Rusteak and homie. The food was awesome the service was great. The servers or quite attentive. Kind of makes you feel like youre on a tropical island overlooking the river. The owner John is a real hoot. You can rent tubes for $4 and float down the river and have an awesome time. I will be returning. Thank Scottys landing it was awesome. Definitely a thumbs up 😊

Great place to chill eat and fish. Weekends they have bands of all sorts. Winter time ya cant get ta Scottys. Due to the weather roads get closed cause the water covers the roads. If ya aint been ta Scottys Boat Landing ya really need ta check it out.

Scottys is no longer what it used to be. Currently its pending for sale. The roof is leaking and looks like itll cave in. The outside is filthy. The place has been neglected over time. You might be able to score a beer, no beer on tap, and sit on the deck. Sorry for the lousy review.

We celebrated my sons 50th birthday so we had a large group. We had been to the lake so arrived at 7:30. Even though they usually close at 8 the entire staff were happy to serve us.The food was excellent. I had fish & chips. The fried fish was the tastiest I have had. My son had French Dip & he said It was the best he ever had too. Everyone loved their food & how welcome we felt.Definitely making this restaurant a regular in my restaurant adventures.

Its in a great spot, and the service is good. Beer/wine selection is decent (no cocktails). There are inexplicable piles of junk everywhere. Not funky decorations, but actual trash. This could be an extremely nice place if the owner were to clean up all the garbage and fix the place up, a bit. Still, its worth going to, for the outstanding outdoor scenery and large wooden deck.

I dont get this place without people, it seems abandont and not cared for for years with all the broken down cars and shacks upfront, etc. I guess when a band is performing and hundreds of students are filling in life, the rest becomes ubiquitous and vanishes since the focus will be on the people and beer. Pics will describe it better. Must be an awesome place to party...

Amazing staff!! Great food and beers!! 💜 My daughter was having a temper tantrum and didnt want to go and wanted to go somewhere else and the server was so kind to cheer her up. She brought her a coloring book and a fancy Shirley temple drink to brighten her spirits. It was very sweet! She soon started laughing and smiling afterwards and the tantrum was over. We will definitely be back again!

We found this place on accident me and my friend. I bought the fish and chips and a couple beers and Not only was the pricing very affordable but the food was amazing. They also make their own homemade tartar sauce. They have a humongous back area that overlooks the river and they have live music on the weekends. I highly suggest this place to anybody that area.

One of the last old school locals spots in Chico. Everyone knows it as a gathering place for floating but if you are looking for a great deal come on Friday and have the prime rib.They also have live music often and the staff is always friendly.

Scottys is an amazing jungle paradise with the nicest staff an customers. It is so relaxing to sit in the cool breeze by the river while the rest of town cooks. The jazz band plays every first and third Sundays at noon, come enjoy the flowers and hummingbirds!

The guy at the bar was very friendly.. we ordered burgers and prime rib sandwiches.. I would definitely order the prime rib sandwich again! The sceneries out back were nice.. the building itself seems to need some attention.. I would suggest Scotty to friends and family and I will go again.

We just came here and ordered food and drinks. The server was overwhelmed and another server had to come because the server was too overwhelmed to take the first order. We waited over an hour for our food and when it finally came out it was all super cold. Then when we paid the bill we heard them complaining about us. And the overwhelmed server who was walking around like a zombie was at the bar having a beer. Unbelievable, we couldn’t believe this place is in business. I’ve been a server and super empathetic but this was absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced.

When you walk into Scottys landing you get a very distinct warm and homey feel, everyone is friendly. It has a very laid back feel, two real working fire places and lots of things to look at in every nook and cranny. Our waitress was very friendly and very attentive and the food came to us in orderly time. Now as someone who home cooks, the food was awesome! You can taste the love that is put into it. The clam chowder was A+ for depth of flavor and texture. This is not your run of the mill restaurant style clam chowder, its something extra special. We split the Prime Rib dinner. The Prim Rib was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth with each bite. Im not usually a fan of russets bake potatoes, but found my self eating the whole thing. I was very satisfied and very happy at the end of our meal.

Scottys is a local landmark on the Sacramento River here in Chico! It is a place that has just always been here.... great food, beverages and beautiful views! Its just a wonderful setting to hangout with friends or to meet new ones. I love to sit on the patio and just enjoy the beauty of the river, have a burger and ice cold tea!

They host some pretty good entertainment venues, but the area thats available to sit or stand is unkempt and I was worried about being bit by insects. AND they are very unattentative to customers waiting on service and the restrooms are virally connected and your not sure if your gonna catch something. Its got good grub if you eat before the mosquitoes start feasting on youlike some West Nile smorgasboard. I dont think they have done anything to upgrade place ever and the parking is non existent. And its too bad cuz the place could be a goldmine instead of a OLDmine

This place needs a good overhauling. When you walk in, you get a very strong sent of urine(not from bathrooms) There is junk all over the place.bags,boxes, papers,hangers, spider webs ect. Then you walk outside its a whole other story...in one corner you have leaves w/spider webs. Planks ready to fall thru...(hidden by mats) The ladys working there were nice but ordering is very slow. Its gone down hill since the last 8yrs. It needs A LOT OF TLC. Wont be going back😞
