The doctor who saw my son today was very good. She was thorough in her explanations and answered our questions patiently. The front desk person was equally helpful and so with the dental assistant. The office itself was nice, clean and had a very welcoming atmosphere. We felt “relaxed” and taken care of by everyone in the office. They are very professional!

This place is THE BEST. Theyre so kind and make it easy to do something that lets be honest, is not fun or exciting. Its easy to make an appt, Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appt, and the work theyve always done has been quality. When they say call us if something doesnt feel right once you make it home, they mean it. They truly want whats best for you. Oh, and on top of all that, theyre amazing with kids. My daughter is almost 8 and has been going here since she was 4. She loves going as much as they love having her and the treasure chest at the end is definitely her favorite part. 😂 I would recommend Santa Margarita Dental Group to anyone!

Everyone at Santa Margarita Dental Group is amazing! Their office is beautiful and clean.I have a medical condition that requires extra care with my dental work and the whole team is always so on top of my care and making sure they are going through each procedure taking the necessary steps to keep me safe.I would trust anyone else with my dental care

I just want to start by thanking Reza, Dr. Madani, Amber, and the whole team for being the very best dental professionals I have encountered in the US. And believe me, I have been looking for a good dental office in the past 7 years, since we moved from Europe. I am so happy to say, my family and I have found the perfect team because not only the care, the technology, the ambiance are over the top, everyone there is extremely kind and always willing to listen and support their patients above and beyond! Special thanks to Reza, who was extremely supportive with explaining all the extras regarding financial matters! I am extremely grateful to Amber, who made sure my gums are getting healthier everyday, and she instructed me how to properly brush and floss! Dr. Larajani is the most amazing, kind, and skilled dentist/oral surgeon, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. He and Tammy made my procedure so easy and pain-free (and Reza could not be nicer in setting it up). I am someone who has a good deal of anxiety about dental work (and do my best to avoid it), and they are masters at making you feel comfortable and calm. Theyre clearly people who care about how you feel and giving you the best outcome and experience possible. This place is the best. I could not be happier.

Please please beware!! Note that most of these positive reviews are due to a promotion held by the office to receive a $10 gift card. This promo is the first thing you see in the lobby.My previous dental office was of the Lets keep an eye on that variety, and didnt want to repair unless it was vital. SMDG led me to believe that I had more vital issues that needed immediate attention, which I actually agreed with.First, the staff seems so so nice, and we believed they were helping us resolve some of our oral care needs. Tami & Mike were so gracious during my inlay procedure, they talked with me and helped keep me calm through the process. Amber is sweet and caring, but talks to you straight, I respect this and took many of her suggestions for better daily oral care. Dr. Madani already has a game plan when she talks to you so almost doesnt feel as if shes listening. And Reza fools you into a false sense of security with dad jokes and giggles.Last month, our insurance rep scheduled a meeting and warned that we were being grossly overcharged. Turns out that if Santa Margarita Dental uses a particular tool or spray or even water to rinse your gums, you are charged the out of network price - for us, this is $190 instead of $5!On my first appointment, I was in severe distress over some sensitivity I was having in my front 2 teeth. After an evaluation, I was quoted over $9k to fix cavities in my back teeth with inlays. I told Reza, Wow, we must have some pretty bad insurance, to which he responded, no, you actually have good insurance, but insurance doesnt cover this. I was naïve and agreed. They get you with a 5% discount if you pay/finance on the spot. I was then told that my front teeth sensitivity would be resolved with new toothpaste.Shortly after all the work was done - cavities filled and inlays - enamel started to chip away from my front teeth and I now have craters in my front 6 teeth. According to Dr. Madani, this has now moved from cosmetic to urgent, and the previous plan that was forced on me to correct back teeth first - then Invisalign - then veneers was thrown out. This cleaning cost me $190 + $30 for an additional tube of toothpaste, all while Amber admitted she didnt get to do much because I was bleeding. Reza went over the quote with me - $12K for porcelain veneers, and stated this is now no longer cosmetic, but still not covered by insurance. I broke down in tears in his office, and he said that my issues would continue to worsen if I didnt handle it now. Please recall that I first came to this office with this issue, now over a year ago. I said if theres nothing else he can offer me, I have to think on this because Im still paying off the last bill... he called me later that day bringing the cost down to $5k for resin composite.Now that we know to review with the insurance, I saw that resin composites cost me out of pocket at most $30/tooth... times 6 teeth = $180.2 days later, my husband went in for a cleaning. We called and said we wanted the in-network cleaning for $5 and they made a note, but they used water and and anti-bacterial spray so it was $130 out the door.I was called in to move up my apt for another cleaning to start the veneer process, confronted Monica about some of these things, she said Reza would call me back to discuss which has not happened yet and I have not received another call since.We are repairing years of damage, and obviously have a long way to go, but have lost trust in this office to continue care here.

The staff is always friendly, honest, and helpful. I am always at ease getting a cleaning or getting work done. The work they have done has been quality and lasted very well. Overall, a very good experience and recommended.
