I highly recommend SC Diving if youre at all interested in scuba diving. Robert and the crew are all enthusiasts about diving and work really hard to make sure everyone has a good experience.I just walked in one day to get some information, and they not only helped me to get certified, but also provided opportunities to continue diving with them. Since then, Ive gotten to dive all over Southern California, and I just recently went on a really great trip to the Channel Islands led by CJ, one of the instructors who did a great job to set everything up for us for the trip.

I had not been diving in a very, very long time. I took the refresher course from SCDiving. They had excellent equipment to rent and more importantly, excellent instruction in at the Pleasant Valley Pool. I felt ready for the boat dive the next day on the Spectre Boat out of Ventura Harbor. It was a fabulous dive - more spectacular and fun than I expected. I felt very supported the entire time by their dive masters. I highly recommend them!

My kids got me a scuba open water diver certification class. Already finished the classroom time and am excited to hit the pool and get to take my first breaths under water. Robert the owner is very friendly and not too pushy like some dive shops Ive visited before. Looking forward to getting kitted out and continuing my education. Tom taught my first class one on one and was very friendly and really made me feel welcome to the diving community.

Robert and Kevin have been wonderful as I got my daughter certified. They allowed me (already certified) to be part of the training. Their prices on gear (especially wetsuits) were even lower than Amazon. These guys truly love diving!

If you need personal and attentive instruction you will get it with SC Diving. In addition the instructors are bent on providing a very safe environment with every dive. They have proven themselves to be exceptional. I deeply appreciate their service to me and my 2 young boys who were certified.

Recently completed an open water certification course with SCDiving and it was a great experience. Instructors were very knowledgeable and made the class work portion fun and informative. The classroom work was followed by the pool and ocean, where we applied our learned skills. Great overall instructors and course, very thankful we chose SCDiving.

I had a blast in my Introduction to SCUBA Diving class with Robert and Melissa. It was taught in an easy to understand manner. Theyre concerned about each and every student understanding what needs to be done to have fun and to stay safe.I would most definitely recommend SCDiving to my friends.

I took a refresher course with SC Diving and it was a great experience. The staff (especially Robert and Kevin) were personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back to this shop, and would recommend to anyone who is a diver or who wants to dive.

I went to this place thinking it was a store, but it turns out what they actually do is provide scuba diving lessons. Still, the guy over there (Robert) was very nice and helpful and answer a lot of questions I had about equipment, safety, the ocean and good places to go swimming. I had never consider scuba diving is something I would like to do, but after talking to him, and seem some of the cool pictures he has taken underwater, I feel that this is something I would like to do in the future. And when I do, I really would like to go back to this place. I would recommend it to anybody

Very knowledgeable staff. I went in to pick up a few small things and was treated like l was spending hundreds.Very different experience in my old dive shop. I asked for a product they didnt carry and the owner took a picture and said hed reach out to the company. He said they were always looking for new products for women. I will continue to shop there.

The shop is small, but they have a surprisingly good selection of gear. Nice shop and good service. I took my tanks in for hydros and the price is reasonable and the turn around is about a week.

I went diving with Joe Ruiz on the Spectre Dive Boat at Anacapa Island. Joe was very knowledgeable of the dive sites, and an overall awesome guy! He made sure the group was informed of the plan well in advance of even getting suited up for the dive, and even gave divers a chance to win a few little prizes via a raffle. My one complaint is that the group was comprised of multiple sub-groups of people. I was constantly being kicked in the face and in the head by two divers in particular, and at times it felt as though everyone was diving right on top of each other. I would recommend that part of the pre-dive briefing cover underwater courtesy to ensure all divers are on the same page before they get into the water. Its one thing to have a friend kick you accidentally, its another to have someone youve never met continue to do so without any remorse or mental wherewithal to realize they arent the only ones in the water. Thats not to say I didnt have an absolute blast with Joe (CJ), I just wanted to raise awareness to this issue. Overall, I recommend diving with Joe from SC Diving, hes a cool guy and he knows his stuff. Hell even feature you in one of his awesome diving videos!

Ive had one of my tanks hyrdod here and another got a visual inspection. both experiences were great. Communication is really fast. And the 24 hour drop off/pick up is super convenient.

MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE!!I have been diving for 18 years and decided to take the rescue diver course and do my dive master candidacy with SC Diving after shopping around at the other shops in the local area because I felt that Robert, Dan, Kevin, and both Justins brought a very positive learning environment and welcoming feel to the shop. As for the training, it was the better than what I could have asked for. Hands down! The scenarios Robert put me through helped me to identify my shortfalls and improve my diving skillset significantly. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Robert Inglis, my diving instructor is a professional, and an expert in diving around the waters of CA. I trust him with any dives. He makes me relax and efficient under water. Take him when it comes to underwater photography. He doesn’t disturb the water and allow you to take time and enjoy the ecosystem.

This morning in the pool, I had a blast diving with Mel, divemaster, doing all drills, inverted 360s, D&Rs, buoyancy adjust, and all manner of watch me, do this games. After not diving in 30+years, I wanted to reconnect and see if I really wanted to rediscover diving, and yes, I do:)
