This is a nice library, it’s big and air conditioned and there’s free WiFi. HOWEVER, there is constantly some guy talking in a zoom meeting or something in the group study room. He always sits in the back row at the middle table facing the door. I have seen multiple people tell him to be quiet, then he’ll leave and come back the next day to keep talking in his meetings. This guy is disrupting everyone in the group study room because he talks SO LOUD for SO LONG! It’s incredibly disrespectful to others trying to work in the group room when there are no other seats available. This library is also pretty busy which means the seats outside of the group room are usually all taken. Whenever I see him in the group room, I try to sit somewhere else. As a college student, I have to study somewhere and sometimes the only available seats are in the group room. I am here every day studying and I always see him. I’ve told library staff about him before and they haven’t done anything about it because “talking is allowed in the group room”. This isn’t just talking, he comes in every day to sit in on meetings he should be doing in a private room, on the patio where there’s still WiFi, or even in his car outside of the library. When other people are talking in the group room, they do so for short periods of time and at a lower volume than talking and that’s completely fine! But this guy constantly irritates everyone in the group study room and someone needs to tell him to reserve a private room if he wants to loudly chat all day long on his computer.I included a video of him talking. For context, I’m sitting in the front corner and he is sitting at the middle table in the back. Library staff, please do something about this!!

What an amazing library.. A peaceful neighborhood, a beautiful and huge library, great rooms for group study, quiet reading, relaxed reading and much more. If you live reading or indulging in some quiet time to think and work, this is the place. The collection of books for both kids and adults is mind boggling. The facility is sparkling clean. They have endless options for videos and games. I use to love the Cupertino Library, but this library is now becoming my favorite…

Great place to study and work. Busy during the weekend but good. If you want calm go in the weekdays! Close to downtown and the coffee places. Historical and nice. Not far from the highway. Nice and calm. Highly recommend

A less busy library that always seems to have parking. Good dvd and Blu-ray selection. Magazine recycle (drop off or take) bins. Wifi response may be slow during peak hours, like right after school gets out.

One of the nicest public libraries I’ve ever visited. And it’s choc-full of people librarying.My favorite area is the quiet study room. It’s so quiet: everyone follows the rules! There was one noisy page turner though...There are chargers out front for my EV.

Beautifully situated in an orchard setting. Thoughtfully architected facility. Small details such as the usability and thoughtful design of the software at self checkout suggest this place is well managed. Excellent selection of newly published books. Exhibitions in the foyer and public talk and event spaces show good links to the community. Good separation of the childrens library for young families. Has outdoor seating spaces. Vending machines for snacks and cold drinks.

Excellent selection. Very spacious. Comfortable areas to sit and read or work. Very quiet everywhere when I was there shortly after lunchtime . Plus, there is a closed off Quiet Room.

It is a nice library and a unique looking one. It is almost like a huge store at a mall than a library. Probably the library with the most kids and teens go to. It is good that they are utilizing it. The only thing I did not like was that, like most libraries have an AC and this branch does not. They have celing fans, but it is still hot during the summer.

A wonderful resource for folks of all ages. In addition to the usual books and magazines there are movies and games to borrow. Helpful staff and events such as a bicycle repair day. Clean, welcoming, lovely facilities.Ebooks and audiobooks are available with a library card - which you can register for online, too. The optional periodic email updates have been valuable - I found out about the free Headspace, Rosetta Stone, and Kanopy app memberships.

Gorgeous library. Expansive collection, very nicely organised! Children and teen books are separate. Helpful and friendly staff 💞 Beautiful outside and inside views. A treat for all the senses. Excellent place for a picnic - can spend an entire day without noticing the passage of time.

Good collection of latest best-sellers, including their digital versions. They have good collection of movies as well. Library building blends beautifully in its surroundings - a cherry Orchard, with gorgeous view of lush green mountains. Helpful staff. Not too crowded. Flexi hours. Spacious parking, with some EV charging spots.

Very good library to hang out and do studying theres plenty of seating atmospheres quite quiet there is a drink machine and snack machine on site as well they have a great selection of audio books that Ive never seen before and other libraries they have a teen zone they have a child zone and a few quiet zones for adults who just want to read

Beautiful, comfortable, and well stocked. I agree with prior review that the staff needs to be more understanding and nicer, especially the senior reference librarian. The most senior reference (blond haired) reference librarian is nice though.

Best place to blissfully let a weekend afternoon drift. Find yourself nestled in the natural woodwork veneer and meticulously organized shelves. Plenty of space and outlets--some are hidden away on the ground like secret bonus power ups. In need of a mental break? Allow your eyes to sink into the world outdoors through the multitude of sunlit windows. May it be the hustle bustle of a busy road or the serenity of a dormant vineyard, all is provided for your eyes and mind to feast on.Edit May 2023still the tranquil oasis for quiet study. they rearranged the open area furniture a bit seemingly for distancing but also in an open floorplan (is startuppy sort of way). its okay, I still just go straight for the reading room where I assume theyll leave as is for a long while

This is very disgraceful. They cancelled the book sale on this Sunday, without telling anybody. Not posted on their website, nor any other place. People were waiting in the wind and rain. One gentleman with a dolly took bus after bus to get here. Do the people who running the library really know what’s there responsibility is? Shame on them.

Very helpful librarians will help you pick a book. Because it is in the Santa Clara library system, you can order a book from another library, which is nice. Computers are generally available for use (unless you go after Redwood Middle School gets out, ~3:20 P.M. Mon-Fri). Snack and soda vending machine and coffee machine available along with tables so you can eat it. Parking can be difficult.

I have always had a great experience at the Saratoga Library. Ive been coming here since the 70s. I love the remodeling that has been done and the people who work and volunteer their time here are always helpful and polite. I highly recommend coming here.

In my experience, the Saratoga library provides some of the best information services in the area. It is located on what appears to be an old orchard farm with a building that is visually attractive inside and out. Patrons can borrow laptops, audiobooks, DVDs, Blu-ray and many other formats besides the traditional books. The only drawback with all the success is the scarce parking as this is becoming a very popular location.

Great library, staff seems to have no experience in customer service. The ladies in the adult side are loud, rude and make snide comments to patrons who ask for something they deem not their job, i.e. a pen or highlighter. If you ask them a question and their are directions somewhere in the library they look at you like an idiot and ask, very condescendingly, if you have seen the directions. Clearly freaking not lady.

The facilities are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. Books also vary by field.It is easy to make a library card on site, and the loan period of books is up to 3 weeks and the number of books can be borrowed up to 100, which is very satisfying for users.
