I also asked if he could possibly replace my rear view mirror since it had fallen off. He comes right to wherever you are since it’s a mobile service and he replaced the windshield in less than 30 minutes! He went above and beyond by letting me know he could find another, original rear view mirror for me AND on top of that didn’t charge me extra for it besides the gas. He looked into 5 places that had it in stock and drove 45 minutes to get it. He will be installing it later today. You should definitely call SD auto glass! I was travelling through the area and met the installer at a local San Diego mall -- HUGE mistake! Because once my windshield was removed, he refused to install the new one unless I paid an additional $100 dollars to remove rust. The rust was normal residue due to rain that hadnt penetrated the car paint and could easily be removed with steel wool. Since I had no choice in the matter once the windshield was removed, and after payment, it took him all of 5 seconds to do the alleged extra work using an electric wire brush, which in my opinion shouldve been part of the job. I really felt I was taken advantage of, almost as a hostage, so I will NEVER do business with them again.

It was late in the afternoon and I didnt think I would be able to get it repaired. But called Frank at SD Auto Glass and he said he could be there that evening. I had a cracked windshield for about 4 months. I called SD Auto Glass the afternoon of Thanksgiving Eve and Frank answered and provided answers to all my questions, his customer service was impeccable, so I knew I didn’t need to look any further. By 4 PM the day after Thanksgiving I had a brand new windshield installed without having to go anywhere!Frank came to my Condo – he is very knowledgeable, very professional and very nice; he truly provides stellar customer service in a very professional and unique manner that’s sets him apart!Plus, as if that wasn’t enough he is HONEST to the core!!! I paid cash for my service and later that night realized I had inadvertently given him an extra $100, I texted him, he responded immediately and said all his cash payments had been combined but would verify once he got back to the office and closed out sales for the day. I had a great experience with Frank, he was friendly and professional and will be my go to guy from now on. After my passenger seat window wouldnt roll back up on my (not so new) car, I called SD Auto Glass. I needed a new regulator, motor, and switch. Frank drove to my house the very next morning and he and his employee Luke worked on my car. Luke was very friendly and did a great job, he even drove to my work to do a quick replacement of the switch. Overall the experience was stress free and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of his service.

I called at 11pm after an accident that damaged the back glass on our brand new car. Our insurance uses safelite but they couldnt get us in for 2 weeks and didnt have our glass in stock.
