Professional, kindness, courteous, smooth & rapid process with knowledge & experience made me feel extremely comfortable. Not to mention the fact that everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and they were giving me the best eye care. I think this is about my 4/4th year in a row with Dr. Nickolas A. Everything went well until I went up to check out. The optometrist did not let me know contact fitting was $55. He made it seem like it was part of the process. He was so smooth about it that I thought it was part of the process. I would have declined if I had known because I didn’t need someone to tell me if they fit or not. I have had contacts for more than a decade and used the same brand. I came in to see what my vision was and do an overdue annual exam. I basically paid $55 for two seconds of him telling me, “oh yeah it looks good”. And afterwards, he didn’t even thank me for coming or say see you next time. He just handed me to the cashier and left without another word. Seems pretty shady to me. I was easygoing the whole time. I never was rude because it’s not in me.My previous optometrist out of state also worked at a Lenscrafter store and never ever charged me anything without being upfront about pricing.I will never recommend anyone to come here. I don’t like when people do business like this. It’s not about the money, it’s the principal, and feeling I got tricked.

It’s always so smooth going to Lense Crafters. They have everything down to a science. I was elated when I found out my Medicare HMO plan was contracted with them. I love Dr Scavo. Great experience starts as soon as you book an appointment which does not end when the customer leaves and that is exactly how I felt when I reserved the appointment.As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine smile. I did not had to wait for to get the eyes checked. As soon as I was done with the regular checkup, Doctor Guevara introduced herself snd went through the results with me. She gave me options and explained to me the difference between different lenses.Great job by everyone at this facility.

First the eye exam was great ! The screening tests were efficient and the doctor section of the exam were fine. Now the problem, My medical plan pays for one exam a year, but I was told I just get a discount ? I started to leave, and they rechecked my insurance and said Found it, your plan pays for the exam When I payed after the exam I found out all I recieved was the standard AAA / AARP discount. I asked the cashier ( not the same person that checked my insurance plan ) about the exam being covered by my plan and only got a shrug. I was already late to pick up my wife at the clinic and decided to let the patient advocate of my insurance company work it out. Again the eye exam was great !

It was my 1st time meeting Dr. Scavo and he was very patient and clear in explaining all the tests and what he was looking at on the images. I would recommend him to anyone looking for their next checkup. The team in the store were very informational and helpful on all the questions I have regarding their products and policies. Eye exam amazing. Doctor amazing. But they made us wait for the process of purchasing new eyeglasses and because of this huge delay - we walked out making no purchases at all. Also, the store doesn’t not carry the same glasses on website. Made it difficult to make a desired purchase. Need more variety and stylish trendy eyewear.The service was poor even though the sales rep was sincere and offered good customer service. Now thinking about purchasing eyewear from another store.

I would like to offer some advice with the greeting of a new customer. I was greeted at the front very nice and friendly. But with I was presented with the technician, just a hello, follow me. She didnt explain who or what she was doing. I thought she was the optometric doctor. Then after the first part of the exam was over the Doctor presented himself. I was taken back. I felt not very comfortable. I was not happy with that. Just a suggestion.

I booked a same day appointment for my twelve year old daughter at Dr. Scavos office through their website, which was super easy and fast. Even though we arrived early, we were brought straight back as soon as our paperwork was completed. The staff was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable about our eye insurance coverage. My daughter felt at ease during the exam and was able to find the perfect pair of frames to suit her personality. It is my daughters first pair of glasses and her excitement to wear them to school today was heartwarming. Dr. Scavos office staff made my daughters first eye doctor experience a pleasant one. We will be returning soon with our other daughters. I highly recommend this office.

The whole experience was great all the way from the directions to the location and the staff when I checked in . . I really felt like the exam was very well done and Doctor Scavo never made me feel rushed and answered every question I had . I left feeling very good about my new glasses and experience at this location ! Eye tech rude, complaining hes completely overwhelmed, tapping his foot, and not listening to what I was telling him. When I went to get the manager, he muttered and got all ticked off. I’ve been to this LensCrafters location many times in last 10 years or so; however, this was my first time seeing Dr. Scavo.My experience with Dr. Scavo was very good. He was very friendly, thorough, and patient. I would’ve given this visit 5 stars if it weren’t for the LensCrafters portion of the appointment. I know the services are separate but it very hard to consider one without the other.The 3 stars for LensCrafters was due to the extended wait times for various things after I’d been seen by the doctor. I waited for an extended time to have retinal imaging done; and I’m guessing I would’ve waited even longer had I not stood in the doorway of the imaging room waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I would’ve eventually gone to the front desk but wanted to see how long it would take for a staff person to come to/acknowledge me. I didn’t time it but the wait was probably 30 minutes for imaging that took only 5 minutes.Similarly, after finally finishing the imaging, I began looking for frames. Though I was perfectly fine looking on my own, I was never asked if I needed assistance or had questions. I let the desk know when I was ready to see an Optician. I was seated at work station where I waited again, for at least 45 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff. At some point, one of the Opticians acknowledged me and said I would be next.When I arrived for my 11am appointment, the store was relatively quiet with maybe 3 other customers. By the time I left, about 3 hours after arriving (and as I waited for the Optician) the store became more and more crowded. There seemed to be insufficient staff to accommodate the number of patrons either waiting to see the doctor, waiting for pre-exam tests, waiting to pick up glasses, or waiting to be fitted for glasses. For perspective, during my 3 hour visit, the exam with the doctor was only about 15 minutes.
