My wife and I worked with Scot buy a home and also sell our home starter home at the same time. It was a tricky situation trying to line up the purchase and sale at the same time. Scots knowledge and expertise with this process was instrumental in getting us top dollar and favorable terms for the sale of our home and having both transactions close within a few days of each other. Scot is also incredibly patient, responsive, and overall, really cares about his clients get the right property for them (even if it does take 2+ years). Highly recommend Scot Nicol! He is exceptional and truly skilled at serving all home buying and selling needs.We are so glad that Scot served as both our listing and buying agent. He navigated us seamlessly through the entire process.Like many busy working parents of school aged children, we needed someone who could work around our schedules and available evenings & weekends, responsive by text or email, etc. He was all those things and more... he made it easy while patiently answering and anticipating any questions we had.Scot also helped to line up professional services needed along the way from the lender and even moving. He arranged decluttering service so that our home was quickly ready for photos and showing, and dropped off boxes/storage containers to help kickstart our packing. These extra steps were incredibly helpful given how hectic moving is. Scot also offered design and creative home improvement support for the home we purchased! He made some great recommendations on home layout, interior and exterior colors, etc and helped coordinate paint and flooring for a move-in ready experience. This was so convenient and allowed us to create more functional space for our family prior to moving in and enjoy new paint/ floors!We had been actively looking for a new home for an entire year, and Scot remained fully attentive and committed to helping us find the right home. He listened carefully to our needs/ wants and offered us tailored recommendations and feedback throughout.It truly was an enjoyable experience working with Scot, and the most stress-free home selling/ buying experience we’ve ever had. He is knowledgeable, hard working, trustworthy and service oriented. If we ever need a realtor again, we will enlist Scot Nicol again without a doubt!

I have nothing but great things to say about Scot! He helped my husband and I sell our first home in Hawthorne and buy our dream home in El Segundo - and got us the best price possible for both! He is an excellent negotiator and we always trusted his opinion on what to do. He was never pushy, but also very honest. His exact words were that he wanted to make sure we bought a home that we would be able to enjoy for years and years to come and not one that we would have to sell in 3-5 years, just so he could get the business again. On top of that, he is extremely knowledgable on the South Bay area (he knows everyone in El Segundo!), and spending time with him felt more like hanging out with a friend. Lucky for him we bought a house on the same street as him :) He also has the BEST renovation tips. Would 100% recommend Scot to anyone looking to buy or sell their next home - no matter what area you are in.

I can not recommend Scot Nicol enough when looking for a realtor to help you through the buying and/or selling process. Scot worked with us for months on a remodel. His advice and encouragement was essential to the success of the sale of our home. The staging, photos and video of our home were remarkable. The online presence helped us to secure a great deal for a home we put blood, sweat and (some) tears into. Without Scot and his team working all angles of the sale we would not have been able to sell our house in such a timely fashion or at the price we did!

Cant say enough about Scot and the Nicol Real Estate Group. From the outset, Scot was our guide. He really showed a clear understanding of our needs. Having been a lifelong resident of El Segundo, Scot has a wealth of information and knowledge about the city and is uniquely positioned to provide recommendations for our needs. I could go on. He was patient with us, didnt rush us, but executed on the strategy which helped us get into El Segundo (which is already a tight market!). Highly recommend.

Scot is the man! He completed a very complex transaction while keeping multiple families happy, including ours. He had enough foresight and experience to understand the issues we would be anxious about and explained what he thought was reasonable. Scot definitely listened to what we thought was important and was excellent at keeping us up to date on any progress or roadblocks in the buying and selling process.We would definitely use him again!

Ive had the honor to work with Scot Nicol as a seller and a buyer. I cant say enough positive things about either opportunity to work with him. As an agent representing the seller, he came and assessed the condo I was selling and was straightforward and professional about the plan we needed to take and implemented it flawlessly. He kept me informed every step of the way and talked me through all the nuances of selling a home for the first time. As an agent representing the buyer, he navigated my husbands and my personal preferences along with our combined wish list for a home. When we walked through houses he helped share his insight in the neighborhood, floor plan ideas, school districts, re-sale opportunities, etc. It gave us so much more to base a HUGE decision on then just a gut instinct. We have been living in the home Scot helped us secure off market, and he has been crucial even to this day for consulting us on the best way for us to upkeep/renovate our home for any opportunity that would/could arise (i.e. living in it forever, or selling in a competitive market). We used Scot to sell our home in Hawthorne and purchase a new home in El Segundo this year. He is extremely knowledgeable, has great judgement, is trustworthy, hard working, honest and communicative. Sometimes, when you are contemplating selling your home, it may create a state of excitement or for some, anxiety to approach a new chapter or era for yourself (and family) or both! It is never easy to move, and yet with Scot Nicol and his team, they put my mind at ease with not only their professionalism, but more importantly with Scots sense of being able to relate. He was always available, approachable and above all, always had options to present. WE made the decisions together as a team and the entire process was appreciated and smooth...really smooth. Our real estate transaction was not easy or straightforward.The couple buying our house needed to sell their house, buy our house and we needed to buy our next house all within a very tight deadline.Not only did Scot pull it off, he rocked it!! He was able to manage all three families and their needs without breaking a sweat. He stayed focused on getting each family into their dream home. He talked me off of a ledge several times. If not for him, I know we would not be in our dream home.I have bought 4 other homes with different real estate agents. I know that I have found my go-to guy in Scot.
