I’ve been to a few different shops, but this one stood out on my first visit and I will be happily returning for whatever car needs I have. They are very honest about your options and work that needs to be done and give you options of how to go about your specific situation. The workers are also very kind and friendly and are more than happy to explain things to you in a way you understand. Amazing customer and car service, definitely would recommend.

Excellent service, good communication, helpful employees and a true desire to help their customers. I was having trouble with my 4Runner passing smog, and they went above and beyond to work on and figure out why. They went so far as to spend their days off working on my vehicle to ensure they could get it back as soon as possible when it was giving them problems. Not to mention everyone upfront did a great job communicating everything that was happening with our vehicle, and did everything they could to keep the cost to us as low as possible. My vehicle was probably a pain to work on, but they put their time and effort and money into getting it back to me. I cannot recommend this mechanic enough and can guarantee no matter what is going on with your vehicle they’ll spend the time to figure it out and fix it. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here from now on and I recommend you do too!

To be honest i was disappointed with their way of treating a potential customer. I trusted the high ratings. My car was giving a high pitched whine. I realized it had something to do with the axle/transmission. Luckily i was close by upland and stopped at save on auto care at 3 pm on Friday. Obviously no one expects them to repair the car completely 2 hours before closing. However, the person at the front desk told they wont even run a diagnostics. He wanted me to book an appointment and come back on Monday.Basically i have understood that in case of emergency, i should avoid save on auto care. I immediately went to another auto shop. They got the diagnostics done and even waived the cost of diagnostics once i agreed to complete the repairs in their shop.

We came here a few weeks ago to have smog checks for our school buses. I cant say enough how nice the girls in the front were. They worked fast and were extremely helpful. I highly recommend checking this place out if you need work done on your vehicle.

I am so very pleased to have finally found a trustworthy, highly experienced with end-to-knowledge of everything auto, and responsible. They explain, in detail what any issue and provide options, no pressure and add if the issue must be done immediately or can wait. Finally, it seems to be family run! I love that. Phenomenal service !My Company’s Nissan Envy Van would not start.I called David with this problem and he helped refer me to a local, friendly professional tow company. LOVE THESE MECHANICS!! CAN I GIVE THEM 10 STARS?! (Long review) l am a young blonde female. I dont know much about cars. I have had other mechanic shops take advantage of this.NOT THESE GUYS!!! THESE GUYS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY UPFRONT & HONEST ABOUT STUFF!! l first went to this auto shop because my last mechanic could NOT fix my car after several attempts & l was frustrated. For reference, l have an older car that l LOVE, a 2000 Ford Mustang, that l plan on keeping forever! Lol And with these guys that might just happen! I went to this auto shop because they had GREAT reviews online. Theres a reason for this. THEY ARE GREAT!!! I was very impressed when l first called them & asked the gal that answered the phone questions pertaining to my cars issue. She (Angie) had so much knowledge about cars, it blew my mind!! I was actually kinda excited & hopeful they would be able to fix my cars issues, which were two leaks. One from the oil pan line & the other, more complicated one, a rear main seal leak.I also told them to look over my car & let me know anything else that needed to be done.They completely inspected my car & recommended a couple/few other things, nothing major. I even asked them if l should replace a few other things they had not mentioned, that l knew my previous mechanic had done, just to see what he would say. He was VERY HONEST & told me No...that stuff looked good. I was impressed. Since they were pulling out the trans to get to the rear main seal, there were a few things that were recommended, like an O ring on the trans, a seal somewhere.. since l paid the labor for pulling the transmission, they recommended fixing all that kinda stuff now & not have to pull the trans out again later to replace those items.That made sense. They put in a new oil pan & replaced part of the oil line. Sorry l dont know the correct terms.They fixed the rear main seal & told me to watch for leaks & if l saw a leak to bring it back in. I realize rear main seals can be difficult. l was so disappointed when 2 weeks later, l saw my car was leaking a LITTLE BIT again. I took it back in on a Friday. They told me that since l had already paid for this to be repaired, there would not be any additional charge for working on this issue again.. I was surprised. I was SO IMPRESSED when l found out that the mechanic spent that weekend researching my cars year & brand & rear main seals on them. He found that sometimes as these particular cars age, these cars needed a special kit with additional parts, that other cars didnt need. He called & told me on Monday morning that he had ordered that kit. I think it was that Wednesday they called & told me my car was fixed & done. I went to pay for that special kit my car needed (new parts) & was told...there was NO charge. I was told to still watch for leaks & if it leaked to bring it back & they would go at it again. That was 4+ years ago!! They fixed it!! It has NEVER leaked since!!! They are officially my new mechanics. I have had them change out my front & back brakes & rotors. And when l drove away, l could tell they had been done. That was about 3 years ago.Recently, l took my 23 year old car that runs beautifully in because it was sometimes making a funny noise. I noticed it sometimes sounded different...but only sometimes. Lol The mechanic actually called me to go over the noise & tried to have me explain it as it did not make the noise for them. He then told me on his inspection, he saw my car was missing a couple bolts from the motor mounts. Maybe that caused something to vibrate/move & thats what l heard? So he replaced those & did some routine maintenance that l knew was needed.He replaced all fluids, replaced my spark plugs & spark wires & found that the spark wires looked great on the outside, but were falling apart badly on the inside. Its been 3 weeks now.I dont know what caused that funny different noise, but it is gone now!!A different mechanic has worked on my car each time.THEY HAVE ALL BEEN GREAT!! THE BEST!! Prices are better, fair & reasonable here! LOVE THEM!!

Very good experience as a first -time customer. Office staff friendly and helpful. Work performed to diagnose and replace battery was well done and prompt. New battery seems to be of higher quality than usual. Only negative is the location of shop in a very congested area with limited parking. This shop was chosen because it is AAA approved and close to home. Will plan on using it again in future.

I am so happy with the service I was provided from this team. I brought them a car that had a multitude of problems because I bought it from a guy on offer up who thought he was a mechanic and ruined the car. They took care of everything and all for a VERY reasonable price. As soon as you walk into their lobby you are put at ease because you can see they are AAA certified, have awards for their service, and best of all you see a picture of their employees showing what a close knit group they are. They are a family owned business and they definitely treat you as if you are being welcomed into their family because they truly take care of you! This team is dedicated to providing top notch service to their customers to ensure peace of mind. Angie has wonderful customer service and is very professional. This was my first visit to Save On Auto Care. Vehicle needed oil change and brakes replaced. I met with Angie who coordinated everything. Through her I received high and effective customer service. She kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I was in and out within a couple of hours. The waiting room is quite small but it all worked out ok.They service all makes and models including Domestic & Foreign vehicles.Be sure to call in for appointments. Parking is very limited.Overall I was impressed and will be returning for future services.

I came in after my car had broken down on the freeway. The owner made me feel at ease right away. He kept me updated frequently on the status of my car. He even offered to keep his shop open a little later so that I can come drop off my new car battery. Truly exceptional customer service, professional, and fair pricing! Words can’t express just how much these people here at Save On Auto made my day. I made an appointment for an oil change and arrived on my appointed time slot. They were running a bit behind and Tonya who was so nice and accommodating kept checking in me and reassuring me that things were getting done. A little while later she came out and brought me inside to finish up the paperwork and at that time she informed me that due to them being backed up and it taking a while longer than expected that the boss said that this oil change was on them. My alternator went out on the way to work. I called to see if they could help me out. Not only did they offer to drive me to work (which was great!), but when I explained that it was pretty far away, they said they would make me a priority since I’d be waiting for the repair. They ordered the part that was both readily available and the lowest possible price! Everyone there is genuinely nice and helpful! Great people, great service, great work!! When I brought my car here, I was desperate and had no idea what to expect - I picked them based on them being close and a vague recommendation from a AAA call center rep. My car had a timing/ignition issue that I needed solved at a bargain price, and that another shop flat-out refused to look at, and I had my car dropped off late at night and the key put in the drop-box.The next day they called me up. The lady was sharp and knowledgeable, and within a few minutes, she knew exactly what I needed and gave me an estimate on the diagnostic. They both FOUND the problem, and came back UNDER the diagnostic - its the first time ive ever heard of a shop charging you LESS than what you agreed, like 1/3 less. We talked more regarding getting the issue fixed, and they were comfortable with the unconventional - for cash flow reasons, I needed them to ONLY solve the timing issue and they agreed to check only the issues I wanted, then I would tow the car out.It is about 30 minutes after pickup. They not only did exactly what I needed, they did so at a bargain price. When I started my car, it sounded better than it has in 5 years. They have made a customer for as long as I live in the area.

I was traveling past Upland this weekend when my belt broke leaving me without power steering. I found this shop mainly based on the high quality ratings and they did not fail me. They were able to get me back on the road within a couple of hours which I greatly appreciated. Extremely wonderful staff! I had the best experience here. Trust me! I have dealt with sooo many mechanics but Save on auto care is truly my go to from now on. They are very honest and dependable and they truly care about getting your car up and running. I have brought 2 cars here and both times I left happy. The most recent time, my car broke down on the 60 fwy in the midst of traffic rush hour 530pm and I was able to tow it that evening despite them being closed!! On top of that, David is super down to earth and honest and he fixed my car! The owners are Golden. They truly care about their customers and they do a great job. My car is so old and they got it running. They are not expensive and they guarantee their work. David is a fantastic mechanic that will not tell you jibberish. He takes his time so being patient is important if you want your car fixed correctly... Car health is important! So I am so grateful I found this shop and again, they are trustworthy. I could say more but I dont want to make this too long. You will find out once you use them, and I know you will be happy. And Angie, at the front desk....WOW....She is super sweet and amazing! Angie and team are exceptional as it comes to standing behind their work, this in the car repair industry is a rare gem. Heck you dont even get that from big dealership, so what that tells me they have ethics which will never bring reproach on the truth. Ive been a customer here for 30 years and have NEVER been disappointed or dissatisfied! Even through my change in vehicles and the seamless change in ownership, the service and staff have remained the same as I have always been accustomed to. Youre treated like family and you feel it. Once the owner even told that he wouldnt do the repair because he would just be taking my money (it was time to retire that one) after 19+ years of them servicing it. Wonderful ServiceWe dropped my sons car off to fix an oil leak in a rather remote area of the motor. We picked it up after our return from vacation. The girls in the office were courteous and professional. They made sure I was aware of what the mechanics found during their inspection, but asked me before the mechanics repaired anything. Service on the vehicle was great. Technicians are good at what they do. But I cant give them more than 3 stars for overall customer service. I brought my truck in before Christmas. I had family flying in from Minnesota and they werre going to need a vehicle. I brought it in early to have it on time. Delivery date was upshed back almost a week for wrong parts. Understandable. I paid $700, truck still wasnt done because of a gasket. I needed it for family, returned it and I was told that there was going to be an additional charge for the gasket. But theyre going to do me a favor and install it anyway.I go to pick up the truck a few hours later and Im told to pay a $30 bill for the gasket. I reminded them that I was told it was going to be taken care of by them and I reminded them that I already paid $700. They try and convince me theyre doing me a favor by covering the gasket.Then I discovered a shinny spot on my hood. Granted, paint is white and oxidized. But the clean spot was done with a rag. I believe someone from the shop wanted to prove that the paint wasnt as bad as it appeared. So they rubbed a spot on the hood. Bending it so it now cant open. I doubt some transient walking by wanted to test out his car polishing skills.

I originally tried to take my car to the dealer to get it checked out but due to covid they could not take me untell 2 days from that day so I called around and im so glad i did. I have an electrical car so finding places that work on them isnt that easy. I called 4 different places before I had called save on auto care. First off the staff here are great the 2 lovely women up front were very sweet and listened to everything I told them was going on with my car. They called me with in a few hours to let me no what we already expected was wrong with my car what happened to just be the hybrid battery. They ordered the part and had it installed the next day. Over all great service and staff with affordable service as well I will be taking my car here from now on.

Long story short. My engine light was on so I took my vehicle over to Save on Auto Care. Took in my car because it was having some issues that i found concerning. asked for an oil change and to check out the problems. i was quoted for the oil change plus the standard extra 100 for doing a diagnostic. unfortunately my car ended up being so bad off that they said they didnt feel right making any repairs as i would end up spending more money than the car was even worth. they could have just told me what repairs it needed and hoped i would throw money at the problems. instead they were honest and they also discounted the price of the diagnostic for me. very happy with my service!

The story goes: I had to visit the DMV 4 times over a 2 week period and the ladies at Save On Auto Care were the only saving grace I encountered throughout those 2 weeks. Their support for me went above and beyond your typical quality customer care. Thoroughly impressed. Our VW Jetta was having some problems so we took it to the dealership where we bought it used and had taken out an repair insurance policy. The policy proved useless and they wanted $1500 to make all repairs. I felt I needed a second opinion. I took it to Dave and Save On. As it turns out, I only need to spend half that on getting the car back into shape as the dealership wanted to charge for unnecessary things (brake rotors that were fine, tire rods end and ball joints that were fine). I suppose I shouldnt be surprised as this is the MO of many dealerships, but Save On wont do that to you. They didnt do it to us.So, in the future, Im going to save the time and the hassle and take it straight to Save-on. Quality work that wont rip you off!!!Thanks a million!

Recently brought my 2006 VW Jetta in for service. My front tire had a major wobbling issue which damaged both of my front tires. Save-On Auto Care fixed the issue quickly and it only required a tire replacement! They also did an oil change and a smog while it was there. My in-laws have been customers for years. The business was bought out and ownership changed, so did their morals and customer service. My father in law brought his truck in for a leak and within the month the transmission also went out. When he took the truck in the first time it was there for over a week, wouldn’t give updates, and he had to basically track them down to hear about his truck. He had it towed there to see if the problem was related since they had just worked in that’s area. Again, they had his truck for 9 days. He called every day asking for updates and around day 4 they hadn’t even worked on it yet. He was supposed to get a new transmission but instead they did a rebuild and when he went to pick it up this morning they made him sign a paper saying they would never do business again due to the way “he conducted himself”. My father in law is older and talks to people in a calm and nice manner, so there’s is no reason to treat him such a way. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH YOU, not the other way around. You are doing something shady and a BBB report will be made.

I waited because of the cost for repair but I later took it to save on auto car for an oil chang and asked them to look at GPS and the found a bad wire.
